高一英语概要写作文章
高一英语概要写作文章英文回答:In my opinion, summary writing is an essential skillthat all high school students should learn. It not only helps us understand and remember the main points of a text, but also improves our overall language proficiency. When summarizing a text, we need to carefully read and analyze the content, identify the key ideas, and then express them concisely in our own words. This process requires us tohave a good grasp of vocabulary, grammar, and sentence structure. Moreover, summary writing helps us develop critical thinking skills. By summarizing a text, we are forced to think deeply about its main ideas and the relationships between them. This enables us to better comprehend the author's message and evaluate the validity of their arguments. For example, when summarizing a persuasive essay, we need to identify the author's main points and supportingevidence, and then decide whether we agree or disagree with their viewpoint.Furthermore, summary writing trains us to be more efficient readers. When we practice summarizing, we learn to skim and scan a text for important information, rather than getting bogged down in every detail. This skill is particularly useful when we are faced with a large amount of reading material and limited time. For instance, when preparing for an exam, we can quickly review the summaries we have written to refresh our memory and focus on the most crucial points. In conclusion, summary writing is a valuable skill that high school students should develop. It not only enhances our language proficiency, but also improves our critical thinking and reading efficiency. By practicing summary writing, we can become more effective communicators and better understand the texts we encounter.中文回答:在我看来,概要写作是所有高中学生都应该学习的一项重要技能。

When I arrived at 6 a.m. in the large hospital kitchen, Rose was already checking name tags on the trays (托盘).Hi, I'm Janet."I tried to sound cheerful, although I already knew Rose's reputation for being impossible to work with. "I'm scheduled to work with you this week."Rose stopped what she was doing and peered over her reading glasses. I could tell from her expression she wasn't pleased to sec a student worker.“What do you want me to do? Start the coffee?”I asked.Rose coldly nodded and went back to checking name tags.I filled the 40-cup pot with water and began making the coffee when Rose yelled, “That’s not the way to make coffee.”She stepped in and took over.Nothing I did pleased her. All morning, her eagle eyes missed nothing and her sharp words hurt.Totally exhausted, I trudged the six blocks home late that June afternoon. As a third year university student working my way through school, I had never before met anyone like Rose.Fighting back tears, I wrestled with my dilemma alone in my room. "What shall I do?"The answer caught me completely by surprise. I needed to love Rose.Working with Rose the next morning, I ignored the hurtful remarks thrown in my direction and did things Rose’s way as much as possible. As I worked, I silently began to surround Rose with a warm blanket of love.Over the next few days, an amazing thing began to happen. My focus shifted from what she was doing to me and I started seeing Rose as the hurting person she was. Then her icy tension began to melt away.Throughout the rest of the summer, we had numerous opportunities to work together. Each time, she seemed truly happy to see me. Her bitterness gave way as she started opening up. As I worked with this lonely woman, I listened to her, something no one else had done. I learned that she was burdened by elderly parents who needed her care and her own health problems. The days slipped by quickly as I finished the last several weeks of my summer job. I soon would be returning as a full-time university student and say goodbye to Rose.注意:1. 所续写短文的词数应为150左右;2. 应使用5个以上短文中标有下划线的关键词语;3. 续写部分分为两段,每段的开头语已为你写好;4. 续写完成后,请用下划线标出你所使用的关键词语。

高一英语故事续写训练(1)Getting rid of dirt, in the opinion of most people, is a good thing. However, there is nothing fixed about attitudes to dirt.In the early 16th century, people thought that dirt on the skin was a means to block out disease, as medical opinion had it that washing off dirt with hot water could open up the skin and let ills in. A particular danger was thought to lie in public baths. By 1538, the French king had closed the bath houses in his kingdom. So did the king of England in 1546. Thus began a long time when the rich and the poor in Europe lived with dirt in a friendly way. Henry IV, King of France, was famously dirty. Upon learning that a nobleman had taken a bath, the king ordered that, to avoid the attack of disease, the nobleman should not go out.Though the belief in the merit (好处) of dirt was long-lived, dirt has no longer been regarded as a nice neighbor ever since the 18 century. Scientifically speaking, cleaning away dirt is good to health. Clean water supply and hand washing are practical means of preventing disease. Yet, it seems that standards of cleanliness have moved beyond science since World War II. Advertisements repeatedly sell the idea: clothes need to be whiter than white, cloths ever softer, surfaces to shine. Has the hate for dirt, however, gone too far?Attitudes to dirt still differ hugely nowadays. Many first-time parents nervously try to warn their children off touching dirt, which might be responsible for the spread of disease. On the contrary, Mary Ruebush, an American immunologist (免疫学家), encourages children to play in the dirt to build up a strong immune system. And the latter (后者) position is gaining some ground. One possible version:People have mixed opinions towards dirt on our skin. (要点1 ) For a long time in history, people of some European countries, such as France, believed that dirt protected people from getting ill. (要点2 ) However, people began to change their attitudes to dirt about 200 years ago. People have been told that washing dirt off our body can keep us healthy. (要点3) However, some scientists believe that exposure to some dirt may help our immune system. (要点4)【范文点拨】(一)要点分析1. 文章第一段就是本篇文章的主题句,亮明了总的观点:However, there is nothing fixed about attitudes to dirt. 换句话说:Different people have different attitudes towards dirt. 再结合下文谈到的主题可知Different people have different attitudes towards dirt on the skin. 范文中的要点1“People have mixed opinions towards dirt on our skin. ”概括非常精炼。

英语总结材料作文模板高中
英语总结材料作文模板高中"英文,"In my opinion, a good English summary should include the main points of the material, be well-organized, and use clear and concise language. When summarizing, it's important to focus on the most important information and leave out any unnecessary details. Additionally, a good summary should be structured in a way that makes it easyfor the reader to follow and understand. For example, when summarizing a novel, I would first introduce the main characters and setting, then briefly outline the plot, and finally touch on the major themes or messages of the book. This structure helps the reader to get a clear understanding of the story without getting lost in too many details."中文,"在我看来,一个好的英语总结应该包括材料的主要观点,组织得当,并使用清晰简洁的语言。

Students who have used electronic cigarettes by the time they start ninth grade are more likely than others to start smoking traditional cigarettes and other tobacco products within the next year, according to a new study funded by the National Institutes of Health. Electronic cigarettes, ore-cigarettes, deliver nicotine to the lungs by heating a liquid solution that contains nicotine and other chemicals to produce a spray that the user takes in.As part of a survey of substance use and mental health among high school students in Los Angeles, the study compared the start of tobacco use among 222 students who had used e-cigarettes, but not any other tobacco products, and 2,308 who had neither used e-cigarettes or any other tobacco products when initially surveyed at the start of ninth grade. The 2,530 students who initially reported never using tobacco underwent follow-up assessments after six and 12 months. Students were asked about lifetime and pastsix-month use of e-cigarettes or any other forms of tobaccoproducts.During the first six months after being surveyed, 30.7 percent of those who had used e-cigarettes started using tobacco products, such as cigarettes, and cigars, compared to only 8.1 percent of those who had never used e-cigarettes. Over the following six months leading into the start of 10th grade, 25.2 percent of e-cigarette users had used tobacco products, compared to just 9.3 percent of nonusers.“While teen tobacco use has fallen in recent years, this study confirms that we should continue to closely watch teen smoking patterns,”said NIDA Director Nora D. Volkow, M.D. “Parents and teens should recognize that althoughe-cigarettes might not have the same harmful effects of regular cigarettes, they do carry a risk of addiction.”“Recreational e-cigarette use is becoming increasingly popular among teens who have never smoked tobacco,”said Adam M. Leventhal, Ph.D., the first author on the study. “While we cannot conclude that e-cigarette use directly leads to smoking, this research raises concerns that recent increases in youth e-cigarette use could ultimately lead to the spread of smoking-related illness."【参考答案】As indicated in a new study, early exposure to e-cigarettes may trigger tobacco smoking in teens.(要点一) Comparison of tobacco use initiation between students with e-cigarettes experiences and those nonusers has been made, the result of which reveals a significant increase of smoking tendency in the former. (要点二、三) With the prevalence of e-cigarettes, it’s worth paying attention to teens’smoking patterns and considering the detrimental effects possibly exerted by e-cigarettes. 高三英语备考概要写作高分素材1【模考链接】For most of us, social media, like Twitter and Facebook, is a part of our everyday lives—at work, home or both. But a lot of people are still figuring out when to use it and how. This is especially true in high school, where many teachers are unsure of how it fits in the classroom.Dan Krutka, a high school teacher, is an advocate for using social media in the classroom, and is an enthusiastic user of Twitter himself. Krutka says it's a great way to communicate with his students during nonclass hours. "You can continue to learn together outside the classroom," says Krutka. "So when students are posting on Twitter—say they post something inaccurately or they make a really good point—I can go ahead and respond to them before class." Krutka says tweeting with his students isn't just about convenience, it's a lesson. He says students need to learn how to use social media properly. "People use social media irresponsibly and school should be a place where we're talking about that and how to use it responsibly," he says. "As a teacher, I think part of my job is to help students understand how to make best use of it as thoughtful learners.”But Krutka is among the few educators who feel this way. Many schools, including those in Western Massachusetts, are still struggling with whether or not Twitter or Facebook should be used as teaching tools. Many teachers believe that social media in general can easily distract students. Sean Kavanagh, a ninth grade world history teacher, tried using Twitter in class, but was distracted by all of the nonclass related "noise".Besides, it seems that some students don't feel like this way either. Ray Lynn is in Kavanagh's history class. "I'd rather keep my school and my personal social media life a little more separate," she says. "I'd rather not have my teacher on my Twitter or Facebook."第一步:通读理解全文,了解文章结构,明确各段落之间的逻辑关系,提取全文中心词(尤其是名词与动词)。

一On June 28, my parents celebrated 70 years of marriage.Mom and Dad live in Calverton. They have been through years of hard work and good times, always supporting each other. As a child, I remember my parents working side by side for spring, fall, winter, and summer cleaning or working in the yard, or painting, and wallpapering. My parents bought a house in Elmont. They never believed they’d be able to own their own home, and to them, it was their castle. They worked hard to decorate it and kept it looking beautiful. They taught us to work hard and to appreciate everything we had.Mom likes everything –sightseeing, clubs, anything, and everything. Dad, even today, can’t understand why she always wants to go out!Mom is still active with the Red Hatters women’s group and her gardening club. Dad spoils her by taking care of the house, but also watches a lot of baseball and does jigsaw puzzles (拼图游戏). The key to their successful marriage is that they respect each other. With the help of my brother, they also stay current with new technology. Their latest acquisition is an iPad.My brother, who is 67, and I (now 69), have always known we are lucky to have such great parents. They have shown us what love is, what hard work is, and what respect is all about. My daughter and I try to see them almost every weekend when we play cards together and catch up on the week’s news.My parents are the glue that holds our whole family together, making holidays and ordinary days special to us all.I know we are lucky to have them both, I even save all of their voice-mail messages, just so I’ll have their voice to hear when eventually they are not here. But Mom keeps telling us all she’s definitely (绝对地) going to live to be 100. So we will have a few more holidays, birthdays, and memories to experience.Summary writing 概要写作Please write a summary of the article in about 60 words.参考范文:My parents just celebrated 70 years of marriage. They’ve respected and supported each other for a very long time. They bring our whole family closer and we always have a good time together. They taught us valuable life lessons – gratitude, love and respect. We are lucky to have such great parents二Two years ago, I watched the film Everest, in which adventurers get stuck on the mountain during a snowstorm. I immediately knew I had to start climbing. It’s not the reaction most people have to that film; maybe I just needed more adventure in my life. But six months later, I climbed my first mountain, Mount Whitney, in California –North America’s highest peak (顶峰).In the summer of 2017, I decided to climb the highest peak in every European country.Growing up in Sweden, I was encouraged by my father to be outdoors all the time, but I wasn’t a serious adventurer. I wanted to see if someone ordinary like me could climb mountains.I didn’t do any preparation for the first mountain, which was Mount Elbrus in Russia. It was exhausting, but I thought I would get fit climbing the rest, and I did.Climbing mountains is an experience that is hard to put into words. You are in a beautiful environment and, when you reach the top, you feel incredible (不可思议的). But you also have to climb down, which is when most acc idents happen. I don’t climb mountains that I am not ready for, but each one I climb takes me to the next step.I wanted to end the project at home, on Sweden’s highest peak (2,097 m). It has two peaks: the north is rocky, and the south is icy. So alongside my camera assistant, I climbed both while wearing a superhero suit. It didn’t feel as special as I’d hoped when I reached the top, but when I posted on Instagram, people started congratulating me, I felt proud. In total, I spent about €50,000 (378,240 yuan), which is double what I had planned, but I eventually climbed 61 mountains in Europe. You have to work on your weak sides while climbing. I don’t like not being in control, but you cannot control anything on a mountain. It’s made me a better person. When you’re on a mountain for hours alone with your thoughts, it’s like meditation (冥想). It makes you so much stronger, physically, and mentally. My goal now is always to have a mountain in my calendar. One day I will climb Mount Qomolangma (know n as Everest by the West) when I’m ready for it.Summary writing 概要写作Please write a summary of the article in about 60 words.参考范文:I climbed my first mountain six months after I watched the film Everest. Since then, I couldn’t stop climbing. My plan was to climb the highest peak in every European country. When I reach the top of any mountain, I feel incredibly proud. Each climb makes me stronger, both physically and mentally. Now, my goal is to climb Qomolangma..三I’ve noticed that conversations with my children have started to turn into something that I don’t like. It could be my fault. I don’t always think before I open my mouth. For example, my kids would call me to tell me about something that’s been bothering them. Then, as soon as they’re finished, I go into mom mode (模式). I can’t help it. It’s my default setting (默认设置).“You should …”, “You need to consider …”, “Have you thought of …”, “If I were you, I’d …”“Mom!”The tone (语气) is full of frustration and annoyance. The meaning is obvious –“Stop!”I am the queen of unwanted advice. When I get one of my adult kids on the phone, I become an expert on everything and anything, which I’m obviously not.I want to be part of their lives. More importantly, I want to prevent them from making mistakes that seem so obvious to me.But they just want a listening ear and an open heart.I’m hardly alone in this. Over lunch the other day, a friend told me that her son rarely listened to anything she said. “It’s like talking to a wall,” she added.I know that feeling all too well. But I’m learning – very slowly – that talking at is not the same as talking with.Giving advice to children can be full of problems. Though we may see ourselves sharing the wisdom (智慧) of our years, they see something else. They see a controlling parent who hasn’t accepted the fact that they’re adults with their own thoughts and feelings. They’re not looking for any tips or hints (暗示). They may not even want an immediate (立刻的) solution to a difficult proble m. What they’re hoping for is a safe place to talk with a person who loves and supports them no matter what.Because of this, I’ve given myself the goal of becoming a better parent by being a better listener. It’s not an easy task for parents like me who think they’re just being helpful. But I’m determined, I’m strong.Summary writing 概要写作Please write a summary of the article in about 60 words.参考范文:I often give unwanted advice to my kids. After college, I mo ved to California to raise a family. I’ve often come “home” for visits. But this trip, partly for work, was mostly for pleasure.I’ve spent a lot of time with family and friends, and ducks and squirrels (松鼠) and leaves turning red and gold. Some of us feel a physical connection to nature that is as real and comforting as anything we feel for flesh and blood (血肉之躯).That doesn’t mean we like mountains more than people. It just means that we need time with both.I wanted time with family and friends. But I also wanted time alone with these mountains, with red dirt, still water and a full moon. The day after I arrived, my sister and I picked up our brother Jack in Spartanburg, and took him to his favorite restaurant. He is blind, but knows the menu by heart. We ate and talked for an hour, telling stories, old and new. That evening, my nephew’s daughter, who trains horses for a living, and her brother, a high school senior, showed me videos of their horse training competitions and shared their love for riding and training.Last night, my sister and I had dinner with friends and talked about those who are no longer with us. Then I drove back to the lake, wrapped (包裹) myself up in a blanket and sat alone on the ground in the dark, counting the stars reflected in the water and the blessings (幸事) in my life. This morning, I woke in bed to an old familiar sound: rain falling on the roof.I went back to sleep for a while, dreaming dreams I can’t recall (回忆起). Finally, I got up to make coffee and watched the mist (雾) rise off the lake.Tomorrow, I’ll go back to my other home, to my husband and children and grandchildren, to the life I love on the coast of California. But I’ll take with me the gift of the time I’ve spent here with family and f riends and these old blue mountains.Home is a feeling you carry with you in your heart.Summary writing 概要写作Please write a summary of the article in about 60 words.参考范文:I travel back to my hometown a lot although I moved away from it after college. A new year’s resolution is a promise to yourself to get something done – to finish a long-delayed (长时间推迟的) task, start a positive habit or repair a damaged relationship, for example. The new year offers the chance to reinvent oneself, and resolutions make that process more concrete (具体的). They say: “I will change, and this is how I will do it.”So at the beginning of January, gym (健身房) owners can expect their profits to go way up, seemingly out of nowhere, as people crowd around exercise machines trying to keep their weight loss resolutions. Meanwhile, bookstores and libraries see self-help books fly off the shelves after having sat there, untouched, for many months. McDonald’s and KFC – along with many different alcohol, cigarette and video game companies – might lose some money, causing their CEOs to panic. But the sad truth is that humans are usually weak. Several months later, these trends will have already begun to reverse (逆转) themselves. People’s waistlines (腰围) will go back to where they were; their weekly calls with their mothers will stay at once a month; they’ll start smoking aga in. Richard Wiseman, a famous UK psychologist, did a survey in 2008 and found that 52 percent of people who made new year’s resolutions were confident they would stick with them, but only 12 percent really did. Then why bother?Well, new year’s resolutions are, as UK author Samuel Johnson wrote, “a triumph (胜利) of hope over experience.” They’re a way to show what we wish for ourselves. They’re a way to make a note of what we’re not satisfied with ourselves. And, perhaps most importantly, they’re a method of erasing the errors of the past year.As The Huffington Post put it, “new year’s resolutions are all about hopefulness.” More than anything, the new year reminds us that change is constant. If nothing stays the same, then maybe this year’s chang es will be good ones – the kind that last.Summary writing 概要写作 Please write a summary of the article in about 60 words.参考范文:The start of a new year is a time to reflect on the past and start anew. I wouldn’t have minded except it wasn’t mine. The alarm clock rang, and I reached over to turn it off. As I laid my face back down on the pillow, I felt the wet, slimy (黏滑的) drool on my pillow case. I opened my eyes and saw a smiling, panting (喘气的), furry face gazing down at me. I tried to get up, but she was too fast. My face was suddenly covered in kisses with one going straight up my nose and another right in my ear. I laughed, reached out and picked up the eight-pound love machine and held her away from my dripping (湿透的) face. It was just another morning in a life with dogs. Why do we welcome them into our homes and our hearts? We know that we are most likely going to outlive them and have our hearts broken when they age quickly and pass away after ten to fifteen years. We know that there will be vet (兽医) bills, flea baths and enough fur to make a vacuum cleaner cry. We know that our ears will ring from the barking, that we will be picking up poop (大便) every single day and that we will never get to finish a full sandwich again.Yet, when we are feeling down or blue, there will always be a soft head on our lap needing to be pet. When we get home after a long day’s work, there will be a happy face at the doo r waiting for us. Our lives will be full of balls to throw, bellies (腹部) to scratch, and love and loyalty that will warm our hearts and uplift our souls. For thousands of years, dogs have been our best friends. They remain one of the greatest gifts life has ever given us. Even if they can’t love us for the rest of our lives, they will always love us for all of theirs.Summary writing 概要写作Please write a summary of the article in about 60 words.参考范文:Every morning I am woken up by my dog.
