巧记身体各部分

头是head顶着天，眼是eye在上边，鼻子nose居中间，小嘴mouth再下方，耳朵ear 分两旁。胳膊arm 伸得长，小手hand 干活忙。大腿leg粗又壮，双脚fat有力量。多动脑，巧记忆，这就是身体body的各部分。

从"脚"到"英尺"

单词"foot"指脚，同时也有英尺的意思。那么"脚"和"英尺"又有什么联系呢？

原来，英国曾经有一段时期，各地的长度单位很不一致，于是，为了把它们统一起来，英王便让大臣量下自己的脚的长度，作为标准尺的长度，从此"foot"就有了"英尺"的意思。【中考热点】

四说say speak tell talk

这四个词都表示“说”，但说的方式和内容不同

Say: 1. say something + 语言

2. say to somebody -------------强调说的内容

3. say to oneself

Speak: 1. speak + 语言

2. Could I speak to sb, please? -----强调说话能力或方式

Talk: 1. talk with sb / talk to sb

2. talk about sth -------------------强调相互之间的谈话

3. speak at the meeting

Tell: 1. tell sb sth / tell sb to do sth---------强调告诉他人
