数词
●基数词的构成与用法
1)基数词的表示方式
◎20以上的两位数表示方法
在十位和个位之间加上连字符
e.g. 35 ____________________ ; 58 ____________________ ; 99 ____________________
◎三位数表示法
...hundred and + 两位数
e.g. 417 ____________________ ; 669 ____________________
◎四位及以上的基数词拼写规律
用阿拉伯数字书写时，从右向左，每三位点一个逗号或空一个空格
e.g. 6, 241, 985, 472 ________________________________________
2)表示具体数字与非具体数字
◎具体数字: hundred, thousand, million, billion后不加-s, 不加of
e.g. two hundred, seven thousand, eight million
◎非具体数字: hundred, thousand, million, billion后加-s, 加of
e.g. hundreds of(数百), thousands of(数千)
3)about, more than, over, less than 后必须跟具体数字
e.g. about five hundred and twenty-two, more than two billion yuan
4)表示次数或倍数关系
一次: once
两次/倍: twice
三次/倍及以上: 基数词+times
e.g. four times, ninety-two times

◎ 序数词前加the 表示“第几”
e.g. He was the first to enter the classroom.
◎ 序数词前加a/an 表示“又一，再一” e.g. Now tell me why you took a second pen.
◎ 序数词前加所有格时，不再加冠词
e.g. We are celebrating his twentieth birthday.

●日期表达法
在10月10日：
On October 10 读作on October (the) tenth

●年份表达法
月份和年份前要用介词in表示
在1975年：
in 1975 读作in nineteen seventy-five
在2005年：
in 2005 读作in two thousand and five
在2009年3月：
in March, 2009 读作in March, two thousand and nine
●分数、小数、百分比表达法
1）分数的构成
分子用基数词，分母用序数词，分子分母间用连字符。

分子大于一，序数词用复数形式。

◎1/4 ____________________
1/12 ____________________
2/3 ____________________
4/19 ____________________
◎特殊用法：
1/2 a/one half
1/4 a/one quarter
3/4 three quarters
◎分子分母数值较大，如55/88，可读作：fifty over eighty-eight
2）小数和百分比
0.37 读作zero point three seven
58% 读作fifty-eight percent
3）基本数学运算表达
A: How much is 8 plus 9?
B: 8 plus 9 is/equals 17. (8+9=17)
18-3=15 18 minus 3 is/equals 15.
6×5=30 6 multiplied by 5 is/equals 30.
15÷5=3 15 divided by 5 is/equals 3.
★注意
◎编号可以用序数词也可以用基数词，数字较大一般用基数词
