China has a profound influence on Japanese culture
Historical records and archaeological discovers show that in the first century BC, Chinese and Japanese came into contact. From then on, the two country have been keeping in touch with each other. In the history, China has advantages over Japan in the areas of science and economy. Therefore, there is a large amount of Chinese culture adopted by Japanese. Particularly, in the Tang Dynasty, which is the most splendent dynasty in the Chinese history, China left a permanent mark on the Japanese culture. As a consequence, in the historical and modern Japanese culture, it is noticeable that China has made significant contributions to the Japanese culture in the areas of language, life habits and cartoon.
In the first place, the influence of China on Japanese language is evident. As is well-known, almost every Japanese name consists of Chinese characters. Indeed, in a sense, Japanese language words originate from Chinese characters, though their pronunciation has significant differences.
In addition to language, another important area affected by Chinese is life habits. Japanese traditional coat, kimono, has become a symbol of Japanese women. However, it is the cloth of Tang Dynasty that is transformed into the kimono. Turning to the subject of Japanese daily life, drinking tea is one of their important habits, but the tea, tea ceremony and tea sprit all dates from China.
Finally, it may be incredible that the Chinese culture also has a mark on the Japanese cartoon, which is not outstanding in China relative to the language and life habits. Some characters in the Japanese cartoon are expert at Chinese kungfu, which is one of the Chinese symbols. Moreover, there are a large number of cartoon inspired by the Journey to the West that is the most famous fairy books in China. Although the influence on cartoon is indirect, it suggests the profound influence of China.
In conclusion, in the areas of language, life habits and cartoon, China makes significant contributions to Japanese culture, regardless of the other important areas. However different Japan will be from China, the influence of China on Japanese culture is eternal.
Comment and suggestion:The ad writing employs Classic syllogism to state the influence of Chinese culture on Japanese. It is coherent and understandable, but it doesn't have enough actual examples to support the idea.
