通过学习,学生应具有一定的听、说、读、写、译能力,能够在不同的商务活动中正确使用英语。
二、教学要求1、词汇领会式掌握1800单词(其中熟练掌握的单词为800),以及由这些词构成的常用词组,并具有按照构词法识别生词的能力。
2、阅读能力能顺利阅读语言难度中等的商务题材的文章,掌握中心大意以及说明中心大意的事实和细节,并能就文章的内容进行分析、推理、判断和综合概括,领会作者的观点和态度,阅读速度达到每分钟80词。
在阅读篇幅较长、难度略低、生词不超过总词数5%的材料时,能正确理解中心大意,抓住主要实施和有关细节,阅读速度达到每分钟80词。
3、听的能力对题材熟悉、句子结构不太复杂、生词少、语速为每分钟80~100词的篇幅较长的会话、谈话报道和讲座,能掌握其中心大意,抓住要点和有关细节,领会讲话者的观点和态度,并能进行分析、推理和判断。
4、说的能力能就教材内容和一般的听力材料进行问答和讨论,能就一般的社会生活话题进行简单的交谈讨论和发言,表达思想清楚,语音、语调基本正确。

七、课程性质和任务
商务英语是高等职业学校商务英语专业的主干专业课程。
它的任务是培养学生学习商务英语的兴趣和国际商务沟通能力,了解经贸英语知识,并提高听、说、读、写、译方面的基本能力,基本掌握国际贸易主要术语和必要的商务知识,熟悉经贸业务流程,还能掌握商务基本礼仪、经济、贸易等方面的基础理论;能够胜任用英语进行对外经贸活动方面的工作,使之成为21世纪复合型、国际型商务人才
八、教学内容
教学内容与商务活动紧密相连,侧重介绍与商务活动及日常业务相关的语言及语言技巧的运用。
培养学生在各种商务活动及日常业务中英语语言的实际应用能力。
这门课程还具有延伸性,与其他的商务英语专业课程(如国际商法、商务写作、外贸函电、外贸进出口实务等)的教学互相渗透,互相促进,互相支撑。
九.课程教学目标
在基础英语教学的基础上,巩固、扩大学生的语法、词汇等语言知识,侧重介绍与商务活动及日常业务相关的语言及语言技巧的运用。
学习一般商务知识,通过听、说、读、写等基本技能的综合训练,培养学生的国际商务沟通能力,信息获取、整合及应用能力。
通过商务基本技能的训练,使学生掌握一定的实务操作能力,真正能够运用商务英语知识。

各单元的主要部分
学生用书的每一单元包括如下几个部分
关键词汇
每单元开头有一篇短文,向学生介绍本单元主题,并提供谈论这一主题将用到的关键词汇。
用黑体标出的关键词汇或者其后紧跟单词定义,或者学生可通过上下文推断出它的定义。
引导
这一部分的目的在于激发学生对每个单元主题的兴趣,以及对主题的意识,帮助学生在开始学习一个单元之前就先把相关的词汇、主题信息和个人经历从记忆中调动出来,同时教师也可以此判定学生对主题的把握程度。
语言点和练习
语法教学是根据初、中级水平学生设置的,特别注重将语法学习与有用的商务结构结合。
发音
每个语言点后紧跟着发音练习,让学生了解在特定的语法中如何使用弱音、缩略、语调模式、单个音以及
重音模式。
写作
商务写作单元以模块的方式展示了一系列的商务文挡,为学生提供了按一系列相关格式写作的机会。
能够运用所学语言知识,根据所给背景语言材料,图表及表格等直观资料,写出符合国际商务惯例,格式规范的商务报告,备忘录,商务信函,建议书和E-mail等,要求内容切题,结构严谨,条理清楚,语法正确,语言通顺得体。
阅读
每单元都包含一篇原汁原味的文章,文章的选取考虑了信息的清晰度、语法难易程度、词汇密度和句法因素。
学生应把重点放在完成练习需要的段落上而不要过多考虑那些对理解全文无关紧要的个别词语、短语或结构。
听力
听力材料全部是真实的商务文章,但提问者的问题专门用来引发直接的回答,说话者的回答力求避免使用复杂的语法结构。
能听懂正常语速为每分钟约140-180个单词的日常生活和商务活动的谈话,类型涉及电话,采访,讨论,演讲,会议发言等。
要求学生能正确辨认听觉信息,并做出适当判断,并能结合具体语言环境,理解所听内容的深层含义,把握说话者的态度和意图。
词汇
每单元的词汇通常取自前面的文章,练习的重点是通过观察词的构成、同义词、词语搭配、复合词和复合形容词系统地学习词汇。
跨文化比较
用于提高学生的跨文化意识,使学生明白世界各国对于商务的观点各不相同。
对于单语种的学生群体来说,为他们提供了思考的机会,去发现世界上其他地方的人们如何看待商务中的某些方面。
商务沟通
多为口语练习,让学生用英语做生意完成实际任务,为学生提供了挑战性地运用所有语言知识的机会。
能够运用正确的英语讨论各种商务和日常生活的话题,进行电话交谈,能够作简单的会议发言和商务报告。
要求内容切题,有较大专业词汇量,语音语调正确,语流连贯顺畅,表达基本得体。
职业技能证书考核要求:
通过全国国际商务英语一级认证考试。
十.教学重点与难点基本要求:
本大纲要求学生掌握文章中出现的词语和专业术语;能顺利阅读并正确理解国际商务活动题材、语言难度中等的文章;掌握商务写作技巧;经过短暂的准备,能就文章内容或某一问题进行简短发言,基本上能表达思想,语句流畅,发音准确,语法错误较少。
本课程既强调英语听、说、读、写、译技能的综合培养,也强调学生思维能力和创新能力的培养,从而提高发展国际商务、对外贸易等方面的英语语言运用能力,并提高学生的文化素养。
具备听、说、读、写四项英语语言基本技能,基础商务知识,常用商务函电的阅读和写作。
加强有关功能单元教学中加强认知阶段的教学设计和实训方面的有效落实。
十一、教学方法:
掌握商务术语,课堂分析、讲解各类商务文件或文章;根据课程安排和教材特点,展开课堂讨论,加深商务意识;听力练习创造真实的语境;辅以大量课内课外的阅读与口语的训练或练习。
本课程主要以英语授课,采用以启发式为主要模式的交际教学法原则,最充分地调动学生的学习积极性和主动性,加强学生思维能力和创新能力的培养,努力为学生创造发表个人见解的机会。
课堂教学以学生为主体,教师为主导,注重培养学生的学习能力,判断能力,分析能力,讨论能力和表达能力。
在课堂教学中开展以任务为中心的,形式多样的教学活动。
采用启发式,讨论式的学习方法,充分调动学生学习的积极性,激发学生的学习热情,最大限度地让学生参与学习的全过程。
课外练习以课堂教学的内容为基础,侧重语法及词汇等语言知识的训练,要求学生课后自己完成。

本课程依托学院网络中心以满足进行网络教育的教学需要,并在教学实践中发挥积极有效的作用。

十六、考核方式:
本课程总成绩由平时成绩和期末考试成绩两部分组成。
平时成绩占30%,考试成绩占70%,均采用百分制。
平时成绩包括考勤,课堂讨论,口头报告,堂上作业,课后作业,小组任务完成情况的考核成绩。
期末考试采用闭卷考试的形式,时间为两个小时。
题型包括选择、完型填空、改错、阅读理解、连线、判断正误、写作等。
成绩形成方式:每个单元在考试中各占10%,可根据实际情况,作出调整,如学生在学习过程中遇到的重点、难点章节,适当加大其在考试中的比重。
考试平时成绩(30%)+ 期末考试(70%)说明。
