doubt 的用法

●doubt 的用法

无论doubt用作名词还是动词，在肯定句中其后跟whether从句，在否定句和疑问句，其后跟that从句

1 作为名词

There is no doubt that 从句毫无疑问

There is some doubt whether 从句

There is some doubt about sth.

例；There is no doubt that our experiment will succeed.

There is some doubt whether she will

come on time.

2 作为动词，后跟宾语从句

例I do not doubt that Chinese diet is the healthiest in the world

We doubt if/ wether he will come.

3 固定搭配

In doubt 不确定的without doubt 确定的

●This/that/there/it is(was) a time when….正值是…的时期

例:There was a time when I was buried in

playing computer games.有一段时间我迷恋电玩

●prove 证明证实

1 及物动词的用法

Prove sth. to sb. 向某人证明…..

Prove sth/sb (to be)+n/adj 证明….是…

Prove +从句

例Can you prove your theory to us?

Can you prove him(to be)honest?

Can you prove where you were

yesterday?

2 系动词的用法

Prove（to be）+n/adj 被证明是…..

例His words proved ( to be) right

●agree with/ to/on的用法区别

agree with 后接sb/ one’s opinion/ what

one said

食物, 气候, 适合某人

例: mutton doesn’t agree with me. agree to 后跟plan , suggestion, proposal

arrangement

agree on 在…方面取得一致意见

例：We agreed on the plan.

●rather than 而不是….，与其说…不如说….

例：They were shouting rather than talking

He is an artist rather than a

philosopher.（哲学家）

would do … rather than do….

prefer to do … rather than do….

例：I would die rather than give in to him.

●care about 和care for

care about: 由于某事重要或出于责任而

关心，在乎

care for : 照顾，喜欢

例：He cares for her sick mother.

I don’t care about your opinion.
