1.We are gaining something, or losing something, every day. Even when our

position and our character seem to remain precisely the same, they are changing.

For the mere advance of time is a change. It is not the same thing to have a bare field in January and in July. The season makes the difference. The limitations that are childlike in the child are childish in the man.

2.To combat fear, the best strategy is to learn to bring your attention back to the

present.Mark Twain said,‘I have been through some terribl e things in my life, some of which actually happened.I don’t think I can say it any better.Practice keeping your attention on the here and now.Your efforts will pay great dividends.

3.On the flip side,we also postpone our gratification, our stated priorities, and our

happiness, often convincing ourselves that ‘someday’ will be better than

today.Unfortunately, the same mental dynamics that tell us to look toward the future will only repeat themselves so that "someday " never actually arrives.

4.For this is the greatest secret of success in all ventures. Muscle can split a shield

and even destroy life but only the unseen power of love can open the hearts of men and until I master this art I will remain no more than a peddler in the market

place. I will make love my greatest weapon and none on whom I call can defend against its force.

5.And how will I confront each whom I meet? In only one way. In silence and myself

I will address him and say “I love you”. Though spoken in silence these words will

shine in my eyes, unwrinkled my brow, bring a smile to my lips, and echo in my voice; and his heart will be opened.

6.Being grateful is an important philosophy of life and a great wisdom. It is

impossible for anyone to be lucky and successful all the time so long as he lives in the world. Smile and so will it when you cry to it. If you are grateful to life, it will bring you shining sunlight.

7.What is Love? The eternal question we all carry around deep within our heart.

Love is the eternal search. Love is eternal when we find it. But do we really ever find it? When we define it do we negate it? When we set limits on what we believe to be love do we begin to destroy it by hoping to understand or own it for

ourselves?

8.There are those who are asking the devotees of civil rights, "When will you be

satisfied?" We can never be satisfied as long as the Negro is the victim of the unspeakable horrors of police brutality. We can never be satisfied as long as our bodies, heavy with the fatigue of travel, cannot gain lodging in the motels of the highways and the hotels of the cities.

9.T he past is gone and static. Nothing we can do will change it. The future is before

us and dynamic. Everything we do will effect it. Each day will bring with it new frontiers, in our homes and in our businesses, if we will only recognize them. We are just at the beginning of the progress in every field of human endeavor.

10.Industry keeps bright the key that opens the treasury of achievement. If Miller,

after toiling all day in a quarry, had devoted his evenings to rest and recreation, he would never have become a famous geologist. The celebrated mathematician, would never have published a mathematical dictionary, never have found the key to science of mathematics,
