I am a student from Xihua Middle School in

Chongqing,China. Hearing the activity, I am excited and was so ready to fill in the application form. Being a child growing up on the countryside, I have spent plenty of my time playing in the nearby forest, which makes me extremely close to the nature and care for the animals. Unfortunately, during the past few years, great changes have taken place in many forests all round the world. We have witnesses lots of trees cut down and many animals hunted or homeless.

If I have the honor to have the chance to speak for a kind of animal, I would like to speak for the elephants. As we all know, elephants have big and strong bodies but they are badly hunted for their valuable teeth. The number of elephants is getting smaller and smaller day by day and it's high time for us to do something for them. Please do consider my application not for me but for the poorelephants./

Hopefully my application will make through.
