It’s a typical listening lesson. If the Ss can learn it well, it will be helpful to make the Ss learn the rest of this unit. So learning it well can improve their listening ability and spoken English.

Part2:Teaching aims(教学目标)

According to the new standard curriculum and the syllabus (新课程标准和教学大纲),I make the following teaching aims. The first one is knowledge aims(知识目标) (1)To learn the new words and phrases “cross take,......”。(2) To make the Ss know how to use the sentences patterns“I like/ enjoy/prefer …”to express as quickly as possible, as loudly as possible, as clearly as possible.The second one is ability aims(技能目标).

(1) To develop the Ss’ ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing.(2) To train the Ss’ ability of working in pairs.(3)Develop the Ss’abilities of communication by learning the useful structures. The third one is emotional aims(情感目标).

At last, let the students look at the pictures and try to say the words and phrases, and answer the following questions: (What is the girl/boy/ doing? What are they doing?)
