T:Chinese always are friendly and responsible.The goods in store are very cheap and there are many good places to travel.

C:What about the negative sides "

T: Some roads in China are too busy,and it is always overcrowded when the car accdient happened.Apart from that pollution in china is more and more serious. And there still have some problem in food safety.

3. Topic: Popularity of fast food

Situation: In recent years, fast food has been very popular in China. Western fast food restaurants like McDonald’s and KFC and Chinese style fast food restaurants like KungFuRestaurant can be seen everywhere in cities of China today. Two students are discussing the reasons of its popularity, and whether it’s better than conventional meals.

Cues: time saving, low price, balanced nutrition, vegetable, fat, deep fried (油炸)

C:As we all know ,fast food has been very popular in China.What are the main causes of

this phenomenon"

T: It can save time and spend the low price canbuy it which are the major reasons.

T:Do you like fast food"

C:No, I think the most of the fast food like deep fried food can’t provide a balanced nutrition for me.People always get fat without a balanced nutrition.

T:But it hard to say ,the fast food taste good and it dose not matter for us to eat it once a long time.Do you agree"

C:Yes i agree. So , I think it just have two sides.We should face it in a correct way.

4. Topic: Eating out

Situation: One of you is the waiter or waitress, and the other is the customer. Choose one of China’s regional cuisines (地方菜) and then role-play a conversation.
