外企如此看求职信

惠普:

附求职信没有必要

中国惠普有限公司人力资源总监说,附求职信没有必要,我不知道求职信意味什么。我们也看到过一些求职信,里面有一些豪言壮语,一些很浪漫的话或表决心的话,什么给我一个支点,我将撬起地球,让我们风雨同舟,给我一个机会,我会还你一个惊喜。我觉得应聘者应该对症下药,如果你去的是一个广告公司,你比较有创意,文字比较华丽,可能会有一些帮助。而我们这儿是搞工程的,没有必要搞这些东西。

富士通:

有没有求职信没关系

富士通认为不附求职信没有什么关系。因为富士通看的是应聘者的条件符不符合职位的要求,如果求职者愿意写也没有关系,但公司并不会因为有无求职信而左右对应聘者的判断。

求职信作用不大

历前面用很短的文字吸引招聘者的注意。但是,近几年来我看到的从

美国校园来的简历好像都没有附求职信。一般都是一个eail,然后写上几句话,附上一份自己的简历,仅此而已。

does our homeork before ou go to an intervie? hether

it’***eing the vp of marketing or the mailroom lerk, ou should kno about the pan or business ou’re going to ork for. has this pan been in the nes latel? ho are the people in the pan ou should kno about? does the bakground ork, it ill make ou stand out as someone ho es prepared, and is genuinel interested in the pan and the job.

this should be diretl related to the last question. an researh ou’ve done on the pan should have led ou to the onlusion that ou’d ant to ork there. after all, ou’re at the intervie, right? put some thought into this anser before ou have our intervie, mention our areer goals and highlight forard-thinking goals and areer plans.

hopefull if ou’re appling for t his position ou have bags of related experiene, and if that’s the ase ou should mention it all. but if ou’re sithing areers or tring something a little different, our experiene ma initiall not

look like it’s mathing up. that’s hen ou need a little honest reativit to math the experienes required ith the ones ou have. people skills are people skills after all, ou just need to sho ho ustomer servie skills an appl to internal management positions, and so on.

ok, this is not the time for full dislosure. if some people from our past are going to sa ou’re a boring a-hole, ou don’t need to bring that up. sta positive, alas, and mabe have a fe speifi es in mind. “the’d sa i as a hard orker” or even bette r “john doe has alas said i as the most reliable, reative problem-solver he’d ever met.”

6. have ou done anthing to further our experiene?

this ould inlude anthing from night lasses to hobbies and sports. if it’s related, it’s orth mentioning. obviousl

ant hing to do ith further eduation is great, but mabe ou’re spending time on a home improvement projet to ork on skills suh as self-suffiien, time management and motivation.

this is a good a to hint that ou’re in demand, ithout

s ounding like ou’re horing ourself all over ton. so, be honest and mention a fe other panies but don’t go into
