强调句学案

在英语中强调句可以用来强调除＿＿＿＿之外的各种句子成分。

I强调句的基本结构为：It is/was+被强调成分+that+其余成分．

分别就划线部分变强调句：

We saw him in the street yesterday.

③_____________________________________________________________.

④__________________________________________________________.

从以上句子可以看出，强调句有以下特点：

1) 强调句的时态要和原句保持一致。例句中使用的均为过去时。

2) 被强调成分若为代词，它的格也要于也要与原句保持一致。

如①强调主语，用主格。

②强调宾语，用宾格。

3) 被强调成分为时间状语时，从句不用_______引导；为地点状语时，不用

_____。而都要使用连词that,如③④。

4) 无论被强调成分为单复数，强调句主句谓语动词要用单数，即

为 It is(was)…that(who)的形式。 * 但若被强调成分是主语，从句谓语动词仍需与之保持一致。如：⑤It is I who am wrong.

5) 强调句可以用作宾语从句。如：

He told me that it was because he was late for class that he was punished.

I really can’t remember where it was that I first met the man.

6）谓语动词的强调

It is/ was … that … 结构不能强调谓语，如果需要强调谓语时，用助动词do/ does 或did。找出下列句子中的强调词。

Do sit down. 务必请坐。

He did write to you last week. 上周他确实给你写了信。

Do be careful when you cross the street. 过马路时，务必（千万）要小心啊！

注意：此种强调只用do/does和did ，没有别的形式；过去时用did，后面的谓语动词用原形。

II强调句的一般疑问句结构： Is/Was it +被强调部分+ that + 其他部分

1. ____________________ goes to the concert with you? (it)

是他经常跟你一起去听音乐会吗？

2. __________________________ chose to settle down in this city? （be）

是你的父母选择在这座城市定居吗？

III强调句的特殊疑问句结构：

特殊疑问词（被强调部分）+is/was +it +that/who + 其他部分

这里不允许抽烟，是什么原因？

IV强调句的“not…until…的强调结构：

It is/ was not until＋被强调部分＋that＋其他部分

1. It was not until months later ________________ living all alone without family and friends around.(adapt)

直到数月之后他才适应了没有家人和朊友在身边的孤独生活。

2. It ____________________ill that he realized how he loved and needed his family.

（fall）直到他生病，他才意识到他多么的爱着他的家人，多么的需要他们。

V判断强调句的方法

判断是否是强调句是，可把It is / was …that 去掉，剩余部分在不增减任何词的情况下还是一个完整的句子，那么这种句子是强调句。

It was in the street that I met her father.

→In the street I met her father.

It was because she was ill that the y didn’t ask her to do the job.

→Because she was ill, they didn’t ask her to do the job.

VI强调句型容易和哪些句型混淆

1. 与定语从句的辨析：

1) It was in the factory that they met for the first time.

2) It was the factory where they met for the first time.

2.与主语从句的辨析：

1) It is the Great Wall that they are going to visit.

2) It is true that they are going to visit the Great Wall.

3）It is very clear that he’s round and tall like a tree.

注意It is/was+名词/形容词+that名词性从句。名词性从句It is/was…that 是不可去掉的，否则that前的名词或形容词就找不到位置，原句也不再成立，如下面这个句子如去掉It is/was…that就不再完整：

3.与状语从句的辨析：

1) It was at 8 o'clock that he arrived home.

2) It was 8 o'clock when he arrived home.
