My Last Trip

1.I went to Singapore last summer.

Last summer holiday, I went to Singapore with my parents, because they wanted to celebrate my birthday. We went there by plane, because firstly plane is very fast, secondly Singapore is far from Beijing. That was my first time to travel abroad by air; I got some birthday gifts from the air-hostess during the flying time, so I felt very excited. After 6 hours, we arrived there; we went to the hotel we booked before. We lived there for three days and we had a great time there.

2.What we did there.

During those days, we did many things and we visited many places. Firstly we visited a friend of my parents, she teaches in a university. Secondly, we visited museums; we saw many old photos of Singapore and some souvenirs. Then we visited a night zoo, we saw different animals by car because the zoo is very large. Then, we had tasty local food, we took many photos and we bought something we like and some gifts for my grandparents.

3.An unforgettable thing.

When we were in Singapore, we were very lucky because we enjoyed the grand show for their National Day. There were many people on the streets, and we saw many helicopters and planes in the sky, ships in the river. At night, we saw beautiful fireworks in the sky. Those fireworks were the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. At last, we went back to hotel with happiness.

(Dear examiner, what are you going to do during the National Day this year?)

4.I’m going to go there again.

On the way back, my parents were very happy. But to tell you the truth, I was not, because I wanted to play longer. Although my parents were very tired, I was not, because that trip was very unforgettable. After that trip, I shared those photos with my friends and grandparents. If I have enough free time in the coming summer holiday, I’m going to go there again.
