Just as a saying goes, …Honesty is the best policy‟. We should tell the truth to others instead of lies. Doing homework by ourselves is our own duty. We shouldn‟t cheat the parents, the teachers or even ourselves. If we always tell lies, we will lose friends. Therefore, if we want to be the persons liked by others, try to be honest first. Honesty is the most beautiful thing in the world.

We are middle school students and we are busy with our lessons. So some people think we should concentrate more on our studies. If we volunteer to help others, it‟s a waste of time. But I think volunteering is great. I not only feel good about helping others but also get to spend time doing what I love to do. And from volunteering I have learned many things that I have never learned in class. So if I have an opportunity, I‟d like to visit old people‟s home to clean up for them. I‟d also like to help sick kids in hospital. I love kids and I plan to put my love to good use by working in hospital. In a word, I‟d like to help people who need help. If everyone helps out a bit, the world will be more colorful.

Great changes have taken place in Shanghai in the past few years. You can see many tall buildings. Our life becomes more and more convenient. We are proud of them. I should learn English well and read some books about Chinese culture so that I can introduce Shanghai to the foreigners. I think Shanghai is great.

Many wild animals are facing the danger of extinction, because the environment that they are living in has changed greatly. For example，with the development of cities, the using of insecticide and serious pollution, their living areas have become narrower and narrower. Many of the wild animals now are confronted with food crisis. At the same time, man is killing off species just for

getting their fur, skin, horns, teeth and meat.

In order to protect our resources of ecology，people should realize that the loss of any species is at least the loss of source of knowledge and a source of natural beauty. Therefore, measures of the following should be taken pollution standards are made to keep down poisons；killing off certain rare species is prohibited，national parks should be set up as wild life，reserves.

Only if we human beings take some drastic measures can wild animals be preserved.

Many people have their own unforgettable activities. So do I.

When I was ten, I took part in a sports meeting. My teacher asked me to run, and I was frightened by this, because I couldn‟t run fast. Some of my classmates gave me a hand. They told me ways of running faster. I tried my best to run. And I ran as fast as I could. At last, though I didn‟t win the prize, I thought it was an unforgettable activity, because I tried my best, and I realized how important friendship is!

As you know, many students like to work on the Internet. Of course, it can bring us many good things. We can learn more knowledge outside our books, practice our spoken English with someone else and look up some useful information.

At the same time, it can bring us some bad things as well. Some students have made too many friends, seen some bad information that is not good for us and spent too much time on it. We should know what to do and what not to do.

I went to Hong Kong with my family last year. We all enjoyed ourselves in Hong Kong. We went to the Ocean Park and took photos with dolphins. We also visited the Disneyland Amusement Park. As we all know, Hong Kong is known as the …Shopping Paradise‟. We bought many gifts for our friends, too. It was the first trip for me to travel with my family because they were very busy. I think traveling with my family is the happiest thing I‟ve ever done. I enjoyed every minute of it.
