The Sleeping Beauty
Long,long ago,there lived a king and a queen,who owned wide forests,great gardens,and beautiful palaces. Still they were not altogether happy,for they had no children.
But at last on a bright spring morning, a daughter was born to them. Then great was the joy in the whole kingdom, flags were waving , bells were ringing, and the king decided to hold a party and to invited all the good people to come. To the party they also invited six good fairies, for you must know there lived seven in all, but the one who was dark and evil was not invited.
The day for the party came with blue skies and merry songs. Rich and wonderful gifts were brought, gift of silver and gold ,diamonds,silk and necklaces. But the gifts of the fairies were the best.
The fairies dacned in. all the guests around the king‟s daughter held their breath to see their beauty and loveliness. One fairy stepped forward and whispered, “My gift to you is this, you shall become the most beautiful woman in all the kingdom.” ”And ,”added the second fairy,”you shall become as kind and good as you will be beautiful.” The third fairy said,”I give you the gift of wisdom.” “And I,”said the fourth,”the gift of love ,You shall love and be loved .‟The fifth fairy whispered”. Mine is the gift of song and laughter.”
Then before any one knew what had happened,the dark and evil fairy pushed others aside and stood deside the king‟s daughter. “Why was I not invited to the party?Ah ,I shall show no mercy to yoi .My tift is this ,all mysisters‟wishes sha ll come true; but when you are sixteen ,you shall hurt your finger on a spindle and die .”The king and queen cried and the quests all wept.
Then the sixth good fairy stepped forward. She smiled lovingly on all.”Don‟t fear ,”she said .”I can change it .Our king‟s daughter shall not die ,but sleep---sleep until in due time a king …s son shall come .And with his kiss she shall de awake .”This comforted the people of all ranks .”She shall not die ,”they repeated. The king then raised his hand ,and all were sile nt .”I command ,”he cried ,”that all spindles in my kingdom be burned !”Gladly the people obeyed and now they all thought the little girl would be safe from harm .Then began the happy life of the king …s daughter.
Onher sixteenth birthday,the king …s daugh ter felt tired of her palace .She wandered alone into the dark woods ,And in a very lonely spot she saw a castle among the bushes. She climbed the winding stairs into the tower, and pushed the door open, then sshe saw an old blind woman turning a stick around between her hands and long white cotton thread,soft and smooth, running thrugh her fingers.
The king …s daughter begged the old woman to allow her to have a try.As soon as she got hold of the spindle, she hurt her finger, All at once she fell asleep, and at that very moment all else slept. The lovely birds stopped singing, the green leaves dropped off the trees, and the fresh flowers dried. The king ,queen and all the chief officials slept where they sat or stood .ln the kitchen the cook was just going to box the ear of the kitchen boy when all fell asleep .Everything slept-----slept for a hundred years .
At last a king‟s son came riding thruogh the land.When he was told the tale,he lifted his golden sword andtushed bravely into the tower room.There he found her, the sleeping
beauty,lying as beautiful as when she fell asleep one hundted years ago.Then he leaned over her and kissed her.She opened her eyes and looked at him.”Ah,my dear ,”she
cried ,”you habe come at last.I have waited for you – oh ,so long!”
The very moment the king’s daughter awoke,the birds began to sing,the flowers opened,the leaves turned green –everything awoke.The cook boxed the kitchen boy,the king,queen,and the high rank officials went about their affairs.Suddenly,the king’s daughte r with a young man stood before them – and they remembered all.They had slept – slept ahundred years –and the sleep was over now.”yes,she is yours,”declared the king ,and he placed the hand of his daughter in the hand of the young man.Then,with the cheers of the kingdom,the two,hand in hand,walked into a new world – a world of songs and flowers,of sunshine and love.

妈妈：Goodbye,kids!build your own house,but be careful of the wolf. 三只小猪：goodbye,mum.
旁白：three pigs leaved their mother.after a while they met a man with a bundle of straw.
Pig one: “Please, grandpa, g ive me that straw to build me a house." 稻草爷爷：the house will be beautiful,but it easy to be broken down by wind.
Pig one:never mind.only for live.
稻草爷爷：it’s ok.here you are.
旁白：Which the man did, and the little pig built a house with it.then he went into his house,said happily.
Pig one:haha!now the wolf can’t catch me and eat me.
旁白：pig one falled asleep in his house.then pig two met a man with a bundle of sticks.
Pig two: "Please, man, give me that sticks to build a house."
旁白： Which the man did, and the pig built his house.pig three knew the house is not strong，but it is easy to do.so he lived in the house.pig three keep going.The third little pig met a man with a load of bricks. Pig three:"Please, man, give me those bricks to build a house with." 旁白：So the man gave him the bricks, and he built his beautiful house with them.
Pig three:ok!my house is so hard.i mustn’t scare of the wolf.
旁白：Presently came along a wolf, he knocked at the pigone’s door.狼： "Little pig, little pig, let me come in."
pigone answered: "No, no, go away."
The wolf: "Then I"ll huff, and I"ll puff, and I"ll blow your house in." 旁白：So he huffed, and he puffed, and he blew his house in。

pig one is scared,fortunetely he run away to the pig two’s house.
Pig one:I’m regretful that I didn’t listen to the grandpa.
旁白：Then along came the wolf。

He is shouting.
Wolf: "Little pig, little pig, let me come in."
Pig one and two:"No, no, go away."
Wolf:"it’s very easy.sticks is not strong.Then I"ll puff, and I"ll huff, and I"ll blow your house in."
旁白：So he huffed, and he puffed, and he puffed, and he huffed, and at last he blew the house down, luckily the little two pigs run away to pig three’s house.they are scared,but pig three seemed not to be afraid.旁白：the wolf came, as he did to the other little pigs。

Wolf:Little pig, little pig, open the door."
Threepigs:"No, no, you are the wolf.go away"
Wolf:"Then I"ll huff, and I"ll puff, and I"ll blow your house in."
旁白：Well, he huffed, and he puffed, and he huffed and he puffed, and he puffed and huffed; but he could not get the house down. When he found that he could not, with all his huffing and puffing, blow the house down。

Wolf: "Little pig, I know where there is a nice field of turnips." Three pigs:"Where?"
Wolf:"Oh, in Mr. Smith"s home field, and if you will be ready tomorrow morning I will call for you, and we will go together and get some for dinner."
Three pigs:"Very well,I will be ready. What time do you mean to go?" Wolf:"Oh, at six o"clock."
旁白：Well, the little pig got up at five, and got the turnips before the wolf came。

At 6 o’clock,the wolf came.
Wolf: "Little pig, are you ready?"
The little pig said, "Ready! I have been and come back again, and got a nice potful for dinner."
旁白：Then the wolf was very angry indeed, and declared he would eat up the little pig。

Wolf:you three little pigs. I wanna eat you.i will get down your chimney,and eat you.
旁白：When the little pigs saw what he was about, they hung on the pot full of water, and made up a blazing fire, and, just as the wolf was coming down, took off the cover, and in fell the wolf; so the little pig put on the cover again in an instant. The wolf died, they lived happily ever afterwards.

Mum：（亲切地看着Little Red Riding Hood说） Be good. Be careful. Little Red Riding Hood： Yes ,mummy．Goodbye, mummy.
Mum： Bye-bye. Darling.
第二场：在路上
(一阵轻快的音乐由远而近，Little Red Riding Hood挎着篮子蹦跳跳地跳到花
草旁)
Little Red Riding Hood： Wow！Flowers, how beautiful! （放下篮子采花）One flower ,two flowers, three flowers.
Wolf：（随着一阵低沉的音乐，Wolf大步地走上台）I am wolf. I am hungry. (做找东西状,东张西望) Here is a little red riding hood. Hi! Little Red Riding Hood. Where are you going? (做狡猾的样子和Little Red Riding Hood
打招呼)
Little Red Riding Hood：(手摸辫子，天真地回答)To Grandma’s．Grandma is ill.
Wolf：（自言自语）I' ll eat Grandma. But……（对Little Red Riding Hood 说）Hey, look! 6 little baby ducks.
Little Red Riding Hood：(和6只鸭子随着音乐翩翩起舞)
Wolf：（悄悄地藏到大树后）
Little Red Riding Hood：（停止跳舞）Hello! Baby ducks，how are you? Six Ducks：We’ re fine．Thank you． Where are you going?

第三场：Grandma家
Grandma：（喘着气出场，颤颤悠悠地走到床前，吃力地坐到床边，喘了几口，打几个哈欠，慢吞吞地躺倒在床上。

Wolf：（从树后出来，边走边说）I am very hungry now. (做找寻的样子)Where
is Grandma’ s house? (高兴地对观众说)Aha , it’s here.(敲门)Bang, Bang, Bang．
Grandma： Who is it？
Wolf：（装出Little Red Riding Hood的声音，一边得意地摇动尾巴，一边说）It’s me. Little Red Riding Hood.
Grandma： (边说边起床) Come in, come in.
Wolf：(得意洋洋地走到床边) Grandma , I’ll eat you.
Grandma：（惊慌失措地抓紧衣服，瞪着眼睛，边叫迫从床上滚到地上）
灰狼把外婆吞到了肚子里。

Wolf：（得意地拍拍肚子，翘起大拇指）Yummy！I’ll sleep.
Little Red Riding Hood：(高兴地敲门)Grandma．Grandma．
Wolf：(装扮成Grandma的声音) Who is it？
Little Red Riding Hood：It’s me。

Little Red Riding Hood. What a strange noise!
Wolf：Come in， Come in.
Little Red Riding Hood：(蹦跳着进来，把篮子放在桌子上，走到床前一看，跳回几步)Oh! What are big ears!
Wolf：I can listen to your sweet voice.
Little Red Riding Hood：Wow! What a big eyes!
Wolf：I can see you pretty face.
Little Red Riding Hood：Oh! What a big hand.
Wolf：I can hug you.
Little Red Riding Hood：（跪在床前，拉起Wolf的手，边摸边说）Look! What a big hands?
Wolf：(从床上跳起来说)I can eat you!

Hunter： (一边拿着枪，一边做寻找状出场)Where’s the wolf? Look! A door．(推门)The wolf is sleeping.
Wolf：(发出呼呼的响声)
Hunter： (端起枪想打，又放下)What a big stomach! (摸摸Wolf的肚子)Grandma and Little Red Riding Hood are inside .I must be hurry．(从桌子上拿起剪刀，举起) Look! Scissors. (做剪Wolf的肚子)Cut, cut, cut.
Little Red Riding Hood/Grandma：Thank you．
Hunter： Grandma ,give me some needles and thread． Little Riding Hood ,Give me some stones．
Grandma： (从桌子上拿来针线)
Little Red Riding Hood：(搬来几个石头)One, two, three.
Hunter： (把小石头装进Wolf的衣服里)
Grandma： I'll thread it.
Hunter： (拿起枪)Woke up!
Wolf：(起床，两手托着大肚子)My stomach is so heavy.
Hunter： You big bad wolf, raise your arms!
Wolf：(边跑边说) Help! Don’t shot me!
Hunter：（开枪）Bang, bang!
Wolf： (应声倒下)
Hunter： The bad wolf is dead．
Little Red Riding Hood和Grandma：Yeah! Thank you．
Little Red Riding Hood、Grandma、Hunter（一起鞠躬）: Thank you。
