The Spring Festival is the most important traditional holiday in China . Days before the festival , people clean their house . They think cleaning sweeps and bad luck . On the eve of the festival , family members get together and have big meals . Then they watch the Spring Festival Gala on TV . At the midnight , they set off fireworks to welcome the New Year . During the festival , kids get lucky money from old people . People visit their relatives and friends . They wish each a happy year and good luck . How happy we are !

How I’ve Changed

My life has changed a lot in the last few years . It is getting better and better . When I was a little child , I used to play with my friends all day . We found that almost anything could bring fun to us . But now nearly all my time is spent on study and homework . Now , I am interested in reading and writing . I think that the more good books I read , the more knowledge I get .

The biggest change in my life was that I begin to love sports at the age of ten . Now I’m really interested in sports and I’m much healthier .

My lucky day

I will always remember the date March 28 . This was the luckiest day of my life. When I woke up that morning , the sky was very dark . I took the early bus to school as usual . As soon as I arrived at school , It started to rain heavily. Later , I realized that I had forgotten my wallet and couldn’t buy lunch . I couldn’t believe it . Then my friend Lisa said that she could share her lunch with me . I was so happy .
