After decade, it is that I will tell my my child university time so beautiful. When people were born, many things had been determined. Some were given genius, some were not.It#39;s really a hard work that people who had mental problems grown of them had their IQ below 70,some even lower. When they grew up,their mental age would still remain a level of child. The Special Olympics was the game of these people.Started in the year 1968,the special Olympics had developed to have more than 170 countries joined in,and tens of thousand athletes took part in it.Special Olympic players swore:let me win ,but if I cannot win,let me be brave in the attempt. The loof TitanicThe great ship, Titanic, sailed for New YorkfromSouthampton on April 10th, 1912. She was carrying 1316 passengers and a crew of 89l. Even by modern standards, the 46,000 ton Titanic was a colossal ship. At that time, however, she was not only the largest ship that had ever been built, but was regarded as unsinkable, for she had sixteen water- tight compartments. Even if two of these were flooded, she would still be able to float. The tragic sinking of this great liner will always be remembered, for she went down on her first voyage with heavy loof life.Four days after setting out, while the Titanic was sailing acrothe icy waters of the North Atlantic, a huge iceberg was suddenly spotted by a look-out. After the alarm had been given, thegreat ship turned sharply to avoid a direct collision. The Titanic turned just in time, narrowly missing the immense wall of ice which rose over 100 feet out of the water beside her. Suddenly, there was a slight trembling soundfrombelow, and the captain went down to see what had happened. The noise had been so faint that no one thought that the ship had been damaged. Below, the captain realized to his horror that the Titanic was sinking rapidly, for five of her sixteen water-tight compartments had already been flooded ! The order to abandon ship was given and hundreds of people plunged into the icy water. As there were not enough life-boats for everybody, 1500 lives were lost.竞选英语演讲稿篇二Thank you! Oh, thank you all! Thank you so very, very much.It is wonderful to be here with all of you.To be in New York with my family, with so many friends, including many New Yorkers who gaveme the honor of serving them in the Senate for eight years. To be right across the water from the headquarters of the United Nations, where I representedour country many times. To be here in this beautiful park dedicated to Franklin Roosevelt's enduring vision of America, the nation we want to be.And in a place…with absolutely no ceilings. You know, President Roosevelt's Four Freedoms are a testament to our nation's unmatchedaspirations and a reminder of our unfinished work at home and abroad. His legacy lifted up anation and inspired presidents who followed. One is the man I served as Secretary of State,Barack Obama, and another is my husband, Bill Clinton. Two Democrats guided by – Oh, that will make him so happy. They were and are twoDemocrats guided by the fundamental American belief that real and lasting prosperity mustbe built by all and shared by all.President Roosevelt called on every American to do his or her part, and every Americananswered. He said there's no mystery about what it takes to build a strong and prosperousAmerica: "Equality of opportunity…Jobs for those who can work…Security for those who needit…The ending of special privilege for the few…The preservation of civil liberties for all…awider and constantly rising standard of living."That still sounds good to me.It's America's basic bargain. If you do your part, you ought to be able to get ahead. And wheneverybody does their part, America gets ahead too. That bargain inspired generations of families, including my own. It's what kept my grandfather going to work in the same Scranton lace mill every day for 50years.It's what led my father to believe that if he scrimped and saved, his small business – printingdrapery fabric in Chicago – could provide us with a middle-class life. And it did. When President Clinton honored the bargain, we had the longest peacetime expansion inhistory, a balanced budget, and for the first time in decades we all grew together, with thebottom 20 percent of workers increasing their incomes by the same percentage as the top 5percent.When President Obama honored the bargain, we pulled back from the brink ofDepression, saved the auto industry, provided health care to 16 million working people, and replaced thejobs we lost faster than the historical average after a financial crash. But, it's not 1941, or 1993, or even 20xx. We face new challenges in our economy and ourdemocracy. We're still working our way back from a crisis that happened because time-tested values werereplaced by false promises.Instead of an economy built by every American, for every American, we were told that if we letthose at the top pay lower taxes and bend the rules, their success would trickle down toeveryone else.英语演讲稿篇三After being cheated of the meat by the fox, the crow stood on the branchand scolded for three days and three nights.Since then, crows are very wary of foxes, afraid of being cheatedagain. One day, the crow found a piece of meat. It took the meat in its mouth andstopped on the branch to rest.He was very alert. He looked left and right for fear that the meat would becheated by the sly fox again. At this time, the fox is humming a little song in the walk, smelling thesmell of meat, followed the fragrance. After a while, he came to the tree where the crow stopped. When the fox saw that it was a crow, he was very happy. He thought tohimself: This crow is very stupid. Last time he said that his singing was good,he cheated the meat away.It looks like another piece of meat is coming this time.Seeing that it was a fox, the crow immediately hung the meat on the branchand asked warily, "brother fox, I havent seen you for a long time. What are youdoing this time?"The fox said calmly, "its nothing more than to admit the mistake with thebrother crow."The crow said angrily, "brother fox, dont be hurt!"The fox pretended to be a little sad and said, "brother crow, last time Imsorry for you. I lied to you because I was wrong. I deserve to die! This time, you can do whatever you want to do to me!"The crow said, "then you will return the meat you cheated me lasttime."When the fox heard this, he was very angry and forced to bear the anger inhis heart and said: "brother crow, I have eaten the meat last time.I know a place where there is a lot of meat. Its not a long way. I have nostrength. You give me your piece of meat to eat. When I have strength, I willtake two back to you. "The crow listened happily and said, "well, Ill give you the meat." Then hetook the meat off the branch and gave it to the fox.The fox ate the meat and said to the crow, "wait, Ill get the meat foryou." With that, the fox left in a hurry. After a long time, the crow didnt see the fox come back, just suddenlyrealized that he had been cheated again.英语演讲稿篇四Ladies and gentlemen! Good morning! Today, the title of my speech is Improving Beijing's environment for the Olympics. Have you ever seen animals cry? Do you know what makes themcry? It's the polluted world, a dirty world, caused by our irresponsible behaviors, that makes those lovely animals cry. Many of us are smart enough to know how terrible it is to have a world without animals and plants. But some people still persist in making the same errors and harming the environment. What's worse is that people are eating wild animals. Those people don't know, and more importantly, they don't want to know. This kind of behavior has caused some specific problems. For example, medical experts have suggested that eating wild animals helped spread the terrible disease SARS. Now, our world is no longer clean and beautiful. Why? Because air, water, and noise pollution has become more and more serious. Noise pollution makes us talk more loudly and become angry more easily. Water pollution makes our rivers and lakes very dirty. Air pollution is the most serious kind of pollution. Both air pollution and water pollution are not only dangerous to our health, but also dangerous to animals and plants. We're destroying our only world. A large number of trees have been cut down, so a lot of lands have been turned into deserts. Pollution can be seen everywhere! Unquestionably it is essential that we clean up our environment. Sadly, we've not always appreciated the importance of protecting the environment. On the streets, you can see cars producing smog. In the bathrooms, you can see students leaving the water tap on after using them. Not only the young people, but also the elderly ones throw things everywhere without thinking its wrong, even in a beautiful park. These things are taking place every day, even in modern cities like Beijing. We can't do that any more. We must learn how to protect the environment. If everyone is aware of protecting it instead of destroying it, the world can become cleaner, more beautiful, and more peaceful. The theme of Beijing 20xx Olympic Games is "New Peking, New Olympic"。

三分钟英语演讲稿篇1Dear teachers and students:Good afternoon, everyone!Sometimes I will quietly think about what life is. A person comes to this world naked and leaves the world with his bare hands, turns into dust and goes into the universe. A person is just a passer-by of the whole world, whether he is poor or rich. When people come to this world, they will leave something to prove that we have come, study hard and strive for our own ideals. In fact, a persons life is in your own hands, all of which depends on how you do it. Life is in our hands, bold forward, efforts may not be successful, but give up will certainly fail.We should choose a good life when we are young, so that we can have a strong driving force for the learning in front of us.Choosing life is no more than choosing a job. There are two ways to choose your life. For example, choosing life is like buying an egg, picking a fresh egg or buying a rotten egg. It depends on your choice. With a long history and ups and downs, the cruelty of Xia Jie, Shang Zhou and Zhou has long been infamous; Wen Tianxiang died for the country for a long time; Lu Bu killed the Lord and betrayed him and became his father. Zhuge Liang went out of Qishan six times and devoted himself to his death, which is a good storyThe choice of life is only between one thought, life needs to choose, but also needs the right choice.三分钟英语演讲稿篇2Everybody good afternoon:First of all thank the teacher gave me a story in my own future ideal job.Everyone has a dream job. My dream is to become a boss, own a company. In order to achieve my dreams, I need to find a good job, to accumulate some experience and wealth, it is the necessary thingsOf course, in the school good achievement and rich knowledge is also very important. Good achievement and rich experience can let me work to make the right choice, have more opportunities and achievements. At the same time, communication is very important, because it determines whether my company has a good future development. So I need to exercise their communicative ability. I need to use all of the free time to learn all. Because I believe, there is nothing in the world can shake my determination. You will be successful, as your own efforts. So seize the time, we have no time to in the world can change their patience (confidence )。

He is the No. 1 super star of football.Football is a game in which 22 people chase one ball around a large field. The aim of the game is to get the ball into the net to score. After all, it’s such an easy game, and yet people go crazy mad over it. The answer lies in two facts. One is the game itself. Sometimes it is beyond any description. Football is a game of passes and techniques, passion and love, more importantly, unity is the key---the whole team working as one, united they will never be defeated. The European’s style. of play is like a Waltz, the Brazilian like a Samba, and the passionate Argentineans play as if they are doing a Tango. Football is so unpredictable, so unbelievable. You will never know who will win until the last minute. Especially when suddenly there is a goal, the fans who have been sitting on the edge of their seats, will be wild with joy and excitement; and the losers with disappointed hearts will despair over their teams. The other is of course the super stars. Each one has his own personality, just like my idol Ronaldo. When he smiles, we all smile with him. Who can forget that buck-toothed smile, or that unique hairstyle. during the 2019 World Cup. Ronaldo was born to a poor family. He has set an example to children who can’t afford a pair of shoes, but have talent and a passion for football. He gives them confidence and hope of a better future.Football is the game that wins everyone’s heart and the best game ever invented.为什么足球会让人变得疯狂?谁是你的偶像?这可能是拿破仑,毕加索和迈克尔·杰克逊。

Okay, let's stop going around the bush and get back to my topic today.I really like to talk a funny story I have just heard. A lady called Lucy emigrated to United States several years ago.Her spoken English is not that fluent .And one day,she is just sitting on the couch with his U.S friends Mandy watching Sit-Com.A noise of bump had the attention of Mandy, which led her to go out of the house trying to figure out what had happened. Can you imagine that Mandy go straight out with merely a sweater. So Lucy shouted at her,"Lucy ,turn your clothes on." What suprised her most, beyond her wildest imagination, is that almost all the male in this country took their head out of the window.Admittedly,Lucy made a mistake here .The word spitted means Mandy is totally naked to the reason that male looked out of the window. The right sentence shall be,"put your clothing on."The story inspires you to take a careful look on the vast difference between eastern and western culture. 英语演讲稿3分钟范文5篇
英语演讲稿3分钟范文5篇1. 演讲稿一Good morning everyone,I am honored to stand here today and speak to you about my passion – environmental conservation. As we all know, the planet we live on is facing tremendous challenges, from climate change to loss of biodiversity and environmental pollution. But I believe that it is not too late to turn things around, and that each and every one of us has a role to play in creating a more sustainable and livable future. To begin with, we need to recognize the interdependence of all living beings, and the delicate balance that exists in our ecosystems. We cannot continue to exploit natural resources without regard for the long-term consequences, or to pollute our air and water without taking responsibility for the harms we cause. As individuals, we can make a difference by reducing our own carbon footprint, by recycling and conserving resources, and by supporting policies and practices that protect the environment. But we also need to work together, as communities, businesses, and governments, to address the systemic causes of environmental degradation. This means investing in renewable energy, protecting wildlife habitats, and reducing the use of harmful chemicals in agriculture and industry. It means promoting sustainable tourism, designing cities with green spaces and public transportation, and promoting education and awareness about environmental issues. Most importantly, it means recognizing that environmental conservation is not a luxury or an afterthought, but a fundamental aspect of our survival and well-being. We cannot thrive on a planet that is dying, and we cannot achieve social justice and equity without addressing the environmental crises that disproportionately affect the most vulnerable communities. We must prioritize environmental conservation as a core value in our economy, our politics, and our daily lives. In closing, I urge everyone here today to take action in support of environmental conservation. Whether it is by recycling a bottle, volunteering at a local park, or advocating for policy change, every action counts. We owe it to ourselves, to future generations, and to the planet we call home. Thank you.2. 演讲稿二Ladies and gentlemen,It is an honor and privilege to be given the opportunity to speak to you today about such an important topic: diversity and inclusion in the workplace. As we all know, a diverse workforce is not only a moral imperative, but also a business imperative. Studies have shown that diverse teams outperform homogenous ones, and that companies with a diverse workforce are more innovative, adaptable, and profitable. But what does diversity and inclusion in the workplace actually mean? It goes beyond simply hiring people of different races, gender identities, and backgrounds. It means creating a workenvironment that is safe, respectful, and welcoming to all individuals, regardless of their identity or background. It means valuing and respecting the unique perspectives, skills, and experiences that each person brings to the table.Unfortunately, we still have a long way to go before we can say that diversity and inclusion are the norm in the workplace. Too often, individuals from underrepresented groups face obstacles in recruitment, retention, and promotion, due to bias, discrimination, and lack of access to opportunities. This not only harms those individuals, but also limits the potential of the entire organization to achieve its goals and mission. So, what can we do to promote diversity and inclusion in our own workplaces? I believe that there are several strategies that can make a difference. First, we need to acknowledge and address implicit bias. This means recognizing the ways in which our own unconscious biases may affect our decisions, and taking steps to mitigate their impact. It also means increasing our own cultural competence, by learning about different cultures, identities, and experiences.Secondly, we need to ensure that our recruitment and hiring processes are fair and inclusive. This means seeking out diverse candidates, widening the pool of applicants, and using objective criteria to assess qualifications. It also means providing support and training to new hires, to ensure that they feel valued and included from the start. Finally, we need to create a workplace culture that is supportive ofdiversity and inclusion. This means providing opportunities for all employees to learn, grow, and advance, regardless of their background or identity. It means fostering a sense of belonging and community, and encouraging open communication and dialogue. And it means holding ourselves and each other accountable for creating a workplace that reflects our values of respect, equality, and justice. In conclusion, promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace is not only the right thing to do, but also the smart thing to do. By creating a work environment that welcomes and values diversity, we can unlock the full potential of our workforce, and achieve greater innovation, productivity, and success. So let us commit ourselves to this cause, and work together to build a future in which diversity and inclusion are not just buzzwords, but a reality. Thank you.3. 演讲稿三Dear friends,Today, I want to talk to you about a topic that is incredibly close to my heart: mental health. Mental health is an issue that affects us all, whether directly or indirectly. It is estimated that one in four people will experience mental health problems at some point in their lives, and the COVID-19 pandemic has only exacerbated this trend, with rates of depression, anxiety, and stress on the rise around the world. The reasons for this are complex and varied. They include socialand economic inequality, discrimination and stigma, trauma and abuse, and pressures from work, school, and family. But whatever the cause, the impact on individuals and society is profound. Mental health problems can lead to reduced quality of life, impaired relationships, and even suicide. They can also have negative effects on physical health, productivity, and social cohesion. So, what can we do to promote mental health and well-being, both for ourselves and for those around us? First and foremost, we need to recognize that mental health is just as important as physical health, and that seeking help for mental health problems is not a sign of weakness, but of strength. We need to break down the barriers of shame and silence that prevent people from seeking support, and create a culture of openness, acceptance, and empathy.Secondly, we need to promote mental health literacy, by increasing awareness and understanding of mental health issues, and by providing education and training to help individuals and communities recognize the signs and symptoms of mental health problems, and know how to respond. We also need to ensure that mental health services are accessible, affordable, and effective, and that they are integrated with other health and social services. Finally, we need to work together, across sectors and disciplines,to address the root causes of mental health problems, and to create environments and policies that support mental health and well-being. This means investing in social determinants of health, such as housing, education, and employment, and promoting policies that reduce inequality and discrimination. It means providingadequate resources for mental health research, prevention, and treatment, and involving people with lived experience in all aspects of mental health care.In conclusion, mental health is a fundamental aspect of human well-being and dignity, and it is our collective responsibility to promote it. Let us work together to build a future in which mental health is valued, respected, and prioritized, and in which everyone has the opportunity to achieve their full potential. Thank you.4. 演讲稿四Dear fellow citizens,As we approach the next election, it is important that we reflect on the current state of our democracy, and consider the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Democracy is not a static or fixed system, but a dynamic process that requires constant vigilance and engagement from all of us. We must recognize that democracy is not just a set of institutions and procedures, but a way of life, based on shared values of freedom, equality, and justice. Unfortunately, our democracy is facing a number of serious threats today. We are witnessing the erosion of democratic norms and values, the rise of authoritarianism and populism, and the delegitimization of the institutions and principles that underpin our democracy. We are also facing significant social and economic challenges, from inequality and polarization to racism and climate change, that require collective action and political will to address. But despite these challenges, I believe that there is reason for hope.I believe that we can strengthen our democracy and build a better future, by working together and engaging in meaningful dialogue and debate. I believe that we can address the root causes of social and economic inequality, and create a more just and equitable society. And I believe that we can recommit ourselves to the values of democracy, by defending the rule of law, promoting civil discourse, and respecting the rights of all individuals. To achieve these goals, we must begin by engaging in open and honest dialogue, across political and ideological divides. We must listen to each other's perspectives, and seek common ground and solutions that reflect the diversity and complexity of our society. We must also work to increase democratic participation and engagement, by promoting voter registration, expanding access to voting, and supporting civic education and awareness. We must also hold our elected officials accountable to the principles and values of democracy, and demand transparency, honesty, and integrity in governance. We must resist attempts to undermine the rule of law, and protect the independence and integrity of our institutions, from the judiciary to the media to the civil service. And we must promote policies and practices that promote social and economic equity, and ensure that all individuals have the opportunity to participate fully in our democracy. In closing, I urge all of us to recommit ourselves to the values and principles of democracy, and to work together to create a future that is just, equitable, and democratic. We owe it to ourselves, to our children, and to the generations that will follow, to protect andstrengthen this precious and fragile system. Let us honor the memory of those who fought for democracy before us, by continuing their work, and ensuring that democracy thrives for generations to come. Thank you.5. 演讲稿五Dear graduates,As you stand here today, on the cusp of a new chapter in your lives, I want to reflect on the importance of perseverance and resilience. Between the challenges of the past year and the uncertainties of the future, it is easy to feel discouraged, overwhelmed, or lost. But it is precisely in these moments of difficulty and adversity that our true strength and character are revealed.Perseverance is not just about gritting your teeth and pushing through tough times, although that is certainly part of it. Perseverance is about having a clear sense of purpose, and a deep commitment to your goals, even when the road is rocky or the destination seems far away. It means being flexible and adaptable to change, and being willing to learn and grow from setbacks and failures.Resilience is not just about bouncing back from adversity, although that is certainly part of it. Resilience is about having a strong sense of self, and a deep belief in your own worth and potential, even in the face of challenges or criticism. It means cultivating positive relationships and support networks, and drawing on your strengths and resources to overcome obstacles and achieve your goals.Together, perseverance and resilience are the foundation of success and fulfillment. They enable us to overcome the obstacles that stand in our way, and to achieve our dreams and aspirations. But they are not just individual traits – they are also collective values, that we can cultivate and support in each other, as friends, family members, colleagues, and members of a larger community. As you move forward to the next phase of your lives, I encourage you to reflect on your own values, goals, and aspirations, and to cultivate your own sense of perseverance and resilience. Surround yourself with people who support and challenge you, and seek out opportunities to learn and grow. And remember that setbacks are not the end of the road – they are just temporary detours on the journey of life.In closing, I want to congratulate you on your achievements, and to wish you all the best in your future endeavors. May you continue to persevere and thrive, and may you make a positive difference in the world. Thank you.。

本篇⽂章是⽆忧考为您整理的简单好背的3分钟英语演讲稿【五篇】,供⼤家阅读与鉴赏!【篇⼀】简单好背的3分钟英语演讲稿 Hello everyone! i am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation. five score years ago, a great american, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the emancipation proclamation. this momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. it came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their captivity. but one hundred years later, the negro still is not free. one hundred years later, the life of the negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. one hundred years later, the negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. one hundred years later, the negro is still languished in the corners of american society and finds himself an exile in his own land. and so we've come here today to dramatize a shameful condition. in a sense we've come to our nation's capital to cash a check. when the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the constitution and the declaration of independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every american was to fall heir. this note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the "unalienable rights" of "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." it is obvious today that america has defaulted on this promissory note, insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. instead of honoring this sacred obligation, america has given the negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked "insufficient funds." Thank you!【篇⼆】简单好背的3分钟英语演讲稿 ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, i am chinese. i am proud of being a chinese with five thousand years of civilization behind. i‘ve learned about the four great inventions made by our forefathers. i‘ve learned about the great wall and the yangtze river. i‘ve learned about zhang heng and i‘ve learned about zheng says the yellow river civilization has vanished?i know that my ancestors have made miracles on this fertile land and we‘re still making miracles. who can ignore the fact that we have established ourselves as a great state in the world, that we have devised our own nuclear weapons, that we have successfully sent our satellites into space, and that our gnp ranks no. 7 in the world? we have experienced the plunders by other nations, and we have experienced the war. yet, based on such ruins, there still stands our nation----china, unyielding and unconquerable! i once came across an american tourist. she said,―china has a history of five thousand years, but the us only has a history of 200 years. five thousand years ago, china took the lead in the world, and now it is the us that is leading.‖ my heart was deeply touched by these words. it is true that we‘re still a developing nation, but it doesn‘t mean that we can despise ourselves. we have such a long-standing history, we have such abundant resources, we have such intelligent and diligent people, and we have enough to be proud of. we have reasons to say proudly: we are sure to take the lead in the world in the future again, for our problems are big, but our ambition is even bigger, our challenges are great, but our will is even greater. i am chinese. i have inherited black hair and black eyes. i have inherited the virtues of my ancestors. i have also taken over responsibility. i am sure, that wherever i go, whatever i do, i shall never forget that i am chinese!【篇三】简单好背的3分钟英语演讲稿 good morning teachers and fellow students. today we would like to introduce a few favorite books to you. my favorite book is (italian: cuore). this is a diary written by an italian boy enrico. the diary is about his life and study. it included various touching stories that happened around enrico, the mottos taught by his parents, as well as the wonderful ten "monthly" stories told by his teacher during the class. every word in the chapter describes the word "love ". from patriotism to friendship, and to the love between parents and child -- really touching. this novel taught me how to love, and how to learn from love. i really like this book very much. how about you? what is your favorite book? my favorite book is . have you read it before? oh, i haven’t read this book before. what is it about? well, it is a story of a rich girl who maintained her noble character after the bankruptcy of her father. the story is happy ending. can you tell us why you love this book so much? sure. it is because the story taught us to be brave and to face the challenges and difficulties with courage. i am deeply impressed by the strength and perseverance of the little princein the story. i have decided to learn from her from now on. oh i see, the story sounds very good. i cannot wait to read this book as well.【篇四】简单好背的3分钟英语演讲稿 Teachers, students: Good morning, everyone! The first story happened when I was in primary school, I wrote in my composition that my dream was to be a teacher when I grew up. Meanwhile, what my classmates wrote about their dreams was that he or she wanted to be a doctor, a scientist or an astronaut. The second story happened at my first year in university. At the careers planning class, when the teacher asked about our dreams, one of my classmates stood up and said, “I want to be a farmer, because I grow up in a farmer's family and I love to be engaged in agriculture.” When he sat down, everyone clapped. These two stories happened during my growth process, from which I got my understanding of dreams. When I was a child I believed that a dream must be a big dream, but when I grow up I find this big dream is so far away from me, I know little about it, and I have done nothing to achieve it, so it's not my dream. My classmate's answer let me know a real dream is not just about being a great man, or doing a great job, it's about what you really want to be, and are willing to try every effort to pursue it. Because what makes a dream valuable is not just about the result, it's also about the process, the process when you are trying, when you are struggling, when you failed and restarted again and again, because of the process, dreams can be meaningful and become your wealth. Thank you.。

3分钟英语演讲稿范文三篇
3分钟英语演讲稿范文三篇演讲稿一:保护环境的重要性Ladies and gentlemen,Today, I want to talk to you about the importance of protecting the environment. As we all know, the environment is facing numerous challenges, including pollution, deforestation, and climate change. These issues not only affect the natural world but also have a significant impact on human health and well-being.Firstly, pollution is a grave problem that we need to address. Industrial and vehicle emissions, as well as improper waste disposal, contribute to air, water, and soil pollution. This pollution not only harms ecosystems and wildlife but also leads to serious health problems for humans, such as respiratory diseases and cancers.Secondly, deforestation is another pressing issue. The destruction of forests for logging, agriculture, and urban development has led to the loss of biodiversity and the disruption of ecosystems. Forests are not only home to countless species but also play a crucial role in regulating the climate and providing clean air and water.Lastly, climate change is a global crisis that requires immediate action. The burning of fossil fuels for energy and transportation releases greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, causing the Earth’s temperature to rise. This leads to extreme weather events, rising sea levels, and the loss of habitats for many species. So, what can we do to protect the environment? Firstly, we need to reduce our carbon footprint by conserving energy, using renewable resources, and promoting sustainable practices. Additionally, weshould advocate for stricter environmental regulations and support organizations that work towards conservation and restoration efforts. In conclusion, protecting the environment is not just a responsibility, but a necessity for the survival and well-being of future generations. By taking action now, we can ensure a sustainable and healthy planet for ourselves and the generations to come. Thank you.演讲稿二:青少年如何应对压力Good morning, everyone,Today, I want to talk about how teenagers can cope with stress. Adolescence is a challenging period filled with academic pressure, social expectations, and personal struggles. It’s crucial for teenagers to develop effective coping mechanisms to maintain good mental health and well-being.Firstly, it’s important for teenagers to recognize and acknowledge their stress. Ignoring or denying stress can lead to further emotional and psychological problems. By acknowledging stress, teenagers can take the necessary steps to address and manage it.Secondly, one effective coping mechanism is to establish a support system. This can include friends, family members, or even professionals such as counselors or therapists. Having someone to talk to and seek guidance from can provide much-needed emotional support and perspective.Furthermore, engaging in regular physical activity can significantly reduce stress levels. Exercise releases endorphins, which arenatural mood enhancers. Whether it’s playing a sport, going for a run, or practicing yoga, finding a physical activity that brings joy and relaxation can be an excellent stress reliever. In addition, practicing relaxation techniques such as deep breathing, meditation, or mindfulness can help teenagers calm their minds and reduce stress. These techniques can be learned through classes, apps, or online resources, and can be incorporated into daily routines to promote a sense of calm and balance.Lastly, it’s essential for teenagers to maintain a healthy lifestyle. This includes getting enough sleep, eating nutritious food, and avoiding excessive caffeine, alcohol, or drug use. A healthy body supports a healthy mind and can contribute to better stress management. In conclusion, stress is a natural part of life, but it’s essential for teenagers to learn how to cope with it effectively. By recognizing stress, seeking support, engaging in physical activity, practicing relaxation techniques, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, teenagers can navigate through the challenges of adolescence with resilience and well-being. Thank you.演讲稿三:科技对社交关系的影响Ladies and gentlemen,Today, I want to talk to you about the impact of technology on social relationships. Technology has revolutionized the way we communicate and connect with others, but it has also brought about significant changes in the quality and depth of our social interactions.Firstly, technology has made communication more convenient and accessible. With the rise of social media platforms, instant messaging apps, and video calls, we can connect with people from all over the world at any time. This has expanded our social networks and allowed us to stay in touch with friends and family regardless of distance. However, the increased reliance on technology for communication has also led to a decline in face-to-face interactions. We often find ourselves glued to our screens, scrolling through social media feeds or texting instead of engaging in meaningful conversations with the people around us. This can lead to feelings of loneliness and isolation, despite being surrounded by virtual connections.Furthermore, the constant presence of technology can be a distraction, affecting the quality of our interactions. How many times have we seen people at a dinner table or in a social gathering engrossed in their phones instead of engaging with those present? This lack of presence and attention can harm the depth and intimacy of our relationships.Lastly, the filtered and curated nature of social media can create unrealistic expectations and comparisons. People often present their best selves online, showcasing their achievements, travels, and relationships. This can lead to feelings of inadequacy and a distorted perception of reality, ultimately affecting our self-esteem and social interactions. So, what can we do to mitigate these negative effects? Firstly, we need to be mindful of our technology usage and prioritize face-to-face interactions. Setting boundaries and designated tech-free times can help us be more present and engaged in our relationships.Additionally, we should aim for authenticity and vulnerability in our online interactions. Instead of focusing on creating an idealized image, we can share our struggles and imperfections, fostering genuine connections and empathy. In conclusion, while technology has undoubtedly brought numerous benefits to our social lives, we need to be conscious of its impact on the depth and quality of our relationships. By prioritizing face-to-face interactions, being present and authentic, and using technology mindfully, we can maintain meaningful connections in this digital age. Thank you.。

英语演讲稿3分钟范文(精选16篇)
英语演讲稿3分钟范文(精选16篇)英语3分钟范文篇1On New Year's Eve, our class had a party. The atmosphere was good. It was out of the ordinary from the very begining. The boy student from one bedroom gave an unusual performance. We saw a boy named Li Xinmin turn off all the lights in a sudden snap. Then with three resounding crow of a cock echoing in the hall, the hall was again brightly lit in a snap. Then, the representative of the bedroom Zhu Guozhang asked us to guess a line of a poem related to the above situation. He added that Li Xinmin alone was born in the year of the dog and the other three were all born in the year of the chicken. They left us all in confusion. And it was our monitor who was quick witted. He shouted our, “The day breaks as the cock crows three times at dawn.” The hall After that, they had another item. This time Li Xinmin was placed in the middle of the circle. While he was standing there, the other three stood around him, each bowing down to him at an angle of 120 degrees. It was an idiom. This time I got it right:“The dog stands out among a group of chickens.”Then we all sang and played games until it was eleven o'clock at night. The old man on night watch came to turn off the lights. We had to tear ourselves away from the party. From this activity, I discovered that many of our classmates are really talented singers.英语演讲稿3分钟范文篇2Good morning/afternoon, ladies and gentlemen.Consider the lowly toilet. Many of you may not think of the toilet as a form of technology if you think of toilets at all. But, itis and has contributed greatly to the improved health and overall quality of life for mankind. On a recent trip to Japan, I was impressed by, among other things, a gadget in most public women's restrooms, called Otohime or Sound Princess. This device produces the sound of flushing water without the need for actual flushing. The technology saves the user both the embarrassment of being heard during urination and some 20 liters of water per use in cases where a woman might flush the toilet continuously while using it.Every time I used Otohime, I felt like a princess, an environmentalist princess on the toilet. It was a longed for feeling. Over the past decade, I shuffled in and out of many kinds of public restrooms in China--filthy smelly water closets in outlying areas, spacious luxurious lavatories in five-star hotels, forever-occupied girls' stalls on campus during school, and smart modern mobile toilets in international fairs. But not one single "room" evoked my pride of being a princess. And I knew why the Sound Princess had. It was not because of the high technology the small bathroom boasted which is becoming ubiquitous worldwide. It was the idealism embodied in the technology that keeps reminding me that in this ever-changing world, I am a responsible and dignified human being even when sitting on a toilet.Humanism, no matter how it is defined, aims to strike a balance between us being at the mercy of nature and being too human-centered. In my case, I haven't relieved myself under a tree for a while. I am a proud, dutiful Chinese citizen. Gone are the days when people just found a corner to do their businessresulting in poor sanitation and threats to public health. The Otohimetechnology renders me two warnings: First, I am a humble human being with an obligation to save not only my face but also natural resources. Second, there is still a long way to go in my own country not just in developing technology and the economy, but also in upholding human dignity and promoting human welfare. Take the toilet: Dirty, crowdedtoilets shall, at least, give way to clean, human-friendly ones.Fortunately, I have seen improvements. At Shanghai World Expo 20xx, 8,000 toilets, all modern and technologically sophisticated, were installed across the site. What really delighted the visitors, however, was the user-friendly design and services. Toilets were situated every 100 meters. Several hundred volunteers served as toilet guides and sanitation workers. The ratio of female to male toilet space was set at 2.5 to 1. Soft music was played in the toilets. All this seems to celebrate the glory of comprehensive humanism.Ladies and gentlemen, science and technology are here to improve earthly life and maximize human happiness. When our world benefits from technology, coupled with human considerations, we are bound to enjoy our life. Conversely, we suffer. The toilet is a piece of sanitaryware and the quintessence of humanism that underlies technological innovation. Like GNP, employment rates, and space exploration efforts, the lowly equipment is an equally important measure of a progressive society. When on a toilet if we feel like a princess, we shall be proud of living in a society that values humanity. If not, we must stand up and make some changes. And if you are still baffled with what I have said, I suggestyou take off right now and go experience the bathrooms in this auditorium, because they are what makes our life beautiful or ugly, humanism considered or ignored.英语演讲稿3分钟范文篇3a man who lived in a block of apartments thought it was raining and put hishead out the window to check. as he did so a glass eye fell into his hand.he looked up to see where it came from in time to see a young woman lookingdown."is this yours?" he asked.she said, "yes, could you bring it up?" and the man agreed.on arrival she was profuse in her thanks and offered the man a drink. asshe was very attractive he agreed. shortly afterwards she said, "i'm about tohave dinner. there's plenty. would you like to join me?"he readily accepted her offer and both enjoyed a lovely meal. as theevening was drawing to a close the lady said, "i've had a marvelous evening.would you like to stay the night?"the man hesitated then said, "do you act like this with every man youmeet?""no," she replied, "only those who catch my eye."英语演讲稿3分钟范文篇4In the world, I am sure that no one dare say he hasn't met any trouble allhis life. So we must face failure. In fact, failure is not fearful, butimportant thing is how to face it correctly. Facing failure, people will nevertake their fate lying down. They will try their best to work harder and harderuntil at last they succeed. Not being courageous to face setbacks, people have no chance to enjoy thepleasure of success. So they have nothing to do but feel sad and empty all dayand all night. In fact, they losethe chance of success themselves. My friend, whenever in trouble, please remember, “Failure is the mother ofsuccess.”Twists and turns in life are unavoidable and are not always bad. We shouldhave a more optimistic view on life and try to make the most of it and drawlessons from the bumps and turns along the way.If there is any single factor that makes for success in living, it is theability to profit by defeat. Every success I know has been achieved because theperson was able to analyze defeat and actually profit by it in his nextundertaking. Confuse defeat with failure, and you are doomed indeed to failure. For it isn't defeat that makes you fail: it is your own refusal to see in defeatthe guide and encouragement to success. Defeats are nothing to be ashamed of.They are routine incidents in the life of every man who achieves success. Butdefeat is a dead loss unless you do face it without humiliation, analyze it andlearn why you failed.Defeat, in other words, can help to cure its own cause. Not only doesdefeat prepare us for success, but nothing can arouse within us such acompelling desire to succeed. If you let a baby grasp a rod and try to pull itaway, he will cling more and more tightly until his whole weight is suspended. It is this same reaction which should give you new and greater strength everytime you are defeated. If you exploit the power which defeat gives, you canaccomplish with it far more than you are capable of.英语演讲稿3分钟范文篇5i have the answer to a question that we've all asked. the question is, why is it that the letter x represents the unknown? now i know we learned that in math class, but now it's everywhere in the culture -- the x prize, the x-files, project x, tedx.where'd that come from?about six years ago i decided that i would learn arabic, which turns out to be a supremely logical language. to write a word or a phrase or a sentence in arabic is like crafting an equation, because every part is extremely precise and carries a lot of information. that's one of the reasons so much of what we've come to think of as western science and mathematics and engineering was really worked out in the first few centuries of the common era by the persians and the arabs and the turks.this includes the little system in arabic called al-jebra. and al-jebr roughly translates to “the system for reconciling disparate parts.“ al-jebr finally came into english as algebra. one example among many.the arabic texts containing this mathematical wisdom finally made their way to europe -- which is to say spain -- in the 11th and 12th centuries. and when they arrived there was tremendous interest in translating this wisdom into a european language.but there were problems. one problem is there are some sounds in arabic that just don't make it through a european voice box without lots of practice. trust me on that one. also, those very sounds tend not to be represented by the characters that are available in european languages.here's one of the culprits. this is the letter sheen, and it makes the sound we think of as sh -- “sh.“ it's also the very first letter of the word shalan, which means “something“ just like the the english word “something“ -- some undefined, unknown thing.now in arabic, we can make this definite by adding the definite article “al.“ so this is al-shalan -- the unknown thing. and this is a word that appears throughout early mathematics, such as this 10th century derivation of proofs.the problem for the medieval spanish scholars who were tasked with translating this material is that the letter sheen and the word shalan can't be rendered into spanish because spanish doesn't have that sh, that “sh“ sound. so by convention, they created a rul e in which they borrowed the ck sound, “ck“ sound, from the classical greek in the form of the letter kai.later when this material was translated into a common european language, which is to say latin, they simply replaced the greek kai with the latin x. and once that happened, once this material was in latin, it formed the basis for mathematics textbooks for almost 600 years.but now we have the answer to our question. why is it that x is the unknown? x is the unknown because you can't say “sh“ in spanish. (laughter) and i thought that was worth sharing.英语演讲稿3分钟范文篇6Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. It is my honor to be here to present my speech to you about the role of humanism in today’s technologically advanced world. What’s the role of humanism to day? At the first sight of this topic, I felt that I had a vision of walking along a dark passage to our destination, an ideal harmonious society. Humanism, is a lighthouse on this way to guide us in case we are getting lost, together with modern technology, we are well on our way toward our destination.Like other young men, I love the internet. T o be honest, I could not imagine a life without internet, which is a blessing taken by high technology. To some extent, it represents the whole world to me. I have registered some accounts on MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, Renren, Weibo and so forth. It’s really amazing because these network technologies make it possiblefor people all over the world to communicate with each other freely and conveniently. However, there are two sides to the argument, so what of the internet. While it could lighten our life, it could also turn into evil. It started with some of these arguments—well, it is argument at first—then the situation seems out of control: people start to curse and scold each other just because they have different opinions. People became more and more aggressive, seditious, and insulting, and later on, with the “Human-flesh searching” involved, the situation gets even worse. Those are what we called “Network of violence”, they are still happening, and still going on.It seems like that the internet frees us from the burden of our public identities so we should be our true, authentic selves online, except it turns out—who wouldn’t see that coming—that our true, auth entic selves aren’t that fantastic. The reason we define ourselves as human is because we have some natural instincts to care for and respect other people. In other words, we are pursuing the universal brotherhood, a peaceful world of free minds. It is humanism that keeps our society moving on and on.As one of the most important inventions in our time, internet has changed the way of our life tremendously. It has changed the way we express and communicate with each other. It has made it possible for us to meet each other without distance; it has made it easier for us to know and to comprehend each other. However not only some changes has it brought, but also brought on some challenges. Net has anarchy in its DNA, It’s always been about anonymity, playing with your own identity and messing with other people’s heads. It is a challenge, itchallenges our self-discipline that we are proud of, it challenges our humanity that we are proud of. Sure technology promises us more freedom but it doesn’t mean that we sho uld leave our civilization behind. That’s why we need a guideline to light up our path, to lead us. In this technologically advanced world, what we need to do is to avoid the misuse of technology, but to take it as an accelerator, a lube or a navigator on our high way to create a better world, a harmonious society. So don’t ever forget our aspiration, and always have faith in humanism, and we are going to make it happen, in this technologically advanced world! I am an active boy. I like many kinds of sports, such as walking, skating, climbing, cycling and skipping. Doing sports gives me a good health and brings me a lot of fun. Now, I will tell you about my cycling sport. I often ride my bicycle when I am free. I like to ride my bicycle on a road near my house. It is an empty road. There are no cars and few people walking on the road. It is about four kilometers long. It has several long slopes. So it is very good for cycling. When I ride down the slopes, the bicycle runs very fast, and I feel I am flying. That’s a very good feeling for me. When I ride up the slopes, it is very difficult, but it is a good training for me. I always try my best to ride up as long as possible. Cycling there gives me lots of fun.Everyone can get ill, but doing sports is a good doctor. I know an English saying “Exercise one hour a day, keep illness away.” My own story has proved it. I once had an illness. I had to go to see the doctors and take medicines very often. After doing sports for several years, I have recovered now.Doing sports gives me a strong body and brings me lots of fun. So if you want to be strong, please do sports; if you want to enjoy a happy life, please do sports, too.Thank you!英语演讲稿3分钟范文篇10good morning/evening/afternoon, ladies and gentlemen : today, my speech is about talents,in my opionion, talents are indispensable in nowadays society. as is known to all that the fight among countries is actually the fight among talents.first, i'd like to define the word"talent" in my idea, a talent is one person who is good at or expertised in some or multiple areas. nowadays, as the world developing goes on , if one country want to rank top or do a good job in the world, the country must have many talents.for example, china, the biggest developing country in the world, in the past 100 years, is always invaded by other countries, why ,the reason is that china at that time had not so many talents. if they had anti-intrusion leader talents in the war, needless to say, they would have beat those big powers.if they had talents in weapons manufacturing, nodody dares to provoke us.however, nowadays, it's a totally different situation, china has become powerfulin all over the world, why ? because there are many talents serving the country, the civilians become more and more literated.more and more people go to university, more and more people come to receive further education. so what is that in return, talents in army protect ourcountry from invasion, talents in commerce help make our economy keep in improving, talents in aerospace make the world see chinese manned spacecraft flying. talents in sports make china rank the first in the olympic games......to sum up, talents will play a more and more impoetant role in the world, if one country intends to flourish, he must foster talents as many as they can ,that's all, thank you.英语演讲稿3分钟范文篇11My fellow teachers and students:Hello everybody! University days are the best part of them. I can never forget the days when I stepped into my university. I was impressed by its garden'like campus, its enthusiastic students and especially its learning atmosphere. I at once fell in love with it.After the arduous military training, I get absolutely absorbed in my studies. The classes given by the teachers are excellent. They provide us with information not only from our textbooks but from many other sources as well. They easily arouse my insatiable desire to take in as much as I can.Frankly speaking, at first I had some difficulty following the teachers. However, through my own efforts and thanks to my teachers' guidance, I made remarkable progress. Now I've benefited a lot from lectures and many other academic reports.Learning is a long process; I'll keep exploring in the treasure house of knowledge to enrich myself. This summer I got out of the ivory tower and entered the real world. A publishing house offered me a part'time job in compilation and revision. Finally, standing here at the threshold of the 21st century, we cannot help thinking of our posterity. Nature is not only the mother of the present generation, but also the mother of the generations to come. How severely our descendents will criticizeus if we leave them a barren and lifeless mother? How much more they will appreciate us if we give them a world of harmony to inherit? Let us start respecting and caring for nature from now on. Let us start the campaign of creating a mutually beneficial relationship between people and nature right from this moment. With this new start, I firmly believe, that our children, and our children's children will live in a brand new age of green trees, clean air, crystal water, blue sky and an even more promising world!英语演讲稿3分钟范文篇13When I was seven, I started learning English. I played games and sang English songs with other children. Sometimes, I watched English cartoons. It's funny. Then I discovered the beauty of the language, and began my colorful dream in the English world.I hope I can travel around the world someday. I want to go to America to visit Washington, because my cousin is over there. Of course, I want to go to London too, because England is where English language developed. I also wanted to be a teacher of Chinese. Now I think that both of my dreams can come true: I will be able to use English to teach foreign friends Chinese and share Chineseculture with them. So that more and more people will be able to get to know the 5000 years' history culture, and the prosperity of our great China. My future is not a dream. I am confident that it will come true. 英语演讲稿3分钟范文篇14Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, I’m very glad to make a speech here. Today my topic is “I love you, China.”Since the day I was born, I began to have a proud name—Chinese. Since the day I began to talk, the most beautiful sentence I’ve ever learnt has been “I love you, China!”I love you, China, and I’m so proud of being a Chinese. I’m proud that I’ve got the beautiful yellow skin, black eyes and black hair. I’m also proud that I speak the most beautiful language in the world—Chinese.I love you, China, for I can feel the deep love you give me every day, every minute. Last year, I got an opportunity to visit the United States of America. During my staying there, my father’s boss once invited my family to dinner. While at table, he looked at me and asked: “Little boy, how long have you been in America?” “About a month,” I answered, “How lucky you are!” he said, “If you were living in China, how could you learn such perfect English?” I smiled and told him proudly that all the students in China are able to learn English at school. I saw his surprised eyes and said to myself, “I’m proud of you, China. For you are offering us the best education.”When I came back from the USA, my friends asked me: “How do you feel about your staying there?” “Wonderful” I said. “Then why do you come back?” Hearing this, I told them there were lots of beautiful countries in the world, but none of them can compare with our own country—China. How true thesaying is: “There’s no place like home!”I love you, China. As a young student, all we should do is to study hard and devote ourselves whole-heartedly in the future, to the great cause of building you into an even stronger and greater country in the world. I love you, my dear motherland! I love you, China!Thank you for your listening !英语演讲稿3分钟范文篇15Good morning everyone! My name is Jie Lidi. Today, my topic is: “Confidence”. As we all know, failure is the mother of success. But What I want to say is that success is the child of confidence. Without confidence, things can become negative and uncomfortable. I remember, during an English class, I wanted to make a sentence using the word "listen". I should have said: "I listen to the Voice of America" but I was too nervous and said "I listen to the Noise of America". Everybody in the class laughed. Since then I wanted to train myself to be confident. Now, confidence makes me brave and courageous. Take this speech for example. I wanted to enter this competition, but I would feel very embarrassed if I made mistakes. Just then, I thought about my dream. My dream is to become a scientist when I grow up. If I am not confident, how can I overcome difficulties I face? If I am not confident, how can I succeed in developing myself in the future? I will do it! Today, I am making a speech in public and I feel proud and confident!I am sure, in the future, with confidence, I will go forward-always forward. Confidence will make my dreams come true!Thank you!英语演讲稿3分钟范文篇16English is a useful language all over the world. Why are we。

英语演讲稿3分钟简单(优秀6篇)英语演讲稿三分钟篇一自信心的重要性The Importance of confidenceWhatever one does, one should do it with confidence. If one has no confidence, there is little possibility that one would ever achieve anything, especially when one is faced with drawbacks or hardships. This truth seems to be evident. However, in reality we do see a lot of people who complain that they like the ability to do something or that their difficulties are too great to be overcome. For someone, this might be true. But for many others, this only shows that they have lost heart. Why do people often feel frustrated even though they are capable of doing something? There are, among others, two main reasons. First, these people do have a correct estimate of themselves. Second, they overestimate the difficulties. It is possible to build up faith in oneself by having the right attitude towards ones abilities. We should never undere☆☆stimate ones abilities. But believe in the proverb: Where there is a will, there is a way. Confidence is the promise for fulfilling a task successfully.英语演讲稿3分钟篇二and see no end to the landscape, new objects presenting themselves as we advance; so, in the commencement of life, we set no bounds to our inclinations. nor to the unrestricted opportunities of gratifying them. we have as yet found no obstacle, no disposition to flag; and it seems that we can go on so forever. we look round in a new world, full of life, and motion, and ceaseleprogress; and feel in ourselves all the vigor and spirit to keep pace with it, and do not foresee from any present symptoms how we shall be left behind in the natural course of things, decline into old age, and drop into the grave. it is the simplicity, and as it were abstractedneof our feelings in youth, that (so to speak) identifies us with nature, and (our experience being slight and our passions strong) deludes us into a belief of being immortal like it. our short-lives connection with existence we fondly flatter ourselves, is an indissoluble and lasting union-a honeymoon that knows neither coldness, jar, nor separation. as infants smile and sleep, we are rocked in the cradle of our wayward fancies, and lulled into security by the roar of the universe around us0we quaff the cup of life with eager haste without draining it, instead of which it only overflows the more-objects prearound us, filling the mind with their magnitude and with the strong of desires that wait upon them, so that we have no room for the thoughts of death.优秀英语演讲稿3分钟篇三Hold Fast To Your DreamsI have a dream today.I have a dream that one day every vally shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.Wow, what a dream it has been for Martin Luther King. But the changing world seems telling me that people gradually get their dreams lost somehow in the process of growing up, and sometimes I personally find myself saying goodbye unconsciously to those distant childhooddreams. However, we meed dreams. They nourish our spirit; they represent possibility even when we are dragged down by reality. They keep us going. Most successful people are dreamers as well as ordinary people who are not afraid to think big and dare to be great. When we were little kids, we all dreamed of doing something big and splashy, something significant. Now what we need to do is to maintain them, refresh them and turn them into reality. However, the toughest part is that we often have no ideas how to translate these dreams into actions. Well, just start with concrete objectives and stick to it. Dont let the nameless fear confuse the eye and confound our strong belief of future. Through our talents, through our wits, through our endurance and through our creativity, we will make it.Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a barren field frozen with snow. So my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead dreams. Whatever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today.英语的演讲稿3分钟篇四hi, everyone! my name is . today my topic is: i love english.english is now used everywhere in the world, it has become the most important language on internet. learning english makse me confident and brings me great pleasure.when i was eight , my father sent me to an english school. at there, i played games and sang english song with other children. then i discovered the beauty of the language, and began my colorful dream in the english world.every day, i read english following the tapes. sometimes, i like watching english movies for children, such as finding nemo, harry potter and so on. these movies not only improved my english, but also gave me a lot of fun. outlook english also help me a lot in my english studies, i have been watching this program for nearly two years.i hope i can travel around the world someday. i want to go to america, because america is one of the most developed countries in the world. i also want to go to england, because english originated in england.英语演讲稿三分钟励志简单篇五It is the road you take that decides your destiny but not your destiny that decides the road you take. The question is: Are you satisfied with who you are? Are you doing what you are capable of doing? Do you get excited about what you are going to do when you get up in the morning? It is high time you asked these questions that reflect the truth about your life. More often than not we have the ability to achieve much greater things, but we get caught in the average things in life and waste our potential. Each one of us has immense ability. But most of us fail to use it. Why?1. There is no exact purpose for your life.2. You underestimate yourself.3. You are too busy to think about any-thing.4. You are in a comfortable zone.5. You fear failure.Ask yourself, what difference am I making in the lives of others? Would you be happy and satisfied with what you have achieved? Are you following your passion? You must find what youlove and what gives you fulfillment.Don’t be afraid to make a new beginning. Go deep and explore the possibilities. As you go deeper and deeper, you begin to add meaning to your life.你所走的路决定你的命运,而不是你的命运决定你应该走什么样的路。

While witnessing the dramatic changes in the better-off society, people begin to reconsider the question of “survival". "Survival" in the old sense does not bother us anymore. Instead, we are more concerned about how to "survive" in the human world full of petition.Competition always carries abreast challenges and opportunities to everyone involved. It might appear in an entrance exam, in a regular class, or in a small public speech. Those who fail to detect its real nature-whether an opportunity or a challenge a petition really is- will lose something more or less conducive to our growth. Of course, if we take the petition as an opportunity, we will favor it intentionally because they can help us outstand from the average; they will make us e the focus ofpublic attention; they will grant us more chances and rights to succeed. As a matter of fact, opportunities are supposed to be more perceptible and ing than challenges. The truth is, however, we will lose more opportunities when we choose to take the "opportunity" fork at the crossroads. The other fork, ignored by us and defined as "fearful challenges", offers much more chances for the walker in petition. We have such an inclination in life to overestimate ourselves and hold a thoughtless attitude towards the negative outlook of things. We believe in the old saying, "Opportunity knocks but just once," so we always e it and devote all our spirit and efforts to it. The most devout believer of this saying are the graduates. Why? There are quite a number of them who pay full attention to positions in big cities and are willing to flood into developed areas under any circumstances, even though there will be too much uncertainty for their choices. Innumerable cases go straight to the same miserable end: God seems to refuse to help too many of His worshipers. In conclusion, to define the quality of petition seems to be far from valuable sense, for no matter what a petition is, anopportunity or a challenge, it will create nutritious elements for our growth. So take a positive look at everything around. Keep our face to the sunshine, and we will not see the shadows. In front of challenge there are 5 players. The first player creates opportunity. The second one attempts opportunity. The third waits for an opportunity ing, sitting there and crossing his fingers.:)How about the next one, the fourth player? He just simply misses the opportunity.Worse ever, the last contender ignores an opportunity under his eyes.If we don't have guts to be the first player, at least, we can push out well-prepared to grasp any possible opportunity as does the second player.英语三分钟演讲稿篇3you have spent so much time with other people, you have spent so much time trying to get people to like you, you know other people more than you know yourself. you’ve studied them, you know about them, you want to hang out with them, you wantto be just like them. you’ve invested so much time on them, you don’t know who you are. i challenge you to spend time by yourself.it’s necessary, that you get the losers out of your life, if you want to live your dream. but people who are running towards their dreams, life has a special kind of meaning. when you e the ‘right-person’, what you do is you start separating yourself from other people you begin to have a certain uniqueness, as long as you follow other people, as long as you are being a ‘copy-cat’, you will never ever be the best copy-cat in the world but you will be the best you can be!i challenge you to define your value.everybody won’t see it, everybody won’t join you, everybody won’t have the vision。

Hill, and I am a professor of law at the University of Oklahoma. I was born on a farm in Okmulgee County, Oklahoma, in 1956. I am the youngest of 13 children. I had my early education in Okmulgee County. My father, Albert Hill, is a farmer in that area. My mother#39;s name is Irma Hill. She is also a farmer and a housewife. My childhood was one of a lot of hard work and not much money, but it was one of solid family affection, as represented by my parents. I was reared in a religious atmosphere in the Baptist faith, and I have been a member of the Antioch Baptist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, since 1983. It is a very warm part of my life at the present time. For my undergraduate work, I went to Oklahoma State University and graduated from there in 1977. I am attaching to this statement a copy of my resume for further details of my education.I graduated from the university with academic honors and proceeded to the Yale Law School, where I received my JD degree in 1980. Upon graduation from law school, I became a practicing lawyer with the Washington, DC, firm of Ward, Hardraker, and Ross.In 1981, I was introduced to now Judge Thomas by a mutual friend. Judge Thomas told me that he was anticipating a political appointment, and he asked if I would be interested in working with him. He was, in fact, appointed as Assistant Secretary of Education for Civil Rights. After he had taken that post, he asked if I would become his assistant, and I accepted that position. In my early period there, I had two major projects. The first was an article I wrote for Judge Thomas#39; signature on the education of minority students. The second was the organization of a seminar on high-risk students which was abandoned because Judge Thomas transferred to the EEOC where he became the chairman of that office.During this period at the Department of Education, my working relationship with Judge Thomas was positive. I had a good deal of responsibility and independence. I thought he respected my work and that he trusted my judgment. After approximately three months of working there, he asked me to go out socially with him. What happened next and telling the world about it are the two most difficult things --experiences of my life. It is only after a great deal of agonizing consideration and sleeplessnumber -- a great number of sleepless nights that I am able to talk of these unpleasant matters to anyone but my close friends.I declined the invitation to go out socially with him and explained to him that I thought it would jeopardize what at the time I considered to be a very good working relationship. I had a normal social life with other men outside of the office. I believed then, as now, that having a social relationship with a person who was supervising my work would be ill-advised. I was very uncomfortable with the idea and told him so.I thought that by saying no and explaining my reasons my employer would abandon his social suggestions. However, to my regret, in the following few weeks, he continued to ask me out on several occasions. He pressed me to justify my reasons for saying no to him. These incidents took place in his office or mine. They were in the form of private conversations which would not have been overheard by anyone else.My working relationship became even more strained when Judge Thomas began to use work situations to discuss sex. On these occasions, he would call me into his office for reports on education issues and projects, or he might suggest that, because of the time pressures of his schedule, we go to lunch to a government cafeteria. After a brief discussion of work, he would turn the conversation to a discussion of sexual matters. His conversations were very vivid. He spoke about acts that he had seen in pornographic films involving such matters as women having sex with animals and films showing group sex or rape scenes. He talked about pornographic materials depicting individuals with large penises or large breasts involved in various sex acts. On several occasions, Thomas told me graphically of his own sexual prowess.Because I was extremely uncomfortable talking about sex with him at all and particularly in such a graphic way, I told him that I did not want to talk about these subjects. I would also try to change the subject to education matters or to nonsexual personal matters such as his background or his beliefs. My efforts to change the subject were rarely successful.Throughout the period of these conversations, he also from time to time asked me for social engagements. My reaction to these conversations was to avoid them by eliminating opportunities for us to engage in extended conversations. This was difficult because at the time I was his only assistant at the Office of Education -- or Office for Civil Rights.During the latter part of my time at the Department of Education, the social pressures and any conversation of his offensive behavior ended. I began both to believe and hope that our working relationship could be a proper, cordial, and professional one. When Judge Thomas was made chair of the EEOC, I needed to face the question of whether to go with him. I was asked to do so, and I did. The work itself was interesting, and at that time it appeared that the sexual overtures which had so troubled me had ended. I also faced the realistic fact that I had no alternative job. While I might have gone back to private practice, perhaps in my old firm or at another, I was dedicated to civil rights work, and my first choice was to be in that field. Moreover, the Department of Education itself was a dubious venture. President Reagan was seeking to abolish the entire department. For my first months at the EEOC, where I continued to be an assistant to Judge Thomas, there were no sexual conversations or overtures. However, during the fall and winter of 1982, these began again. The comments were random and ranged from pressing me about why I didn#39;t go out with him to remarks about my personal appearance. I remember his saying thatsome day I would have to tell him the real reason that I wouldn#39;t go out with him.分钟英语演讲稿篇三we have heard time and time again that the evidence reflects the payment to defendants money. the president had knowledge that these funds were being paid and these were funds collected for the 1972 presidential campaign. we know that the president met with mr. henry petersen 27 times to discuss matters related to watergate, and immediately thereafter met with the very persons who were implicated in the information mr. petersen was receiving. the words are: if the president is connected in any suspicious manner with any person and there be grounds to believe that he will shelter that person, he may be impeached.justice story: impeachment is attended -- is intended for occasional and extraordinary cases where a superior power acting for the whole people is put into operation to protect their rights and rescue their liberties from violations. we know about the huston plan. we know about the break-in of the psychiatrist#39;s office. we know that there was absolute complete direction on september 3rd when the president indicated that a surreptitious entry had been made in dr. fielding#39;s office, after having met with mr. ehrlichman and mr. young. protect their rights. rescue their liberties from violation.the carolina ratification convention impeachment criteria: those are impeachable who behave amiss or betray their public trust.4 beginning shortly after the watergate break-in and continuing to the present time, the president has engaged in a series of public statements and actions designed to thwart the lawful investigation by government prosecutors. moreover, the president has made public announcements and assertions bearing on the watergate case, which the evidence will show he knew to be false. these assertions, false assertions, impeachable, those who misbehave. those who behave amiss or betray the public trust.分钟优秀英语演讲稿篇四i#39;m jim.i#39;m 13 years old and i study in no.1 middle school.my school is very beautiful.every morning i get up at seven and have breakfast.and then i go to school at half past seven.lessons begin at eight o#39; clock. we have four lessons in the morning and chinese is my favourite lesson.we usually have 10 minute#39;s break between two lessons and at about 12 o#39;ciock we finish our morning lessons.i have lunch at school at twelve thirty.i like schooi lunch and i always have rice with meat and vegetables.after lunch i often talk with my friends or play basketball with them.in the afternoon lessons start at half past one and finish at four o#39;ciock.i play games after school with my friends and then go home at half past four.in the evening i do my homework and then watch tv.at ten o#39;分钟英语演讲稿篇五My hometown is in Shaanxi, where there are many specialties and scenery.Although Shaanxi cuisine has not entered the eight major cuisines of China, themutton paomo and Qishan saozi noodles in Shaanxi are very good. My favorite moment of the year. It’s a genuine day of dreams: in the student section, dreams of new careers, marriage, children, new adventures. In the parents’ seating, dreams of what to do with that disposable income they’re no longer sending to West Lafayette. All in all, a day like no other. My own dreams about today sometimes are more like nightmares. What to say that’s fitting – that’s meaningful but still concise enough to get us on to the main event quickly? Hardest of all, what to say that’s the least bit original? While dreaming, or daydreaming, about today, I found myself thinking about Purdue Pete. Again, this year, Pete was ranked among the most identified college mascots in the country, and the favorite in our Big Ten Conference.A few years before your class arrived on campus, someone tried to redo Pete and turn him into some new symbol of our school. I wasn’t here, either, but as told to me, the idea started an immediate backlash, a near-riot, and died within days. I got to thinking about "why?"Maybe part of it was his uniqueness. At my last count, there were 64 Eagles, 46 Tigers, and 33 Wildcats among college mascots. But there’s only one set of Boilermakers. But I think our attachment to Pete stems mainly from the way he personifies our self-image of strength. When our up-and-coming football program chose its slogan for this year, it was "Only the strong." One of the year’s YouTube sensations featured a five-foot-nine Purdue player squatting 600 pounds.优秀英语演讲稿三分钟篇七It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone but it takes a lifetime to forget someone. Don#39;t go for looks; they can deceive. Don#39;t go for wealth, even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright.Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.Always put yourself in the other#39;s shoes. If you feel that it hurts you, it probably hurts the person too.A careless word may kindle strife; a cruel word may wreck a life; a timely word may level stress; a loving word may heal and bless. The happiest of people don#39;t necessarily have the best of everything they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, ends with a tear. When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die, you#39;re the one smiling and everyone around you is crying. There was once a guy who suffered from cancer, a cancer that can?#39;t be cured. He was 18 years old and he could die anytime. All his life, he was stuck in his house being taken cared by his mother. He never went outside but he was sick of staying home and wanted to go out for once. So he asked his mother and she gave him permission. He walked down his block and found a lot of stores. He passed a CD store and looked through the front door for a second as he walked. He stopped and went back to look into the store. He saw a beautiful girl about his age and he knew it was love at first sight. He opened the door and walked in, not looking at anything else but her. He walked closer and closer until he was finally at the front desk where she sat.。

We see ourselves on a long trip that spans the continent. We are traveling by train. Out the windows, we drink in the passing scene of cars on nearby highways, of children waving at a crossing, of cattle grazing on a distant hillside, of smoke pouring from a power plant, of row upon row of corn and wheat, of flatlands and valleys, of mountains and rolling hillsides, of city skylines and village halls. But uppermost in our minds is the final destination. On a certain day at a certain hour, we will pull into the station. Bands will be playing and flags waving. Once we get there, so many wonderful dreams will come true and the pieces of our lives will fit together like a completed jigsaw puzzle. How restlessly we pace the aisles, damning the minutes for loitering --waiting, waiting, waiting for the station.Sooner or later, we must realize there is no station, no one place to arrive at once and for all. The true joy of life is the trip. The station is only a dream. It constantly outdistances us.Relish the moment is a good motto, especially when coupled with Psalm 118:24:This is the day which the Lord hath made;we will rejoice and be glad in it. It isn#39;t the burdens of today that drive men mad. It is the regrets over yesterday and the fear of tomorrow. Regret and fear are twin thieves who rob us of today. So stop pacing the aisles and counting the miles. In stead, climb more mountains, eat more ice cream, go barefoot more often, swim more rivers, watch more sunsets, laugh more, cry less. Life must be lived as we go along. The station will come soon enough.分钟生命的英语演讲稿篇五I once got on a taxi of which the owner is a faithful reader of mine. On the hurtling bus, The driver asked me : “Mr.Lin, could you tell me what is meaning of living?”He was the first one who asked me such a question about the life, and I was dumb to be asked suddenly.Suddenly, the couplet which hanged on the wall of the auditorium of my middle school was floating on my mind. The purpose of living is to develop the living quality of mankind.(the purpose of living is to promote the living standard of mankind;)The meaning of life is to create the supervene lives of universe.(the meaning of life is to carry on the continuum of the universe)And then, I talked to the driver, “The meaning of life is to make a difference in your mind and soul, meanwhile, do something good and devote yourself to the world everyday.”When I have said all this, we were just gone through Renai Road, where were standing beautiful trees of the each side. It is there that I saw the pretty flower blooming on the ceiba trees. How beautiful they are. When we are making progress, that means we are ‘blooming’for ourselves. Out willing of devoting to our world is a flower for the world.分钟生命的英语演讲稿篇六Recently, a professor of philosophy in the United States has written a book called Money and the Meanlng of Life. He has discovered that how we deal with money in our day-to-day life has more meaning than we usually think. One of the exercises he asked his students to do is to keep a record of every penny they spend for a week. From the way they spend their money, they can see what they really value in life.He says our relation with others often becomes clearly defined when money enters the picture. You might have a wonderful friendship with somebody and you think that you are very good friends. But you will know him only when you ask him to lend you some money. If he does, it brings something to the relationship that seems stronger than ever before. Or it can suddenly weaken the relationship if he doesnt. This person may say that he has a certain feeling, but if it is not carried out in the money world, there is something less real about it.People just have an idea of making more and more money, but what is it for? How much do I need for any given purposes in my life7 In his book, the professor uncovered an important need in modern society: to bring back the idea that money is an instrument rather than the end. Money plays an important role in the material world, but expecting money to give happiness may be missing the meaning of life.英语的三分钟演讲稿篇七ladies and gentlemen, this is joe biden, i'm filling in for president obama, while he addresses the nato summit in wales.when the president and i took office in january of , this nation was in the midst of the greatest economic crisis since the great depression. our economy had plummeted1 at a rate of 8% in a single quarter-part of the fastest economic decline any time in the last half century. millions of families were falling underwater on their homes and threatened with foreclosure. the iconic american automobile2 industry was under siege.but yesterday's jobs report was another reminder3 of how far we've come. we've had 54 straight months of job creation. and that's the longest streak4 of uninterrupted job growth in the united states' history.we've gone from losing 9 million jobs during the financial crisis to creating 10 million jobs. we've reduced the unemployment rate from 10% in october of to 6.1% today. and for the first time since the 1990s, american manufacturing is steadily5 adding jobs-over 700,000 since . and surveys of both american and foreign business leaders confirm that america once again is viewed as the best place in the world to build and invest.that's all good news.but an awful lot of middle class americans are still not feeling the effects of this recovery. since the year , gross domestic product-our gdp - has risen by 25%. and productivity in america is up by 30%. but middle class wages during that same time period have gone up by only fourteencents.folks, it's long past time to cut the middle class back into the deal, so they can benefit from the economic growth they helped create. folks, there used to be a bargain in this country supported by democrats6 and republicans, business and labor7. the bargain was simple. if an employee contributed to the growth and profitability of the company, they got to share in the profits and the benefits as well. that's what built the middle class. it's time to restore the bargain, to deal the middle class back in. because, folks, when the middle class does well, everybody does well-the wealthy get wealthier and the poor have a way up.you know, the middle class is not a number. it's a value set. it means being able to own your home; raise your children in a safe neighborhood; send them to a good school where if they do well they can qualify to go to college and if they get accepted you'd be able to find a way to be able to send them to college. and in the meantime, if your parents need help, being able to take care of them, and hope to put aside enough money so that your children will not have to take care of you.分钟珍惜时间英语演讲稿篇八When asked “Whats the biggest mistake we make in life?” the Buddha replied. ” The biggest mistake is you think you have time.”当被问及“人生最大的错误是什么”佛祖会这样回答,“最大的错误是你认为你自己有时间。

In fact, it is very simple. The first step is to improve our appearance. We should always make sure that we stay in good shape and dress well. When we are healthy and wellgroomed, we will not only look better but also feel better. In addition, we should smile and appear friendly. After all,our facial eXpression is an important part of our appearance. If we can do this, people will be attracted to our good looks and impressed by our confidence.Another important step is developing more consideration for others. We should always put others first and place their interests before our own.Its also important to be good listeners; in this way people will feel comfortable enough to confide in us.However, no matter what we do, we must not gossip.Above all, we must remember to be ourselves, not phonies.Only by being sincere and respectful of others can we earn their respect. If we can do all of the above, I am surepopularity will come our way.英语两到三分钟的演讲稿篇2As the song goes “ My future isn’t a dream .” I love the song which brings me confidence when singing it every time .I believe that all our dreams can come true if we have courage to pursue them .When I was young my father always asked me whatI would be in the future .Sometimes I found it very hard to givea certain reply .“ I want to be a doctor .”“ I want to be a teacher .” and “ I ’d like to be a scientist !” Many of these answers are perhaps very childish and ridiculous .But I never think they are far away .How time flies! Who is able to give a definition to his future ? I know clearly that those high buildings are based on solid foundation .As a student , I should have a reasonable aim , and study hard .My goal is to enter the best university for further study after middle school .I know it’s hard work ,and I ’ll come across many difficulties and frustrations .But no matter what they are , I’ll keep working on it and never give up .My teacher says there ’s only one kind of people that are truly successful : those who are brave enough to put up with hardships .Even if I won’t achieve the goal , I have no regrets for what I have done , for I have struggled for my life .英语两到三分钟的演讲稿篇3Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, I’m very glad to make a speech here.Today my topic is “I love you, China.”Since the day I was born, I began to have a proud name —Chinese.Since the day I began to talk, the most beautiful sentence I’ve ever learnt has been “I love you, China!”I love you, China, and I’m so proud of being a Chinese.I’m proud that I’ve got the beautiful yellow skin, black eyes and black hair.I’m also proud that I speak the most beautiful language in the world—Chinese.I love you, China, for I can feel the deep love you give me every day, every st year, I got an opportunity to visit the United States of America.During my staying there,my father’s boss once invited my family to dinner. While at table,he looked at me and asked: “Little boy, how long have you been in America?”“About a month,” I answered,“How lucky you are!” he said,“If you were living in China, how could you learn such perfect English?” I smiled and told him proudly that all the students in China are able to learn English at school.I saw his surprised eyes and said to myself,“I’m proud of you,China. For you are offering us the best education.”When I came back from the USA, my friends asked me: “Howdo you feel about your staying there?”“Wonderful” I said.“Then why do you come back?” Hearing this, I told them there were lots of beautiful countries in the world, but none of them can compare with our own country—China. How true the saying is: “There’s no place like home!”I love you, China. As a young student, all we should do is to study hard and devote ourselves whole-heartedly in the future, to the great cause of building you into an even stronger and greater country in the world.I love you, my dear motherland!I love you, China!Thank you for your listening !英语两到三分钟的演讲稿篇4different people have different career outlooks.some people want to become civil servants; What if we thought of fear as an amazing act of the imagination, something that can be as profound and insightful as storytelling itself? Its easiest to see this link between fear and the imagination in young children, whose fears are often eXtraordinarily vivid. When I was a child, I lived in California, which is, you know, mostly a very nice place to live, but for me as a child,California could also be a little scary.I remember how frightening it was to see the chandelier that hung above our dining table swing back and forth during every minor earthquake, and I sometimes couldnt sleep at night, terrified that the Big One might strike while we were sleeping. And what we say about kids who have fears like that is that they have a vivid imagination. But at a certain point, most of us learn to leave these kinds of visions behind and grow up.We learn that there are no monsters hiding under the bed,and not every earthquake brings buildings down. But maybe its no coincidence that some of our most creative minds fail to leave these kinds of fears behind as adults.英语两到三分钟的演讲稿篇6during his presidency, bill clinton seized important opportunities on issues from welfare to free trade.he was a tireless champion of peace in the middle east.he used american power in the balkans to confront aggression and halt ethnic cleansing.and in all his actions and decisions, the american people sensed a deep empathy for the poor and the powerless.shortly before leaving office, president clinton said, "christ admonished us that our lives will be judged by how we do unto the least of our neighbors." throughout his career, bill clinton has done his best to live up to that standard.and americans respect him for it.at every stage of his remarkable life, president clinton has made and kept countless friends, who share in the joy of this day.and three people in particular have the largest part in this remarkable story.one day more than 30 years ago, inside the yale law library, a fellow student walked over to bill clinton and said, "if youre going to keep staring at me, and im going to keep staring back,we ought to at least know each others name.mines hillary rodham.what is yours?"that was a good day for both of them, and the beginning of a partnership unique in american history.so today, we honor the former first lady of arkansas, the former first lady of america, the united states senator from new york, senator hillary rodham clinton.perhaps the clintons greatest achievement is their daughter, who moved into the white house as a young girl, and left as an accomplished young lady.its not easy to be a teenager in the white house, but its a lot easier when you have a loving mother and a loving father that chelsea clinton had.this magnificent presidential library, and the american life it celebrates, would not have been possible without the love and sacrifice of a special lady.among his heroes, president clinton always includes his mother, virginia kelley,"a working woman and a widow." virginia was there when her son took the oath of office, and we know that she would be incredibly proud of this day.英语两到三分钟的演讲稿篇7good morning/afternoon/evening to mr.____(your teachers name)and my friends.i would like to introduce you a short novel named “the oldman and the sea”.it is written by ernest hemingway in cuba in 1951 and published in 1952.the story of an aging, life-long fisherman who attempts to find himself, and hopefully a fish, on a fishing trip in the gulf waters off cuba.after spending most of his life alone and losing his only companion who is a young cuban boy, the old man heads out to sea once again.his 84 days without a notable catch end on this trip, but will he be able to defeat the odds after catching a gigantic marlin?this short novel is universal in its consideration of the plight of an old man struggling against age, loneliness, mortality, humility and poverty to maintain his identity and dignity.apart from that, the cheerful and optimistic old man wants to reestablish his reputation in the community.besides,he also wants to ensure for all time his relationship with those he loves and to whom he hopes to paon everything he values the most.finally, he survives and wins the battle.this has shown his heroic struggle not only redeems himself but also inspires and spiritually enriches those around him.thanks for your attention.a common concept among some people is that opportunities are few.they always complain that opportunities never occur to them.they only admire those people who make a hit or succeed by seizing some opportunities, and always wonder why they are never given a good opportunity to show their talent.英语两到三分钟的演讲稿篇8good morning, ladies and gentlemen.i’d like to share my teaching dream with you.but before that,i want to say something about the beginning of this dream.in march this year, three teachers from australia came to our school.during the meeting, we eXchanged a lot about education.i found that though we have almost the same teaching philosophy, we have different routines.what impressed me most was that their schools end at 3:00 in the afternoon and have no night classes.i can’t tell which kind of routine is better, but the sharp contrast made me think about a better education.the following is a dreamy school in my mind, in which there is no pressure but pleasure.in this school, the buildings are well designed, close to nature.in the morning, children can read while enjoying the beautiful sunrise.in the evening, they can eXercise by the lake reflecting the amazing sunset.in the spring, they can go tothe wild, lie on the lawn, and watch the kite flying in the blue sky.in the summer, they can go to the forest, live in a cabin, and listen to the rhythm of the rain.…students are free but polite and they respect each other.they can leave at 4:00 every afternoon, or perhaps earlier.they have the freedom to organize time.they can go to the library,go to the lab,the computer rooms or the playground.they’re self-motivated and have a strong thirst for knowledge.and there are no frequent eXams and rankings.students won’t be forced to wear uniforms everyday, and there is no required hair style.everyday is so colorful that they are looking forward to the neXt day when going to bed at night, every teacher in this school can give a course as they like.there is no tedious rating, no scraps of quantitative management and no rigid standard.teachers can fully display their personality in class, and they feel very happy and content to teach.every morning, on thoughts of giving lessons, they are eXcited.after class, they are delighted , with smiles on their faces.some eXperts, scholars and masters are also visiting teachers in this school.yang zhenning can give physics classes for a day.yi zhongtian opens lectures on chineseculture for a week.speaking of music, we can ask wang lihong to give music lectures, just as he did in oXford university.if necessary, we can also invite david beckham to speak something about the world cup …the principal of the school focuses on education rather than waste time in endless meetings and social activities.teachers’ wages are not high but enough to live comfortably.there are no other things to do eXcept to teach.there are no paper requirements, no titles and no ranks because they don’t need to be judged by those things.almost every teacher is a well-known scholar and master in a particular field.a language teacher may be a writer at the same time.a math teacher may try to overcome a world-class guess.a physics teacher can win invention awards and a music teacher may return from an international music competition again.英语两到三分钟的演讲稿篇9Good afternoon, everyone! The topic of my speech today is “Being a Good Listener”.Good listening can always show respect, promote understanding, and improve interpersonal relationship. Many people suggest that parents should listen more to their children, so they will understand them better, and findit easy to narrow the generation gap; teachers should listen more to their students, then they can meet their needs better, and place themselves in a good relationship with their students; students should listen more to their classmates, thus they will help and learn from each other, and a friendship is likely to be formed. What I want to stress is that each of us should listen more to others.Show your respect and never stop others till they finish their talk; show you are interested by a supportive silence or a knowing smile; be open-minded to different opinions even though you don’t like them.In a word, good listening can really enable us to get closer to each other.Thank you for your listening!英语两到三分钟的演讲稿篇10president clinton, senator clinton, president carter and mrs.carter, president bush and mother governor and mrs.huckabee, distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen: laura and i are really pleased to be a part of this happy and historic occasion.on this day of dedication, we honor the man from hope, arkansas, who became the 42nd president of the united states.mr.president, congratulations.this presidential library chronicles a vivid era inamerican history, for the benefit of future generations.it will contribute to the vitality of this fine city and to the great state of arkansas.the collections here record the dedication and hard work of thousands, who brought talent and idealism to public service.and at the center of that era, at the head of that administration, was an able and energetic american.president bill clinton led our country with optimism and a great affection for the american people, and that affection has been returned.he gave all to his job, and the nation gave him two terms.in the early 1990s, the american people saw a young,well-spoken, relatively unknown governor rise to national prominence.yet for decades here in arkansas, the signs of destiny were clear.when young william entered a new school in the 4th grade, a classmate recalls, "he didnt mean to, but he just took the place over." when governor clinton declared his candidacy for president in this city, his close friends were not surprised in the least.theyd always known that bill clintons moment in history would come.arkansas is a state that knows political skill when you see it.a fellow in saline county was asked by his son why he liked governor clinton so much.he said, son, hell look you in theeye, hell shake your hand, hell hold your baby, hell pat your dog -- all at the same time.over the years, bill clinton showed himself to be much more than a good politician.his home state elected him governor in the 1970s, the 1980s, and the 1990s, because he was an innovator, a serious student of policy, and a man of great compassion.in the white house, the whole nation witnessed his brilliance and mastery of detail, his persuasive power, and his persistence.the president is not the kind to give up a fight.his staffers were known to say, "if clinton were the titanic, the iceberg would sink."英语两到三分钟的演讲稿篇11feeling of youthno young man believes he shall ever die.it was a saying of my brothers, and a fine one.there is a afternoon!recently, ther is a heated debate in our society.the college students are the beneficiaries of a rare privilege, who receive eXceptional education at eXtraordinary places.but will we be able to face the challenge and support ourselves against all odds? will we be able to better the lives of others? will we be able to accept the responsibility of building the future of our country?the cynics say the college students are the pampered lost generation, which would cringe at the slightest discomfort.but the cynics are wrong.the college students i see are eagerly learning about how to live independently.we help each other clean the dormitory, go shopping and bargain together, and take part time jobs to supplement our pocket money.the cynics say we care for nothing other than grades; and we neglect the need for character cultivation.but again, the cynics are wrong.we care deeply for each other, we cherish freedom, we treasure justice, and we seek st week, thousands of my fellow students had their blood type tested in order to make a contribution for the children who suffer from blood cancer.as college students, we are adolescents at the critical turning point in our the the mess of buildings outside, breathing the fresh air cosily.but just after a little while,he steps to his seat, staring at the computer screen till thenight.this man is very likely a programmer.there is a man who concentrates on his computer, but doesn’t care about however he dresses, or even whether he washes his face.there is a man who has a good knowledge of computer language, but has a low eq and makes a bad relationship with others.there is a man who stays at home and does his own work by himself day and night, but just has few friends.these images shown above probably are what people think of programmers as, in fact, programmers indeed give us a bad impression sometimes.however, people just have a partial understanding of programmers’ life, not to mention that they can know the fun of programming.there is no doubt that programs affect all aspects of our lives in an obvious or potential way, especially they are reflected in electronic products that we use nowadays.when you are so proud of possessing an iphone, you’d better remember that it is the program that makes you get confidence to show off the advanced mobile phones thoroughly.when you take advantage of computers to cope with problems in life, you’d better remember that it is the program that makes you seek the convenience of computer.when you needn’t worry about hot summer and cold though we have almost the same teaching philosophy, we have different routines.what impressed me most was that their schools end at 3:00 in the afternoon and have no night classes.i can’t tell which kind of routine is better, but the sharp contrast made me think about a better education.the following is a dreamy school in my mind, in which there is no pressure but pleasure.in this school, the buildings are well designed, close to nature.in the morning, children can read while enjoying the beautiful sunrise.in the evening, they can eXercise by the lake reflecting the amazing sunset.in the spring, they can go tothe wild, lie on the lawn, and watch the kite flying in the blue sky.in the summer, they can go to the forest, live in a cabin, and listen to the rhythm of the rain.…students are free but polite and they respect each other.they can leave at 4:00 every afternoon, or perhaps earlier.they have the freedom to organize time.they can go to the library,go to the lab,the computer rooms or the playground.they’re self-motivated and have a strong thirst for knowledge.and there are no frequent eXams and rankings.students won’t be forced to wear uniforms everyday, and there is no Land resources are dwindling because of water loss and soil erosion. Waste gases poison the air we breathe. The rivers and lakes are polluted by waste dumped in them from factories. It is probably no exaggeration to say that deterioration of the quality of the environment threatens the existence of mankind itself. Some people are of the opinion that the environmental problem is the price we have to pay for economic development. But I do not think that this argument is valid. After all, what is the point of economic growth if people’s lives are adversely alfected by worsening environmental pollution? There is plenty of evidence to show that sustainable development can be achieved by balancing economic growth with protection of the environment. The key to achieving this is to make people aware of the seriousness of the problem. Both governments and ordinary citizens should join hands to make this world a better place to live in, not only for ourselves, but also for future generations.不可否认的是环境恶化已成为当今世界上人们最担心的事了。

经典英语课前3分钟演讲稿范文(精选3篇)1Good morning, everyone, Im so glad to be here and make a presentation. Before my presentation, i’d like to ask you some quertions.Do you know Li na,the famous tennis athlete in China? How much do you know about her?I am sure that many students who have watched the Australian Tennis Championship on CCTV 5 during winter break. So today, i would like to talk about my thoughts of this game.On January 24, Li na won over Sharapova in the women s singles final. This is the third time that Li na has gone into the grand slam finals. Once again, On January 26, Li na went against a new opponent name Azarenka. On that day of the game, Li na was in the leadin the first inning, but during the second inning, she accidently fell down twice. People were shocked and sad about how she could not continue the game. But because of the people being worried, she doggedly continue the game, making the audience cheer and applauding her for her effort to continue her game. A t that time ,audience applauded foe her persistence.Although she lost the game, her hard effort and insistency moved us and motivated us.And this case also appreaded in tthe men singles final the next day. Two opponents named Murray and Djokovic wereagainst each other. Due to the game, Murrays foot had blisters that affected the way he played. The doctor had to treat his wound with medicine. As human beings, if we had blisters on our foot, we may feel a lot of pain and dont want to walk. However, as an athlete, Murray had to withstand the pain and strive for the victory. As far as I’m concerned, for professional athletes, games have become a part of their life. They fight inthe match, fight for their dream, and enjoy thir games. As students, studying is a part of our life.I know we may be confronted with many different kinds of problems, have you ever wangted to give it up? On the one hand, when i faced with difficulties,i felt sad and didn’t want to continue,on the other hand ,i would tell myself that:He who can sndure the greatest hardships will be the greatest among men.So to my way of thinking, on the road of studying, we need to learn how to keep ourself motivated and continue studying and learn how to make studying a better way to enjoy rather then boring ourself out. 经典英语课前3分钟演讲稿范文(精选3篇)2THE first time I saw Bao was in 20xx, the year when Thomas and Uber Cup was held. At that time he was playing against Li zongwei, who is also a good player from Malaysia. Bao beat him. To tell the truth, at first the reason why I liked him was just because I thought he was pretty.*(maybe it is not a suitable word, but I think no better word can describe him, he is really pretty!) From that time, I have focused on him. Then gradually, I found that he not only has good appearance, but also has a talent for badminton. He is very tall, about 1.90 meters. He is the tallest one among all the players in the Chinese Badminton Team. In 20xx, he ischosen as the flag holder stands for China in the opening ceremony in the 15th Asian Games held in Doha. It was the first time that the badminton players were chosen to take over the special task, before which time, it belonged to the basketball players. It was a great honor. And it also proved that Bao was an excellent athlete. We are all proud of him.He began to play badminton when he was at primary school. In 20xx, he won his first good medal, which was significant to him, in Guangzhou. Because of that, he entered the Chinese Badminton Team. As he is as old as Lin dan, who is the top one in the world, he is always put into a situation which is not good to him. He seldom beats Lin dan. In fact, his techniques are comprehensive, but he is lack of passion, the desire to win is not so strong. So he always has misplays. Due to this, he seldom wins the gold medal. I think this is related to his character. He is easygoing and couth; he looks as if he will never get angry with anybody. So this affects him while he is playing badminton. In a period of time, critical voice has come towards him. He is under great pressure. He was not in the best state. But recently he cheers up again. Several days ago, the Chinese Badminton Championship 20xx was held in Guangzhou. I went to see him on Saturday. I was very excited, and I shouted loudly, hoping he could hear me. There is no doubt that he won the game. Before he went away, he waved hand to us, how excited I was at that time! The next day, he beat Li zongwei again and he won the man’s single gold medal. All of us are very happy. After 7 years, which could be a long time for an athlete, he proved himself again in Guangzhou, which is considered as his lucky place.I think this will be the energy of his advancing. And I hope he can keep this fighting .Best wishes!经典英语课前3分钟演讲稿范文(精选3篇)3In my 18 years of life, there have been many things. university days are the best part of them. i can never forget the days when i stepped into my university. i was impressed by its garden—like campus, its enthusiastic students and especially its learning atmosphere. i at once fell in love with it.After the arduous military training, i get absolutely absorbed in my studies. the classes given by the teachers are excellent. they provide us with information not only from our textbooks but from many other sources as well. they easily arouse my insatiable desire to take in as much as i can.Frankly speaking, at first i had some difficulty following the teachers. however, through my own efforts and thanks to my teachers guidance, i made remarkable progress. now ive benefited a lot from lectures and many other academic reports.Learning is a long process; ill keep exploring in the treasure house of knowledge to enrich myself. this summer i got out of the ivory tower and entered the real world. a publishing house offered me a part—time job in compilation and revision. At the beginning i was belittled by my colleagues. but they were really surprised when i translated seven english articles over 5,000 words on only one day. gradually, they began to look at me with respectful eyes. in their opinion i turned out to be a useful and trustworthy colleague.I also realize that only those who bring happiness for others can be truly happy. so i often take part in activities concerning public welfare. i once went to a barren mountain village with my classmates. we taught the kids there who could not afford school. while showing them how broad and how civilized the outer worldis, i was deeply touched by their eagerness to learn, their honesty and their purity. i couldnt control my tears on the day when we left. the precious experience with the poor kids made me aware of the responsibility on the shoulders of us, future teachers.Bessides study and social practice, there are entertainments as well. i do body building every day, hoping to keep healthy and energetic. we also write a play and put it on in our spare time.Campus life is the most splendid time. but different people have different choices. the majority of students cherish their beautiful season and cherish the hope that one day theyll become outstanding. but there are indeed some students still under ignorance. they gather together for eating, drinking or playing cards. theyre busy in searching for a girlfriend or a boyfriend. they forget completely about their mission as college students and the hope of their motherland. Finally, i do hope everybody can try their best to become a worthy citizen of the country. i do hope everybody can become the backbone of our nation and make great contributions to society!。

3分钟英语精彩演讲稿三篇3分钟英语精彩演讲稿一It is easy to describe success in terms of money, fame and reputation. But I believe that success is not external. I believe that success comes from within. My definition of success is to be true to yourself, and be true to others. That means, that you must cherish your personal ideal even in the face of adversity. I also believe that success is not discriminatory. Success is not restricted to such a class of people, in fact, it may be achieved by any person irrespective of his race, creed, gender and economic background. A good example of success is that of Beethoven. He is one of the worlds most famous composers, yet he was deaf. He could not hear the majestic pieces of music that he created. Yet, in the face of this adversity, he was able to maintain his ideals--that of composing music. To exemplify what success means to me, I pose a question to all of you. What brings us together here today? I believe that it is the beauty of the spoken word. The effect of pause and the sound of rhetoric are unique to the spoken word. I believe the beauty of the spoken word is even stronger for those who havedifficulty in expressing themselves. These people are reclusive and had their emotions hidden within them. I once went to Australia and I saw two pictures, Once was drawn by a normal child, the other was drawn by a child with social inhibitions. The picture drawn by the normal child was simple and plain. The other was life-like, full of details and imagination. What this shows is that these are ideas, emotions and feelings that are locked internally in thesechildren. My ideal is to be the key, spreading the beauty of the spoken words to these children. These children have been neglected, but I feel that I can and should help these children to find themselves and be able to express themselves.I realize that this is a difficult task, and there are many obstacles on the way. But I believe in my ideals and I will stick to them--even in the face of adversity. We should never have a premature abortion of ideals--let the child, let our ideals, stand the challenge. For a life without ideals is not living.Thank you!3分钟英语精彩演讲稿二If There Were No After Life Whether theres afterlife, the answer has never beenthe same. The atheists deny after life, believing that our life is no more than from the cradle to the grave. They may care about their illustrious names after death; they may feel attached to the affection of their offspring, but they never lay their hopes on their afterlife. They may also say that good will be rewarded with good, and evil with evil, but they dont really believe any retribution in their after life. However, in the religious world or among the superstitious people, the belief in afterlife is very popular. They do not only believe in afterlife, but thousands of reincarnations as well. In the mysterious world, there are the paradise and the hell, the celestial beings and the gods, the Buddha and the Bodhisattvas.Maybe they really believed it, or maybe they just wanted to make use of peoples veneration, the ancient emperors always declared that they were the real dragons, the sons of God, while the royal ministers claimed to be the reincarnations of various constellations. But can the stars reincarnate? Many people burn incense and kowtow, do good deeds and strive for virtues, not just for the present, but mainly to let God see their sincerity so as to be reborninto a better afterlife, or to achieve the highest enlightenment after several lives of practice. They do believe in afterlife. But I cant help asking: Suppose there were no afterlife, would you still do good deeds and strive for virtues? And If God does not see what you are doing, would you still be so upright and selfless? If you work, not for serving the public and liberating the others, but just for a better afterlife of your own, isnt it a little too selfish? Comparing with this kind of believers, those who dont believe in afterlife, but still keep doing good deeds, are the most sincere and honest philanthropists, because they do them not for themselves but for other. You may wonder if I believe in afterlife. My answer is: I know nothing about my previous life, so I dare not make improper comments on afterlife. But I do hope theres afterlife! Because our present life is so short that so many things slip away before our proper understanding. I have so many dreams, so many wishes, so many ambitions, as well as so many regrets and concerns. If there were no afterlife, all of them will remain unrealized!Im not contented with the present commonplace life, Im very much attached to the affections that should havebeen mine but have been washed away by the hurrying time, and I yearn for the perfection and maturity if I could start all over again. So believe it or not, Id rather there were afterlife.3分钟英语精彩演讲稿三Let me begin my speech with a replay of scenes familiar to most, if not all, of those present here today.Mum, Im sorry, but I need 3,000 yuan for my tuition this year.Mum, it is my friends birthday tomorrow, I must buy her a present.Mum, this jacket was out of fashion long ago, would you do me a favor?Take. Take. Take. The relationship between a mother and a child always seems to follow such a pattern. I know my mother is always there for me, providing me with everything I need; from food to clothing, from tuition to pocket money. I never thought twice about all she did until one day she said, Will there be a time that youll say you have taken enough from me?Like a child endlessly asking, we humans, throughout history, have been continually demanding what we desire from nature. We enjoy the comfort and beauty of our furniture, yet we never bother to thinkabout the serious soil erosion caused by deforestation. We take it for granted that we must warm ourselves in winter times, yet we seldom realize the burning away of precious natural resources. We appreciate all the prosperity from the development of modern industry, yet few would give the slightest consideration to the global air and water pollution caused by industrial wastes. Our ruthless exploitation has permanently impaired our mother earth. As we tragically learned from last summers floods. we cannot continue our carelessness. Finally, standing here at the threshold of the 21st century, we cannot help thinking of our posterity. Nature is not only the mother of the present generation, but also the mother of the generations to come. How severely our descendents will criticize us if we leave them a barren and lifeless mother? How much more they will appreciate us if we give them a world of harmony to inherit? Let us start respecting and caring for nature from now on. Let us start the campaign of creating a mutually beneficial relationship between people and nature right from this moment. With this new start, I firmly believe, that our children, and our childrens children will live in a brand new age of greentrees, clean air, crystal water, blue sky and an even more promising world!3分钟英语精彩演讲稿三篇。
