Before I start my speech, I’d like to ask you a simple question: what’s you r hobby? Or what’s your favorite thing? Some of you may immediately tell me your answer. Such as running, reading or singing. But I believe some of you may have some hesitation about my question. You may be lost in thought, what’s my real hobby? Is it playing video games or watching soap operas? Why I feel boring about my daily life sometimes? Why I feel a strong shock of loneliness many times when I woke up?If you haven’t develop ed any hobbies, you may miss many beautiful sceneries of your life. First, you may have a high probability to feel depressed or tired, you can’t realize the true value of your life. Second, you would never enhance your knowledge, and lack of knowledge straightaway influence your self-confidence.Up to now, you may say: oh, I agree with your opinions, could you give me some advice? Here are my suggestions: First, you can transform what you already enjoy into a hobby. For example, things like “eating” and “watching sports” could easily be turned into hobbies such as “taking cooking classes” or “joining a footballteam”. Second, reclaim your childhood interests. When you were a kid, what did you like to do? Find the hobbies you love when you were a kid, and revisiting them as an adult can be a great way.If you developed a hobby successfully, you may find there are many advantages. First of all, you can release your stress. Second, by keeping yourself occupied with something you enjoy, not only will you be less bored and therefore a happier person, but it'll make you a more interesting person to be around and could force you to make new friends. What’s more, you’ll have an awesome skill to talk about and showcase to the world.Developing hobbies can really bring us lots of pleasures, and make our life more meaningful. I want to share with you some of my hobbies, I love cooking especially baking, I have made breads, cakes and some other desserts. Besides, I love photography and film editing, here are some photos that I took, and I’m also a video uploader at bilibili website. These hobbies enriched my life and I learn amounts of new knowledge from them. So I just want to advocate you to join me and find what you really interested in. Just go for it from right now. We decided to do a research about how our classmates hobbies formed. At first, we had a discussion about which issue shall we choose. After discussing, three issues are involved in our investigation. And then we made a questions list for the research. There are 3 or 4 questions for each issue. Our classmates, as the interviewee, will be asked. The answer will be analyzed when we end the interview. Three members took charge of the interview . The others draw a conclusion.
