Brief Analysis of Love in The Little Prince

Abstract

The Little Prince is famous children’s short stories of French, which was written by writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, in1942. The hero of this book is a little prince, who comes from other planets. The story’s teller was a pilot, who told about the little prin ce’s kinds of adventures, during he set out from his own planet to the Earth. This book is not only a fairy tale, but also a novel for young and old. There are deceit and dishonesty in adult’s life, the sincere friendship between the pilot and the little p rince and the pure love between the little prince, the rose and the fox. The little prince had affection for the rose, who did not understand how to love others. But the fox loved the pure little prince. While the Second World War broke out, people were in deep distress and had no time for loving. Therefore, the views of love in this book are different forms the Frenchmen’s view of love at that time. And there are similarities and differences in all of the four views of love, as well as, the causes of these views of love are diverse from each other. This is the question, that author will analyze in the following paper.

摘要

《小王子》是作家安东尼·德·圣·埃克苏佩里于1942年写成的著名法国儿童文学短篇小说。本书的主人公是来自外星球的小王子。书中以一位飞行员作为故事叙述者，讲述了小王子从自己星球出发前往地球的过程中，所经历的各种历险。这本书不仅是一部童话，更是一部老少皆宜的小说。其中有成人世界的尔虞我诈，也有小王子和飞行员真挚的友谊，更有小王子与玫瑰，狐狸的纯洁爱情。小王子深爱着不懂得如何去爱的玫瑰，狐狸却爱着纯洁的小王子。而当时正值第二次世界大战，人们处在水深火热之中，也无暇顾及爱情。因此，书中的爱情观
