2022年江苏省初中英语听力口语自动化考试纲要(朗读短文)

2022年江苏省初中英语听力口语自动化考试纲要(朗读短文)1My favourite festival is the Chinese New Year. People usually clean their houses before the New Year's Day. All the family members come back home from faraway places, because it's time to get together. They have a big and delicious dinner on the New Year's Eve. Then they watch TV till midnight. When the clock strikes 12, people say goodbye to the old year and welcome the new one in different ways. On the morning of the New Year's Day, people wear new clothes and visit their friends and relatives. Most of them prefer red because they think red can bring good luck.2Many young people are now giving up their spare time to become volunteers. It is a very meaningful activity because volunteering helps and gives support to different groups in society.Young people can choose to volunteer in many different charities and projects. For example, I do voluntary work for two charities: the first one gives help and support to homeless people, and the second one takes care of the disabled people.Another choice is to take part in special projects or events to raise money for charity. Some people take part in charity walks, or they donate money to charities. You can even organize one of these events yourself.3Dear Sir,I would like to recommend Daniel for this year's Young Star Award.Daniel is a clever boy. He learns things quickly. Time seems to go faster when we are reading interesting books.8Tan Dun is one of the greatest artists in the world today. When he was very young, Tan showed an interest in music. To him, the best music comesfrom nature. As he likes the sounds of nature, Tan uses them a lot in his music. For example, in one of his works,Water, he doesn't use any musical instruments. He makes over 50 sounds from water by controlling the speed of water flow. That's really amazing!Tan has successfully brought Chinese and Western music together. He has helped build a bridge between the East and the West. In his words, "My music is to dream without boundaries."9UNICEF was set up in 1946 to help children after the war in Europe. Monkeys are clever and funny. Then turn right, and cross the bridge, you'll see the elephants. Their large ears are like open fans. Here you can see all kinds of animals. Have a nice trip!12Mum's birthday is coming next Saturday, so I decided to make her a birthday card by myself. I went to Sandy's home to make the card because Iwanted to keep it secret. I planned to make the card with some roses on it. Sandy helped me with the drawing. We had fun working together. It took me two hours to finish. I coloured the roses red, blue and pink. It is a perfect place for some rare birds. Some people want to make the wetlands smaller in order to have more space for farms and buildings. This will lead to less and less space for wildlife. Now the Chinese government has made laws to protect Zhalong.Wetlands are important because they provide food and shelter for wildlife including some endangered birds, and they also help prevent floods. We must protect the home of plants, fish and birds in Zhalong.15I have to choose a new colour for my bedroom. It's a very important decision, because colour can change a person's mood. I like orange, because it's a happy, warm colour. It can make people feel comfortable. My best friend Jack doesn't agree though. He thinks green is better. Jack says that green represents nature and that it can make you feel energetic. I remind Jack that green is also the colour of envy. My mother recommends blue. She thinks blue is a calm and peaceful colour, so it will make me less stressed and help me relax after school. Perhaps she is right.16Winter is my favourite season. It is very cold and everyone has to wear thick warm clothes, but I always enjoy the winter here in Harbin. The temperature is usually below zero and it is often snowy. During this season, you cannot see beautiful flowers or green trees, but the landis quiet and beautiful. My friends and I love playing outside in winter. It is exciting to have big snowball fights. We also make snowmen and use carrots for their noses. They look funny.Winter is great!17I went to Hainan with my parents in February. To my surprise, he has decided to donate his body for medical research after his death. When I was a little girl, I could not understand why my father always seemed to be kinder to others than to his own family. Now I realize that he has a heart full of love.21My ideal school starts at 8 a.m. and finishes at 3 p.m. I love sports and computers, so we have PE and computer lessons every day. You should not eat with your mouth open or talk with food in your mouth. However, I can provide a sample text for you to practice your speaking skills for the CET-4 oral exam:Title: The Importance of Learning a Foreign LanguageLearning a foreign language is not just a fun hobby or a way to impress people at parties, it is a skill that can open up a world of opportunities. In today's globalized world, being able to communicate in more than one language is a valuable asset that can give you a competitive edge in the job market and broaden your horizons. One of the biggest benefits of learning a foreign language is the ability to communicate with people from different cultures. By speaking their language, you can gain deeper insights into their customs, traditions, and way of life. This can help you develop empathy and understanding for people who are different from you, and build bridges across cultural divides.Learning a foreign language can also improve your cognitive abilities. So, if you have the opportunity, don't hesitate to take up a language course and start reaping the benefits of being multilingual. Your future self will thank you for it!。

英语朗诵短文3分钟

英语朗诵短文3分钟Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls,Good evening, and welcome to our English recitation event. Tonight, we are here to celebrate the beauty of the English language through the power of words. As we embark on this journey, let us remember that each word we speak has the potential to inspire, to educate, and to connect us all.In the vast expanse of literature, there are countless gems that have stood the test of time, each one a testament to the human spirit and our collective imagination. Tonight, I am honored to share with you a piece that has resonated with me deeply. It is a short story that speaks to the heart of what it means to be human, to dream, and to strive for something greater than ourselves.Once upon a time, in a small village nestled between the rolling hills and the sparkling sea, there lived a young girl named Emily. She was a curious child, always asking questions and exploring the world around her. Her eyes were filled with wonder, and her heart was full of dreams.Emily's village was a place where time seemed to stand still. The days were filled with the laughter of children, the chatter of the marketplace, and the rhythmic sound of the ocean waves. But Emily's mind was always wandering, always seeking something more. One day, as she sat by the shore, gazing out at the horizon, she noticed a ship in the distance. It was a magnificent vessel, with sails billowing in the wind, and it seemed to call out to her. Emily's heart swelled with excitement, and she knew that she had to see what lay beyond the horizon. As she grew older, Emily's dreams of adventure only grew stronger. She spent her days learning about the world, studying maps and charts, and listening to the tales of travelers who passed through her village. Each story fueled her desire to explore, to discover, and to experience allthat life had to offer. Finally, the day came when Emily could wait no longer. She packed her bags, said her goodbyes, and set off on her journey. The world was vast and full of mystery, and she was determined to see it all.Emily's travels took her to far-off lands, where she encountered people of different cultures and languages. She learned to appreciate the diversity of the world and the richness of human experience. Each new place she visited only deepened her understanding of the interconnectedness of all things.Through her adventures, Emily discovered that the world was not just a place to explore, but also a place to learn, to grow, and to find one's purpose. She realized that the true treasure of life was not found in distant lands, but within the heart of every person she met.As Emily returned to her village, she carried with her the wisdom of her travels and the knowledge that she had gained. She shared her stories with the people of her village, inspiring them to dream and to seek their own adventures. And so, Emily's legacy lived on, a testament to the power of dreams and the importance of following one's heart. Her story serves as a reminder that no matter where we come from, weall have the potential to make a difference in the world.Thank you for joining me on this journey through the words of Emily's story. May we all find the courage to pursue our dreams and to embrace the adventures that life has to offer.Thank you.。

2024北京中考英语听说朗读文本全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1A Day at the ZooHi there! My name is Emily and I'm 10 years old. I want to tell you all about my amazing day at the zoo last weekend. It was the best day ever!On Saturday morning, my mom woke me up really early. I was kinda grumpy at first because who likes getting up before the sun? But then she told me we were going to the zoo and I got super excited! I love animals, especially the big furry ones like lions and bears. We had a quick breakfast of cereal and orange juice, and then we were off. Dad drove us to the zoo which is on the other side of the city. The drive took forever but I didn't mind because I was daydreaming about all the cool animals I would get to see. Finally, we arrived and I could hardly contain my excitement. The zoo entrance had this huge elephant statue that was taller than a tree! We bought our tickets and went inside. The firstthing we saw was the bird sanctuary. There were so many pretty birds with bright feathers flying around. I saw toucans, macaws, flamingos and even a funny-looking bird called a shoebill stork. It looked like it was wearing a giant shoe for a beak!Next, we walked over to the big cat area. That's where they keep the lions, tigers, leopards and other fierce felines. The lions were so majestic, just lounging around in the sun. But then one of them let out this incredible roar that made me jump! The tiger was pacing back and forth, looking very sleek and dangerous. I wouldn't want to meet one of those in a dark alley! After the big cats, we went to see the apes and monkeys. They were hilarious, swinging from branch to branch and making funny noises. My favorite was the orangutan - it looked so silly with its long arms and furry orange hair. One of the chimps started picking its nose and then ate it! Gross, but also kinda funny. For lunch, we had hot dogs and fries at a little restaurant inside the zoo. I got ketchup all over my face because I was eating too fast. I was just so excited to get back and see more animals! In the afternoon, we saw the bears, both polar bears and grizzly bears. The polar bear was splashing around in a big poolof water which looked really refreshing on such a hot day. The grizzly bear was napping and letting out these funny snoring sounds. I wouldn't want to wake him up, that's for sure! Finally, we went to see the elephants, giraffes and zebras in the African safari area. The baby elephant was sooo cute, following its mom around and using its trunk like a little snorkel in the water. The giraffes had the longest necks and tongues I've ever seen - one of them actually licked my face with its giant purple tongue! And the zebras were beautiful with their black and white stripes.By the end of the day, my feet were sore from all the walking but I had the biggest smile on my face. We stopped at the gift shop on the way out and I got a stuffed lion that I named Leo. I can't wait to go back to the zoo again someday. It was the best day ever!篇2Hi everyone! My name is Lily and I'm a 6th grader at Beijing Elementary School. Today I want to tell you all about my daily life and what a typical day is like for me.I wake up pretty early, around 6:30am, because I have to get ready for school. My mom makes me a healthy breakfast, usuallysome congee with vegetables or an egg sandwich. I don't like to skip breakfast because then I feel really tired at school. At 7:30am, I leave for school. My dad drives me most days, but sometimes I take the school bus if he has an early meeting at work. The drive to school takes about 20 minutes because there's a lot of traffic in the mornings. I really enjoy listening to music or an audiobook in the car to pass the time.My first class starts at 8:15am. We have lots of different subjects like math, Chinese, English, science, and history. My favorite is probably English because I find learning another language super interesting and fun! We get a short break at10am where we can have a snack and play outside for 15 minutes. After the morning classes, we have lunch in the cafeteria at 11:45am. The food is pretty good - they have different options like noodles, rice dishes, and vegetables. My friends and I like to trade food sometimes to try new things. In the afternoon from 1pm to 4pm, we have more classes like art, music, and P.E. P.E. is my least favorite because I'm not very athletic or coordinated. But I know it's important to exercise and stay active. Art class is really enjoyable for me since I love painting and being creative.Once school is over at 4pm, I head home and have a little free time before starting homework. I'll watch some TV, play outside, or read for fun. Having some downtime helps me recharge after a long day.I start my homework around 5:30pm. I have assignments for almost every subject, so it takes me a couple of hours to get through it all. Sometimes I get frustrated when there's a lot of work, but my parents remind me that it's important to develop good study habits. We have family dinner at 7:30pm. My mom is an amazing cook and always makes really delicious homemade Chinese dishes. We'll talk about our days and my parents ask me how things are going at school. Having that family time is one of my favorite parts of the day. After dinner around 8:30pm, I relax by watching a show or playing games on my tablet. I try not to use too much screen time though, so I'll also read books, draw, or play board games sometimes. My parents make me start getting ready for bed at 9pm.I go to sleep around 9:30pm so I can be well-rested for the next day. Even though I'm just a kid, I stay pretty busy with school, activities, homework, and more. But I know it's importantto work hard now so I can have opportunities later on. I feel very lucky to be able to get a good education. That's a typical day in my life! Being a 6th grader in Beijing keeps me busy for sure, but I really appreciate all the chances I have to learn and grow. Thanks for listening, and let me know if you have any other questions!篇3Hi there! My name is Lily and I'm 10 years old. I go to Beida Elementary School here in Beijing. Today I want to tell you all about my summer vacation last year. It was the best summer ever!It started off with a big family trip. My mom, dad, little brother Tao, and I went to Hainan Island down in the very south of China. We stayed at this awesome beach resort with a huge pool, waterslides, and everything! The beach itself was beautiful with soft white sand and bright blue ocean water. I spent hours every day swimming, building sandcastles, and looking for little crabs and shells. One of the coolest things we did was go snorkeling. We all got to wear masks and tubes to breathe underwater and see the coral reefs and tropical fish up close. There were so many colors -bright yellow fish, striped purple ones, even some that were almost transparent! I saw a sea turtle which was incredible. Tao got a little scared at first being underwater but then he loved watching the fish swim all around us.Another day, we went on a boat tour around the island. The guide told us all about the history of Hainan and how it used to be underwater millions of years ago. We saw these huge rock formations sticking up out of the ocean that used to be ancient mountains! We also got to stop at a little fishing village and I tried my first-ever fresh coconut drink straight from a coconut. It was so delicious and refreshing on such a hot day. After a week in Hainan, we travelled to my grandparents' hometown of Xi'an to visit them for a few days. That's where my dad grew up. I love going there because the city is full of such cool history. We always visit these incredible terracotta warrior statues that were buried underground for over 2000 years before being discovered! Can you imagine that? Thousands of life-sized soldier sculptures all standing at attention. My mind was blown thinking about how long they had been there. My grandparents live in a traditional courtyard house in the Muslim Quarter neighborhood. That's where my grandpa's ancestors are from. The narrow streets are packed with tinyshops, markets, and restaurants. Everything smells so good from all the street food - skewers of lamb kebabs, warm naan bread, and my favorite - hand-pulled noodles! You can watch the chefs stretching and twisting the dough into long noodles right in front of you. I tried making them myself but it's much harder than it looks! One night we went to this amazing fountain show at the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It's this gigantic historic pagoda that's been around for over 1300 years! The show combined lights, music, water fountains, and even fire at some points. The water would dance and change colors in time to traditional Chinese music playing. The grand finale featured the whole pagoda appearing to be on fire with bright red and orange light projections. It looked like a burning torch against the night sky. So cool! After Xi'an, we headed back to Beijing but stopped for a few days at my aunt and uncle's place in Chengde. They live in this gorgeous villa surrounded by mountains. We went on some fun hikes and swam in the rivers and streams in the area. One day we visited these amazing imperial summer gardens and palaces built way back in the 1700s. The Chinese emperors used to escape Beijing's heat by vacationing there. The gardens hadpavilions, temples, bridges, and even a replica of a Tibetan Buddhist monastery! The last stop on our trip was Inner Mongolia to visit some nomadic families living out in the vast grasslands there. That was a really unique experience! We stayed in traditional Mongolian yurts which are circular tents made of wood and canvas. At night, we would sit around a fire, drink milk tea, and listen to folks play traditional instruments and sing throatsinging songs. It was like nothing I'd ever heard before!During the days, we went on horseback rides across the wide open prairies and hiked up grassy hills. The landscape looked like it went on forever with no trees or buildings in sight, just sporadic herds of cows, sheep, and horses roaming free. One afternoon, some of the nomads showed us how they practice archery on horseback, which was their main hunting method traditionally. They were such excellent riders and incredible archers to be able to do both at once. I just about fell off my horse trying it!We also got to participate in an authentic Mongolian barbecue one evening. It involved digging a pit in the ground, filling it with hot coals and rocks, and then putting a grated rack over the top to cook all the meat and vegetables. Everything wasso flavorful and tender cooked that way! For dessert, we had thick yogurt drinks and sweet rice biscuits. It was all absolutely delicious.Well, that was pretty much my amazing summer travels last year! I had such an awesome time experiencing so many different cultures, foods, activities, and sights all across China. From beach vacations to historic cities to staying with nomads on the grasslands, it was the trip of a lifetime. I feel so lucky to have had that opportunity and made so many wonderful memories. Can't wait for more adventures this summer!篇4Hi there! I'm Jia Ming and I'm 11 years old. I just finished 5th grade at Huaxia Elementary School here in Beijing. I had such an exciting year and can't wait to tell you all about it!The best thing that happened was getting a new English teacher, Mr. Davis. He's from Canada and speaks perfect English of course. Having a native speaker as our English teacher made learning the language so much fun. In the past, English class could be a little boring with just our Chinese teachers. But Mr. Davis always had us playing games and singing songs to practice vocabulary and grammar. My favorite game was "Quotation Marks" where we had to listen carefully as Mr. Davis read a quote or famous saying and then put our hands up in the shape of quotation marks around our faces whenever he paused talking. If we messed up the hand motions, we were out! It was such a silly game but really helped me concentrate on understanding full sentences in English.Another highlight was when we did reader's theater and acted out stories and plays from our English textbooks. I got to be Goldilocks and had so many lines to memorize! Speaking all that English dialogue in front of my classmates wasnerve-wracking at first, but it ended up being a blast. Now I'm way more confident speaking English out loud.Outside of class, I tried to immerse myself in English as much as possible. My parents signed me up for an English learning app that had cool animated videos teaching vocabulary, pronunciation, and more. I loved collecting points and badges for completing lessons. We also started watching some movies and shows in English at home with Chinese subtitles, like the new Disney remakes of classic animated films. While I couldn't understand everything, I caught more words and phrases than I expected. The highlight of my English adventures though was my first time traveling abroad with my family over winter break. We went to Singapore and I was amazed that I could understand and communicate so much better than when we last traveled a few years ago before I started intensively studying English. Ordering food, asking directions, and making simple conversation was pretty easy. Singapore was also an awesome place to visit with amazing attractions like Gardens by the Bay and the giant Ferris wheel on the waterfront. When we came back to Beijing, my English skills had improved so much that I got moved up to an advanced English class for 6th grade next year. I'm excited but also a little nervous because it will be super challenging. The advanced class has students way ahead of me who have been taking extra English tutoring forever. I'll have to work twice as hard to catch up to their level. That's not going to stop me from trying my best though! My biggest goal for the upcoming school year is to read my first full novel in English. I'm already practicing by reading short children's books like the Dog Man series. I can understand most of the vocabulary and basic plot pretty well, especially with the funny illustrations providing context clues. Someday I hope tomove on to the Harry Potter books, which look so thick and intimidating but are supposed to be modern classics. As you can probably tell, learning English is my biggest passion right now. My dream is to become an interpreter working at big events and businesses dealing with international affairs. How cool would it be to translate for world leaders, athletes, and celebrities?! With hard work and determination, I'm confident I can make this dream a reality. The world is becoming such an interconnected place and having English skills opens up so many opportunities.Well, that's enough from me. Writing this all out has me even more fired up to continue leveling up my English over the next year. Wish me luck in 6th grade! I'll do my best to make my family, my teachers, and myself proud. Thanks for reading and talk to you again soon!篇5大家好!我是小明,今天给大家分享一下我最喜欢的动物——熊猫。

The Love of BeautyThe love of beauty is an essential part of all healthy human nature. It is a moral quality. The absence of it is not an assured ground of condemnation, but the presence of it is an invariable sign of goodness of heart. In proportion to the degree in which it is felt will probably be the degree in which nobleness and beauty of character will be attained.Natural beauty is an all-pervading presence. The universe is its temple. It unfolds into the numberless flowers of spring. It waves in the branches of trees and the green blades of grass. It haunts the depths of the earth and the sea. It gleams from the hues of the shell and the precious stone. And not only these minute objects but the oceans, the mountains, the clouds, the stars, the rising and the setting sun---all overflow with beauty. This beauty is so precious, and so congenial to our tenderest and noblest feelings, that it is painful to think of the multitude of people living in the midst of it and yet remaining almost blind to it.All persons should seek to become acquainted with the beauty in nature. There is not a worm we tread upon, nor a leaf that dances merrily as it falls before the autumn winds, but calls for our study and admiration. The power to appreciate beauty not merely increases our sources of happiness---it enlarges our moral nature, too. Beauty calms our restlessness and dispels our cares. Go into the fields or the woods, spend a summer day by the sea or the mountains, and all your little perplexities and anxieties will vanish. Listen to sweet music, and your foolish fears and petty jealousies will pass away. The beauty of the world helps us to seek and find the beauty of goodness. (305words)What I Have Lived forThree passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, have governed my life: the longing for love, the search of knowledge, and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind. These passions, like great winds, have blown me hither and thither, in a wayward course, over a deep ocean of anguish, reaching to the very verge of despair.I have sought love, first, because it brings ecstasy - ecstasy so great that I would often have sacrificed all the rest of my life for a few hours of this joy. I have sought it, next, because it relieves loneliness -that terrible loneliness in which one shivering consciousness looks over the rim of the world into the cold unfathomable abyss. I have sought it, finally, because in the union of love I have seen, in a mystic miniature, the prefiguring vision of the heaven that saints and poets have imagined. This is what I sought, and though it might seem too good for human life, this is what-at last-I have found. With equal passion I have sought knowledge. I have wished to understand the hearts of men. I have wished to know why the stars shine. And I have tried to apprehend the Pythagorean power by which number holds sway the flux. A little of this, but most of much, I have achieved.Love and knowledge, so far as they were possible, led upward the heavens. But always pity brought me back to earth. Echoes of cries of pain reverberate in my heart. Children in famine, victims tortured by oppressors, helpless old people a hated burden to their sons, and the whole world of loneliness, poverty, and pain make a mockery of what human life should be. I long to alleviate the evil, but I cannot, and I too suffer. This has been my life. I have found it worth living, and would gladly live it again if the chance were offered me. (318words)The Faculty of DelightAmong the mind’s powers is one that comes of itself to many children and artists. It need not be lost, to the end of his days, by anyone who has ever had it. This is the power of taking delight in a thing, or rather in anything, everything, not as a means to some other end, but just because it is what it is, as the lover dotes on whatever may be the traits of the beloved object. A child in the full health of his mind will put his hand flat on the summer turf, feel it, and give a little shiver or private gleeat the elastic firmness of the globe. He is not thinking how well it will do for some game or to feed mistress’s money. The child’s is sheer affection, the true ecstatic sense of the thing’s inherent characteristics. No matter what the things may be, no thrilling unique look and feel of its own, like a face; the iron astringently cool under its paint, the painted wood familiarly warmer, the clod crumbling enchantingly down in the hands, with its little dry smell of the sun and of hot nettles; each common thing a personality marked by delicious differences. The joy of an Adam new to the garden and just looking round is brought by the normal child to the things that he does as well as those that mankind can give him a mystical exaltation: to come home with his legs, as the French say, re-entering his body from the fatigue of helping the gardener to weed beds sends him to sleep in the glow of a beatitude that is an end in itself…The right education, if we could find it, would work up this creative faculty of delight into all its branching possibilities of knowledge, wisdom, and nobility. Of all three it is the beginning, condition, or raw material. (317 words)。

英语口语专项训练一、朗读短文(1)Everyone needs friends. There is an old saying, Friends are God's way of taking care of us. But how do you find real friendship and keep it? First, you should choose a friend, What makes a good friend? It is not money or good looks. A good friend should be kind and patient. For example, if you have a bad day, a good friend should listen to your complaints and do his or her best to help. To make a friend, you cannot be too shy. You should make each other happy and share your lives. But things cannot always go smoothly. Even the best of friends have fights. What should you do when you have a fight with your friend? You have to talk to him or her. When you are alone, with your friend, have an honest talk. If he or she doesn't want to talk, you could write a letter. There are three steps to being friends again Tell him or her how you are feeling; say what your friend has done wrong; and explain why you acted as you did. Remember that friendship is the most important thing in your life.(2)No air means death. Although we can't see it, there is air around us. Air is everywhere and it gives life to every living thing. Bad air makes people ill. We must have fresh air to keep us in good health. In the city, there are a great many people and there are too many cars on the road. The exhaust fumes the cars give out are full of poison. Every day we breathe them in and out. This makes us feel sick. Besides cars, there are many factories, too. From the chimneys of these factories we get smoke, usually in a black or grey color. This kind of smoke, when it is mixed with air, is dangerous to our health. So in order to keep ourselves healthy we have to go out to the countryside to breathe fresher air. Or we can go up hills to get fresher air.(3)All around the world, people drink tea. But tea does not mean the same thing to everyone. In different countries people have very different ideas about drinking tea. In China people like to have tea together with their friends. They may drink tea at any time of the day. They put only tea leaves in their cups. They prefer the tea with nothing else in it. Tea is also important in Japan. It is very popular there. People drink tea every day. But they have it in a way different from that in China. In the USA people drink tea at breakfast or after meals. They usually use tea bags to make their tea. Making tea with tea bags is faster and easier than making it with leaves in teapots.(4)We have a radio station in our school. It is great because it is run by the students for the school. It started two years ago. And I have been a student member of the radio station for two years. Every morning we Jell the students about the weather and latest news, pits some special messages that the teachers want us to mention. During exam time we have a special program that tells students the things they should or shouldn't do in preparation. At the end of the school year, many students who are going to graduate use our station to send messages to their close friends and teachers. When parents come to visit the school and talk to the teachers in the evening, we always play songs sung by the students, and we also report special events to the parents, such as outings and school plays.(5)New York, London, Paris and some other cities are exciting places to live. There are many interesting things to see and to do. You can go to different kinds of museums, plays and films. You can also buy things from all over the world. But there are serious problems in big cities, too. It is expensive to live there, and there are too many people in some places in big cities. Every year many people move to the cities to find work, study at good schools and receive good medical care. But sometimes these people can't find work or good places to live. Also it is hard to keep big cities safe and clean. Some people enjoy living in big cities, others do not. Before people move to a big city, they should think about the problems they might encounter there.。

We should take action to protect them right away.10New York, London, Paris and many other cities are exciting places to live. 1.英语四级作文经典范文有哪些Almost every university has been installed the rating system。

However, this phenomenon has aroused great controversy。

Some people are in favor of this rating system。

They hold that students are the receiver of the knowledge and teaching activity and they have the right to evaluate teachers' teaching。

But other people are against it。

They believe that the rating system is partial and will influence the normal teaching order。

As faras I am concerned, students'rating of their teacher is necessary。

On the one hand, students can find a more effective way for their study。

On the other hand, teachers can be aware of their teaching effectiveness and make some necessary improvement。

In a word, it is a good method of benefiting both learning and teaching。

Nevertheless, many travel agencies or agents are reported to cheat their customers and make money in a dishonest way。

We can also bring in books and magazines from home. I often read more books than my classmates. Near the end of the week, we discuss the books with our classmates in class. Time seems to go faster when we are reading interesting books.6(New)Recently we did a survey in our class in order to learn about students’ ideal jobs. Here’s a report about my group members’ ideas.Mary wants to be a teacher when she grows up. She is very patient and enjoys working withchildren. Now, she is interested in all the subjects and works very hard. Mike would like to be a writer. He is willing to share his wonderful stories with others. Now he keeps reading and writing every day. I want to be a dancer because I like dancing very much. I practice dancing every day.Hopefully, everyone can realize their dreams in the future.7Zhalong Nature Reserve is in North-east China. It is one of the world's most important wetlands. The area provides food and cover for a lot of wildlife. We must protect the home of plants, fish and birds in Zhalong.8We are going to hold a talk on good table manners this afternoon. The purpose is to teach students rules for eating. There will be a lot of advice on table manners. Above all, when you are sitting at the table, you should not start eating until everyone is ready, and it is impolite to make too much noise while you are eating or drinking. You should not eat with your mouth open or talk with food in your mouth. Before you leave the table, wait for everyone to finish. These rules are important because we should make sure that both guests and hosts are comfortable at the table.9New York, London, Paris and many other cities are exciting places to live. There are lots of interesting things to see and do.But there are serious problems in big cities too. It is expensive to live there, and there are too many people. Every year many people move to the cities to find work, study at good schools and receive high-quality medical care. But sometimes these people can't find work or good places to live. Also it is hard to keep big cities safe and clean. So, before people move to a big city, they should think about these problems they might have to deal with there.10Dear Sir,I would like to recommend Daniel for this year's Young Star Award.Daniel is a clever boy. He learns things quickly. He always thinks carefully when he works. He plans everything well.Daniel is really kind. Last week, a five-year-old boy lost his way and was crying in the street. Daniel saw him and took him to the police station. He stayed with the boy and played with him for two hours before the boy's parents came. All the members at the Helping Hands Club think that Daniel should get the award. We look forward to hearing from you soon.Yours,Sandy11Our environment is changing for the worse, so it is time for us to go green. Here are some simple steps to take at home.We can save water by taking shorter showers and turning off the tap when we brush our teeth. In order to save power, we should turn off the lights when we leave a room. Some other good habits can help reduce pollution too. We should not use plastic bags when shopping. Recycling is also a good way to help reduce pollution. We should separate waste into different groups so that it can be recycled.Follow these small steps, and you can make a big difference to the Earth!12Tan Dun is one of the greatest artists in the world today. When he was very young, Tan showed an interest in music. To him, the best music comes from nature. As he likes sounds of nature, Tan uses them a lot in his music. For example, in one of his works, Water, he doesn’t use any musical instruments. He makes over 50 sounds from water by controlling the speed of water flow. That’s really amazing!Tan has successfully brought Chinese and Western music together. He has helped build a bridge between the East and the West. In his words, “My music is to dream without boundaries.”13Hello, everyone!I've got some great news for you today. Our school basketball team is in the final round of the basketball competition! All the big pop stars will attend. Before the awards start, we will interview some of the most famous stars. Two thousand fans have voted online for their favourite songs, singers and music videos. The results will be announced during the programme and the host will ask questions for the viewers to answer. As you are watching the awards, write down your answers and send text messages to 1396. If you are lucky enough, you could win two free concert tickets.15Winter is my favourite season. It is very cold and everyone has to wear thick warm clothes, but I always enjoy the winter here in Harbin. The temperature is usually below zero and it is often snowy. Everything is covered in deep white snow, and the lakes and rivers are frozen.During this season, you cannot see beautiful flowers or green trees, but the land is quiet and beautiful. My friends and I love playing outside in winter. It is exciting to have big snowball fights. We also make snowmen and use carrots for their noses. They look funny.Winter is great!16Hi, everyone. Here we’re in front of the South Gate. Go straight on, you’ll find the Panda House. Pandas like to eat bamboo and lie down all day long.Walk along the road. To the north of the Panda House, you’ll find the lion. Lions are the kings of the animal world.Turn left, you’ll find the World of Birds. Birds make beautiful sounds. To the north the World of Birds is the Monkey s’ Forest. Monkeys are clever and funny. Then turn right, and cross the bridge, you’ll see the elephants. Their large ears are like open fans. Here you can see all kinds of animals. Have a nice trip!17All around the world, people drink tea. But tea does not mean the same thing to everyone. In different countries people have very different ideas about drinking tea.In China people like to have tea together with their friends. They drink tea at any time of the day. They put only tea leaves in their cups. They prefer tea with nothing in it.Tea is also popular in Japan. People have tea every day. But the way they drink it is different from that in China. In the USA people drink tea at breakfast or after meals. They usually use tea bags to make their tea.18Many young people are now giving up their spare time to become volunteers. You can even organize one of these events yourself.19We need to do something for giant pandas. They are now in danger. For example, giant pandas do not have many babies during their lives, and it's easy for baby pandas to get sick and die when they are very young. Also, giant pandas mainly live on a special kind of bamboo, so the bamboo forests are very important to them. However, the bamboo forests are becoming smaller and smaller. As a result, giant pandas may not have a place to live or food to eat. There are now only about 1,600 pandas in the wild. We should take action to protect them right away.20My dream home is at the foot of a hill. It has three floors. There is a football field behind my house and a swimming pool beside it.There’s a kitchen and a home cinema on the ground floor. The kitchen is very clean. There is always more than enough food there. The cinema has a large TV. I would like to invite my friends to watch films with me at the weekend. On the first floor, there are six bedrooms. Each room has a new computer and all the beds are comfortable. There are two large rooms on the second floor. My friends and I have parties there. It is great fun!21Dear Millie,Thank you very much for your letter. I hope I can offer you some useful advice. You said you often stay up late to finish all your homework. Plan your day carefully. Make a list of all the homework you have. Then work out how much time you need to finish it all. This will give you an idea of how much spare time you have. You also said that you do not have enough time for your hobbies. What about choosing your hobby according to the time you have?I hope you think my advice is worth taking.Best wishes,Helen22I have to choose a new colour for my bedroom. It's a very important decision, because colour can change a person's mood. I like orange, because it's a happy, warm colour. It can make people feel comfortable. My best friend Jack doesn't agree though. He thinks green is better. Jack saysthat green represents nature and that it can make you feel energetic. I remind Jack that green is also the colour of envy. My mother recommends blue. She thinks blue is a calm and peaceful colour, so it will make me less stressed and help me relax after school. Perhaps she is right.23Dinosaurs lived on the Earth a long time ago. We now know that the first dinosaurs appeared about 230 million years ago. There were hundreds of different kinds of dinosaurs, but they didn't live at the same time. Some dinosaurs were really small. One of the smallest dinosaurs was about one metre long and weighed about three kilograms. Others were really big. Some very large ones weighed over 100,000 kilograms and some were about 40 metres long. Some dinosaurs ate plants and others ate meat, but they didn't eat grass. All dinosaurs had four legs and lived on land.24I went to Hainan with my parents in February. Hainan lies in the south of China.Haikou is the capital city of Hainan Province. There are many famous attractions in it. We went to the Holiday Beach, a fantastic place. It was a sunny day, so we took a walk along the beach. We also went to People's Park. We hired a bicycle and rode around the park. It was much fun! Then we went to Sanya. We went to see some underground caves. I took many photos of them. There is so much to see in Hainan. I want to visit it again in the future.25Yao Ming was born in Shanghai in 1980. He got his first basketball when he was only four years old, but he did not become serious about basketball until he was 12. Yao joined the Houston Rockets in 2002 and became the best Chinese player to ever play in the NBA.When Yao Ming lived in the USA, he returned to China whenever he was needed. He took part in the Olympics in 2004 and in 2008 as one of the Chinese athletes. Since he ended his basketball career, Yao has done a lot of charity work, especially for poor Chinese teenagers.26UNICEF was set up in 1946 to help children after the war in Europe. Now, UNICEF helps children all over the world. It works in 158 countries. It helps governments and families make the world a better place for children.UNICEF gets its money from donations. It raises money by selling Christmas cards and organizing other fund-raising activities. People can help UNICEF by doing voluntary work.UNICEF believes that all children should have clean water and food so that they can be healthy. It also believes that they should go to school instead of working to support their families.27(New)Today Daniel and I took an online tour on the website “Around the World in Eight Hours”.Sydney is on the south-east coast of Australia. It is the largest city in Australia. On the website, we saw lots of pictures of Sydney. Sydney is near the sea. There are many beautiful beaches there. We also saw a wonderful building called the Sydney Opera House. It is a theatre and looks like a ship with many sails. Near the Sydney Opera House is the famous Harbour Bridge. People can climb it. It takes about three hours. It is really cool.Australian seasons are the opposite of ours. For example, in April, it is autumn in Australia!28My father has always been kind and helpful. He has donated blood many times since 1990. The blood he has donated is enough to save over 70 lives. He has also donated blood cells to people with blood cancer. To my surprise, he has decided to donate his body for medical research after his death. When I was a little girl, I could not understand why my father always seemed to be kinder toothers than to his own family. Now I realize that he has a heart full of love.29(New)Pollution is one of the biggest problems in the world today. In many places, rubbish is thrown into lakes and rivers, so many of them are polluted. In some cities, the air is filled with pollution.Switzerland is still beautiful with high mountains and clean blue lake. In Switzerland, things like glass, plastic and paper are separated into different groups and then recycled. Even old clothes and shoe can be recycled. The government has many laws to protect the environment. For example, people are not allowed to cut down trees. Otherwise, they will be punished. Remember that everyone can do something to make a difference.30(New)Dear Mum,I am going on a business trip to Shenzhen tomorrow. I have asked my robot to look after you while I am away. You have a serious heart problem and have to take medicine every day. However, you have a poor memory and often forget when you should take your pills. My robot will remind you to take them at the right time. If you want to go out, my robot will help you find your coat. You often feel lonely because you do not know who you can talk to, and my robot will try to do something to make you happy.Take care and I will see you soon!Yours,John。

(1)100%. I speak to you for the first time as Prime Minister in a solemn hour for the life of our country, of our empire, of our allies, and, above all, of the cause of freedom. A tremendous battle is raging in France and Flanders. The Germans, by a remarkable combination of air bombing and heavily armored tanks, have broken through the French defenses north of the Maginot Line, and strong columns of their armored vehicles are ravaging the open country, which for the first day or two was without defenders. They have penetrated deeply and spread alarm and confusion in their track. Behind them there are now appearing infantry in Lorries, and behind them, again, the large masses are moving forward. The re-gourmet of the French armies to make head against and also to strike at, this intruding wedge has been proceeding for several days, largely assisted by the magnificent efforts of the Royal Air Force.(我跟你说话的,就如总理在庄严的气氛小时第一次为我们的国家生活,我们的帝国,我们的盟友,首先是自由的事业。

(2)85%. We must not allow ourselves to be intimidated by the presence of these armored vehicles in unexpected places behind our lines. If they are behind our Front, the French are also at many points fighting actively behind theirs. Both sides are therefore in an extremely dangerous position. And if the French Army, and our own Army, are well handled, as I believe they will be; if the French retain that genius for recovery and counter-attack for which they have so long been famous; and if the British Army shows the dogged endurance and solid fighting power of which there have been so many examples in the past –then, a sudden transformation of the scene might spring into being.(我们不能让自己受到了这些装甲车辆的后面我们的路线意想不到的地方存在吓倒。

(3)75%. It would be foolish, however, to disguise the gravity of the hour. It would be still more foolish to lose heart and courage or to suppose that well-trained, well-equipped armies numbering three or four millions of men can be overcome in the space of a few weeks, or even months, by a scoop, or raid of mechanized vehicles, however formidable. We may look with confidence to the stabilization of the front in France, and to the general engagement of the masses, which will enable the qualities of the French and British soldiers to be matched squarely against those of their adversaries. For myself, I have invincible confidence in the French Army and its leaders. Only a very small part of that splendid Army has yet been heavily engaged; and only a very small part of France has yet been invaded.(那将是愚蠢的,但是,掩盖一小时的严重性。

只有那灿烂的很小一部分军队尚未积极从事,只有很小一部分的法国至今尚未入侵)the gravity of the hour = 形势的严峻性;lose heart = 丧失勇气;by a scoop = 由于运气好;raid = 袭击;mechanized vehicles = 机械化的车辆;formidable = 令人畏惧的;stabilization of the front in France = 法国前线的稳定;engagement = 战斗;matched squarely against = 势均力敌的对手;adversaries = 敌人;invincible confidence = 坚定的信心;heavily engaged = 全体投入战斗;invaded =入侵(4)65%. There is a good evidence to show that practically the whole of the specialized and mechanized forces of the enemy have been already thrown into the battle; and we know that very heavy losses have been inflicted upon them. No officer or man, no brigade or division, which grapples at close quarters with the enemy, wherever encountered, can fail to make a worthy contribution to the general result.(有一个很好的证据表明,几乎在敌人的专业化,机械化整体力量已进入战斗已经抛出,而我们知道,非常沉重的损失已经对他们的伤害。
