Step 2 Review1.复习基数词one至twelve。

(1)根据歌曲,教师出示基数词one至twelve的单词卡片,请学生读一读、拼一拼。

(2)游戏——排排坐。

游戏规则:教师随机出示数字单词卡片,一闪而过,哪位学生最快说出该单词并拼读正确,教师就将该卡片给这位学生,以此类推,直至12张卡片全部发至学生手中。

请拿到卡片的12位学生上台,将卡片按one至twelve的顺序贴在黑板上。

2.复习序数词first至fourth,教学序数词fifth至twelfth。

(1)用同样的方法复习序数词first至fourth,然后请四位学生上台,将四个序数词写在相应的基数词旁,如:first second third fourth(2)教师在剩余的基数词旁贴出相应的序数词的单词卡片,让学生观察两组单词在音、形和义上的不同,并找出序数词的构成规律。

(3)告诉学生,数词有两种:基数词和序数词。

表达数目多少的数词叫基数词,表达顺序先后的数词叫序数词。

Unit 1 Winter Vacation教材分析:本单元的话题是寒假生活和春节,语法主要内容是一般过去时和专有名词、冠词的用法,语音部分复习总结字母a在开音节、闭音节以及a在ss前的发音。

学情分析:1、本套教材从五年级下册开始学习一般过去时,本单元的课文首次出现过去时。

一般过去时表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态,常和表示过去的时间状语连用,如:last year,yesterday等;也可表示过去经常反复发生的动作,常和often,always 等频率副词连用。

2、动词过去式的构成:(1)规则动词过去式的构成有四条规则:①一般在动词原形末尾直接加上-ed。

如:look—looked,visit—visited,watch —watched。

②以不发音的字母e结尾的动词,只需加-d。

如:live—lived。

③末尾只有一个辅音字母的重读闭音节,先双写这个辅音字母,再加ed。

如:stop —stopped。

④末尾是“辅音字母+y”结尾的动词,先改y为i,然后再加-ed。

如:study—studied。

(2)不规则动词的过去式需要记忆。

如:am/is—was,are—were,go—went,come —came,take—took,have(has)—had等。

Step 3 Presentation(一)学习单词Australia和China1.教师出示Peter的图片并贴在黑板上,然后提出问题:“Who is he? Where is he from?”根据学生的回答,在图片旁板书Peter和Australia,巩固单词Australia。

2.教师出示Lily的图片,提出相同的问题:“Who is she? Where is she from?”根据学生的回答,在图片旁板书Lily和China,教学单词China。

(1)出示单词卡片China,教学该单词。

(2)出示下列句子,请学生读一读,从句子中感悟China与Chinese的区别。

I’m from China.I’m a Chinese girl.This is a Chinese book.I live in China.…(二)根据课文情景,学习如何讲述过去发生的事情1.教师指着Peter和Lily的图片说:“Peter and Lily are talking about winter vacation.What are they talking about? Please listen and watch.”2.教师播放课文录音或CD-ROM,学生边听边看。

3.教学如何讲述过去发生的事情。

(1)教师在黑板上寒假时间的上方板书:How was your winter vacation? 出示was 的单词卡片,告诉学生该单词是am和is的过去式,动词的过去式是描述过去发生的事情时使用的。

(2)请学生看黑板上的线段图,帮助学生理解何为过去发生的事情。

然后教学was 和were。

(3)教师提问:“How was Peter's winter vacation?”请学生自读课文找出答案,教师根据学生的回答把答案写在黑板上寒假时间的下方。

4.区别一般过去时与一般将来时。

(1)教师指着黑板上的线段图说:“寒假已经过去了,所以我们讲述寒假里发生的事情要用过去时,而暑假在七月和八月,还没到,如果我们要计划暑假的生活该怎么说?”请个别学生谈谈暑假的计划,教师在词组前加上will。

(2)教师领读下列两组句子,并教学went,visited,watched等。

I went to Australia.I will go to Australia.I visited the Great Wall.I will visit the Great Wall.I watched TV.I will watch TV.…(简单教学do与did,I did my homework.和 I will do my homework.)(三)详读课文对话1.教师播放课文录音或CD-ROM,学生模仿跟读。

2.学习句子:It was wonderful.3.学习句子:Were you in China? No,I wasn’t.(1)学习在一般过去时中,be动词的一般疑问句形式。

(2)出示一些句子,请学生读一读,如:Were they in the supermarket?Yes,they were./ No,they weren’t.Was he in Beijing? Yes,he was./ No,he wasn’t.4.学习句子:How was the weather there? It was hot.It was summer there.(1)请学生读一读句子。

(2)教师提出问题:“It was hot.It was summer there.Why?”学生根据已有的知识来说一说。

教师总结:“因为南半球和北半球的缘故,一月和二月中国是冬天,而澳大利亚是夏天。

”5.教师再播放课文录音或CD-ROM二至三次,学生模仿跟读。

6.请学生分角色读对话。

(四)巩固活动1.学习课本第3页的Ask and answer.部分。

(1)教师播放录音,学生模仿跟读。

(2)同桌根据图片内容练习对话。

(3)请几位学生展示对话。

2.学习课本第7页的韵律诗:How Was Your Vacation?(1)教师领读,学习韵律诗中的句子。

(2)请一两位学生读一读。

(3)教师播放录音,学生跟读。

(五)语音教学1.教师出示单词skate和lake,请学生读一读,然后说出单词中字母a的发音/eI/ 。

2.教师再出示单词bag,math和grass,glasses,请学生读一读,然后说出单词中a 的发音和/ɑ:/。

3.教师播放课本第3页的Listen and learn the English sounds.部分的录音,学生模仿跟读,记住字母a的三种发音/eI和/ɑ:/Step 4 Extension综合活动:我的寒假生活1.请学生在纸上写出自己寒假中所做的二至三件事情,不会写的可以请教同学和老师。

2.全班同学说问句How was your winter vacation? 数遍,直至教师将一朵花放在学生A的桌子上,全班学生一起提问:“How was your winter vacation,A?”学生A根据自己所写的内容回答问题。

Step 5 Homework1.听课文录音,并模仿跟读。

2.背诵所学的动词原形以及其过去式形式。

3.完成《活动手册》中本课的练习。

4.上网查询有关宝岛台湾的名胜风景区。
