五、Teaching procedures:
Step 1 Greeting
T: Good morning ,boys and girls.(with a smile)
Ss :Good morning.teacher.
Step 2 Leading
1.Let the students listen to a piece of nice music: Rules Rules Rules
2.Show our school rules (Wudu middle school rules)
Step 3 Presentation
1.Learn new words by presenting pictures:hallways dining hall listen to music arrive fight sorry
2.Media show the students some pictures about school rules. Leading them to learn rules.
T:What rules are they breaking?
Ss: Arrive late for school.(Help them answer the rule and learn the rule)
T:Can we arrive late for school?
Ss:No, we cant’t.
T;Don’t arrive late for school.We must’t be on time.
3.Then learn other rules in the same way:Don’t run in the hallways.
Don’t eat in class.Don’t listen to music in the classroom.Don’t fight.
Step 4 Practice
1.Learn school rules together.
2.Do 1a :Write the number of the rule next to the student.
3.Listen to the tape and do 1b
Step 5 Pair work
1.Do 1c in pairs
Student1 What are the rules?
Student2 We can’t arrive late for school;We must be on time.
2.Ask the students to practice the dialogues by showing them the pictures. Step 6 Listening

Step 7 Pair work
Talk about the rules according the answers of 2b.
S1 Can we listen to music?
S2 We can’t listen to music in the classroom.but we can listen to it in the musicroom. Step 8 Group work
Let the students learn to make the rules.(Provide a passage of Qiqi.and help her make family rules.
Divide them into groups of four.Ask them to make rules and present their rules to see which group is the best.
Step 9 Summary
1.Make a summary about the rules : learn the rules and make the rules
2.Ask the student to do an exercise in class:Translate our school rules in English. Homework
