摘要

随着社会经济的迅速发展和科学技术的全面进步，计算机事业的飞速发展，以计算机与网络技术为基础的信息系统正处于蓬勃发展的时期。机票预定系统，是在网络上建立一个虚拟的订票窗口，避免了实际的烦琐过程，使您的订票过程变得轻松、快捷、方便，很适合现代人快节奏的生活；同时又能有效的控制运营的成本，开辟了一个新的售票渠道。

本系统主要目的是能降低成本，打算实现分类、建立索引和统计功能，能将相关文字有条理地组织起来，形成便于查寻的在线机票目录，并通过一些交互程序完成订单提交、在线支付、在线服务的定制和管理等工作。

机票预定管理系统是典型的信息管理系统，其主要开发包括后台数据库的建立和维护，以及前端应用程序的开发两个方面。对于前者要求建立起数据库一致性和完整性强，数据安全性好的库。而后者则要求应用程序功能完备，易使用等特点。

系统开发采用Linux操作系统，利用其强大的功能及对数据库的支持，先构造一个原型，逐步增加功能，最终满足需求。系统中大量采用查询语句，界面友好，功能较强。最好的地方是当数据访问量大时，性能的不变，且利于数据的有效共享，在以后改进的中应考虑采用SQL(结构化查询语言)作为数据库，解决访问速度及数据共享的问题。该系统性能力求易于使用，具有较高的扩展性和可维护性。
