Spring Festival is the biggest festival in China. It is also my favourite festival, because I can get lucky money( hongbao ). Look, my mother is cleaning the house and putting things away. My father is putting up Chinese couplets with my grandpa. My grandma is making lanters and paper cuts. My aunt and my uncle are going shopping to buy lots of delicious food. My cousions and I are setting off fircrackers( 放鞭炮) . We like playing it, but it is too dangerous. We feel so happy at Spring Festival. And we hope we have good luck this year.

Spring Festival is the most important festival in China. My family usually do lots of things at Spring Festival. First, my mother always cleans the house and puts things away. My father is very busy, so he is still at work. My grandma often makes lanters and paper cuts. My aunt cooks the meal. My uncle goes shopping with his daughter. I have a hair cut with my grandpa. Next, we have a big dinner and watch special programme( Spring Festival gala) at eight o’clock in the evening. And we also eat dumpings together. After that, We are so happy to visit lots of aunts and uncles. Because we children often get lucky money. It means good luck. • It’s a happy day and I like it very much
