一、教学目标

1、知识目标

·能听懂、会说新单词learn,cycle,mend,beautifully,clean,及词组skating rink,fall over,never mind。

·能理解并复述课文

·能正确使用“want to do something……”表达某人想要做某事的意愿,并正确运用过去时态。

2、能力目标

培养学生不论在生活还是学习中遇到困难时要有克服困难的勇气和乐于助人的优良品质。

3、情感目标

·教育学生要经常做运动,才能让我们的身体更加健康。

·培养学生的合作能力、提高他们的互帮互助意识。

六、教学过程

1、Greeting

T:Hoe are you? Students :I'm fine,thank you ,and you?

T:I'm fine,too.I'm happy to see you.Are you happy?(设计意图:与学生进行课前交流,拉近师生之间的关系,为后面的拓展练习埋下伏笔。)

2、Free talk

What do you like doing?

What are you good at?(设计意图:课前热身运动,学生自由交流,可以活跃课堂气氛,吸引学生的注意力,还能让学生更好的融入学习状态。)

Step 2Presentation and drill

1、用多媒体出示skating rink的图片,

T:I like skating very much.Look,this is a skating rink.I often go to the skating rink.

Show word card and teach :skating rink

Students repeat and practice reading.

Show word card :learn and fall over

T: I like skating, but I am not good at it. So when I am in

the skating rink, I always fall over.

Students repeat and practice reading learn and fall over.

2、listen to the tape of part B.Ask students to repeat.

3、Game:What's missing?

将板书在黑板上的单词中的一、两个字母擦掉,分组请学生快速反应是哪些字母?反应快、准确率高的那组嬴。(设计意图:让学生在课堂上就能比较容易的掌握单词,而且这一任务是学生很容易完成的,六年级的学生表现欲很强,他们渴望在活动中取得成功,成功的喜悦更能激发他们学习的热情。)

Step 3 Fast reading

1.Show the picture

T:Look at the picture. The boy's name is Peter.What's he doing?

Help students answer:He is skating.

2、Play the teaching tape,students listen and answer the question:

Is Peter good at skating?(Yes,he is)

Step 4 Intensive reading

1 T:Peter is good at skating. You see,he can skate beautifully. Write it on the blackboard and teach:beautifully.

Look at the picture.There is a girl in the pictuer.Her name is Anne.Can she skate beautifully?(No,she can't.)

Teach: She can't skate beautifully.

She can't skate like Peter. Students repeat.

2 Let students read the text quickly,and then answer questions.

What did Peter tell Anne to do to skate like Peter?(He told Anne to put her arms out and try to keep her legs stright.

3 Listen and repeat

用多媒体播放课文录像,学生跟读。(设计意图:利用多媒体辅助教学,能让学生更加直观的感受课文,模仿课文的语音语调,可以为学生打下一个良好的语音基础。)

4 Practice

Read part Acarefully again.Then do part C

Check their answers and then read the article.

Practice reading.

(设计意图:学生通过练习熟悉课文,能让他们更加牢固的掌握本课内容。)Step 5 Consolidation

1、用多媒体出示多张图片,让学生运用新句型进行实际交流,老师先示范;学生根据示范来模仿;

2、让学生自由练习课文内容,然后请三组学生上台表演;

3、评价:对学生的表演进行评价,给予肯定和鼓励,激发学生学英语的热情。(设计意图:通过合作学习,培养学生的合作能力,让学生在活动中运用新知识进行交际,提高学生综合运用语言的能力。)
