大学英语优秀演讲稿三篇演讲稿一:大学生如何迎接挑战Ladies and gentlemen,Good afternoon everyone! I am honored to stand here today and share my thoughts on how college students can face challenges. As we all know, college is a place where we gain knowledge, make friends, and prepare for our future. However, it is also a place full of challenges. We face academic pressure, social competition, and the pressure of finding a job after graduation. Therefore, it is crucial for us to learn how to face these challenges head-on.First and foremost, we need to develop a positive mindset. When facing challenges, it is easy to feel overwhelmed or discouraged. However, a positive mindset can empower us to overcome difficulties. We should believe in ourselves and our abilities. We should remind ourselves that challenges are opportunities for growth and development.Secondly, we need to set clear goals and make plans to achieve them. Without clear goals, it is easy to get lost and lose motivation. By setting goals, we can focus our energy and efforts on what is truly important. We should break down our goals into smaller, manageable tasks, and create a timeline to ensure that we are making progress.Thirdly, we need to seek support from others. We should not face challenges alone. College is a time when we can build a strong support network. We should reach out to our friends, classmates, and professors for advice and guidance. We can also join clubs andorganizations that align with our interests and goals, where we can find like-minded individuals who can support us on our journey.Lastly, we need to be resilient and adaptable. Life is full of uncertainties, and challenges may come unexpectedly. It is important for us to be flexible and adaptable in the face of change. We should be willing to learn from failures and setbacks, and use them as stepping stones towards success. In conclusion, college life is full of challenges, but by developing a positive mindset, setting clear goals, seeking support from others, and being resilient and adaptable, we can overcome any obstacle that comes our way. Let’s embrace challenges and make the most of our college experience. Thank you.演讲稿二:大学生如何培养创新精神Ladies and gentlemen,Good morning everyone! Today, I would like to talk about how college students can cultivate an innovative spirit.Innovation is the driving force behind progress and development. In the rapidly changing world we live in, it is more important than ever for college students to foster an innovative mindset. Here are a few ways we can cultivate innovation.Firstly, we need to embrace curiosity and a thirst for knowledge. Innovation starts with a sense of wonder and a desire to explore. We should ask questions, seek answers, and never stop learning. By expanding our knowledge and understanding, we can identify problems and come up with creative solutions.Secondly, we need to be open-minded and willing to challenge the status quo. Innovation requires us to think outside the box and question conventional wisdom. We should not be afraid to challenge existing practices and propose new ideas. By embracing different perspectives and embracing diversity, we can foster a culture of innovation.Thirdly, we need to develop our problem-solving skills. Innovation is about finding solutions to complex problems. We should develop our critical thinking and analytical skills, and learn to approach problems from multiple angles. We should also be willing to take risks and learn from failures. Innovation often involves trial and error, and it is through failures that we can learn and improve.Furthermore, we should foster a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach to innovation. Innovation rarely happens in isolation. We should collaborate with others, share ideas, and draw inspiration from different disciplines. By working together, we can combine our strengths and come up with even more innovative solutions.Lastly, we should be proactive in seeking out opportunities for innovation. We should participate in research projects, attend conferences, and take advantage of internships and entrepreneurship programs. These experiences can provide us with the platform and resources to turn our ideas into reality. In conclusion, cultivating an innovative spirit is essential for college students. By embracing curiosity, challenging the status quo, developing problem-solving skills, fostering collaboration, and seeking opportunities, we can become the innovators oftomorrow. Let’s embrace innovation and make a positive impact in the world. Thank you.演讲稿三:大学生如何实现自我成长Ladies and gentlemen,Good evening everyone! Today, I would like to discuss how college students can achieve personal growth.College life is not only about studying and acquiring knowledge, but also about personal development and self-discovery. Here are a few ways we can achieve personal growth during our college years. Firstly, we need to step out of our comfort zone. Growth happens when we push ourselves beyond our limits and try new things. We should be willing to take on challenges and embrace new experiences. Whether it’s joining a club, participating in a competition, or studying abroad, stepping out of our comfort zone allows us to learn and grow in ways we never thought possible.Secondly, we need to develop our communication and interpersonal skills. College is a time when we interact with people from different backgrounds and cultures. It is important for us to learn how to communicate effectively, build relationships, and work in teams. By improving our communication skills, we can not only enhance our personal relationships, but also increase our career prospects.Thirdly, we should prioritize self-care and well-being. College life can be demanding and stressful, and it is important for us to take care of our physical and mental health. We should establish healthy habits such as regular exercise, proper nutrition, and sufficient sleep. We should also find activities that help us relaxand unwind, whether it’s reading, meditating, or pursuing a hobby. Taking care of ourselves allows us to be more productive and better equipped to handle challenges.Furthermore, we should embrace lifelong learning. College is just the beginning of our educational journey. We should cultivate a love for learning and continue to expand our knowledge and skills throughout our lives. We should take advantage of the resources available to us, such as online courses, workshops, and seminars. By being lifelong learners, we can stay relevant in a rapidly changing world and continue to grow and evolve.Lastly, we should reflect on our experiences and set goals for the future. Self-reflection allows us to gain a deeper understanding of ourselves and our values. We should take the time to reflect on our strengths, weaknesses, and aspirations. By setting goals, we can have a clear direction and purpose in life, and work towards becoming the best version of ourselves. In conclusion, college is a time for personal growth and self-discovery. By stepping out of our comfort zone, developing our communication skills, prioritizing self-care, embracing lifelong learning, and reflecting on our experiences, we can achieve personal growth and lay the foundation for a successful and fulfilling life. Let’s make the most of our college years and embrace the journey of self-improvement. Thank you.。

第1篇---Title: The Path to Personal Growth: Embracing Self-DiscoveryIntroduction:Ladies and Gentlemen,Good [morning/afternoon/evening]. It is an honor to stand before you today to discuss a topic that is deeply personal yet universally relevant: the importance of self-discovery and personal growth. As college students, we are at a pivotal point in our lives where we are not only learning about our academic subjects but also about ourselves. This journey of self-discovery is crucial for our personal and professional development.Body:Firstly, let us consider what self-discovery truly means. It is the process of gaining an understanding of our own identity, values, and beliefs. It is about recognizing our strengths and weaknesses, our passions and fears. This journey is not linear; it is often filled with twists and turns, challenges and triumphs. One of the key reasons self-discovery is so important is that it allows us to align our actions and choices with our true selves. When we know who we are, we can make more informed decisions about our education, career paths, and personal relationships. This alignment leads to greater satisfaction and success in all areas of our lives.Personal Growth:Self-discovery is closely linked to personal growth. Personal growth is the process of developing and improving ourselves. It involves learning new skills, acquiring new knowledge, and challenging our comfort zones. College provides us with a unique environment to foster personal growth through a variety of experiences, from academic challenges to extracurricular activities. Here are a few ways in which personal growth can benefit us:1. Enhanced Resilience: Through overcoming obstacles and setbacks, we learn to be more resilient and adaptable.2. Improved Communication: Engaging with diverse groups of people helps us become better communicators and listeners.3. Deeper Insight: Personal growth leads to a deeper understanding of ourselves and others, fostering empathy and compassion.Challenges of Self-Discovery:While the journey of self-discovery and personal growth is rewarding, it is not without its challenges. It can be difficult to confront our own flaws and insecurities. It can be daunting to step out of our comfort zones and try new things. However, it is through these challenges that we grow the most. Conclusion:In conclusion, self-discovery and personal growth are essential for college students. They provide us with the foundation for a fulfilling and successful life. As we navigate the complexities of college life, let us not forget to take the time to explore who we are and who we aspire to become. Embrace the challenges, celebrate the triumphs, and remember that the journey of self-discovery is a lifelong adventure.Thank you for your attention, and I hope that each of you finds the courage and determination to embark on this incredible journey of self-discovery and personal growth.---Feel free to adapt this speech to fit the specific context of your audience or the requirements of your event.第2篇Good morning/afternoon/evening. It is a great honor to stand before you today to share my thoughts on the topic of "None." This word, oftenperceived as simple or even insignificant, holds a profound meaning and can be a powerful symbol in our lives. In the English language, the word "none" can refer to the absence of something, a lack of something, or the idea of nothingness. However, I believe that "none" can also represent an opportunity for growth, a call to action, and a reminder of the importance of unity and inclusivity.Firstly, "none" signifies the absence of something. It can remind us of the voids in our lives, the things we lack, or the challenges we face. For instance, "none" can represent the absence of discrimination, inequality, or conflict. It serves as a wake-up call for us to strivefor a more equitable and peaceful world. On the other hand, "none" can also be an invitation to create something from nothing. It is the blank canvas upon which we can paint our dreams and aspirations. As students, we often find ourselves at the crossroads of opportunity and uncertainty. The word "none" can inspire us to embrace the unknown, take risks, and pursue our passions with unwavering determination.Furthermore, "none" can be a reminder of the importance of inclusivity. It can teach us that in the absence of discrimination and exclusion, we can achieve true harmony and understanding. In a diverse and interconnected world, it is crucial to recognize the value of every individual, regardless of their background or identity.Let me share a personal anecdote to illustrate the power of "none." During my high school years, I was part of a student council that aimed to address the issue of bullying in our school. We organized a series of workshops and campaigns to raise awareness about the impact of bullying. Initially, we encountered resistance from some students, who believed that bullying was an inevitable part of adolescence. However, through relentless effort and the support of the entire student body, we were able to make significant progress. Today, our school is a more inclusive and supportive environment, where "none" is no longer an option for discrimination. In conclusion, the word "none" holds a multifaceted meaning that can inspire us to embrace change, strive for a better world, and foster inclusivity. As students, we have the power to make a difference, and the word "none" can be our guiding principle in this journey.Thank you for your attention, and let us all work together to ensurethat "none" becomes a reality in our lives and in the world we share.Thank you.第3篇Good morning/afternoon/evening. It is a great honor to stand before you today to share my thoughts on the topic of "None." The word "none" may seem simple and straightforward, but it carries a profound meaning that can be applied to various aspects of our lives, including our personal growth, academic pursuits, and societal contributions.Firstly, let's consider the concept of "none" in the context of personal growth. In our lives, we often face challenges and setbacks that can leave us feeling defeated and thinking that there is "none" of a particular quality or outcome. However, it is during these moments that we have the opportunity to grow and learn. By embracing the concept of "none," we can recognize that every experience, good or bad, is a chance to learn and improve ourselves. In doing so, we can overcome the notion that "none" is a definitive end and instead view it as a stepping stone to success. In the realm of academia, "none" can also hold significant meaning. As students, we are constantly striving to excel in our studies, and sometimes we may feel that we have "none" of the necessary skills or knowledge to achieve our goals. But this perception should not discourage us. Instead, it should motivate us to seek out resources, collaborate with peers, and work tirelessly to bridge the gaps in our knowledge. Remember, "none" is not a permanent state, but rather a temporary condition that can be altered through dedication and perseverance.Furthermore, the concept of "none" can be applied to our societal contributions. In a world where resources are finite and challenges are numerous, it is easy to believe that "none" of the efforts we make will have a lasting impact. However, even the smallest actions can contribute to a larger cause. By focusing on our individual strengths and using them to make a difference, we can collectively create a world where "none" becomes a thing of the past.To illustrate the power of "none," let me share a short story. Once upon a time, in a small village, there was a child who believed that he had "none" of the talent to become a great artist. He was often told that his drawings were not as beautiful as those of his peers. Despite these setbacks, the child continued to practice and improve his skills. Years later, he became a renowned artist whose work inspired countless people. This story teaches us that "none" is not a limit but rather a starting point for greatness. In conclusion, the word "none" should not be viewed as a discouragement but as a call to action. Whether it is in our personal growth, academic pursuits, or societal contributions, we must remember that "none" is not a definitive end but a temporary state that can be overcome. By embracing challenges, seeking opportunities to learn and grow, and contributing to the greater good, we can transform "none" into something extraordinary.Thank you for your attention, and I hope that my words have inspired you to embrace the concept of "none" and make a positive impact in your own lives and the world around you.Thank you.。

众所周知参加高考是每个人一生中最重要的事情之一。
当然,高中生肯定得承受很大的压力。
所以,如何在考前以及考后看待这个考试是很重要的。
我的观点如下。
first of all, keeping a good life attitude is helpful for college entrance exam. as everyone regards it as so important and students themselves also put so much effort on it, they are surely stressful when it is coming. some cannot fall asleep, some cannot think, and some cannot memorize things well because they are too nervous. as a result, they may not perform well in the exam. however, if they can keep a usual mind, they maybe at their best to get a good mark.首先,保持良好的生活态度有助于高考。

大学生英语口语演讲稿1law opened the bottom drawer of my sisters bureau and lifted out a tissue-wrapped package. this, he said, is not a slip. this is lingerie. he discarded the tissue and handed me the slip.it was exquisite, silk, handmade and trimmed with a cobweb of lace. the price tag with an astronomical figure on it was still attached.jan bought this the first time we went to new york, at least 8 or 9 years ago. she never wore it. she was saving it for a special occasion.well, i guethis is the occasion.he took the slip from me and put it on the bed, with the other clothes we were taking to the mortician. his hands lingered on the soft material for a moment, then he slammed the drawer shut and turned to me, dont ever save anything for a special occasion. every day you re alive is a special occasion.i remembered those words through the funeral and the days that followed when i helped him and my niece attend to all the sad chores that follow an unexpected death. i thought about them on the plane returning to california from the midwestern town where my sisters family lives. i thought about all the things that she hadnt seen or heard or done. i thought about the things that she had done without realizing that they were special.im still thinking about his words, and theyve changed the weeds in the garden. im spending more time with my family and friends and letime in committee meetings. whenever possible, life should be a pattern of experience to savour, not endure. im trying to recognize these moment now and cherish them.im not saving anything; we use our good china and crystal for every special. event such as losing a pound, getting the sink unstopped, the first camellia blossom… i wear my good blazer to the market if i feel like it. my theory is if i look prosperous, i can shell out $28. 49 for one small bag of groceries without wincing. im not saving my good perfume for special parties; clerks in hardware stores and tellers in banks have noses that function as well as my party going friends.someday and one of these days are losing their grip on my vocabulary. if its worth seeing or hearing or doing, i want to see and hear and do it now. im not sure what my sister wouldve done had she know that she wouldnt be here for the tomorrow we all take for granted.i think she would have called family members and a few close friends. she might have called a few former friends to apologize, and mend fences for past squabbles. i like to think she would have gone out for a chinese dinner, her favorite food. im guessing. ill never know.its those little things left undone that would make me angry if i knew that my hours were limited. angry because i put off seeing good friends whom i was going to get in touch with someday. angry because i hadnt written certain letters that i intended to write one of these days. angry and sorry that i didnt tell my husband and daughter often enough how much i truly love them.im trying very hard not to put off, hold back, or save anything that would add laughter and luster to our lives. and every morning when i open my eyes, i tell myself that every day, every minute, every breath truly, is... a gift from god.thank you for giving me this opportunity to improve my oral english. thank you大学生英语口语演讲稿2Students, guests , teachers and Honorable JudgesGood morning !my great pleasure to share my dream with you today. my dream is to become ateacher....As the whole world has its boundaries, limits and freedom coexist in ourlife. Its my great honor to stand here. As you know, there is a kind of beauty, it can make the person surprise, it make the person enjoy in retrospect. It is gorgeous and spectacular. There is a kind of beauty, it brings the intense emotion to life. It brings the sweetto life. This kind of beauty is the beauty of harmonious. Well, this is my todays topic:A harmonious campus.Harmonious, is one of the most popular words in the society at the present time. Now our governments are advocating building harmonious society. But what is harmonious? I looked it up in the dictionary. It says “in agreement, free from ill feeling.”In some schools, there are a lot of problems. For instance, teachers do not have patience with students, some ever shout at them. Students fall in sleep during the class. Play truant is widespread. Cutter languages are often heard.Campus, which is of course one part of the project, plays an essential role in the society. If we want to build a harmonious society, first we should build a harmonious campus, and get rid of those problems. To a harmonious school, the surrounding is very important. On our campus, coconut trees growed line on the road. The green grass is the always fine spring day. The various flowers and trees are the beautiful scenery, the green outside the classroom show its grave to the students. When the students are walking around the campus, their bodies and minds are pleasant. If we think of the harmonious campus as a tree, then the harmonious environment is the leaves of the tree. The good human relation of campus is the root.Only the campus with good human relationships can be called a harmonious campus.A harmonious campus has a harmonious relationship between teachers and students. Teacher, which is the person who teaches you knowledge, should be respect by us. We should cherish teachers pays, respect their works. Thus we can create a harmonious study atmosphere.A harmonious campus also needs a good relationship among students. We should help those who have problems, and get along with them. Thus to create a harmonious social relationship.Bring hope to the helplessness, bring power to the young, bring light to the blind, and bring confidence to the weak. Our campus is a harmonious campus: it is a family of us all.大学生英语口语演讲稿4Ladies and Gentlemen, Good morning! The little girl was interested in playing the swing but didn’t dare to try. The mother encouraged her by saying, “Come on, baby! I believe you can do it! Believe in yourself!” With her mother’s encouragement, the girl finally climbed onto the swing. “Yeah! I can do it! Mum, he lp me fly higher!” she cried happily, and her laughter filled the air. I see that self-confidence is a key factor in problem-solving. With self-confidence, I can overcome difficulties. With self-confidence, I can surpass limits. With self-confidence, I can go beyond myself. Here, ladies and gentle, allow me to share with you my experience. I love English and now, I can stand on this stage to express my ideas in English. But when I first entered into the college, I was such a shy boy that I couldn’t speak Ch inese fluently in the crowd, let alone show my English in public. In the second school year, I was assigned to be one of the hosts at an English Competition. I had no experience in hosting at that time so it was really a challenge to me. I didn’t know what to say, and even how to step on the stage? However, I decided to take the assignment since after 2-year of English study, I became more confident in myself. Also, teachers’ remarks encouraged me, “If you are not self-confident, it is impossible to make others believe in you. If you cannot go beyond your limits, it is impossible to make any improvement.” I accomplished the task at last, and the success confirms to myself that I can go beyond my limits. I can surpass myself. Yes, I can. With self-confidence, one is not sure to win, but without self-confidence, one will lose for sure. Today, Standing here, participating in this competition, for me it is also a challenge. AmI sure to win the first prize? To tell the truth, not really. University days are the best part of them. I can never forget the days when I stepped into my university. I was impressed by its garden-like campus, its enthusiastic students and especially its learning atmosphere. I at once fell in love with it.After the arduous military training, I get absolutely absorbed in my studies. The classes given by the teachers are excellent. They provide us with information not only from our textbooks but from many other sources as well. They easily arouse my insatiable desire to take in as much as I can.Frankly speaking, at first I had some difficulty following the teachers. However, through my own efforts and thanks to my teachers guidance, I made remarkable progress. Now Ive benefited a lot from lectures and many other academic reports.Learning is a long process; Ill keep exploring in the treasure house of knowledge to enrich myself. This summer I got out of the ivory tower and entered the real world. A publishing house offered me a part-time job in compilation and revision. At the beginning I was belittled by my colleagues. But they were really surprised when I translated seven English articles over 5,000 words on only one day. Gradually, they began to look at me with respectful eyes. In their opinion I turned out to be a useful and trustworthy colleague.I also realize that only those who bring happiness for others can be truly happy. So I often take part in activities concerning public welfare. I once went to a barren mountain village with my classmates. We taught the kids there who could not afford school. While showing them how broad and how civilized the outer world is, I was deeply touched by their eagerness to learn, their honesty and their purity. I couldnt control my tears on the day when we left. The precious experience with the poor kids made me aware of the responsibility on the shoulders of us, future teachers.Besides study and social practice, there are entertainments as well. I do body building every day, hoping to keep healthy and energetic. We also write a play and put it on in our spare time.Campus life is the most splendid time. But different people have different choices. The majority of students cherish their beautiful season and cherish the hope that one day theyll become outstanding. But there are indeed some students still under ignorance. They gather together for eating, drinking or playing cards. Theyre busy in searching for a girlfriend or a boyfriend. They forget completely about their mission as college students and the hope of their motherland. Finally, I do hope everybody can try their best to become a worthy citizen of the country. I do hope everybody can become the backbone of our nation and make great contributions to society!。

大学生活的英语演讲稿(精选篇1)After entering college,we found,to our surprise, that differences between high school life and college life are great. In high school,we always depended on our parents and teachers to solve all kinds of difficult problems. At college, however,we have to rely exclusively on ourselves.Whats more,we have to learn how to get along with our classmates and roommates.Four years at college is an important yet very short period of time in our life.So it is always expected that we adapt to this life as quickly as possible. But it is a pity that not everyone can do so immediately. Here are some suggestions.First, get familiar with the main buildings on the campus.Spend one or two hours by yourself or with your classmates to go around the campus so that you can know the location of such important places as the library, the dining room, the post office, the clinic and classrooms.Next, try to be independent.Learn to do such things as making sound decisions on how to spend your time, how to spend your money etc,and washing clothes on your own.Furthermore, form good study habits.Talk with your classmates and learn from their good habits. Finally, try to take part in all kinds of activities to get out of your solitude and get on well with your classmates.大学生活的英语演讲稿(精选篇2)With time goes by,it becomes a bit hard for me to remember everything about myself at the first day of my college life. However, there was one thing for sure that I did feel quite excited and curious about my university. There is no doubt that students like me have struggled for a long time so that can be permitted to enter the university.Bringing with expectation,I got into Zhejiang GongshangUniversity.Generally speaking,it's an interesting and fantastic placefor us to study and live in.Every day a series of outgoing people get into my eyesight.Curious and out of politeness,I'd talk to them heart to heart. Here I make friends with my new classmates from everywhere around China. What's more, time and weather permitting,I will enjoy jogging or playing basketball with my classmates on the playground, tired but happy. When staying in dormitory,I choose to read news online and sometimes watch a film for relaxing. However,a good student can never leave his study behind. When it comes to study, hard problems never upset me,instead they arouse me.Rather than ignoring it,I'd think carefully for a while and ask my classmates for help.To be honest, there are some things I don’t deal with properly. For instance, once I spent nearly a whole day playing computergames.Personally,we university students are already adults and it's our obligation to develop ourselves in college by learning new professional skills. Not until we take a right attitude towards our study and life can we win a rich and colorful experience in college.大学生活的英语演讲稿(精选篇3)I am so looking forward to my college life.I have pictured it thousands of times in my mind. The free lifestyle and lively parties are always appearing my mind. The great expectation of campus life endows me a lot of passion to keep study. After two years’study,I would find my lifestyle. The first thing for me is to learn more knowledge. Most students find a way to release themselves and skip or sleep in the class. They think study is just the task,so they give up improving themselves and take part in all kinds of activities, which bring them great joy.The wrong conception about college stage makes most students miss the best time to equip themselves with skills.I realize my job and dare not to loose study. The second thing for me to learn is to make friends by joining activities.I am a shy girl, but inside my heart,I am so eager to make more friends,so I choose to join many activities in the spared time.I learn dancing andplaying tennis. The lucky thing is that I know many nice people and we become good friends, who make my college colorful.大学生活的英语演讲稿(精选篇4)It has been two years since I first got to university. Some of my classmates say that the college life is boring, because they have plenty of time but do not know what to do.However, from my point of view, the campus life in college is interesting and colorful as long as you make it meaningful. In the first semester in college,I didnt relax and I still worked hard as I was in the senior school.I usually spent two hours in study at night and I went to the classroom forautonomous learning. But the difference is that I have many extracurricular activities. For example,I went to the English Corner regularly on Tuesday night,in which I could practice my spoken English and make friends with common interests.Besides,I join the Student Union of my department. In the Student Union,I have a group of workmates who work hard together and support to each other.Actually,it looks like a big, warm family that we can share our lives together.During various activities,I realize the importance of team spirit that helps us go further. Finally, college is great stage to improve a student and show ones abilities. In college,I know more about our society and get more channels to explore the outside world.I realize that I am not only a student but also an adult who is preparing to step into the society. In short,I cherish my life in college campus and I will try hard to make it colorful as well as meaningful.大学生活的英语演讲稿7Hello everyone.Today I'm glad to be here to give a speech about my fresh experience in China Agriculture University.First I must say the campus life is really different from what I have experienced in high school. For instance,I used to lean upon my dormitory teacher to wake me up on time. But now I have to set several alarm clocksto make myself could hear them in the morning.otherwise,I would miss my class. And then even worse there would be nobody remind me except my teacher! So the differences are everywhere and I could easily find them. The change of life is great and it's wonderful:I have more time of my own and the rights to decide how I live.My campus activities are rich and colorful.Learning English has become a habit to me cause I plan to study abroad in next few years.Playing Guzheng is my favorite activity.I have kept on practising it since I was a little girl and I wish to win more competitions in my campus life. Our university has the first level equipments and the most experienced teachers, also has the best students(laugh).I consider it to be a honor that I've got a chance to study here and I sincerely hope that we could live wonderful lives in our campus!。

大学生经典英语演讲稿3篇1my definition of successtoday i am very glad to be here to share with you my ideas of success. what is success? it is what everyone is longing for.sometimes success would be rather simple. winning a game is success; getting a high grade in the exam is success; making a new friend is success; even now i amstanding here giving my speech is somehow also success.however, as a person’s whole life is concerned, success becomes verycomplicated. is fortune success? is fame success? is high social status success? no, i don’t think so. i believe success is the realization of people’s hopes and ideals.nowadays, in the modern society there are many peoplewho are regarded as the successful. and the most obvious characteristics of hem are money, high position and luxurious life. so most people believe that s success and all that they do is for this purpose. but the problem is wether it is real success. we all know there are always more money, higher position and better condition in front of us. if we keep chasing them, where is the end? what will satisfy us at last? therefore, we can see, to get the real success we must need something inside, which is therealization ofpeople’ hopes and ideals.different people have different ideas about success; cause people’s hopes and ideas vary from one another. but i am sure every success is dear to everybody, cause it is not easy to come by, cause in the process of our striving for success, we got both our body and soul tempted, meanwhile we are enlightened by the most valuable qualities of human beings: love, patient, courage and sense of responsibility. these are the best treasures. so now i am very proud that i have this opportunity to stand here speaking to all of you. it is my success, cause i raise up to challenge my hope.what is success? everyone has his own interpretation as i do. but i am sureevery success leads to an ever-brighter future. so ladies and gentlemen, believe in our hopes, believe in ourselves, we, every one of us, can make asuccessful life!i have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed-we hold theses truths to be self-oevident, that all men are created equal. i have a dream that one day on the red hills of georgia, sons of former slaves and sons of former slave owners will be able to sit together at the table of brotherhood. i have a dream my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. i have a dream today! when we allow freedom to ring, when we let it ring from every village and hamlet, from every state and city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of god’s children-black men and white men , jews and gentiles, catholics andprotestants-will be able to join hands and to sing in the words of the o ld negro spiritual, “free at least ,free at last . thank god almighty, we are free at last.”大学生经典英语演讲稿3篇2I believe in our futureHonorable Judges, fellow students:Good afternoon!Recently, there is a heated debate in our society. The college students are the beneficiaries of a rare privilege, who receive exceptional education at extraordinary places. But will we be able to face the challenge and support ourselves against all odds? Will we be able to better the lives of others? Will we be able to accept the responsibility of building the future of our country? The cynics say the college students are the pampered lost generation, which would cringe at the slightest discomfort. But the cynics are wrong. The college students I see are eagerly learning about how to live independently. We help each other clean the dormitory, go shopping and bargain together, and take part time jobs to supplement our pocket money. The cynics say we care for nothing other than grades; and we neglect the need for character cultivation. But again, the cynics are wrong. We care deeply for each other, we cherish freedom, we treasure justice, and we seek truth. Last week, thousands of my fellow students had their blood type tested in order to make a contribution for the children who suffer from blood cancer. As college students, we are adolescents at the critical turning point in our lives. We all face a fundamental choice: cynicism or faith, each will profoundly impact our future, or even the future of our country. I believe in all my fellow classmates. Though we are still inexperienced and even a little bit childish. I believe thatwe have the courage and faith to meet any challenge and take on our responsibilities. We are preparing to assume new responsibilities and tasks, and to use the education we have received to make our world a better place. I believe in our future. 大学生经典英语演讲稿3篇3Independence Day 20xx SpeechGood morning India!Today on 15th August 20xx India is celebrating its 67th Independence Day, and we Indians are proud to say we have owned our freedom 67 years old back. As we gather here today I take the opportunity to congratulate every student and teacher of this School/college a Happy Independence Day! I also take the opportunity of welcoming you our chief guest for today! We have assembled here to celebrate our 67th Independence Day. As a citizen of India, I am so proud to talk to you about my mother India. On the night of August 14, 1947, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru rose to make a maiden speech in New Delhi, “When the world sleeps, India will wake to life and freedom.” Yes, India became free from the bondage of British rule. Now, India is the largest democratic country in the world. The country’s strength is to find, “Unity in diversity”. But, there are stray incidents that test her secularism but the people of India are ready to sacrifice anything for the cause of unity. Today we remember the great leaders who gave their lives for the nation’s freedom and prosperity. Dr. B.R.Ambedkar gave the longest written constitution to us. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru worked for an industrialized India. Gandhi Ji taught us Ahimsa and Non-violence. Subash Chandra Bose inducted courage in us. Swami Vivekanand gave us spiritual power. Yes, with these contributions; India will be the super power in the coming years. Our former President Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam called the children of India to dream to build a strong Nation with aim and perseverance. Indeed! This is not a word of a single man. It is word of one billionsouls.Jai Hind!。

大学英语演讲稿(精选12篇)大学英语演讲稿篇1Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen:Today I would like to begin with a story. There was once a physical therapist who traveled all the way from America to Africa to do a census about mountain gorillas. These gorillas are a main attraction to tourists from all over the world; this put them severely under threat of poaching and being put into the zoo. She went there out of curiosity, but what she saw strengthened her determination to devote her whole life to fighting for those beautiful creatures. She witnessed a scene, a scene taking us to a place we never imaged we've ever been, where in the very depth of the African rainforest, surrounded by trees, flowers and butterflies, the mother gorillas cuddled their babies.Yes, that's a memorable scene in one of my favorite movies, called Gorillas in the Mist, based on a true story of Mrs. Diana Fossey, who spent most of her lifetime in Rwanda to protect the ecoenvironment there until the very end of her life.To me, the movie not only presents an unforgettable scene but also acts as a timeless reminder that we should not develop the tourist industry at the cost of our eco-environment.Today, we live in a world of prosperity but still threatened by so many new problems. On the one hand, tourism, as one of the most promising industries in the 21st century, provides people with the great opportunity to see everything there is to see and to go any place there is to go. It has become a lifestyle for some people, and has turned out to be the driving force in GDP growth. It has the magic to turn a backward town into a wonderland of prosperity. But on the other hand, many problems can occur - natural scenes aren't natural anymore. Deforestation to heat lodges are devastating Nepal. Oil spills from tourist boats are polluting Antarctica. Tribal people are forsaking their native music and dress to listen to U2 on Walkman and wear Nike and Reeboks. All these appalling facts have brought us to the realization that we can no longer stand by and do nothing, because the very thought of it has been eroding our resources. Encouragingly, the explosive growth of global travel has put tourism again in the spotlight, which is why the United Nations has made 20xx the year of ecotourism, for the first time to bring to the world's attention the benefits of tourism, but also its capacity to destroy our ecoenvironment. Now every year, many local ecoenvironmental protection organizations are receiving donations - big notes, small notes or even coins - from housewives, plumbers, ambulance drivers, salesmen, teachers, children and invalids. Some of them cannot afford to send the money but they do. These are the ones who drive the cabs, who nurse in hospitals, who are suffering from ecological damage in their neighborhood. Why? Because they care. Because they still want their Mother Nature back. Because they know it still belongs to them. This kind of feeling that I have, ladies and gentlemen, is when it feels like it, smells like it, and looks like it , it's all coming from a scene to be remembered, a scene to recall and to cherish. The other night, as I saw the moon linger over the land and before it was sent into the invisible, my mind was filled with songs. I found myself humming softly, not to the music, but to something else, someplace else, a place remembered, a place untouched, a field of grass where no one seemed to have been except the deer. And no matter who we are, what we do and where we go, in our minds, there's always a scene to remember, a scene worth our effort to protect it and fight for it.Thank you very much.大学英语演讲稿篇2In my 18 years of life, there have been many things. This summer I got out of the ivory tower and entered the real world. A publishing house offered me a part'time job in compilation and revision. I couldn't control my tears on the day when we left. The majority of students cherish their beautiful season and cherish the hope that one day they'll become outstanding. But there are indeed some students still under ignorance. They gather together for eating, drinking or playing cards. They're busy in searching for a girlfriend or a boyfriend. They forget completely about their mission as college students and the hope of their motherland. Finally, I do hope everybody can try their best to become a worthy citizen of the country. I do hope everybody can become the backbone of our nation and make great contributions to society!大学英语演讲稿篇3We are going to celebrate the 60th anniversary of our motheland.Being astudent in China,I feel very happy and proud. With the teachers and parents help,we make great progress every day.We are growing up together with ourmotherland. With our knowledge and ability, I am sure we will do greatcontribution to the country.Thank to the motherland,we are going to be strongerand stronger. The future for us must be bright and hopeful.Lets try hard forourselves, and for our motherland as well.I hope a kid, hope full eyesjade-green grass, free of mind and happy of heart in the heart, also from had aregrets.Regardless nature of the boon grant still mankind of creation, naturegive we abundant of imagination and infinite pure and endless Xia think, although they be small but solidify one heart, they mutually hold to hug to eachother, under the nourish of the earth, full exertive solidify one coagulate ofheart dint, also give nature one Wen Run4 of green space.Year by year, thespring return to the earth again, it may be said"the prairie fire burn not toexert, the spring breeze blow and living", grass with it special stubborn, walkthrough the four seasons.Although it have no floriferous fragrance, take lightnice and secluded;Although it dont have Gao Da4 of tree, seem to be so ofinsignificant, it be not small but shame, it optimism upward, creator green ofvast one, it dont account repay useful green display whole of the earth.Thelovely grass, I appreciate you, you are to use you of of offer, use you of timechange oneself of new looks, also change peoples viewpoint toyou.Althoughsometimes blow to kiss in the bise bottom, you would be tinily low to fall ahead, however you just trembled to fall the dust of body, face strongly, the Aosign a ground of outstanding on the mud.You dont have too many Diao decorationand have no clamor of city and car bearer to of prosperous, but have groundsmile to face a kid especially, face what you face each have life of person, passion life, life medium of people also love grass of smile, because have youin the life of open-minded state of mind and optimism of attitude, there is alsobright and beautiful sunlight.Although sometimes perhaps would be continuous torain, brought the grass of light green excessive of bother, moist withaccumulate water, total have sunlight of reappear. The spring breeze doesnt smellsoil, the grass had again thriving of source of vitality, grass at morning ofthemorning Lou once more let us suck to absorb and make our moods receivebenefit to dulcify with joys quick. The grass of , love of offer, make nothingexciting of life become Chong Ying;Grass, the big-hearted state of mind relax,it didnt need to be cover up, is a contented fully enjoy body interest;Grass, because of love but the United States, it be some and a little more careless tolove to tolerate, rational, but touched the persons in the mind. The burst oflight breeze is blow and the childrens joys voice joke awakenned my thoughts andfeelings. In awakely and the dim moonlight, originally the persons life not isalso such as grass similar infinitesimal, but it use original of gentleness, affecting characteristic, like gaudiness of grass of flexible jade-green.Thegrain of life, give hope, grateful, taste, vitality, although sometimes verytired, own life of aureole happiness to end.大学英语演讲稿篇4Whether there's afterlife, the answer has never been the same. The atheists deny after life, believing that our life is no more than from the cradle to the grave. They may care about their illustrious names after death; they may feel attached to the affection of their offspring, but they never lay their hopes on their afterlife. They may also say that good will be rewarded with good, and evil with evil, but they don't really believe any retribution in their after life. However, in the religious world or among the superstitious people, the belief in afterlife is very popular. They do not only believe in afterlife, but thousands of reincarnations as well. In the mysterious world, there are the paradise and the hell, the celestial beings and the gods, the Buddha and the Bodhisattvas.Maybe they really believed it, or maybe they just wanted to make use of people's veneration, the ancient emperors always declared that they were the real dragons, the sons of God, while the royal ministers claimed to be the reincarnations of various constellations. But can the stars reincarnate? Many people burn incense and kowtow, do good deeds and strive for virtues, not just for the present, but mainly to let God see their sincerity so as to be reborn into a better afterlife, or to achieve the highest enlightenment after several lives of practice. They do believe in afterlife. But I can't help asking: Suppose there were no afterlife, would you still do good deeds and strive for virtues? And If God does not see what you are doing, would you still be so upright and selfless? If you work, not for serving the public and liberating the others, but just for a better afterlife of your own, isn't it a little too selfish? Comparing with this kind of believers, those who don't believe in afterlife, but still keep doing good deeds, are the most sincere and honest philanthropists, because they do them not for themselves but for other. You may wonder if I believe in afterlife. My answer is: I know nothing about my previous life, so I dare not make improper comments on afterlife. But I do hope there's afterlife! Because our present life is so short that so many things slip away before our proper understanding. I have so many dreams, so many wishes, so many ambitions, as well as so many regrets and concerns. If there were no afterlife, all of them will remain unrealized!I'm not contented with the present commonplace life, I'm very much attached to the affections that should have been mine but have been washed away by thehurrying time, and I yearn for the perfection and maturity if I could start all over again. So believe it or not, I'd rather there were afterlife.大学英语演讲稿篇5How to Be PopularMost people would like to be popular with others, but not everyone can achieve this goal. What is the secret to popularity? In fact, it is very simple. The first step is to improve our appearance. We should always make sure that we stayin good shape and dress well. When we are healthy and well-groomed, we will not only look better but also feel better. In addition, we should smile and appear friendly. After all, our facial expression is an important part of our appearance. If we can do this, people will be attracted to our good looks and impressed by our confidence.Another important step is developing more consideration for others. We should always put others first and place their interests before our own. It's also important to be good listeners; in this way people will feel comfortable enough to confide in us. However, no matter what we do, we must not gossip. Above all, we must remember to be ourselves, not phonies. Only by being sincere and respectfulof others can we earn their respect. If we can do all of the above, I am sure popularity will come our way.如何才能受人欢迎大部分的人都想受人欢迎,但是并非每个人都能达到目标。

It is a great honor to stand before you today and share my thoughts on the topic of "Embracing Challenges and Opportunities in the Era of College Life." College life is a crucial period in our lives, where we transition from adolescence to adulthood. It is a time when we encounter numerous challenges and opportunitiesthat shape our future. In this speech, I will discuss the importance of embracing these challenges and opportunities, and how they contribute to our personal and professional growth.Firstly, let us acknowledge the challenges that college life brings. As we step into this new phase, we are exposed to a diverse range of subjects, cultures, and perspectives. This exposure can sometimes be overwhelming, and it is essential to adapt to this new environment. One of the primary challenges is the academic pressure. College courses are more rigorous, and the expectations are higher. This can be daunting for many students, but it is crucial to remember that we are not alone inthis journey. We have professors, mentors, and peers who are willing to support us.Another significant challenge is the transition from high school to college life. Many students find it difficult to manage their time effectively, balance academic responsibilities with social activities, and maintain a healthy lifestyle. It is essential to develop time management skills, prioritize tasks, and seek help when needed. Moreover, college life demands us to be more independent and self-reliant. We must learn to make decisions, take responsibility for our actions, and handle failures and setbacks. Now, let us explore the opportunities that college life offers. One of the most significant opportunities is the chance to broaden our horizons. College is a melting pot of cultures, ideas, and experiences. We havethe opportunity to meet people from different backgrounds, engage in meaningful conversations, and learn from their perspectives. Thisexposure not only enriches our lives but also prepares us for the diverse workforce we will encounter in the future.Furthermore, college life provides us with numerous opportunities to develop our skills and talents. We can participate in clubs, organizations, and extracurricular activities that interest us. These activities help us to build leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. Moreover, we can pursue internships, part-time jobs, or volunteer work that align with our career aspirations. These experiences not only enhance our resumes but also allow us to gain practical knowledge and insights into our chosen fields. One of the most crucial opportunities that college life offers is the opportunity for self-discovery. As we navigate through the challenges and opportunities, we learn more about ourselves. We discover our passions, interests, and strengths. This self-awareness is vital for our personal growth and career development. It allows us to make informed decisions about our future and pursue careers that align with our values and aspirations. In conclusion, college life is filled with challenges and opportunities that shape our future. It is essential to embrace these challenges and opportunities with an open mind and a positive attitude. By doing so, we can overcome obstacles, develop our skills, and prepare ourselves for the professional world. To the incoming college students, I want to offer some words of advice. First, be curious and open-minded. Embrace the diversity of cultures and ideas that college life offers. Second, be proactive and take advantage of the opportunities available to you. Join clubs, organizations, and activities that interest you. Third, be resilient and learn from your failures. Mistakes are stepping stones to success. Lastly, be true to yourself and pursue your passions. In the end, college life is a journey, and it is up to us to make the most of it. Let us embrace the challenges and opportunities that come our way, and let us grow into the remarkable individuals that we are destined to be.Thank you for your attention.第2篇Ladies and gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon/evening. Similarly, we left this world at the time, it will also be left with their own dreams. Our dream is also more and more content, more and more rich. One can not forget that book title mountain crossing the sea during the day and night; not forget that the coexistence of a bitter years of joy; not forget that a bit more earnest remainding respectable mentor taught ... ...The face of the past, we open their minds and hearts of the door, bathed in sunlight to accept and listen to exhort the time, we dream of flying. Is to achieve the dream of the cornerstones of long-term vision; the dream is the beginning of the power savings; dream world is a necessary condition for rational; dream Qijia country is the premise of the world is flat. To this end, the respect of ethics, education can be clearly responsible for, love. Goodbye dear land, we have our dreams, we all need to face new.The rudder has been the fate into their own hands, taking their own route. Believe in yourself and you work hard, must be clear after dark. To do the masters of time, for every seconds, when the ship set sail hard, you are ready? Show your style and create brilliant tomorrow. said that the sky did not leave traces of the birds, but I have been over. Is an eagle, it is necessary to fly across the sky, is a tree, it is necessary to cast a time, the courage to go flying, the courage to go into, you dream of flying, I believe you will be more brilliant tomorrow, tomorrow you will be more exciting.Cherish the present, should grasp the opportunity.Friends, the dream of flying now, let us gather in the glory of that day.大学英语演讲稿篇二Good morning ladies and gentlemen:The title of my speech today is “The Doors that Are Open to Us ”.The other day my aunt paid me a visit. She was overjoyed. “I got the highe st mark in the mid-term examination!” she said. Don't be surprised! My aunt is indeed a student; to be exact, a college student at the age of 45.Last year, she put aside her private business and signed up for a one-year, full-time management course in a c ollege. “This was the wisest decision I have ever made,” she said proudly like a teenage girl. To her, college is always a right place to pick up new ideas, and new ideas always make her feel young.“Compared with the late 70s,” she says, “now college stud ents have many doors.” My aunt cannot help but recall her first college experience in 1978when college doors began to be re-opened after the Cultural Revolution. She was assigned to study engineering despite her desire to study Chinese literature, and a few years later, the government sent her to work in a TV factory.I was shocked when she first told me how she (had) had no choice in her major and job. Look at us today! So many doors are open to us! I believe there have never been such abundant opportunities for self-development as we have today. And my aunt told me that we should reach our goals by grasping all these opportunities. The first door I see is the opportunity to study different kinds of subjects that interest us. My aunt said she was happy to study management, but she was also happy that she could attend lectures on ancient Chinese poetry and on Shakespearean drama. As for myself, I am an English major, but I may also go to lectures on history. To me, if college education in the past emphasized specialization, now, it emphasizes free and well-rounded development of each individual. So all the fine achievements of human civilization are open to us.The second door is the door to the outside world. Learning goes beyond classrooms and national boundaries. My aunt remembers her previous college days as monotonous and even calls her generation “frogs in a well.” But today, as the world becomes a global village, it is important that our neighbors and we be open-minded to learn with and from each other. I have many fellow international classmates, and I am applying to an exchange program with a university abroad. As for my aunt, she is planning to get an MBA degree in the United Kingdom where her daughter, my cousin, is nowdoing her master's degree in biochemistry. We are now taking the opportunity to study overseas, and when we come back, we'll put to use what we have learnt abroad. The third door is the door to lifelong learning. As new ideas appear all the time, we always need to acquire new knowledge, regardless of our age. Naturally, my aunt herself is the best example. Many of my aunt's contemporaries say that she is amazingly up-to-date for a middle-aged woman. She simply responds,“Age doesn't matter. What matters is your attitude. You may think it's strange that I am still going to college, but I don't think I'm too old to learn.”Yes, she is right. Since the government removed the age limit for college admissions in 20xx, there are already some untraditional students, sitting with us in the same classrooms. Like these people, my aunt is old but she is very young in spirit. With her incredible energy and determination, she embodies both tradition and modernity. The doors open to us also pose challenges. For instance, we are faced with the challenge of a balanced learning, the challenge of preserving our fine tradition while learning from the West, and the challenge of learning continuously while carrying heavy responsibilities to our work and family. So, each door is a test of our courage, ability and judgment, but with the support of my teachers, parents, friends and my aunt, I believe I can meet the challenge head on. When I reach my aunt's age, I can be proud to say that I have walked through dozens of doors and will, in the remainder of my life, walk through many more. Possibly I will go back to college, too.Thank you very much, ladies and gentlemen.大学生英语演讲稿篇三Who was the most well-known figure in China last month? It’s Ma JiaJue—the college student who murdered 4 of his roommates. Many people attributed his crime to his poverty and deficient education. In my opinion, his crime also has much to do with his classmates’ indifference.Indifference is a terrible disease in today’s colleges and the whole society. It’s not rare that two students who hav e studied together for 4 years have never spoken to each other. It’s not rare that a student who has been absent from class for several days is not noticed at all. It’s also not rare that a student who has severe psychological problems is not cared about at all. Some people may say ‘What the students with psychological problems like Ma JiaJue need is not care but psychotherapy.” However, when people are ill, what they need most is not only medical treatment, but also care from people around them. Every smile and every caring word will bring sunshine to their life.I once heard one of my roommates who was an introverted girl sobbing at mid-night. Being afraid of disturbing her, I sent a text message to comfort her. The next day, she told me that she was crying for not being invited to one of her friend’s birthday party. She thought she was neglected by others. But my message was really comforting which told her someone still cared about her. What can we do to prevent the tragedy of Ma JiaJue from happening again? Some people may say ‘Let’s open more psychological courses in schools.’ and other people may say ‘Let’s donate more money for the poor students.’ But I’ll say “My fellow student, let’s give more love and care to our roommates, our classmates and e very person around us!”大学生英语演讲稿篇四Honorable Judges, fellow students: Recently, ther is a heated debate in our society. I believe that we have the courage and faith to meet any challenge and take on our responsibilities. We are preparing to assume newresponsibilities and tasks, and to use the education we have received to make our world a better place. I believe in our future.尊敬的评委,各位同学:最近,社会上有一场很激烈的争论。

It is a great honor to stand before you today and share my thoughts on a topic that is not only relevant to us as young adults but also crucial for the future of our planet. The topic I wish to discuss is "Embracing the Future: The Role of Young Leaders in Shaping a Sustainable World."As we gather here today, the world is facing unprecedented challenges. Climate change, pollution, inequality, and technological advancements are just a few of the issues that demand our attention and action. It is within this context that I believe the role of young leaders becomes paramount. We, as the younger generation, are the inheritors of this world, and it is our responsibility to ensure that it remains a viable and sustainable place for future generations.Firstly, let us acknowledge the power of youth. We are the most connected generation in history. With the advent of social media and digital platforms, we have the ability to spread awareness, mobilize our peers, and influence public opinion on a global scale. This connectivity has given us a unique opportunity to amplify our voices and bring about change. We can use this power to raise awareness about environmental issues, promote social justice, and advocate for policies thatprioritize sustainability. One of the most pressing issues we face today is climate change. The effects of global warming are becoming increasingly evident, with extreme weather events, rising sea levels, and loss of biodiversity. As young leaders, we have a responsibility to take action and promote sustainable practices. This can be achieved through various means:1. Education: We must educate ourselves and others about the causes and consequences of climate change. By increasing awareness, we can inspire action and promote informed decision-making.2. Innovation: We have the creativity and drive to develop innovative solutions to combat climate change. This can involve researchingrenewable energy sources, developing sustainable agricultural practices, or creating eco-friendly products.3. Advocacy: We must use our voices to advocate for policies that prioritize sustainability. This includes pressuring governments and corporations to reduce their carbon emissions, invest in renewable energy, and protect natural habitats.Moving beyond climate change, we must also address the issue of inequality. The world is divided by class, race, gender, and socio-economic status. As young leaders, we have the power to bridge these divides and create a more equitable society. Here are a few ways in which we can do so:1. Empowerment: We must work to empower marginalized communities by providing access to education, healthcare, and employment opportunities. This will help reduce poverty and inequality.2. Inclusive Leadership: We should strive to be inclusive leaders, ensuring that our teams and organizations reflect the diversity of society. This will not only promote innovation but also foster a more just and equitable world.3. Solidarity: We must stand together in solidarity with those who are affected by inequality. By supporting social justice movements and advocating for the rights of all individuals, we can create a more just and equal society. In addition to addressing these critical issues, we must also embrace the opportunities presented by technological advancements. As young leaders, we are well-equipped to navigate the digital landscape and harness technology for the betterment of society. Here are a few ways in which we can do so:1. Digital Literacy: We must ensure that everyone has access to digital literacy training, enabling them to navigate the digital world and participate in the global economy.2. Technology for Good: We can use technology to address social challenges by developing apps and platforms that promote education, healthcare, and environmental sustainability.3. Collaboration: We must collaborate with other stakeholders, including governments, businesses, and non-profit organizations, to leverage technology for the greater good.As young leaders, we have the potential to shape the future in profound ways. However, it is essential that we do not take this responsibility lightly. We must be proactive, informed, and compassionate. Here are a few tips to help us on our journey:1. Stay Informed: Keep yourself updated on current events, scientific research, and social trends. This will enable you to make informed decisions and contribute meaningfully to the conversation.2. Lead by Example: Demonstrate sustainable practices in your own life, and encourage others to do the same. This can include reducing your carbon footprint, recycling, and conserving resources.3. Build Networks: Connect with like-minded individuals and organizations to share ideas, resources, and support. This will help you amplify your impact and create a ripple effect of positive change.4. Embrace Failure: Understand that failure is a part of the learning process. Do not be afraid to take risks and learn from your mistakes. In conclusion, as young leaders, we have a unique opportunity to shape the future of our world. By addressing the challenges of climate change, inequality, and technological advancements, we can create a sustainable, just, and equitable society. Let us embrace our power, stay informed, and lead with compassion. Together, we can make a difference and leave a lasting legacy.Thank you for your attention, and let us work towards a brighter future.[Applause]第2篇Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon. It is an honor to stand before you today to address the theme of "Embracing the Future: The Role of Young Minds in Shaping a Sustainable World." As young adults, we find ourselves at a critical juncture in history, where the decisions we make today will have a lasting impact on the planet and its inhabitants for generations to come. The world we live in is rapidly changing. Technological advancements, climate change, and global economic shifts are transforming the landscape of our planet. These changes present both challenges and opportunities, and it is up to us, the younger generation, to rise to the occasion and play a pivotal role in shaping a sustainable future.Firstly, let us acknowledge the power of youth. We are the most innovative, adaptable, and resourceful generation in history. Our minds are unburdened by the constraints of traditional thinking, and we have the potential to imagine and create solutions that were once thought impossible. From renewable energy to sustainable agriculture, fromsocial entrepreneurship to environmental activism, young people have been at the forefront of many groundbreaking initiatives.Consider the story of Greta Thunberg, a young climate activist from Sweden. At just 15 years old, she sparked a global movement by striking from school to demand action on climate change. Her courage and determination have inspired millions of young people around the world to join the fight for a sustainable future. This is just one example of how the power of youth can influence global change. Now, let us explore the challenges we face. The environmental crisis is one of the most pressing issues of our time. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has warned that we must take urgent action to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius to avoid catastrophic consequences. As young adults, we are inheritors of this crisis, and it is our responsibility to take action.Education is key. We must be well-informed about the issues at hand and understand the science behind climate change, pollution, and resource depletion. By equipping ourselves with knowledge, we can become informed advocates for change and inspire others to do the same.Innovation is another crucial aspect of our role. We must embrace new technologies and approaches that can help us reduce our ecological footprint and create a more sustainable world. Renewable energy, clean transportation, and sustainable urban planning are just a few examples of the innovative solutions that young people can drive forward.Collaboration is also essential. No single individual or organization can solve the complex problems we face alone. We must work together across borders, cultures, and disciplines to share knowledge, resources, and ideas. By fostering a sense of global citizenship, we can create a more inclusive and sustainable future for all.Furthermore, we must not underestimate the power of advocacy. Young people have the ability to raise awareness and influence public opinion. By using social media, attending protests, and engaging in dialogue with policymakers, we can amplify our voices and push for the changes we want to see.Let us also remember the importance of personal responsibility. As individuals, we can make small changes in our daily lives thatcontribute to a larger movement. This includes reducing our consumption, recycling, and supporting sustainable businesses. Every action, no matter how small, has the potential to create a ripple effect ofpositive change. In conclusion, the future of our planet lies in the hands of young people. We have the potential to be the leaders, innovators, and change-makers that the world needs. By embracing the challenges ahead, we can create a sustainable world that is equitable, prosperous, and resilient. Here are some key points to remember:1. The power of youth: We are innovative, adaptable, and resourceful.2. The challenges we face: Environmental crisis, climate change, and resource depletion.3. Education: We must be well-informed about the issues at hand.4. Innovation: We must embrace new technologies and approaches.5. Collaboration: We must work together across borders and disciplines.6. Advocacy: We must raise awareness and influence public opinion.7. Personal responsibility: We must make small changes in our daily lives.Ladies and gentlemen, the future is not a distant dream; it is a reality that we are shaping right now. Let us rise to the occasion and become the leaders of tomorrow. Together, we can create a sustainable worldthat is worth inheriting.Thank you.第3篇Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon. It is a great honor to stand before you today and share my thoughts on a topic that is not only crucial to our generation but to the future of humanity – embracing the future and the role of young minds in shaping a sustainable world. As we navigate through the complexities of the 21st century, it is clear that the challenges we face are unprecedented. Climate change, economic inequality, political tensions, and technological advancements are just a few of the issues that demand our immediate attention. However, amidst these challenges lies an incredible opportunity: the potential for young people to lead the charge in creating a more sustainable, equitable, and prosperous world.Firstly, let us acknowledge the power of youth. Young people are the most connected, innovative, and adaptable generation in history. With access to information, technology, and global networks, we have thetools to address the world's most pressing issues. Our energy, passion, and idealism are the driving forces behind social movements, technological breakthroughs, and cultural shifts. But what exactly does it mean to embrace the future, and how can we, as young minds, play a pivotal role in shaping it?1. Education and Knowledge:The foundation of any sustainable future lies in education. We must prioritize a comprehensive education system that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of our planet. By equipping ourselves with knowledge, we can better comprehend the challenges we face and contribute meaningful solutions.2. Environmental Stewardship:Climate change is perhaps the most pressing issue of our time. Together, we can build a future that is bright, hopeful, and full of possibilities. It is time for us to step up, take charge, and shape the world we want to see.Thank you.。

My dear Teachers, fellow students and friends: Good afternoon. As we all know, the earth is a planet almost covered by water, and it is water made every thing on the earth lively.Water is also one of the important part of our environment.Though,is there really so much water for us to clean,to produce many things,to play with? how much water are there on the earth then? Most of the water is in the oceans or locked away as ice.The largest volumes of fresh water are stored underground as groundwater, imagine there is only one barrel of water in the world, then there is only a spoon of it on the land, and the water we can use is only a drop of it.Now I have to remind all of you here that the single drop of water is never as Clean as before,it has been polluted severely by our human beings. There is a very beautiful river in Paris. It is the Seine,it runs across the City, people drink coffee, chat on the bank in the day,at night, they enjoy the beautiful scenery in the boat, songs from the river fly into the Sky made the river more attractive, the Seine is a famous symbol of France;on the west coast of pacific ocean there lies the modern City Shanghai, anot ther river which used to be a very important transportation route runs through the center of the city, people respected and regard it as"mother".It is the"suzhou river, but l believe that few of you would sit beside it,people will be scattered by the terrible smell of water when walk by.I have to say it is extremely dirty! And we all know that a lot of beautiful rivers in the world also are Sharing the same fate with suzhou river. Many human activities and their by-products have the potential to pollute water. Please have a look along the banks of the river, large and small industrial enterprises discharge dirty water, tons of garbage were thrown into the river, the water contained so much that it can't clean itself. Compared with the dramatic development in many sides of Shanghai, the suzhou river has become a black point of the appearance of city. Fortunately, the government has control the situation now, we are happy to see some parts of the river has become clean again, and we even can find fish sometime. The unique earth is the only planet full of lives, the water is just like the blood in the active body, protecting water is saving ourselves. Not to waste a single drop of water, otherwise, the only drop of water we could keep in the future would be our tear! My dear friends, mankind still faces a great difficulty in solving the problems of the environment and development, and there is a grand task to perform and along way to go. The middle school students in China will always cooperate with the young people of the world to protect the environment. The future is ours to build! Thanks for listening.【篇⼆】⼤学⽣英语演讲稿 hello everyone! I have a dream that one day every vally shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together. Wow, what a dream it has been for Martin Luther King. But the changing world seems telling me that people gradually get their dreams lost somehow in the process of growing up, and sometimes I personally find myself saying goodbye unconsciously to those distant childhood dreams. However, we meed dreams. They nourish our spirit; they represent possibility even when we are dragged down by reality. They keep us going. Most successful people are dreamers as well as ordinary people who are not afraid to think big and dare to be great. When we were little kids, we all dreamed of doing something big and splashy, something significant. Now what we need to do is to maintain them, refresh them and turn them into reality. However, the toughest part is that we often have no ideas how to translate these dreams into actions. Well, just start with concrete objectives and stick to it. Don’t let the nameless fear confuse the eye and confound our strong belief of future. Through our talents, through our wits, through our endurance and through our creativity, we will make it. Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a barren field frozen with snow. So my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead dreams. Whatever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today. Thank you!【篇三】⼤学⽣英语演讲稿 Hello, everyone! I’m proud that I’ve got the beautiful yellow skin, black eyes and black hair. I’m also proud that I speak the most beautiful language in the world—Chinese. I love you, China, for I can feel the deep love you give me every day, every minute. last year, I got an opportunity to visit the united states of america. during my staying there, my father’s boss once invited my family to dinner. while at table, he looked at me and asked: “little boy, how long have you been in america?” “about a month,” I answered, “how lucky you are!”he said, “if you were living in China, how could you learn such perfect english?” I smiled and told him proudly that all the students in China are able to learn english at school. I saw his surprised eyes and said to myself, “i’m proud of you, China. for you are offering us the best education.” When I came back from the usa, my friends asked me: “how do you feel about your staying there?” “wonderful” I said.“then why do you come back?” hearing this, I told them there were lots of beautiful countries in the world, but none of them can compare with our own country—China. how true the saying is: “there’s no place like home!” I love you, China. as a young student, all we should do is to study hard and devote ourselves whole-heartedly in the future, to the great cause of building you into an even stronger and greater country in the world. Leo Tolstoy once said, everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself. He is right. We always have great plans and dreams in our minds… too ready to achieve something grand that changes the world or benefits all of mankind .For example; we hate pollution and have made up our minds to find new energy sources that keep the environment clean. Yet we still litter on the ground. We plain about traffic jams, so we plan to build more highways to solve the problem, but it never occurs to us that our failure to follow traffic regulations is the leading cause of this situation. We are so concerned that the violence in the media has a bad impact on our children, we urge the ernment to set laws to protect them. But, do we, as adults, set a good example for our kids? We use nasty words and even spit on the ground in front of them, I dare to say, we harm more!In my opinion, before we decide to change the world, we had better change ourselves first. As ordinary individuals, we do not have the power to change the world. But we can change our habit of littering, spitting, cussing, we can respect the environment around us, we must act as good models for our kids.If each of us does all of these little things, all of us, millions and millions of individuals together, together we will be strong …strong enough to change our world! So please, the next time you do something, think how your actions influence not only you, but those around you too, especially our children …and perhaps more importantly…our pla !Ladies and Gentlemen:I am honored to be standing here to deliver a speech entitled “Friendship”.The hero’s mother in the movie Forrest Gump says, “Life is a box of chocolates”.I would say that life, with friendship, true friendship particularly, is sweet as honey. It is moonlight cast on the tranquility of a lake on a mid-fall night, enchanting to the soul. It is morning dew on rose petals, pleasant and pleasing to the sense of sight. It is cosy fire on a bitterly cold winter night, warming the heart. But as Helen Foster Snow remarks, “Friendship is no mon weed that grows along the way. It’s highly cultivated and watered day by day.” Like an infant, it needs constant care; like a young tree, it can not be left to the tender mercies of severe weather. True friendship consists more in “a friend in need” to give to than “afriend in need” to take from. A true friend is a person who can be turned to, who is ready to lend a listening ear, who is willing to share feelings.Friendship should be mutual, otherwise it will be subject to withering like plant in drought. Like genuine love, true friendship has to be a two way experience. Be it the former or the latter, if one expects to be solely on the receiving end, then s/he will be too optimistic about it: it is hoping against hope that it will last. Love or friendship of this kind is dangerous, as it is contaminated by the dark matter in human nature – selfishness. Not infrequently does friendship need to be cared and tended, fostered and nourished, so that it will “stand at every crossroad, so good and strong and true”.Thank you!Honorable judges, ladies and gentlemen, good morning!Today, my topic is "Changing Ourselves".At first, I'd like to tell you a little story about an insurance salesman in Tokyo. Even though this man tried very hard to promote the insurance, nobody bought it. One day, he came to a small temple and began to brag about his insurance. After listening to his introduction, the monk said: "Your re mendation of insurance can't arouse any of my interests! When you are municating with others, you must have the charm to attract others, or you will be unpromising in the future. Young man, try to change yourself!"The salesman thought deeply about each word. From then on, he invited all his friends to point out his weakness and kept on improving himself bit by bit for all his life. Thirty years later, he became a millionaire. And this man is the famous salesperson in the world: Yuan Yi Ping. His experience reflects one attitude: sometimes, we should change ourselves instead of changing the world.Human beings always scan others, therefore, lots of people just see the flaws of them, then they will blame and criticize the outside factors, some people will even try to change them! Unfortunately, they ignore the importance of the inner factors.Everybody in the world needs to examine himself critically, everybody has to learn to be tolerant and generous. You won't think the world is splendid unless you change your attitude first.Dear friends, we'd better remodel ourselves rather than blame each other. If we do so, we'll find that yesterday's sorrow is today's gratification, yesterday'sopponent is today's assistant, and yesterday's failure is today's success! Remember: if we can change ourselves, we can change the whole world!Thank you!。
英语演讲大学生演讲稿范文(3篇)

第1篇Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon/evening. It is an honor to stand before you today to share my thoughts on a topic that is not only crucial for our immediate future but also for the generations to come. The topic is "Embracing the Future: The Role of Young Minds in Shaping a Sustainable World."As we gather here today, we are at a crossroads in human history. The world we live in is facing numerous challenges, from climate change and environmental degradation to economic inequality and social injustice. These issues are not just global problems; they are our problems, and they require our collective action, especially from the younger generation.Firstly, let us acknowledge the magnitude of the challenges we face. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has reported that the planet is warming at an unprecedented rate, and the consequences are dire. Sea levels are rising, extreme weather events are becoming more frequent, and biodiversity is declining at an alarming rate. Moreover, the economic disparities between the rich and the poor are widening, and social unrest is on the rise. Now, some may argue that these problems are too big, too complex, and too far-reaching to be solved by individuals, let alone young people. However, I firmly believe that it is precisely because these challenges are immense that they require the creativity, energy, and dedication of young minds. You see, young people are the architects of the future. We are the ones who will inherit the world that we are shaping today. And while we may not have the power to control the actions of others, we do have the power to inspire change, to innovate, and to lead by example. Here are a few ways in which young minds can play a pivotal role in shaping a sustainable world:1. Education and Awareness:Education is the foundation of any meaningful change. As students, we have the opportunity to learn about the complexities of the issues we face and to raise awareness among our peers and communities. By educating ourselves and others, we can foster a culture ofresponsibility and empathy.2. Innovation and Technology:Technology has the potential to be a powerful tool in addressing environmental and social challenges. Young entrepreneurs and innovators can develop new solutions to reduce carbon emissions, improve energy efficiency, and create sustainable products. By leveraging ourcreativity and technological skills, we can contribute to a greener, more equitable future.3. Advocacy and Activism:Young people have a unique ability to mobilize and inspire others. Through social media, protests, and campaigns, we can advocate for policies that protect the environment and promote social justice. Our voices can be a powerful force for change.4. Collaboration and Partnerships:Solving the world's problems requires collaboration across borders, cultures, and disciplines. Young people can bridge gaps betweendifferent sectors and work together to find sustainable solutions. By forming partnerships with organizations, businesses, and governments, we can amplify our impact.5. Personal Responsibility:As individuals, we can make a difference by adopting sustainable lifestyles. This means reducing our carbon footprint, consuming responsibly, and supporting businesses that prioritize environmental and social responsibility. Our actions can set an example for others and create a ripple effect of change. In conclusion, the future of our planet is in our hands. As young people, we have the potential to be the leaders, innovators, and change-makers that the world needs. We must embrace our responsibility and work together to create a sustainable, just, and prosperous future for all.Let us not be deterred by the enormity of the challenges before us. Instead, let us be inspired by the opportunities that lie ahead. Let us be the generation that dares to dream big, to act boldly, and to leave a legacy of hope and sustainability.Thank you for your attention, and let us embark on this journey of change together.[The end]Note: This speech is a general template and can be tailored to fit specific contexts or personal experiences. It is also important to research and include specific data or examples to support the points made in the speech.第2篇Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon/evening. It is a great honor to stand before you today to share my thoughts on a topic that is not only of great significance but also one that resonates deeply with us as young adults – the role of young minds in shaping a sustainable future. As we gather here today, the world is facing unprecedented challenges. Climate change, environmental degradation, economic inequality, and technological advancements are just a few of the issues that we must address collectively. It is in this context that I believe it is crucial for us, as young people, to step forward and take an active role in shaping the future that we, and future generations, will inherit.Firstly, let us acknowledge the power that lies within us. We are the generation that will inherit the legacy of the past and the future. Our voices, our ideas, and our actions have the potential to drive positivechange. We are not just passive recipients of the world that has been handed to us; we are active participants in its creation. One of the most pressing issues that we face today is climate change. The consequences of global warming are becoming increasingly evident, from rising sea levels to extreme weather events. As young people, we have a unique perspective on this issue. We are the ones who will haveto live with the long-term impacts of climate change, and we are alsothe ones who have the energy and creativity to propose innovative solutions.Technology has been both a curse and a blessing in this regard. While it has contributed to the problem by enabling rapid industrialization and consumption, it also holds the key to its solution. As young innovators, we have the opportunity to harness the power of technology to develop sustainable energy sources, create more efficient transportation systems, and promote environmental conservation. We must embrace this challenge and use our skills to create a cleaner, greener future. Moreover, we must recognize the importance of education in fostering a sustainable mindset. Our universities and colleges are not just placesof learning but also breeding grounds for future leaders. By promoting interdisciplinary studies and sustainability-focused curricula, we can equip ourselves with the knowledge and tools necessary to tackle the complex issues that we face. We must also encourage critical thinkingand innovation, as these are the cornerstones of sustainable development. In addition to technological and educational advancements, we must address the social and economic aspects of sustainability. Inequality is a major barrier to achieving a sustainable future. As young individuals, we have the power to advocate for social justice and equality. We must use our voices to speak out against discrimination, to support marginalized communities, and to promote inclusive policies that benefit all members of society.Furthermore, we must foster a sense of global citizenship. The world is interconnected, and the challenges that we face are not confined to any one country or region. We must work together, transcending borders andcultures, to create a more sustainable and equitable world. This requires empathy, understanding, and a willingness to collaborate with others.Let us also not forget the power of individual actions. While large-scale initiatives and policies are essential, small changes in our daily lives can also have a significant impact. By adopting sustainable practices, such as reducing waste, conserving water, and using renewable energy, we can set an example for others and contribute to a more sustainable future. In conclusion, the role of young minds in shaping a sustainable futureis both crucial and exciting. We have the energy, the creativity, and the determination to drive positive change. By harnessing technology, promoting education, advocating for social justice, fostering global citizenship, and adopting sustainable practices, we can create a world that is both prosperous and sustainable. As young people, we are the future. It is our responsibility to ensure that this future is bright, that it is inclusive, and that it is sustainable. Let us embrace this responsibility with open arms and work together to create a world that we can be proud of.Thank you for your attention, and let us move forward, united in our mission to shape a sustainable future.[Applause]第3篇Ladies and Gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon. It is a great honor to stand before you today and share my thoughts on a topic that is not only relevant but crucial to our generation: the role of young minds in shaping a sustainable future. As we navigate the complexities of the 21st century, it is imperative that we recognize the power and potential of the youth to drive positive change. The world we live in today is a testament to the progress that has been made over the centuries. However, it is also a world that faces unprecedented challenges, from climate change to social inequality, from technological disruption to political unrest. These challenges require innovative solutions, and it is here that the young minds of today hold the key to tomorrow.Firstly, let us acknowledge the unique perspective that youth brings to the table. We are the first generation to grow up in the shadow of climate change, witnessing its devastating impacts firsthand. We arealso the first generation to be truly connected by technology, with the ability to communicate and collaborate across borders and cultures at an unprecedented scale. This dual perspective empowers us to approach problems from fresh angles and to envision solutions that are both innovative and inclusive. In the realm of environmental sustainability, young minds have already made significant strides. From school initiatives aimed at reducingwaste to global campaigns promoting renewable energy, our generation is taking action. For instance, the "Fridays for Future" movement, initiated by Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg, has mobilized millions of students worldwide to demand urgent action on climate change. This movement is a prime example of how young people can bring about systemic change by raising awareness and advocating for policy shifts.Furthermore, technology has provided us with tools to tacklesustainability challenges more effectively than ever before. We are witnessing the rise of young entrepreneurs who are developing cutting-edge solutions to some of the world's most pressing problems. Take, for example, the young Nigerian entrepreneur Adebayo Ogunlesi, who founded the renewable energy company "Rensol," aimed at providing affordable solar power to rural communities in Africa. Through such innovative startups, young minds are not only creating sustainable businesses but also contributing to the development of sustainable societies.Social sustainability is another area where young people are making a significant impact. We are witnessing a growing movement towards social justice and equality, with young activists leading the charge. The MeToomovement, which gained traction worldwide, was largely driven by young women who used social media to share their stories of harassment and abuse. This movement has sparked conversations and initiatives aimed at creating safer and more inclusive environments for all. Moreover, the power of young minds extends beyond activism and entrepreneurship. Education is a cornerstone of sustainable development, and our generation is committed to ensuring that every child has access to quality education. Organizations such as "Malala Fund," founded by Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai, are dedicated to promoting girls' education and empowering young people to become agents of change intheir communities. In addition to these initiatives, it is essential that we, as young people, continue to cultivate our skills and knowledge. We must embrace lifelong learning and be open to new ideas and perspectives. By doing so, we can better understand the complexities of the world we live in and contribute meaningfully to its betterment. As we look to the future, it is clear that the challenges we face are interconnected. Solving one problem will not automatically resolve another. Therefore, it is our responsibility to approach thesechallenges holistically and to collaborate across sectors and borders. We must bridge the gap between technology and humanity, ensuring thatour innovations serve the greater good and not just the few.In conclusion, the role of young minds in shaping a sustainable futureis both significant and essential. We possess the creativity, passion, and determination to drive positive change in our world. It is up to us to take charge, to lead by example, and to inspire others to join the cause.Ladies and gentlemen, let us not underestimate the power of ourcollective voices and actions. Let us commit to being the generationthat not only acknowledges the challenges but also takes concrete steps to address them. Together, we can create a sustainable world that is equitable, prosperous, and resilient.Thank you for your attention, and let us embrace the future with open minds and open hearts.[The end]。

英语演讲稿:2020大学生英语演讲稿
i believe in our future
honorable judges, fellow students:
good afternoon!
recently, ther is a heated debate in our society. the college students are the beneficiaries of a rare privilege, who receive exceptional education at extraordinary places.
but will we be able to face the challenge and support
ourselves against all odds? will we be able to better the
lives of others? will we be able to accept the responsibility of building the future of our country?
the cynics say the college students are the pampered lost generation, which would cringe at the slightest discomfort.
but the cynics are wrong. the college students i see are eagerly learning about how to live independently. we help
each other clean the dormitory, go shopping and bargain together, and take part time jobs to supplement our pocket money.
the cynics say we care for nothing other than grades; and we neglect the need for character cultivation. but again, the cynics are wrong. we care deeply for each other, we cherish freedom, we treasure justice, and we seek truth. last week, thousands of my fellow students had their blood type tested
in order to make a contribution for the children who suffer from blood cancer.
as college students, we are adolescents at the critical turning point in our lives. we all face a fundamental choice:
cynicism or faith, each will profoundly impact our future, or even the future of our country. i believe in all my fellow classmates. though we are still inexperienced and even a
little bit childish. i believe that we have the courage and faith to meet any challenge and take on our responsibilities. we are preparing to assume new responsibilities and tasks,
and to use the education we have received to make our world a better place. i believe in our future.
