My hometown

Hello everyone ,I am Gao peng.It’s my honor to give a speech here. My topic is A simple introduction of my hometown .

I was born in a beautiful place in Shandong province. This place has a beautiful name Taian . I think this name means peace and prosperity.

My hometown stands near a not wide river at the foot of high green hills. It is famous because of this mountain-Mount Tai . Mount tai is the first of the “five sacred mountains”.It locates in the east of North china Plain and the middle of shandong province . It is prominent around other hills. The prominent peak, Yuhuang peak,is 1514meters high and locates in east 117.6 degree,north 36.16 degree.

Mount Tai , a typical representative of the chinese famous traditional mountains .It is also a mountain with a long history and a special historic status. In 1982, Mount Tai was up into the list of state scenic sports and was formally listed in the directory of world Natural and Cultural Heritage in 1987. It becomes precious heritage of human being.

Finished historical sites, let me introduce my hometown of special snacks. Shandong pancake is a famous snack ,but Taian pancakes more features . It’s other different places ,one the main raw materials used in millet or maize ,millet raw material for the top grade. Second ,former Taian pancake processing more a fermentation process . The third is Taian pancake thin as onion shin ,almost transparent .Pancake tastes slightly sour ,savory and delicious . It at the latest in the Ming Dynasty has become commonplace Taian people. V olume onion pancake is know for a public street alley cuisine.

Although I have been away away from hometown for many years. But no matter where I go, I’ll never forget my hometown ,I’ll love my hometown forever .Welcome you to my home to share the feeling of home.
