If the trade fair is too specialist or too broad, it’s unlikely to attract visitors who want to buy what you sell, and participating in trade fairs can be a waste of time. So, you see, when you attend a trade fair, you should make sure you know what kind of customers you want to reach and what you want to achieve. John: Anything else I should know? Mr. Robbins: One more thing. You should make specific and measurable goals. If you choose your fair carefully and give yourself plenty of time to plan your goals, you’ll have a good chance of doing good business. John: Good. You really are a specialist. Thank you. 商务英语听说课是一门考试课,组织学生进行随堂 考试,采用百分制的计分方式,分数的判定分为四 部分:
1.出勤及平日表现成绩占30%。主要包括学生的出勤率、课后作业的完成。 2.听力成绩占25%。包括最终听力成绩。 3.期末口语测试占45%。这部分包括四个等级,0-15分的学生,态度不够 端正,发音较差,不能独立完成对话,英语口语停留在初学者的层次; 15-25分的学生,发音存在错音、漏音,语调较好,对话完整性较差,熟练 程度不高;25-35分的学生,语音面貌较好,能够正确的掌握发音技巧, 话题所采用的语言表达更加的规范和准确,熟练程度高;35-45分的学生, 语言表达流畅、地道,发音准确,准备充分,主题更加突出、鲜明,并在 对话中加入自己的观点和相关话题的英语表达。 4.期末英语听说成绩=考勤成绩30%+听力成绩25%+期末口语测试45%。

• 听力水平和口语表达:听懂日常交际对话; 进行自我表达和自主交流,但仍有少数同学 语音面貌差,羞于开口。
• 学习自主性:多数学生学习英语的积极性高, 但课后自学意识不高,欠缺自学能力。
• 新知识的接受:缺乏实践经验,不易领会并 迅速融入商务情境对话。
解决重难点方面出现的问题:
• (1)听力方面:在课堂上进行限时限量的听力强化训 练并结合日常的听力小测试;课后给学生提供相关的 听力资料,让学生课后进行自主学习和训练。
• (2)商务知识方面:设置相关的思考问题并辅助大量 的商务背景和礼仪知识方面的材料;通过视频片断的 观看,让学生能够融入到具体的商务情境对话中,并 达到听说二者相结合的训练效果。

3.课程的教学进度的安排
• 商务英语听说,安排在第三学年第五学期开设, 总学时为18,每周进行2学时的学习。
• 4.情境教学法。创设情境对话,分组练习,强化训练,进 行角色表演。
• 5.交际教学法。在课堂上,通过课堂提问、对话的检查, 与学生进行的交流的教学过程;同时学生与学生之间的分 组对话练习,角色表演都属于交际教学法的具体体现。

理论与实践教学的主要内容

商务英语视说教程是我院经济管理系、文秘专业开设的一门公共基础必 修课,其教学安排在第三学年第五学期进行讲授。
本教程以 “应用为先,能力为本”为指导思想,按照高职高专商务英语 教学大纲和BEC初、中级的要求,结合我院培养外语实用技能的人才培养目 标的要求,贯穿英语听说技能在商务活动中的实际应用的基本理念,以培 养复合型英语应用人才为出发点,提高听力技巧和口语交际能力;帮助学 生取得国际商务英语中级资格证书和具备相关的英语从业资格。
