教学目的:
生命周期环境(life cycle assessment: LCA)是对从原材料的生产、产品的制作、包装、运输及废弃物的处理等整个生命周期的环境及经济影响进行定量分析工具。这项工具目前已被国外广泛地应用到清洁生产审核、政府政策、可持续发展教育、工艺改进和生态设计中。这门课程的目的是让学生通过具体案例练习来掌握原料、能源、流程、产品是如何影响环境的。
Life cycle assessment (LCA) is a “cradle-to-grave” approach which enables evaluating the environmental burdens associated with a product, process, or activity by identifying, quantifying and assessing the impact of the utilized energy, materials and the wastes released to the environment. LCA could identify and evaluate opportunities for environmental improvements to guide government policy, strategic planning, marketing, consumer education, process improvement, product design, eco-labeling and consumer education programs throughout the world.This course describes how raw material and energy consumption, processes, and products affect environmental impacts. Practical case studies will be taken from straws open burning up to the energy recovery from straws.
