Today, my speech topic is Easter [ˈistɚ].
Easter is the oldest one of the most festivals [ˈfɛstəvəl] .It celebrates [ˈsɛləˌbret] the resurrection [ˌrɛzəˈrɛkʃən] of Christ [kraɪst] and Christians [ˈkrɪstʃən] around the world every year .
Good Friday：Christians say that Jesus [ˈdʒi:zju:] died on Good Friday. But he rose from the death on the third day. He was alive again.
Go to Church：Christians go to church [tʃɚtʃ] on Easter Sunday. They leave at sunrise [ˈsʌnˌraɪz] . They sing and pray [pre] .
This are the other activities：
1、On Easter morning, the children hunt [hʌnt] for their baskets.
2、Children color eggs too.
3、Families eat a big dinner on Easter Sunday.
