NanoMQS –全新微型化汽车连接系统白皮书作者:Julius Maier,产品经理Rolf Jetter,工程经理Michael Spielvogel,产品工程经理尺寸小-重量轻-抗振性能高基于欧洲及其它各地汽车厂商广泛使用的MQS系列连接器,TE Connectivity开发了微型NanoMQS端子,扩展了该产品系列。
NanoMQS端子压接线径减小至0.13mm2,为降低线束重量创造了条件;同时,Nano-MQS具有很高的抗振性能(例如密封版本能承受400g的正弦振动)。
这款性能可靠的微型端子以及对应的插座和插头有助于提高汽车电子元件的集成度,可减少约50%的PCB布局面积,同时还能提供高达3安培的载流能力。
第一代的TL型(顶端卡扣)系列产品的位数可高达32位,更紧凑型的SL型(侧面卡扣)系列可高达20位。
简介最初的MQS系列是在90年代中期专为汽车连接系统而设计的连接器,具有密度高、设计可靠、双卡锁及结构紧凑等特点。
该系列产品已经成功地应用于2.54mm间距的线对线和线对板的连接。
仅2011年一年,TE Connectivity的MQS端子的年产量高达110亿个。
经过多年发展,最初的MQS系列已经扩展到MPC和PQ系列,用于承载更高的电流(见图1所示)。
车用电子元器件数目的增加带动了元件小型化的需求。
产品功能的增多要求布局尽可能紧凑,例如电子控制单元(ECU)中的PCB板。
这种小型化趋势也延续到连接器技术。
在某些情况下,例如对发动机舱内的传感器来说,连接器也是小型化的制约因素。
因此,TE Connectivity进一步扩展了MQS产品系列,开发了微型化的NanoMQS连接系统。
该系列端子连同第一代的插头和插座都已经量产并应用于汽车领域。

基于欧洲及其它各地汽车厂商广泛使用的MQS系列连接器,TE Connectivity开发了微型NanoMQS端子,扩展了该产品系列。
NanoMQS端子压接线径减小至0.13mm2,为降低线束重量创造了条件;同时,Nano-MQS具有很高的抗振性能(例如密封版本能承受400g的正弦振动)。
这款性能可靠的微型端子以及对应的插座和插头有助于提高汽车电子元件的集成度,可减少约50%的PCB布局面积,同时还能提供高达3安培的载流能力。
第一代的TL型(顶端卡扣)系列产品的位数可高达32位,更紧凑型的SL型(侧面卡扣)系列可高达20位。
简介
最初的MQS系列是在90年代中期专为汽车连接系统而设计的连接器,具有密度高、设计可靠、双卡锁及结构紧凑等特点。
该系列产品已经成功地应用于2.54mm间距的线对线和线对板的连接。
仅2011年一年,TE Connectivity的MQS端子的年产量高达110亿个。
经过多年发展,最初的MQS系列已经扩展到MPC和PQ系列,用于承载更高的电流(见图1所示)。
车用电子元器件数目的增加带动了元件小型化的需求。
产品功能的增多要求布局尽可能紧凑,例如电子控制单元(ECU)中的PCB板。
这种小型化趋势也延续到连接器技术。
在某些情况下,例如对发动机舱内的传感器来说,连接器也是小型化的制约因素。
因此,TE Connectivity进一步扩展了MQS产品系列,开发了微型化的NanoMQS连接系统。
该系列端子连同第一代的插头和插座都已经量产并应用于汽车领域。

NanoMQS 连接系统的元器件
A - 适用于空间紧凑和高振动等级的端子
NanoMQS 系列的核心产品是单片压接式端子(接触件)(如图2所示)
标准版的母端子件由镀锡铜合金制成,可分别用于0.13 mm 2-0.22mm 2和0.35 mm 2这两种规格尺寸的导线。
与其对配的公端则为0.5x0.4mm 的矩形针。
采用镀锡端子的连接器应用环境温度为-40℃-105℃,而镀银端子应用环境温度可高达170℃,可适用于发动机舱内环境。
NanoMQS 标准的载流能力为3安培,允许的瞬间电流峰值是其载流能力的5倍。
对配时,母端子通过L 形弹片与公端子建立两个接触点,并产生较大接触力。
NanoMQS 端子被设计成一个封闭的方形结构。
结合塑壳上保证公端平顺插入的导向结构,这种方形结构设计可以有效防止公端插入时顶到母端子而损坏母端锁片。

弹片
位于连接器上端的锁槽具有两级锁止结构。
当端子完全插入时,端子顶部的锁片卡入塑壳中,起到完全锁止作用(见图示3)。
塑壳上的缺口可以方便检验端子是否插入到位。
用最大5牛顿的插入力,这种锁扣可使一次锁保持力高达30 牛顿;塑壳上独立的二次锁结构更能提供至少50牛顿的保持力。
防错设计
为保证端子的使用安全性和操作便利性,端子的截面结构上具有方向性,其方向与塑壳孔位的方向性保持一致,这种卡扣设计可有效避免端子的误插操作。
与MQS系列一样,NanoMQS系列的对配次数为20次。
用户可选择手动或全自动方式将端子装入塑壳。
空间减半
NanoMQS端子适用于1.8mm的孔位间距。
因此,对于相同位数的板端插头,NanoMQS插头占用的空间只有MQS插头的一半。

NanoMQS如此紧凑的间距要求塑壳的壁厚更薄,这就对注塑工艺提出了更高要求。
为此,TE Connectiv-ity将自身领先的多种生产工艺都运用到了该产品。
显然,高度集成的NanoMQS端子在多位连接器的应用中更有优势。
如图4实例所示,采用MQS端子板端插头的布局面积为840mm2,而采用NanoMQS端子布局面积可减少为411mm2。
图5则对比了正在开发的发动机ECU插头,将254位MQS系列换成284位NanoMQS系列,其可在空间上节省60%。

基于1.8mm间距和大一号端子的间距很容易配成整数倍,NanoMQS端子适合与MQS系列的其他端子在同一个塑壳内混用(如图6所示),其二次锁的高度与MQS系列的其他端子相同。
B -高性能塑料制成的连接器塑壳
NanoMQS塑壳由高性能塑胶制成,有TL型(顶端卡扣)和SL型(侧面卡扣)两种版本,都可以应用于直插式和90°弯角式的板端连接器上。
两种版本在某些方面具有差异,最显著的差异是卡扣位置不同。
TL型的卡扣位于塑壳顶部的中央位置(如图7所示)。
此结构的优势是容易实行并排安装;同时增加了扩充位数的灵活性。
例如三个32位通用型连接件可以扩充成一个高达96位的高集成连接系统,还能根据后续用户需求进行变换,并且不需要进行技术变更。
相比之下,SL型的卡扣位于塑壳侧面(如图8所示),其结构更紧凑。
对于TL型,从2位到32位需要通过加强筋来提高塑壳强度;而20位以内的SL型塑壳则不需要加强筋。

由于卡扣结构紧凑,母端连接器与插头的配合区形成一个楔形结构,在连接器对配时起平顺导引作用。
当公母端完全配合后,重叠区的楔形结构可提供可靠的连接。

高达4级的抗振能力
抗振动和抗冲击性是汽车电气连接的关键性需求。
LV214标准定义了欧洲地区的相关测试等级。
据此标准,NanoMQS系列的标准版可达到第2等级(约3g的随机振动和30g的冲击)。
尽管等级2是针对密封型产品提出的要求,然而,目前的非密封型NanoMQS产品已经达到该等级的要求。

如果增加了密封件(如图10所示),NanoMQS产品则能达
到第3乃至第4振动等级,能够达到安装在发动机周边或舱内
元件所需的要求。
NanoMQS甚至可以应用在振动高达400g
的喷油嘴系统上。
便于自动组装
NanoMQS是专为具有量产性和对质量有较高要求的汽车行业而设计。
0.13至0.35 mm2的线径,可用手工压接工具,也可以采用带气动或伺服驱动送料机构的自动压接机。
对于小线径导线自动压接工艺的品质控制和验证,可以通过标准的压接监控系统来进行。
手工压接亦可达到自动压接相同品质。
手工压接工具所具有操作灵活性,使其方便在狭小的空间内作业。
板端插头具备自动组装的结构特征:机械抓爪可以夹持产品的侧表面,吸嘴可以吸附产品上表面。
在PCB板端的连接方式灵活多样,与当前主流的连接方式相同。
目前,公端能适用于波峰焊和回流焊工艺;Press-fit(压入配合)公端尚在开发中。
表面贴装(SMD)版本的产品可以保证与PCB板精确对准。
同时,为方便产品焊接前的测试,产品设计有金属的卡板结构。
此外,塑壳上的凹槽或翻边结构可以消除焊接过程产生的应力。
将插头装在PCB上时,导位柱起最基本的定位作用,可以确保抓爪在无推入力状态下将插头精准地放置在PCB板上。
总结
NanoMQS为车辆信号连接提供了一种全新的微型化解决方案。
根据不同的应用,该1.8mm间距的紧凑型系统可以节省约50%的PCB板布局面积和连接器空间。
采用NanoMQS端子,除了减轻连接器重量之外,压接线径可以减小至0.13 mm2。
更重要的是,NanoMQS可与大号的MQS端子集成在多位混合型电力和信号连接器上。
对于众所关注的特性,如产品对配次数、应用环境温度、保持力和抗振性能,NanoMQS端子不但秉承了MQS系列的优势,而且在某些方面甚至超越了MQS系列。
首款NanoMQS密封型产品已经成功应用于汽车内饰(车顶模块)上。
