英语中有两种语态:主动语态和被动语态。

主动语态表示主语是动作的执行者。

Many people speak Chinese. 许多人说汉语。

谓语speak的动作是由主语many people来执行的。

二、被动语态结构:be+动词的过去分词一般现在时:am / is / are +及物动词的过去分词You are wanted on the phone. 有你的电话。

一般过去时:was / were +及物动词的过去分词China was liberated in 1949.1949年中国解放。

一般将来时:will be +及物动词的过去分词The problem will be discussed tomorrow.明天将对这个问题进行讨论。

现在完成时:have / has been +及物动词的过去分词Not a book in the library has been taken away.图书馆里没有一本书被人拿走。

四、诊断测试几种特殊的被动语态(一)在主动句中,使役动词、感官动词make, see, hear, watch, notice等词后跟省略to的不定式,变被动语态时,必须还原to.1、I often see him come into the room.He often come into the room.2、The boss made the workers work all day.The workers made work all day.(二)含有双宾语的主动句改为被动句时,应将其中一个宾语改为被动语态的主语,而另一个宾语保留仍作宾语。

3.open ,close ,lock ,move ,keep 等动词常与won't ,can't ,wouldn't ,hardly ,scarcely 等连用,常用主动形式表示被动意义。

e.g. This drawer won't lock. 这个抽屉锁不上。

The car can ’t move. 这辆车动不了。

4. need /want/require/deserve/worth+ doing =need /want/require/deserve/worth to be done.这一结构中,doing 是主动形式,表被动意义。

e.g. Your hair needs cutting. = Your hair needs to be cut. 你需要剪头发了。

The house requires repairing. = The house requires to be repaired. 这栋房子需要修整。
