初中英语对话课教学案例
1. 教学内容:go for it book 1 unit 6 do you like bananas? section A
2. 教学目标:
语言知识目标:
1) 学习与交通食物相关的单词:
hamburgers, tomatoes, broccoli, french fries, oranges, ice cream, salad, bananas, strawberries, apples, pears,
2) 学习表达对食物的喜好的句型:
do you like…?
what food do you like (best)?
what’s your favorite food?
语言技能目标:
1) 能听懂与谈论食物喜好相关的听力材料。
2) 能模拟、编写类似对话。
3) 能在party, dinner time等真实情景中使用相关句型。
学习策略目标:
1) 能根据需要进行课前准备,并能通过网络等多种途径搜集与本话题相关的信息。
2) 在课堂交际中能把注意力集中在意思的表达上,并能在交际中注意中外交际习俗差异。
3. ) 在交际遇到困难时,能有效地从教师、小组成员处寻求帮助。
文化意识目标:
1) 了解中西方在饮食喜好及结构上的差异。
2) 了解中西方在饮食礼仪上的差异。
情感态度目标:
1) 谈论美食及健康的饮食习惯。
2) 感悟生活之美。
3. 教学重点
使学生熟练掌握运用do you like...? 问句询问他人的喜好并能对他人的询问做出准确回答,使学生学会运用i like.... i don’t like....句型谈论自己对食物的喜好,而且能进行实际交际。为了突出重点,每一个环节都要以教学重点为依托,围绕着谈论对食物的喜好展开丰富的训练,并采用实物和多媒体等教学手段,运用大量的动画设计,使学生在一种生动活泼逼真的氛围中获得信息掌握知识。
4. 教学难点
(1)重点句型的掌握。为了突破这一难点,首先运用实物,设置真实场景自然引入新句型,然后在课件中以醒目的字体和鲜艳的颜色标出重点句型,再通过多种形式的活动反复操练,,最终达到学生熟练掌握。
(2)本课的另一难点为生词量比较大,同时要掌握十种食物名称。为了突破这一难点,首先运用实物、图片让学生感知,并在学生了解词义的同时,出示英文提示词,然后用诵读法熟悉读音和词意,最后结合句型在活动中反复操练,使学生逐渐熟悉。
5. 教学过程:
step 1 lead in
teacher shows the ss a frdge made by a paper box and asks them to guess what different kinds of food are in it. by doing this, teacher guides the ss to review all the food names they have already known, and then presents some new words about food. (apples, bananas, salad, …)
step 2 pre-task
1. ask ss to finish 1a by matching the words with the right pictures and then check.
(通过单词与图片的搭配,让学生认知食物类单词。)
2. ask the students whether they like all the food they have learned by presenting the important structures:
do you like …? yes, i do. / no, i don’t.
(进一步巩固单词,并对本课句型作示范。)
3. get ss to finish 1b by playing the tape for twice. for the first time, ask ss to just listen carefully and try to catch what the speakers are talking about. for the second time, ask ss to finish numbering the conversations.
step 3 while-task
A. ask ss to guess what the teacher likes for all the food they have learned.
B. ask ss to do pair work. one asks the other the question “do you like…?” the other person answers “yes, i do. / no, i don’t.” by doing this, students can get to know what their partners like and dislike.
C. teacher give s ss a food survey for ss to make a survey about their classmates’ likes and dislikes. each student should investigate 10 classmates.

step 4 post-task
get ss to pay attention to the important words and some structures used to talk about their likes and dislikes for different kinds of food.
step 5 homework
level 1: after class, try to talk with your parents and get to know what they like and don’t like, and see whether they have the same idea with you about different kinds of food.
level 2: get on the internet and try to find out different customs in different countries for different kinds of food.
