In order to seize the attention and arouse the interest of many viewers or audiences, the news media are likely to circulate more negative news concerning some violence, criminal cases and disasters, thereby disseminating some adverse values to people’s life.

It is of course true that the news media are not to be blamed in every perspective. In some ways, news media can bring more fairness and justice to public’s life because they can help to expose some immoral or illegal dirty tricks to the supervision of the whole society.
