Unit3 Asking the way
Part (Look, read and say)
一、教学目标与要求:
1.能听懂、会说、会读、会写单词:way, get, along, street, take, stop, road。2.能听懂、会说、会读History Museum,kilometer, miss, crossing, No.9, post office 并让学生感受a kilometer away, at the third crossing的用法。
3.能正确理解并能体验句型Can you tell me the way to …?及其答句的使用语境。4.能正确理解、掌握对话的内容,并能有感情的朗读对话。
5.引导学生在学习对话的过程中感受如何进行有礼貌的问路和指路。
二、教学重点、难点:
1.重点:能听懂、会说、会读本课词汇,初步理解运用本课句型,能正确理解、掌握对话的内容并能流利的朗读对话。
2.难点:单词history, museum的读音;有感情的朗读对话并适当拓展。
三、教学准备:
多媒体课件,单词(地名)卡片,预先准备一些街道和站台名称放入信封。四、教学过程:
Step1.Warming-up.
1. Greetings.
Step2.Free talk.
1. Show some pictures : What’s in the pictures?
T: Is there a supermarket?
S: Yes.(贴于教室的一角。同样方法出示几个已学过的地点,将教室布置成模拟的City,逐步引入本课教学内容。师生交流,将教室中每排课桌间的空行当作街道,讨论确定一些街道和站台名称。教授三会词:the History Museum, post office) T: Look! This is a new city, and you’re new here. You want to go out to play, and you
don’t know the way, but you can ask me the way.(揭题Unit3 Asking the way)
Step3.Presentation.
S: Where’s the Red Apple Cinema?
T: Let me see. Er…, go along this street, and then turn right at the second crossing. The Red Apple Cinema is here. It’s on NanJing Road.(根据教室的布置说出电影院的位置。)
同时呈现新词:along, crossing, road,新句型:Can you tell me the way to…?(板书)
操练词汇,引导学生参观“新城市”。
T: Now who can try? Can you tell me the way to the cinema?
S2: Yes, it’s on Zhongshan Road.
T: But where’s Zhongshan Road?
S2: Go along this street, and then turn left at the third crossing.
T: How far is it from here? How far?(边拿出皮尺测量,帮助学生理解该文句的含义。)
呈现新词:a kilometer away 新句型:How far is it from here? (板书)
T: How far is it from here?
S2: It’s about a kilometer away.
T: How can I get there faster? Can I take a bus?
S2: Yes. You can take a bus.
T: Which bus?
呈现新词:No. =number
S2: You can take bus No.4.
T: Thank you. How many stops are there?
S2: Three.
T: So I can take bus No.4 and get off at the third stop. Thank you very much.
Step4. Lead-in the text.
1. T: Just now we talked about how to ask the way. Look, there is a new friend, Mr.
Smith.
整体感知课文。
学生自学第一段,回答问题:
(1)Where does he from?
(2)Where is he living now?
(3) Where does he want to go?
(4) What is he doing now?
Step5.Text comprehension.
1.T: Mr. Smith is asking the way. How can he get there?
T: How far is it from here?
He wants to get there faster, which bus can he take?
How many stops are there?
Where is the bus stop?
(此时教学You can’t miss it.)
2. T: He wants to go to the post office, too. Where is it? Which bus can he take? Which stop can he get off? (看金太阳动画一遍)
Step6.Read the text
T: This time, please open your books and read the text.
a) Read after the tape recorder.
b) Read the whole text by them.
c) Retell the story.

1.模仿录音,有感情的朗读对话。
