一、自我介绍

Good morning, it is really a great honor to have this opportunity for this interview. First, let me introduce myself. My name is ***** , 23. I come from Huanggang , Hubei Province. And I am currently a senior student at Three Gorges University.

My major is Information and Computing Science, which is included in College of Science. And I will receive my bachelor degree after my graduation in June. In the past 4 years, I have passed CET4/6 and also passed NCRE2/3. Besides my GPA arrived at 3.4 and ranked second. I have acquired basic knowledge of mathematics and related computer technology. But today I will select Management Science and Engineering as my future major .Because I am interested in management, especially in Financial Engineering. I have read several books about economy and management. I believe I can catch up with others and won’t give up. If I can pursue my master degree here, I will combine management with my former education.

Besides what I have introduced myself above, I also have many interests in my spare time. I like playing ping-pong, which, I think, is an effective way to improve my body health. And I also like listening to pop music because it keeps me relaxed.

I always consider that one will easily lag behind unless he keeps on learning. Of course, if I am given a chance to further education in this famous university, I will do my best to enhance my research ability, join the new group and be good at postgraduate study.

1.Introduce your hometown

My hometown is Macheng ,a old city in Hubei Province. It is famous for its azalea(杜鹃花). The valley was carpeted with azalea blossoms in April. It is spectacular and beautiful view. Every year it attract thousands of visitors to enjoy the flowers. In addition , it is

many generals’ hometown and exists lots of cultural relics. So my

hometown is a good place to travel.

2.Introduce your reason for preparing the postgraduate exam

During the past four years, I have learned a lot of professional knowledge and practical skills ,but gradually, I realize it is not enough. In my opinion, further study is actually urgent for me to realize and finally achieve self-development, especially in the competitive modern society. Therefore, I prefer to go on for further education.

3.Why do you choose to study in our department?

I am deeply impressed by the academic atmosphere when connecting to the website of your department (university). In addition, I am attracted by the University’s advantageous learning conditions, and there are many famous teachers in this college.

4.What’s your future plan(if you are enrolled )?

First I will make a systematic study plan. Of course, I will not miss a single class that is required to learn and I will finish the

after-class work arranged by my tutor on time. And if necessary , I will try to open some lectures by myself.

Second, I will find a part-time job. On the one hand, I can put what I learned into real practice. On the other hand, I can earn some pocket money and relieve my family burden.

Third, if it is possible, I may go on my study for doctorate degree after post graduation.

5.What’s your major? Do you like your major?

I major in Information and Computing Science .I like my major .because what I learned is very useful tools, for example, mathematics and related computer technology can be good to serve other major. But now I plan to select Management Science and Engineering as my future major .Because I am interested in management, especially in Financial Engineering. In addition ,this major has a very bright future in the job market.

6.What’s your favorite book?

My favorite book is Robinson Cruise. The book is about how Robinson survived on an island just by himself. He did not give up his life and hope in such bad environment. I learned from the book that no matter how difficult our life is ,we should not give up our hope and faith, and always keep strong. The present world is very competitive , but we should face it with courage and try our best to survive.
