China has a profound influence on Japanese culture

Historical records and archaeological discovers show that in the first century BC, Chinese and Japanese came into contact. From then on, the two country have been keeping in touch with each other. In the history, China has advantages over Japan in the areas of science and economy. Therefore, there is a large amount of Chinese culture adopted by Japanese. As a consequence, in the historical and modern Japanese culture, it is noticeable that China has made significant contributions to the Japanese culture in the areas of language, life habits and cartoon.
