1My Big Adventure at Dapingzhoang Forest ParkLast weekend, my family and I went on a really fun trip to Dapingzhoang Forest Park in Dongguan. It's a huge park with lots of trees, hiking trails, and cool things to see and do. I'm going to tell you all about our exciting day there! We drove for about an hour from our house in the city to get to the park. As we got closer, I could see tall green mountains rising up through the trees. I was getting really excited! When we finally arrived, the first thing I noticed was how fresh the air smelled. It was like being in a whole different world from the city. The park is absolutely massive - over 600 hectares! That's like 6 million square meters or 1,500 acres. It's one of the largest forest parks in the whole Guangdong province. My dad said it would take us days to explore the whole thing. We started off on a hiking trail called the "Valley Path" that winds its way through a beautiful canyon area. The trail waspaved at first but then turned into a little dirt path surrounded by bamboo forests on both sides. I felt like I was in a jungle adventure movie! As we hiked further in, we came across a bunch of cool rock formations and little waterfalls tucked away between the trees. My little brother tried to climb on some of the bigger rocks, but Mom had to stop him because it was too dangerous. We'll have to come back when he's older to go rock climbing.About halfway through the hike, we stopped at a place called the "Valley Wind Corridor" which is this amazing spot where the wind blows really strong through a narrow canyon. I stood there and let the wind push me back - it felt like I was in the middle of a storm! The park rangers said the wind can gust up to 50 kilometers per hour through that spot sometimes. No wonder it's one of the most popular photo spots. After resting for a bit, we kept hiking up further into the mountains along the "Ridge Path." This trail was a little tougher because it was all uphill, but the views from the top were incredible. You could see the whole forest below you stretching out for miles and miles of lush green trees. My dad took about a million pictures from up there.Once we finished that hike, we were all pretty hungry so we found a little restaurant right inside the park that served all kinds of delicious local foods like shashlik, satay skewers, and roasted sweet potatoes. My favorite was the sticky rice dumplings filled with red bean paste – so yummy! After eating, we headed over to the "Scientific Exploration Zone" which has all sorts of cool hands-on exhibits about nature, biology, and the local environment. They had a 4D movie theater that made you feel like you were soaring over the forest, a butterfly garden filled with beautiful species, and my favorite - a "fragrance tunnel" where you walked through and could smell all the different flowers and plants from the area. It was like the whole tunnel was perfumed! My little brother's favorite part was the "Children's Playground" which had these awesome tree houses and rope bridges to run around on. He probably spent an hour just climbing up, running across the bridges, and sliding back down. Meanwhile, I got to go on the park's zipline adventure course! It had me soaring over the treetops from platform to platform while safely attached to a harness. So fun and not scary at all (well, maybe just a little scary the first time). As we were getting ready to leave, we stopped at the "Ethnic Culture Village" to learn about some of the minority groups that have lived in this area of Guangdong for centuries. We watched some traditional dancing, bought little wooden handicrafts, and I even got to pound some sticky rice into a cake using an enormous wooden mallet!By the time we got back to the car, we were all completely exhausted - but it was totally worth it for such an amazing day. I can't wait to go back to Dapingzhoang again soon and explore even more of the park. It's such a cool place to get out in nature, learn about the environment, and have adventurous good times as a family. I'm so lucky we have a forest like this so close to where we live. Okay, time for a nap now...what an awesome day!篇2My Awesome Day at Dapingding Forest ParkHi everyone! My name is Lucy and I'm 10 years old. I love going on adventures and last weekend my family took me to the coolest place ever - Dapingding Forest Park in Dongguan, China! It was so much fun that I just have to tell you all about it.We drove for about an hour from our house in the city to get to the forest park. As we got closer, I could see big greenmountains out the window. I was super excited because I love being outdoors surrounded by nature. Finally, we arrived and I couldn't wait to explore! The first thing we did was take a ride on the Dapingding Sightseeing Monorail Train. It's a cool little train that goes all through the forest up into the mountains. The views were absolutely beautiful with so many tall trees and rocks everywhere. We even went through some tunnels blasted right through the mountain! After the train ride, we went hiking on one of the trails. They have easy walking paths but also some really adventurous hiking trails up in the mountains for people who want more of a challenge. We saw so many cool things like strange rock formations, waterfalls, and cute little forest creatures scampering around. My favorite was the Immortals Valley - it's this area with these huge weirdly shaped rocks and boulders that almost look man-made but are totally natural. I felt like I was in a magical world!About halfway through our hike, we stopped for a picnic lunch. The park has designated areas set up so you can sit and eat while enjoying the amazing natural scenery. We had so muchdelicious food like sandwiches, fruit, and even some tasty fried snacks we picked up from a little shop in the park. After eating, we went to check out the Xianguang Valley. This is this cool enclosed valley surrounded by towering cliffs on all sides. But the neatest part is the waterfall - it's over 100 meters tall and comes crashing down into a big pool at the bottom! We got to walk along boardwalks and bridges right next to the falls. Seeing all that rushing water was just mesmerizing.Next up was the Baishui Lake area of the park. There's a huge beautiful lake surrounded by trees and mountains. We walked along the lakeside trail and stopped to skip some rocks and just enjoy being near the peaceful water. We even saw a couple people out on little boats in the middle of the lake which looked really fun.I thought that was it for our big adventure but then we found out there was one more surprise in store - the Dapingding Light Maze! This area is filled with all these twisting paths lined with hedges and shrubs lit up by colorful lights. It's supposed to look like an outdoor hedge maze but with this really cool psychedelic lighting everywhere. We wandered through it for a while, trying to find dead ends and loop backs. I felt like I was insome kind of futuristic fantasy world! It was probably my favorite part of the whole day. After the light maze, we were totally worn out so we headed home. I slept like a log that night after all the hiking and walking we did! I had such an awesome day at Dapingding Forest Park. It was beautiful, fun, and full of amazing things to see and do. If you ever get a chance to visit Dongguan, you have to go check it out. Just be sure to bring your walking shoes because there's so much ground to cover! Thanks for reading all about my great adventure. See you next time!篇3My Awesome Day at Dashilingcun Forest Park!Wow, I had the best day ever at Dashilingcun Forest Park! It's this huge park full of trees and nature in Dongguan, which is a city not too far from where I live in Guangdong Province. My mom and dad took me and my little sister there last weekend for a fun family outing. I'm so excited to tell you all about it!We left our house early in the morning to beat the crowds. It's about an hour drive from our place to the park. As we got closer, I could see these tall, green hills rising up ahead of us.Those were the mountains that the forest park is built around! I was amazed by how big they were. When we finally arrived, the first thing I noticed was all the lovely flowers planted everywhere. There were roses, sunflowers, lilies and so many other colorful blooms. It made the whole entrance area smell fantastic. We paid to get our tickets and then walked through these huge wooden gates into the park itself. That's when the real fun began! The first area we explored was the Botanical Gardens. There were beautifully landscaped gardens with all kinds of cool plants, including a bamboo forest, a herb garden, and a secluded zen garden with a little pond. My sister and I had a great time running around smelling all the different flowers and leaves. We even saw a group of butterflies flitting around sipping nectar! After the gardens, we went hiking up into the forest itself on one of the many winding trails. The path took us up into the mountains, surrounded by towering trees and rocks. I've never seen trees that large in my life! Some of them seemed like they must be hundreds of years old. We stopped along the way at some scenic viewpoints to catch our breath and take in the incredible views of the valleys and peaks all around us.As we kept climbing upwards, sometimes the trail would lead us over cool suspension bridges hung high above the ground between the trees. Those were a little scary at first because the bridges would sway back and forth as we walked across. But they were totally safe and gave us an awesome bird's eye view of the forest below. My dad said the bridges were designed that way to prevent damaging the tree roots. The highest point we made it to was this area called the Cangjinguan Peak. At 416 meters above sea level, it was the tallest mountain in the whole forest park. When we finally reached the top after a tough hike, we could see the entire park and Dongguan city spread out below us in a panoramic view. It felt like we were on top of the world! The fresh air was so clean and crisp up there too. We stayed for a while just enjoying the peaceful quiet and scenery. On our way back down the mountain, we saw all sorts of cool wildlife. We spotted several types of colorful birds, some deer carefully picking their way through the trees, and even a pretty big snake slithering across the trail in front of us! My dad assured me it was just a harmless rat snake though. Apparently Dashilingcun is home to over 300 species including some reallyrare animals and plants. I felt like a nature explorer discovering it all.Once we made it back to the bottom, we were pretty hungry from our big hike. That's when we discovered the park has these fun village streets set up with little food stalls and shops. We ate some delicious local snacks like fried rice noodles, sweet sesame seed balls, and my favorite - fresh sugar cane juice! So refreshing after our long trek. We also visited some of the shops selling handmade crafts and artwork before heading back home.I had such an awesome day at Dashilingcun Forest Park. From the beautiful gardens to the thrilling mountain hikes to the cute village streets, there was so much fun stuff to see and do. I can't wait to go back again soon and explore even more of the park. If you ever visit Dongguan, you have to go check it out for yourself! Just make sure to wear good hiking shoes.篇4My Big Adventure at Dapengshan Forest ParkLast weekend, my family went on a super fun adventure to Dapengshan Forest Park in Dongguan! Dapengshan means "Big Screen Mountain" and it's a huge nature park with hiking trails, waterfalls, and even a zoo. I was so excited to explore it!We drove for about an hour from our house in Guangzhou to get to the park entrance. When we arrived, I could already see the tall, green mountains peeking out from behind the trees. The sign at the entrance said "Welcome to Dapengshan Forest Park" in Chinese and English. My little brother tried to read the English words out loud.First, we went to get a map from the visitor center. The nice park ranger pointed out all the cool places we could go, like the Seven Falls trail, the petting zoo, and the botanical gardens. My dad said the Seven Falls trail sounded fun, so we headed that way first. The hiking trail was kind of hard, with lots of uphill climbing. But there were so many amazing things to see along the way! We walked across several bridges over little streams and passed by tons of different plants and flowers I had never seen before. The path was surrounded by huge leafy trees that made everything feel cool and shady. After about 30 minutes of hiking, we started to hear the sound of rushing water getting louder. That's when we came to the first waterfall! It was SO beautiful, with crystal clear turquoise water spilling down over the rocks. We took a bunch of pictures before moving on to the next waterfall, which was even tallerthan the first one. In total, we saw all seven gorgeous waterfalls that give the trail its name.Once we finished the hike, we were pretty tired so we stopped for a picnic lunch at one of the rest areas. I gobbled down my sandwich and snacks super fast so I could go explore the playground. It had really cool equipment like dragon sculptures to climb on and rustic wooden seesaws and swings. After running around on the playground for a while, we headed over to the petting zoo area. There were so many cute animals there! We got to pet and feed little bunnies, goats, sheep, and even a friendly llama. The llama stuck its long neck out looking for food and it made me laugh. My little brother was a little scared of the bigger animals at first, but ended up having a great time. Before leaving the park, we stopped at the botanical gardens to check out all the beautiful flowers and plants. There were fields of colorful roses, orchids, lotus flowers and other kinds I had never seen before. The gardens even had a chocolate vine plant that smelled just like a candy bar! We walked along the winding paths, looking at the pretty scenery and reading the signs to learn about the different plants.I had such an amazing day exploring Dapengshan Forest Park. From the amazing waterfalls, to the fun playground, cute petting zoo animals, and breathtaking gardens, there was so much incredible nature to experience. I'll definitely never forget my big adventure hiking, playing, and learning at this beautiful park in Dongguan. I can't wait to go back again soon!篇5My Awesome Day at Dapengding Forest ParkHi everyone! My name is Li Ming and I'm 10 years old. I love going on adventures and exploring cool new places. Last weekend, my mom and dad took me to this amazing forest park called Dapengding. It's in Dongguan, which is a big city not too far from where we live in Guangzhou. I'm going to tell you all about my fun day there! We drove for about an hour to get to the park. As soon as we arrived, I could smell the fresh air and see the tall trees everywhere. Dapengding Forest Park is huge - it's over 600 hectares! That means it's bigger than 600 football fields. The parks near my home are nothing like this.My dad said Dapengding used to be all farmland and fruit orchards, but now it's been turned into a protected natural forestarea. There are hiking trails, gardens, lakes, and even a mountain! We first walked along a trail through the shady woods. The path was covered in fallen leaves and branches. I spotted lots of cool bugs and my dad showed me different types of mushrooms growing on the trees. He said never to eat wild mushrooms though, because some can make you really sick. After our little hike, we came to a big open area with a beautiful lake in the middle. The water was so clear and blue! Ducks and swans were swimming around while people rowed little boats across the lake. My mom and I rented a paddleboat shaped like a swan. It was kind of hard to pedal at first, but then I got the hang of it. We stayed out on the lake for a long time, breathing the fresh air and looking at the flowers growing all around the shore. When we got hungry, we had a picnic lunch on the grassy lawn area. The park has lots of places to sit and relax while you eat. We had delicious dumplings, noodles, and fresh fruit. An auntie walked by selling ice cream from a cart and my dad bought me a chocolate popsicle for dessert. It was so yummy on the hot day! After lunch, it was time to explore more of the park. We wandered around the botanical gardens area where there werehundreds of different types of flowers, plants, and trees from all over the world. My favorite was the cactus garden - the cacti came in crazy shapes and sizes! I've never seen anything like it. We also saw bamboo groves, bonsai trees, and fish ponds. Then we walked up the hiking trail that goes up Dapengding Mountain. Even though the mountain is only about 500 meters high, the climb was pretty tough! The path was steep and there were lots of steps cut into the side of the mountain. About halfway up, we stopped at this cool pavilion building to rest. From there, you could see the entire forest park below us. It felt like we were in the clouds! When we finally reached the top, the view was spectacular. You could see for miles and miles across Dongguan and even towards the skyscrapers in Guangzhou! My dad said on a really clear day, you can almost see Hong Kong from up there. We took about a million pictures of the incredible scenery. Going back down was much easier than going up. My legs were pretty tired by then!On our way out of the park, we visited the cultural exhibit halls. Dapengding has museums and displays about the history, culture, and traditions of Dongguan. There were lots of neat old artifacts, clothes, and artwork. My favorite was learning aboutthe local Dongguan opera and music. The performers have to train for years to learn the special singing styles and acrobatic moves.By the end of the day, I was worn out from all the hiking, boating, and sightseeing. But I had so much fun! Dapengding Forest Park was an awesome place to explore nature, get some fresh air, and be active. I can't wait to go back again soon. Maybe next time we can have a picnic by the waterfall area or go camping overnight. If you ever visit Dongguan, you have to check out this amazing forest park!篇6My Big Adventure at Dapingding Forest ParkHi everyone! My name is Lily and I'm 10 years old. Last weekend, my parents took me on a super fun trip to Dapingding Forest Park in Dongguan. It's a huge nature park with tons of cool stuff to see and do. I'm going to tell you all about my exciting adventure there! We drove for about an hour from our home in Guangzhou to get to the park. As we got closer, I could see the tall mountains and green forests out the car window. I was so excited! When we finally arrived, the first thing I noticed was how fresh the airsmelled. It was like breathing in a forest breeze. So different from the city air I'm used to.The park entrance had these massive wooden gates that made me feel like I was entering an ancient kingdom. We bought our tickets and went inside. Right away, we were surrounded by towering trees and walking trails leading off in different directions. My dad said Dapingding means "Big Flat Top" because of the flat mountain peaks. I thought that was a cool name! Our first stop was the Jurassic Ravine. Can you believe dinosaurs actually roamed this area millions of years ago? There were all these lifesize dinosaur sculptures along the ravine trail. I got to see a mighty T-Rex, a three-horned Triceratops, and more! The ravine was so deep with high rocky cliffs on both sides. I felt like I had traveled back in time to when dinosaurs ruled the earth. Rawwwr! After leaving the ravine, we rode the Skywalk, which is a glass-bottomed walkway suspended high up between the mountains. I was a little nervous at first because you can see straight down through the glass to the valley below. But my dad held my hand and I got used to it. The view from up there wasbreathtaking! Green mountains rolled out in every direction as far as I could see.Next up was the Seven Connectors Trail, which had seven different bridges and walkways winding through the forest canopy. One was a zigzag suspension bridge, another was a wooden plank trail, and my favorite was the floating bridge made of glass panels hovering over a crystal clear river. I spotted butterflies, birds, and even a family of monkeys swinging from the branches! It felt like I was an explorer discovering a secret rainforest world. After so much hiking and walking, I worked up an appetite. We stopped for a yummy picnic lunch next to a waterfall. The sound of the crashing water was so relaxing and peaceful. Afterwards, we went to Oxygen Valley which had tons of fresh air circulating between the mountains. I took deep breaths to fill my lungs with all that nice oxygen! One of the highlights was the Fungi Kingdom, where we got to see all sorts of weird and wonderful mushrooms, toad stools, and fungus. They came in so many wacky shapes, colors and sizes! There was one gigantic mushroom that was taller than me. My mom said the park has over 600 different fungi species. Who knew mushrooms could be so fascinating? Before leaving, we visited the mansions that recreate ancient folk houses from different areas of Guangdong. I peeked inside and saw old furniture, decorations, and tools set up to show what life was like long ago. It made me imagine growing up as a kid in those historic times.By the end of the day, my legs were worn out from all the walking and exploring, but I had a big smile on my face. Dapingding was an incredible nature paradise. I felt like I had been transported to a magical wonderland full of prehistoric creatures, hanging bridges, wild mushrooms, and more! I gave my parents a huge hug and thanked them for taking me. It was one of the most fun and amazing experiences I've ever had.If you ever get a chance to visit Dongguan, you have to go to Dapingding Forest Park. With your own eyes, you'll see why it's considered a natural treasure of Guangdong province. Just be prepared for a full day of nonstop adventures! I'm already asking my parents when we can go back again. Maybe dinosaurs will roam the land next time!。
