2024年6月英语六级作文

2024年6月英语六级作文Alright, here's a sample of an English essay that follows the given requirements for a potential English Level 6 exam in June 2024:Wow, this weather's just amazing! You know, it really makes me want to go out and explore. But, I've been meaning to catch up on some reading. I've heard this new book is a must-read.Just the thought of traveling makes me feel so alive. I remember when I visited that small town by the coast. The view from the cliff was breathtaking. I can still picture the sunset over the sea.I've been meaning to learn a new skill. Maybe I'll pick up a musical instrument or try my hand at painting. You know, something creative to express myself.Technology, huh? It's such a double-edged sword. On onehand, it connects us with the world, but on the other, it can be so distracting. I sometimes wonder if we're losing touch with real-life interactions. The last time I went to the theater, I was blown away by the performance. Live entertainment is something you can't replicate with a screen. The atmosphere, the energy in the room, it's just magical.I've heard a lot about sustainability these days. It makes me think about the little things I can do to reduce waste.。

(a)The latest statistics show that the number of people attending cinemas is getting steadily smaller. At the same time, the number of television viewers is growing at almost the same rate.Experts say that these two trends are connected in three ways. First, over the past few decades television sets have appeared in almost every home. Second, films very quickly become available on video, and can be shown on the TV screen. Third, it is becoming more expensive to make films, and so the prices of cinema seats are rising. However, this does not mean the death of the movie industry. There will always be people who prefer to go out tosee a film. This is because no matter how good a TV film or video is, it can never be as entertaining as a film shown on the “big screen.”(b)Film is giving way to TV. According to an investigation made on the number of film-goers and TV-watchers in a ten-year period (1975-1985), at the end of 1985, the number of film-goers declined sharply to about 15 thousand which accounts for only some 20 percent of what in 1975, the heyday of films. This decline, no doubt, owes to the steadily increasing number of TV-watchers in the same decade. This, I think, indicates the changing pace in our society. Nowadays, people prefer TV to film largely because they have less chance than their older generation to spend two or three hours in a cinema; they prefer a kind of entertainment which is freer, less time-consuming and thus more efficient. TV just meets their need. This is at least partly if not wholly the reason that attributes to the boom of TV in our generation.Nevertheless, there are still a number of film-fans nowadays. They claim that as a classical art, film is far more enjoyable than TV. Some of them also want to recall the “true-life” which existed in the “good-past”. All in all, film is still a charming kind of art as it used to be.(a)最新统计数据显示,人们参加电影院数量逐渐变小。

Only a few people bother to spend a lot of time reading classics. And in the market, those fashionable reading materials, which may cater to modem people’s love of fashion, are taking the place of the masterpieces. One of the reasons behind the phenomenon is that there are so many other leisure activities in the modern society that young people prefer these things for fun to classical literary works. As the backbone of this society, college students should be fully aware of the importance of reading classics. Therefore, we should read those classical works our ancestors have left to us as much as possible, and advocate the importance of classics so that an increasing number of people can enjoy the pleasure and benefit from reading classics.大学英语六级真题范文第四篇Like most people, I welcome the advent of the market economy. Nevertheless, it must be admitted that, along with the benefits of the market economy, have come problems. In my opinion, the biggest problem is the large number of fake and shoddy goods, which are found all over the country and do great harm to society.Fake and shoddy goods are harmful on two levels. Some people think that the quickest way to make profits is by selling poor-quality commodities, and this undermines the nation s economy. At the same time, some fake and shoddy goods are bad for people s health. This makes consumers distrust the sellers and the free market in general. In view of the seriousness of this problem, it is essential that laws and regulations be worked out to ban the manufacture and circulationof fake and shoddy goods. At the same time, consumers should be educated to identify sub-standard commodities. With proper laws andan alert public, it will only be a matter of time before fake and shoddy goods become things.大学英语六级真题范文第五篇As a general rule, people like to help others, but there areoccasions when you should say no to requests for favors. For instance, it is better to refuse when a child pesters you for sweet food and drinks or for too many toys. Another example is when a relative asks you to use yours influence to get him or her a bank loan or work promotion. However, we cannot ignore the fact that many people are reluctant to say no. They feel that if they turn down a request from a relative or friend, they will cause ill-feeling within the family or become unpopular with their acquaintances. A notable case in point is when the boss asks them to do something which they feel is unreasonable. It is important to keep in mind that not saying no when you shouldsay no can sometimes have harmful consequences. If children are giver everything they ask for, not only may their health be damaged, but they may grow up selfish and spoilt. Again, in the long run it is kinder to re fuse to lend money to a person who has a gambling or alcoholism problem.大学英语六级真题范文第六篇Should Universities lower Admission Requirements for Celebrities? In recent years, many famous universities lower admissionrequirements for celebrities. More and more celebrities, especially sports stars, have been admitted to famous universities even without an entry examination. This phenomenon has become a subject of widespread controversy. Some people object strongly that universities lower admission requirements for celebrities. They hold that this admission pattern will damage the basic fairness rule of education. In addition, they say that if a person who has not enough academic ability is admittedto the university, it would be an insult on college education. However, still other people think it acceptable. They say that thesecelebrities deserve this privilege because they have proved their abilities in their field. Besides, in their opinions, thesecelebrities to some extent set a good model for other young people.Weighing these two arguments, I prefer the latter one. For one thing, these celebrities have sacrificed much learning time for their work, so they should be provided a better chance for learning. For another, if they accept advanced education, they could serve the society better. Therefore, I suggest that people should pay more attention to these celebrities’ efforts and contributions rather than the special treatment they enjoy.大学英语六级真题范文第七篇Nowadays, there is a growing tendency that college graduates in mounting numbers choose to work as village officials after graduation. People’s attitudes towards this phenomenon differ sharply. Some hold the positive view while others are against it. From my perspective, I believe that it is a wise choice. The reason why I support them can be listed as follows: on the one hand, college graduates can contribute a lot to the development ofthe countryside. Firstly, having received formal education and professional training in universities, college graduates can help peasants master advanced technology. Besides, by spreading and introducing new concepts, they can also accelerate the development of rural culture. Consequently, the gap between the city and the countryside can be gradually narrowed. On the other hand, college graduates themselves can also benefit a lot from being village officials. In the first place, working in rural areas with adverse environmental condition and lower living standard, they are morelikely to foster a spirit of hard-working and independence. Moreover, compared with their peers competing for limited positions, those who work as village officials enjoy more opportunities and are morelikely to bring their abilities and potential into full play. Therefore, it is a win-win choice for college graduates to work as village officials and more graduates should be encouraged to work in the countryside.大学英语六级真题范文第八篇Walking on the campus, you’ll find luxuries are not far away for students. Some wear CK clothes and some carry LV bags. According toan online survey conducted by Tencent in May this year, there are 37 percent students claiming to have a certain luxury. On the basis of the survey, the way of obtaining luxuries is quite different. Some students get them from their parents, as their families are in good financial condition. Some take part-time jobs to buy luxuries by themselves. For example, a college student named Xiao Mei said she worked as a tutor for three months in order to get a bottle of Dior perfume. Some receive luxuries as a gift from their friends or relatives. As for me, I object to students' using luxuries. It is known that luxuries are notable for their super prices. However, students are not economically independent and their attention should be paid to study. In this sense, using luxuries is improper for students.大学英语六级真题范文第九篇As can be seen clearly from the graph, the difference in the numbers of people working in thethree major employment sectors in the . economy in the early 1980s was relatively small, with about 4 million workers in engineering, 5 million in agriculture and million in theservice industries. However, the period 1980-1990 saw significant changes in the relative sizes of these threeemployment sectors. there was a rapid decline in employment in agriculture, with the numberof workers dropping by more than 80%. On the other, employment oppor tunities in the serviceindustries increased sharply, especially after 1986, whereas the engineering sectorexperienced a gradual but constant decline.Trends in the above graph clearly indicate that the serviceindustries will continue to employthe largest number of people at least for the next few years, while the engineering sector willneed somewhat fewer workers in the next decade. On the whole, the total number ofemployment offered in these three sectors was much smaller than ten years before and theredoesn't seem to be any likelihood for improvement in the near future. So, students who aregoing to graduate soon may need to prepare to seek employment elsewhere.大学英语六级真题范文第十篇Everyone has got two personalities — the one that is shown to the world and the other that is secret and don’t show your secret personality when you’re awake because you can control your behavior, but when you’re asleep, your sleeping position shows the real you.In a normal night, of course, people frequently change their position. The important position is the one that you go to sleep in.If you go to sleep on your back, you’re a very open person. You normally trust people and you are easily influenced by fashion or new ideas. You don’t like to upset people, so you never express yourreal feelings. You’re quite shy and you aren’t very confident. If you sleep on your stomach, you are a rather secretive person. You worry a lot and you’re always easily upset. You’re very stubborn, but you aren’t very amb itious. You usually live for today but not tomorrow. This means that you enjoy having a good time.If you sleep curled up, you are probably a very nervous person. You have a low opinion of yourself and so You’re often defensive. You’re shy and you don’t no rmally like meeting people. You preferto be on your own. You’re easily hurt.If you sleep on your side, you have usually got a well-balanced personality. You know your strengths and weaknesses. You’re usually careful. You have a confident personality. You sometimes feel anxious, but you don’t often get depressed. You always say what you thinkeven if it annoys people.大学英语六级真题范文第十一篇Nowadays, college students are required to take part in some social practice, such as being an assistant in companies, or doing surveys, especially during the holidays. Social practice is gradually becoming more essential for China’s higher education. However, socialpractice has both advantages and disadvantages for college students. On the one hand, it provides students more opportunities to contact with the real world off-campus;Besides, it helps students to grasp some practical skills, especially communication skills, which is an essential supplement to on-campus study; Moreover, social practicecan widen students’ vision. O n the other hand, the negative effects can not be neglected: students’ major task is learning knowledge, while curiosity about off-campus world may distract them; Sometimes social practice is even treated unseriously and becomes a waste of time;Furthermore, the students may be faced with dangers unexpectedly.Despite the potential negative effects of social practice, I strongly support social practice for college students, since as a whole, thebenefits overwhelm the likely harm. Two heads are better than one, if students, schools, and the society join hands together, social practice can be carried out more effectively and better armed students for the society can be expected.大学英语六级真题范文第十二篇how important is money ?no one would argue , i think , that money is unimpor tant . there a re ce rtain things that human beings need — food , shelter , medical care and these things cost money . but if one has enough money tolive on , to pay for the basic essentials of life , is it impor tant to have a lot more money than that ?will your life improve in propor tion to the amount of money that you have ?well , there is no denying that money can buy a lot . maybe you do not need much money to pay for a simple shelter , but how about if you want a nice big apar tment in a nice neighbourhood , or if you want to buy a house ? in fact , people do get on each other’s ne rves if they are crowded together in a small kitchen , if a mar ried couple cannot but sha re a room with their parents , if childr en ar e not allowed to have a little privacy of their own .mor eove r , it is nice to get a little pleasur e out of life, alittle fun from time to time . unfor tunately , many of the fun things that you can do today cost money . in modern cities , for example , on any night , outstanding performers appear in night clu bs and on concer t stages . fur thermore , you can dine on foods f rom eve ry corne r of the wor ld in the restaur ants . so how can it be that many people in mode rn cities do not have fun ? simple, they do not have the money to take advantage of all these att ractions .so , is money the road to happiness ? not r eally . la rge numbers of people work eve ry day , work over time, work weekends , and make a lot of money . are they happy ? no . they have no time to form or maintain friendship , no time to enjoy themselves .sur ely everyone has thought at times ,“if only i had a lot of money , i would be the happiest person in the wor ld .”but it is impor tant to r emember that money is only a means to an end , not the end itself .大学英语六级真题范文第十三篇From the day the first digital product was given birth, unbelievable changes have happened in our life.A few years ago, when we read, prints on the paper are the only media which carries meaning. When we listen to music, we have to buy magnetic tapes or CDs which record the sound. However, nowadys, our life is a totally different picture. We read books all the same, but many of them are e-books which is more convenient and more cheap. As to music, with a matchbox-sized mp3 player, we can download whatever we like from the boundless musicfiles on the internet. These are only the most insignificant examples how digital products have benefit us. Thanks to indigital products, the variety and quantity of information we can obtain is unprecedented. In everyday work, study and many other aspects, digital products have played a more and more important life in our life. However, on the other hand, digital products also cause many negative effects to our lives. As life become more and more convenient, most people become more and more indifferent. They close their doors and never go out as soon as they get home from work. If they live alone, they will kill their time by surfing online. They dont have any connections even with their closest neighbors, who seem no different from people they meet everyday in the street. For students, they spend much more time than before on listening to the music or playing computer games. These phenomena are no good to our universities, nor to our society. On the whole, it is high time that we recognized the positive effects and also the negative ones of digital products, and used them in the right way.大学英语六级真题范文第十四篇The seats in our school reading-room are not enough for all the students. In order to "seize" a seat, I go there very early every morning. Just because of this, a special story happened to me one day.I learned a lesson in the reading-room that I will remember all my life.It took place on a Monday morning in October. After occupying a seatin the reading-room, I went to fetch a bottle of boiled water. When I returned to the reading-room, I found that a girl student was sitting on my seat. Immediately I ran to her and shouted at her angrily, "Whyhave you taken my seat? Go away.!" Everybody in the reading-room looked up from their books at me unfriendly. At once I brushed with shame. I rushed out of the reading-room with my book. I can never forget those "eyes".This is the lesson I've learned in the reading-room: I shall respect other people.大学英语六级真题范文第十五篇The Importance of Building Trust BetweenTeachers and StudentsA good relationship between a teacher and a studentcan have a major influence on a kid's development, and trust is crucial and indispensable inmaintaining the relationship. To begin with, only when a student believes in his orher teacher is he or she willing to learn from theteacher or look to the teacher for guidance and support. In reality, too many students areweary of study and even drop out of school only because they dislike their teachers, whichmay transform their whole life. Besides, a teacher who has the full trust of his or her studentsis more motivated to help them improve the consciousness and initiative of learning, whichin turn benefits the students most. However, the credibility between teachers and students isnot something that can be built in a day. On the one hand, teachers should comprehend thestudents' actual demands andoffer timely help. On the other hand, students should always berespectful to their teachers. All in all, trust in a teacher-student relationship is a must to achieve effective teaching anlearning.大学英语六级真题范文第十六篇In recent years, the volunteering spirit has spread widely among the public, especially among youngsters. From Olympic Games to urban communities, many people are seen to offer free help.Volunteering is of tremendous benefit to those in need. For example, hundreds of thousands of volunteers played an active role in the recent quake-hit Yushu area: they offered medical and psychological aid to the victims in the relief work. On the other hand, volunteering is beneficial to the volunteers themselves too. Involved in volunteering activities, people are exposed to new circumstancesj and they can learn how to work well in a team and how to improvetheir interpersonal skills, all of which are critical for theircareer development. In my view, we should all join in volunteering work as long as wehave spare time. That doesn’t necessarily mean that we all volunteer in regions struck by natural disasters. There are many people eise who need our help, . the old or the sick in the near nursing home. Little by EittJe, we are sure to help make the world better.大学英语六级真题范文第十七篇The Importance of Name Recently, it is universally acknowledged that due attention has to be paid to the importance of name. To begin with, a large number of people assert that one’s name can exert profound influence on the success of a person or institution. In addition, some even maintain that the mental health and physical fitness of a person will be influenced or even determined by his or her name. On the contrary, it is the view of a great many people that one’s nameis of little significance. I can think of no better illustration than the following ones. “Qiu”, which means “hill”, is the name of Confucius, the greatest thinker, philosopher and educator throughtout history. Likewise, another case in point is Lao Zi, the founder of philosophical and religious Taoism, whose name is “er”, which means “the ear”. These examples effectively clarify that one’s future is only determined by his striving spirit, talent or intelligence rather than some mysterious and superstitious factors such as certain names or lucky numbers. As for me, significance should be attached to intelligence, persistenc e and diligence instead of one’s name. Given all the above arguments, it is high time that we put an end to this undesirable phenomenon. On the Importance of a Name There is no denying the fact that it is a controversial topic whether names are important or not. Some hold the positive view. They claim that a good name, or a name that can be easily remembered, can bring one a lot more opportunities than others. Some Chinese may also believe that a name designed according to the traditional theory of five elements can bring good luck. Others, however, hold the opposite view. They argue that a name is nothingbut a code to distinguish one from another. A person “good” name may not be as successful as the name indicates. In the same way, a person who has a common or casually given name can also achieve tremendous success. Personally, I believe that both sides have something right, so we should not go to extremes. On the one hand, we have to admit that a well designed name can help a person to some extent. On the other hand, we should not exaggerate the effect of aname on a person's fate. Anyway, a person's success mainly depends on his hard work and desirable personalities.大学英语六级真题范文第十八篇punctuality means observing regula r or appointed time . a man who gets up a t seven o’clock every morning is pu nctual . a man who has promised to call on a friend at five o’clock in the afternoon and actually does so at tha t hour is also punctualpunctuality is a good habit , and unp unctuality a bad one . a few minut es’dela y may not be a serious mat ter , but it may have bad r es ults . get ting up five minutes late r than u sual may upset the plan of the day . calling on a friend five minutes later than the appointed time may cau se him some unexpected t rouble . moreover , habitual unpunctuality leads to indolence and even failur e in life . one delay af ter anothe r makes a man unable to exer t himself . it also proves him to be unt rustworthy .those who ar e unpunctual s hould t ry their best to get rid of their bad habit . in doing this , they should avoid making any kind of exception . they should never say to themselves :“a fewminutes’delay does not mat ter this time . i s hall never be unpunctual again .”t hose who think in this way will find excusesfor delay from time to time , and will at last give up the a ttempt to cultivate the good habit .like all other good habits , pu nctuality becomes second natur e with those who have duly cultivat ed it .大学英语六级真题范文第十九篇From the cartoon given above, we can observe that there is arecruiter talking with an interviewee. When looking at the resume submitted by the candidate, the interviewer says,“Sorry, kid… Your resume looks good, but you only have a Master’s degree…All the other applicants are . ! ” Having heard these word s, the applicant seems to be quite helpless and embarrassed. The cartoon reveals that the society has been placing a higher value on educational degree. What factors might contribute to this phenomenon? Answers to this question may involve many aspects, and here are a few guesses: for one thing, from the subjective aspect, quite a few employers hold that the higher educational degree people have, the more competent they will be. For another, from theobjective aspect, with the professions in modern society becoming increasingly segmented, employees are required to acquire higher degree to fulfill their tasks efficiently.Definitely, higher degrees enjoy obvious advantages. However, it is not advisable that employers judge a person only by his/ her educationa l backgrounds. Let alone “Degree Discrimination”. As for ourselves, we should not only attach a great importance to educational degree, but also spare no efforts to enhance our comprehensive abilities.大学英语六级真题范文第二十篇This is a simple but thought-provoking drawing. As we can see in it,a meeting seems to be going on, with several staff members sitting around a table and a laptop in front of each of them. A leader-like man stands there, complaining: “We have lots of information technology. We just don’t have much useful information.”Simple as the picture is, the message it conveys is profound. Evidently it is meant to reveal the fact that there is too much junk information online. (举例论证)Taking a look around, we can also find examples too many to best illustration that I can recall here and now isthe fact that whenever you search for the cure for a disease or a scenic spot to visit, you are flooded by advertisements, many of which are even cheating. (分析影响)Actually, the problem has become so widespread that it h as severely affectedpeople’slife andhindered the development of society.Of course, we should not give up eating for fear of being choked. Admittedly, information technology has greatly facilitated our life and work. The best policy, as I see it, is to maximize its advantages and eliminate its unhealthy one thing, it is imperative thatpertinent laws and regulations be worked out and rigidly enforced topunish those spreading cheating ads online. For another, the searching engine websites should make a point of reducing junk information. Only with these measures taken can we expect thesolution of the problem.大学英语六级真题范文第二十一篇The seats in our school reading-room are not enough for all the students. I took my book and fled helter-skelter before so many eyes.I dared not go to the reading-room for several days. I learned a lesson in the reading-room. Since then I have been keeping the lesson in mind: To be polite to everyone.。

2024年实用的大学英语六级作文(精选20篇)大学英语六级作文篇1Do you check your smartphone frequently? Do you feel distracted if your smartphone is not with you? When there’s no wifi or signal for your smartphone, will you get irritated? If you say yes, then you’ve got addiction to smartphones. Smartphone addiction is a phenomenon that causes a lot of troubles to people. In the first place, it may cause some problems to your health, such as visual fatigue, cervical spondylosis, and even neurasthenia. A friend of mine suffers from a serious spine collapse due to her addiction to smartphones during pregnancy.Secondly, if you keep playing with your phone when you are with your friends or family, you will spend less time talking to them. In fact, it is they who need and deserve to be cared for.Lastly, an excessive reliance on smartphones may weaken your interpersonal skills. When you cannot find a place, you consult your GPS instead of consultinglocal people. You spare more time playing mobile games than playing real games with real people. As time passes, it’s possible that you may have difficulty in communicating with people. Therefore, isn’t it better to get rid of smartphone addiction?大学英语六级作文篇2As the negative news of undergraduates come out uninterruptedly, studen t’s psychological quality has aroused wide concern. It’s no doubt that to improve undergraduates’ quality is very important at present. Solving the problem needs collaborative efforts between universities and students themselves. On the one hand, authorities in universities play a critical role in the situation. First of all, schools can provide chances for the students to develop their hobbies and interests. Everyone should always do something he likes and master a special skill so that they can enjoy the beautiful (brilliant)life. Second but not least, specialists in this field are needed to give professional advises for schools. In the last place, teachers may have a chance to give guidance intime. On the other hand, as a college student, we should try to move from challenge to challenge and face all kinds of hard ships bravely. There is no easy method, but with your efforts that must be of some help to improve your psychological quality.大学英语六级作文篇3It is really a common scene in college classroom and lectures: students are engaged in whatever they can think of except listening carefully to their teachers and reflecting actively on what is taught. For example, they are busy with sleep, playing games with the phone, communication with friends through short messages. Some students even are absent from classes. This phenomenon is worrying and attracting a lot of discussion among the people concerned. There is an opinion that class attendance should be optional. Firstly, the students have the freedom to choose their universities, their majors, and definitely are free to choose whether or not to go to classes. Secondly, the teaching quality has a great influence on the studentschoice. Thirdly, if the students are forced to the classroom, their careless attitude hurts both the teacher who may feel his effort is not worthy and other hard-working classmates who may be distracted.大学英语六级作文篇4China’s stock market is luring students looking to sec how their textbook teachings fare in real life. While there arc no concrete data on the student- investor, business professors say tbe market boom has boosted the number of students looking to play around with stocks. They invest in the stock market with money from parents and sometimes with amount equal to several times their annual tuition. Some people are alarmed at the trend. As investing in the stock market involves many risks, they say, college students are very likely to lose, which may put students miiy assets at risk. However, some are supportive. As more and more students become sbarebolders, they will help raise tie general quality of shareholders and there will be more rational stock buyers in securities market, which is actually a good thing. In my view, college students may give stock investment a try if possible. Stock investment may be a way to make fast money and help finance students schooling. Even if the students are likely to lose in the stock market, it may still bring about valuable investment experience —they can、learn if they don’t tiy.大学英语六级作文篇5Perhaps there is something you don't know how to doTTn the past, you might turn to a friend or a relative, attend a night class or go to the local library to find the answer. Indeed, e-learning has become a common phenomenon. There are two factors leading to this condition. For one thing, with the speeding up of modern life rhythm, the internet, to a large degree, plays a dominant part in our daily life. Thus, there is no doubt that it offers us many advantages and makes our life more convenient and efficient, ranging from online meal booking to reading online. Additionally, it is a more advanced approach to access to essential and useful information. By clicking the mouse , any stories and information what I want at any given time and site can be accessed. Consequently, that’s the reason why a large number of people prefer to choose the way ofstudying online.Admittedly, much useless and false information abounds on the internet. It is advisable for us to reading more carefully and critically.大学英语六级作文篇7The relation between the virtual world and the real one has aroused public attention in recent years, and has become a stormy topic on in TV programs, newspapers, university classes and many aspects of our everyday life. The topic’s status as the focus of public concern mainly results from the virtual world based on the Web is a double-edged sword for human beings in the real world. For one thing, it is undoubted that the virtual world does bring men unprecedented experience, such as on-line shopping, chat with friends and family members on the web, playing video games, e-commerce and so on; it seems that the virtual world can meet all requirements of humans. For another thing, as the wisest creature on the planet, we, humans should reflect on what will take place if they take more and more time to live in the virtual world rather than inthe real world. For my part, if we do so, the time we spend with friends or family will become less. And we hardly see them once in a week. It will make us feel lonely if we continue to be indulged in the virtual world instead of enjoying the real life , such as talking with friends on the phone or going out with them.To my best understanding, we should distinguish that the virtual world is totally different from the real one and the former cannot replace the latter either. Otherwise we will be reduced to the slaves in the virtual reality. If we want to enjoy our life and keep our friendship more effectively, we should spend more time with them in our real life. Only in this way can we not only make full use of the communication tool in the virtual word but also make our real life more meaningful and colorful.大学英语六级作文篇8Want to be a small fish in a big pond or the other way round? Every graduate faces this question when he starts his career. A large number of college graduates prefer to stay in the big cities. To them, big cities mean more experiences, more opportunities to see thebig world and more space for career development. At the same time, higher salary is another temptation. But some other graduates want to start in small towns. Even though there may not be many big companies, they can have a quieter and less competitive life. Another reason is that they can be a big fish in a small pond. They can easily get the management’s attention and may win promotion earlier. As far as I am concerned, I prefer to start in a metropolis like Shanghai. A good begin is half the battle, and in Shanghai I can find a job in a big company where I can meet people from different places and cultures. I will learn from them what I can not get from textbooks.大学英语六级作文篇9Ever since the birth of it, the computer has largely changed human being’s life and there has been a hot debate about its effects on humans. Undeniably, computers have taken the place of humans in many areas and it seems that computers begin to think like man, but this does not necessarily lead to the danger that man will think like computers. The reasons, in my opinion, are as follows. Firstly, when computers release human from repetitive tasks, humans themselves can spend more time on creative works, such as scientific research, which require imagination and cannot be completed by computers. Meanwhile, thanks to computers, humans get more spare time with their friends and family, which enhances their happiness. Moreover, even though computers can work automatically, the premise is that the program, which is written by humans, has been installed in it.In conclusion, humans, unlike computers, have creative ability, emotional desires and social bounds. Thus, I don’t think that there will be the danger that man will begin to think like the computer.大学英语六级作文篇10Recently a blind date including 20 young men and women has been held by an organization. Some people see it as a good way to meet different people while others argue that its not possible to find ones partner between two people who have not previously met. As far as Im concerned, blind dating is worth trying and you can find your true love there!First of all, nowadays many young people are always busying with their work; therefore they have little spare time to meet with their future partner, leading to more and more leftover women and men. According to a study, a happy life includes work and family balance, which means a harmonious family including the couple may contribute to a comparably happy life.Whats more, during a blind date, usually the basic information is given to both parts; therefore its more reliable to know a persons family background, his or her job, religion etc. As is known to all, a couple should have the same belief in value, wealth, thus preventing many potential conflicts.Last but not least, through blind dates, one can meet people with different personalities, thus having a clearer idea about which kind of person is suitable for being a lifelong mate. And blind dates are also great chances to make friends in the same age group. To sum up, blind dating can be a good way to find ones future husband or wife. Its feasible and reliable. Hope that everyone can find true love in blind dates!大学英语六级作文篇11Adversity is like a cell in the air, and it happens on almost everyone. Therefore, it is inevitable to keep it far away from us. There are numerous kinds of adversity, such as the difficulties we meet, the diseases we catch and so on.According to a survey, different people hold various opinions on adversity. Thirty percent of people feel upset and have no confidence to conquer it, so they sometimes fail in the difficulties. However, forty percent of people take the positive attitude toward adversity. They always take some actions to solve each problem that surrounds them. Finally, they feel satisfied and uplifting when they succeed. Thirty percent of people may seek help from others, and get rid of the predicament in the end.As far as I am concerned, first and the most, we must face the adversity with courage, in that it can bring us energy and strength. In addition, we should try our best to deal with adversity. It is as the famous saying goes, No pains, no gains. Last but not least, if we try but have no way, we should invite others to help us and surmount the problems together.大学英语六级作文篇12Should Graduates Spend Much on Job Hunting? Nowadays college graduates spend more and more money on job hunting. According to a recent survey, almost every graduate spends some money on finding a job. And clothing, transportation, resumes producing and training expense are the main aspects that cost them a lot of money. As to this phenomenon, different people have different views. Some say it is necessary for graduates to spend money in producing embellished resumes and buying suitable clothes, which can give interviewers a good impression and increase their chance of success. However, others dont think so. They argue that the high expenditure can increase their parents financial burden since most students have no regular income. Apart from that, the decorated resumes do little help to find a job because most HR managers pay more attention to skills. In my opinion, there is nothing wrong for graduates to invest some money on job hunting. But they should bear in mind that it is their knowledge, skills as wellas experience that matter a lot. So they must have a rational attitude toward what they should buy and how much money they should spend.大学英语六级作文篇13There is no denying the fact that it is a hotly debated topic today how college graduates should choose their careers. Some time ago, it was reported that some college graduates chose to work as village officials. To this people’s attitudes differ sharply. Some hold the positive view while others are against it. As far as I am concerned, I believe that it is a wise choice. On the one hand, college graduates can contribute a lot to the development of the countryside. First, they can apply their professional knowledge there. Secondly, they can introduce new concepts to the countryside and speed the development of rural culture. As a result, the gap between the city and the countryside can well be bridged. On the other hand, these graduates can benefit a lot from working as village officials. While too many college graduates are fighting for the handful of positions in big cities, these graduates can findthemselves a wider stage of development and realize their value. Therefore, college graduates working as village officials is a win-win choice and more graduates should be encouraged to work in the countryside.大学英语六级作文篇14When asked about their opinion of career and family, people always respond differently. Some people deem it more important to pursue their career, while there are always other people who argue that family should be the number one in one’s life.It goes without any question that career plays a key role in our life. In the very first place, career can give us an aim to live on. Without career, much of our living time will be certainly wasted. What’s more, career can provide us with a means to live on. Most of the people earn their income from a job. On the other hand, family is also an indispensable part of life, as many people will admit. Family is always regarded as a place where we can escape from troubles in life. In addition, we can obtain a sense of belonging to from family. Without it, anyone will feel lonely anddesperate. In my opinion, career and family are not in opposition to each other. Rather, they can enhance each other so that one’s life can become better and better. Therefore, it’s not a choice between right and wrong, but one between ideal and practical.大学英语六级作文篇15Some people are in favor of the idea of over-consumption. They point out the fact that Chinas rapid economic development has materially enriched the lives of ordinary Chinese people, and at the same time increased our demands as consumers. They also argue that the rising consumption helps drive economic growth. However, other people stand on a different ground. They consider it harmful to consume more than what their family can afford. They firmly point out that the dogged pursuit for more accounts for our debts, anxiety, waste and overload. An example can back up this arguement: The American financial crisis caused by over consumption made the people of the world worse off. There is some truth in both arguements. But I think the disadvantages of over-consumption outweigh theadvantages. In addititon to the above-mentioned negative effects, the surging consuming demand threatens to exhaust our resources and spoil our environment. To conclude, our government is advocating ideas of conservation-minded society and sustainable development. Whether due to sense of guilt about waste, or a simple desire to save money, we need to promote sustainable consumption.大学英语六级作文篇16Based on a recent survey on the Internet, a majority of individuals admit that aging society willbring a variety of problems to their life. Along with the trend of longevity, it has become a trendfor people to debate whether it is wise to postpone retirement age. Some people favor postponing the retirement age. In their eyes, it is this policy that enables theaging society to build up enough work-force. As a matter of fact, people in mounting numbershave come to realize this problem in an aging society. Even so, others hold a different view thatpostponing retirement age carries some risks. This policy can bring old people stress, but cannotarouse their enthusiasm for work, and cannot help them to enjoy their retirement pension.I am convinced that we should balance old people interest and this aging society. Thus, if thoseseniors have enthusiasm for work, we should educate, advocate and encourage them to work andperform their tasks. If we try our utmost to do so, the future of old people life will be promising, hopeful and rosy.大学英语六级作文篇17Peter Buck,a famous American female writer, once said “if you want to understand today, you have to search yesterday.” Evidently, it is meant to tell us the significant influence of history to this day and age or the intimate relationship between past and present.Actually, examples proving it are abounded in our daily life. Here I can think of no better illustration of the proverb than the experience of students. In terms of English examination, taking CET-6 as an example, we students prefer to bone up on the past examination papers first in order to pass the exam successfully. Taking a look around, we can also find examples too manyto enumerate. It is no denying to say that“Histories make men wise”To sum up, we may say that if you want to understand today, you have to search yesterday. So, one should not indulge himself in confusion for today and complaint the setbacks he is facing. What he really has to do is to slow down and seek inspiration or solution in his past. In a word, sometimes the best way to go forward is to look backward.大学英语六级作文篇18The sense of happiness is of great significance. As a vital factorof life, it brings us power, arouses our enthusiasm for loving life, and helps us to create apromising future. However, in contemporary China, it has become a trend for Chinese people tohold different views about happiness and the way to enhance it.In addition to material basis, the sense of happiness also refers to several others aspects. Firstly, based on a recent survey, a majority of individuals admit that they are no longer content withbeing fed and clothed adequately, and their happiness depends more on their success in careers, friendship and love. Secondly, a great many people claim that health is the key to their sense ofhappiness. It is health that enables them to build up a solid foundation for anything significant. As a college student, I am convinced that never can money equal happiness. To enhance oursense of happiness, we should educate, advocate and encourage our friends and classmates toenrich their knowledge, broaden their horizon and cultivate their ability.大学英语六级作文篇19It has long been accepted that a smile is the best language. The truth of a smile is that it is like a seed that can grow into a towering tree and at long last it has deep and profound effect on people’s lives. At the moment we get in trouble, get misunderstood or give thanks,a smile is more helpful than any other expression. Many daily incidents can probe the strength/power of smile. To begin with,we should always smile to ourselves,so as to keep optimistic when in difficulty. At the same time, smiling to others is necessary, too.Sometimes,we may face misunderstandings that are hard to explain clearly simply bu words. Then,a smile can show them the genuine sincerity to win their trust.Besides, smile is a worldwide language to say “thanks” and can bring pleasant feelings to others. In a word, perhaps the best example of universally understood body language is smile. As the old saying goes, smile to others, and sooner or later they will smile back to you.大学英语六级作文篇20Nowadays college graduates spend more and more money on job hunting. 2022年9月英语六级作文范文The rapid advancements in technology have significantly transformed the way we live our lives. From the way we communicate to how we access information, the digital revolution has permeated every aspect of our daily routines. As we navigate this ever-evolving landscape, it is crucial to examine the impact of technology on our personal and professional development particularly in the context of higher education. One of the most notable benefits of technology in the academic realm is the enhanced accessibility to educational resources. The proliferation of online learning platforms, digital libraries, and educational websites has made it possible for students to access a vast trove of knowledge with just a few clicks. This democratization of information has empowered individuals to pursue lifelong learning and explore subjects that pique their interests, regardless of their geographical location or socioeconomic status.Furthermore, the integration of technology in the classroom has revolutionized the teaching and learning experience. Innovative toolssuch as interactive whiteboards, multimedia presentations, and virtual simulations have made learning more engaging and interactive. Educators can now utilize these technologies to deliver content in a more dynamic and personalized manner, catering to the diverse learning styles of their students. This has led to improved comprehension, better retention of information, and enhanced collaborative learning opportunities.Another significant impact of technology on higher education is the rise of distance learning and online degree programs. These platforms have opened up new avenues for individuals who may have faced barriers to traditional on-campus education due to geographical, financial, or personal constraints. By offering flexible schedules, self-paced learning, and the ability to access course materials from anywhere, online education has democratized access to higher learning and provided opportunities for those who may have otherwise been excluded. However, the integration of technology in higher education is not without its challenges. One of the primary concerns is the issue of digital divide, where disparities in access to technology and digital literacy can exacerbate existing inequalities within the educational system. Students from underprivileged backgrounds or from remote areas may lack the necessary infrastructure, devices, or digital skills to fully benefit from technology-driven learning. This can lead to awidening of the achievement gap and perpetuate the cycle of educational inequality. Moreover, the reliance on technology in the academic setting has also raised concerns about the potential for distraction and diminished focus. The constant influx of notifications, social media updates, and online distractions can make it challenging for students to maintain their attention and engage deeply with the course material. This can have adverse effects on academic performance, critical thinking, and the overall quality of the learning experience.Additionally, the increased use of technology in higher education has raised privacy and cybersecurity concerns. The collection and storage of student data, the potential for data breaches, and the ethical implications of using algorithms and artificial intelligence in educational decision-making have become pressing issues that institutions must address to ensure the protection of student rights and the integrity of the academic environment.Despite these challenges, the benefits of technology in higher education cannot be overlooked. The key lies in striking a balance and implementing technology in a thoughtful and strategic manner that enhances the learning experience while mitigating the potential drawbacks. Institutions should invest in robust digital infrastructure, provide comprehensive digital literacy training for both students andfaculty, and develop clear policies and guidelines to ensure the responsible and ethical use of technology in the academic setting. Moreover, educators should strive to integrate technology in a way that complements and enriches traditional teaching methods, rather than replacing them entirely. By leveraging the strengths of both digital and in-person learning, institutions can create a holistic and inclusive educational experience that caters to the diverse needs and learning styles of their students. In conclusion, the impact of technology on higher education is multifaceted and complex. While it has undoubtedly brought about significant advancements and opportunities, it has also raised critical concerns that must be addressed. As we navigate this evolving landscape, it is crucial for educational institutions, policymakers, and stakeholders to collaborate and develop a comprehensive approach to the integration of technology in the academic realm. By doing so, we can harness the power of technology to enhance the quality of education, promote inclusive learning, and prepare the next generation of global citizens who are equipped to thrive in the digital age.。

2022.6.11 6级作文2022年6月英语六级优秀作文范文My Dormitory Room我的宿舍My dormitory room is on the second floor. It is small and crowded. The dark green walls andthe dirty white ceiling make the room seem dark, and thus even smaller than it is. As you walkinto the room, you are stopped short by my bed which fills half of the room. The two largewindows over the bed are hidden by heavy dark gold drapes. Against the wall on your left, pushed into a corner behind the head of the bed, is a large bookcase which is crammed withpapers , books, and knick-knacks, Wedged in between the bookcase and the wall opposite thebed is a small grey metal desk. It has a brown wooden chair which seems to fill the left end ofthe room. Stuffed under the desk is a wooden wastepaper bas ket over — flowing with paperand debris. The wall above the bookcase and desk is completely taken up with two smallposters. On the right hand of the room is a nar row closet with clothes, shoes, hats, tennisracquets, and boxes bulging out of its sliding doors. Everytime I walk out of the door, I think, "Now I know what itis like to live in a closet. "。
