Antigua（安提瓜岛）, Guatemala（危地马拉）is a place where time stopped three centuries ago. It is one of the most beautiful cities in Central America. In this city, you can feel what life was like in the past.

You can see buildings that people designed in the 1700s. You can walk in the streets, look at the Spanish facades (立面）, see the Cathedral of San Jose and visit the church.

I have visited this city a lot of times because I like it so much, but I will never forget my first time in this city. I was 12 years old when I first discovered the streets covered with small stones, the houses with big windows and beautiful gardens, the old buildings, the people from different cultures walking around the central park, and the natives wearing the typical multi-colored clothes and talking with the tourists trying to sell their products.

I still remember the taste of the candies from the Kona Maria Gordillo Store and the smell of hot chocolate and banana bread from the Dona Luisa Chicothencalh Restaurant.

Antigua mixes the past with the present, and I think this is one of the reasons that make people who visit this city feel delighted.

If you have the opportunity to travel to Guatemala and you want to travel back to old times, you must visit this beautiful city.
