Unit 4 What time is it?----说课稿一、说教材(一)教材分析本课选自高等教育出版社出版的《英语基础模块》(预备级)。
本课为第四单元的第一、二课时,包括Lead-in & Listening and Speaking两部分,具体内容为:各种时间表达方式,熟悉日常生活中常见的标有时间的场所,听懂并掌握询问和回答时间的方式。
(二)教学目标:1、知识目标:学生能够阅读英语时间表,用英语谈论不同时间的节目。
2、技能目标:通过学习,学生能够辨别不同的时间表达方式,能够用正确的方式表达时间。
3、能力目标:学生运用有限的英语知识进行基本的沟通和交流。
4、文化意识:学生掌握中国人与英美国家的人们在时间表达方式。
(三)教学重难点1、教学重点:①数字、地点词汇的表达②重点词句的掌握1)What time is it?2)It’s eleven fifteen.3)It’s two to nine.4)It’s a quarter past five.2、教学难点:各种时间表达方式以及询问和回答时间的方式。
二、学情分析本单元教学重点是使学生能够阅读英语时间表,能够用正确的方式表述时间,能够用英语谈论不同时间的节目,同时通过模仿、辨别,进一步熟悉音标的正确发音。
学生对英文数字反应比较迟钝,特别是听的时候对数字的输出问题比较大。
因此在教学设计中,需要复习数字的有关知识,训练学生对数字的敏锐反应,帮助学生克服时间表达的困难。
三、说教法在教学过程中,我将采用以下几种方法来教学。
1、Warming up:通过竞赛的形式让学生进行数数比赛,既可以调动学生的学习兴趣,也可以复习数字的表达方式,为后面学习时间的表达方式奠定基础。
2、演示法:通过电化演示,增强形象化,吸引学生的学习兴趣。
3、启发式教学法:通过问题来引领学生思考、讨论,解决问题,促进学生对知识理解和掌握。
4、角色扮演法:通过模拟现实的生活情景,让学生扮演剧中的人物,进入角色,在角色扮演中学习知识,理解知识,掌握知识,从而调动学生参与的积极性,从而提高学生运用知识的能力。
