确认房间是否有服务的英语作文100字

确认房间是否有服务的英语作文100字

确认房间是否有服务的英语作文100字全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1I was so excited when my family told me we were going on vacation! We were going to stay at this really cool hotel near the beach. My mom said it was going to be really fun and relaxing. But I was a little worried too. What if the hotel room didn't have everything we needed? You see, I had been on vacation before where the room was missing important things. One time, we got to the hotel and the room didn't even have a TV! Can you believe that? How is a kid supposed to watch cartoons in the morning without a TV? Another time, the room didn't have a microwave, so we couldn't make popcorn or heat up leftovers. And the worst time was when the room didn't have WiFi! My tablet wouldn't connect to the internet at all. I was so bored without being able to watch videos or play games online. So this time, before we left for our trip, I made a checklist of all the things I absolutely needed the hotel room to have. At the top of the list was a TV - a big one! I love watching movies on ahuge screen. Next, I wrote down microwave because what's a vacation without microwavable macaroni and cheese? WiFi was an absolute must too. How else could I watch YouTube kids or play Roblox?I also wanted the room to have a little fridge, so we could keep drinks and snacks cold. A coffee maker was important too, because my parents are crazy without their morning coffee. And I couldn't forget about the hair dryer! My mom takes forever getting ready if we don't have a hair dryer in the room.Once I had my checklist ready, I decided I would call the hotel before we went on our trip to make sure they had all those amenities. I found the hotel's number on their website and dialed it on my mom's cell phone. A friendly lady answered and I explained that I needed to confirm a few things about the rooms."Hi, I'm going to be staying at your hotel next week with my family. I just wanted to make sure the room will have a TV, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer, and WiFi. Can you confirm that for me please?" I said, trying to sound very grown-up and important. The lady laughed a little bit and said "Why yes young man, all of our rooms come fully equipped with those amenities. You'll have everything you need for a fun and comfortable stay!"I was so relieved to hear that. Now I could relax and get really excited for our vacation, knowing the room would have service and all the amenities I needed. I couldn't wait to get to the hotel, order a pizza from room service, and watch movies on the big TV all night. This was going to be the best vacation ever!篇2When my family went on vacation last summer, we stayed at a big hotel. I was so excited! But when we got to our room, I noticed that there was no TV. Oh no! How would I watch my favorite cartoons?I asked my dad, "Dad, does our room have a TV?" He said he would go check with the front desk. He came back and said, "They're going to send someone up to take a look and make sure we have everything we need."A few minutes later, a nice lady from the hotel knocked on our door. "Hello, I understand you're missing a TV in this room?" my dad said. The lady looked around and saw that the TV was missing. "You're absolutely right, sir. I'm so sorry about this. Let me get a TV brought up right away."She left and I was worried we wouldn't get a TV after all. But then two guys from the hotel came rolling in a big TV on a stand! They plugged it in and made sure all the channels were working. "There you go," one of them said. "Let us know if you need anything else."I was so relieved and happy. I could watch cartoons again! From then on, I made sure to always check if our room had everything we needed. Sometimes things go wrong, but hotels are really good at fixing problems quickly. I love staying in hotels now!篇3Do You Have That Thing I Need? One time, my family and I went on a big trip to another country. We stayed at this huge hotel that had like a million rooms! My mom and dad said we had a "suite" which I think means our room was really big and fancy. When we first got to the hotel, my little brother Timmy was really hungry so we wanted to see if our room had a microwave to heat up some leftovers. My dad told me I should call the front desk and ask. I was a little nervous because I don't speak the language of that country very well. But the lady who answered spoke pretty good English.I said "Hello, this is Tommy from room 728. Do you havea...umm..." I couldn't remember the word for microwave! So I tried to describe it. "Do you have that box thing that you put food into and it heats it up?"The lady on the phone didn't understand at first. She asked "A refrigerator?" No, not a refrigerator! Those make things cold.I tried again "No, it's a box that you put food into and it makes it hot really fast ing radio ways?"Finally the nice lady figured out what I meant. "Oh! A microwave oven! Yes, your suite does have a microwave."Phew! I was so relieved she understood me. Timmy would get to eat his lukewarm leftovers after all.The next day, we wanted to watch a movie together as a family. Nice hotels usually have movies you can rent right from your TV. But how could we check if our room had that? This time my mom called the front desk. She said "Hi, this is Room 728 again. We were wondering if your room entertainment system has a selection of pay-per-view movies we can order?"The front desk person replied "Why yes ma'am, we have a large library of recent releases you can rent right on your TV.""Fantastic!" my mom said. "And one more thing - do your room TVs have the ability to stream shows and movies from apps like Netflix or Hulu?""I'm afraid not," the front desk worker responded. "Our TVs don't have those streaming capabilities. But we do offer complimentary high-speed WiFi if you'd like to watch on your own devices."That worked for us! We had our laptops and could just log into Netflix that way. It was going to be a fun family movie night. On our last day, my dad needed to get a bit of work done before we left. He wanted to know if the hotel had a business center with computers, printers and stuff. He called down and asked "Hello, yes I'm a guest staying in the Royal Suite 728. Could you tell me if your hotel has a business center that I could use? With desktop computers, printing, that type of thing?""Why certainly sir," the front desk staff member responded. "Our fully-equipped business center is located on the lobby level next to the fitness room. It's open 24 hours for all guests.""Wonderful, thank you!" said my dad. He was able to go down and get his work done before we checked out.I learned on that trip that anytime you need to know if your hotel room has a certain service or amenity, you should just call down to the front desk and ask! Whether it's a microwave, movies, high-speed internet or a business center, the staff will let you know if your room is equipped with what you need. Don't be afraid to describe what you're looking for if you don't know the exact word. As long as you're polite, they'll do their best to understand and give you the right information. That's what hotels are for - making sure you have an enjoyable and convenient stay!篇4Hello there! My name is Timmy and I'm going to tell you all about the super fun adventure I had when my family went on vacation last summer. We stayed at this really cool hotel and I got to practice my English by asking the staff if our room had certain services. It was so exciting! We pulled up to the hotel and it was huge! Like, bigger than my school kind of huge. The buildings were tall and there were pretty gardens and fountains everywhere. My little sister Sarah was jumping up and down because she was so eager to go swimming in the pool. "Calm down," my mom said with a laugh. "We have to check in first."The lobby was just as big and fancy as the outside of the hotel. There were comfy couches to sit on, and a big crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling. It looked like something you'd see in a castle! My dad went up to the front desk to get our room key while my mom tried to corral me and Sarah."Timmy, come practice your English with me," she said. "We need to ask if our room has certain services.""Okay!" I said excitedly. I loved practicing my English. At school, we were learning how to ask about amenities at hotels. The friendly lady at the front desk helped us check in. "Excuse me," I said slowly and carefully in English. "Does our room have a TV?" I was so proud of myself for remembering that whole sentence! The lady smiled at me. "Why yes, your room does have a flat screen TV," she replied in English. My mom gave me an encouraging nod to keep going. "Does it...have...WiFi?" I asked, sounding out the word carefully."Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel," the lady responded.Sarah tugged on my shirt. "Ask if we can order a snack!" she whispered loudly.I grinned. "Um, does room...have...room service?" Remembering all the vocabulary words was hard! The lady laughed. "Yes, we do offer 24/7 room service here at the hotel."By then my dad had checked us in. "Great job using your English, champ," he said, ruffling my hair. I beamed with pride. We took the elevator up to our room on the 10th floor. As soon as we opened the door, Sarah made a beeline for the window. "Wow! Look at that pool!" she exclaimed. I had to agree, the outdoor pool area looked awesome, with a waterslide and little waterfalls. The room itself was really nice too. There were two big beds, a TV mounted on the wall, and a little table and chairs for eating.A vase of fresh flowers sat on the nightstand. "This is so cool!" I said happily, flopping down on one of the beds."Don't get too comfortable yet," my mom said. "We should do one more check to confirm all the services are here like we asked."I sat up straight. "You're right! I'll do it." I marched around the room, investigating like a detective.First, I tried turning on the TV. Easy peasy, it worked just fine. Then I connected my tablet to the WiFi and was able to browse the internet no problem. Lastly, I flipped through the room service menu. My stomach rumbled just looking at all the yummy food options."Everything works perfectly!" I reported back to my parents. "The TV, the WiFi, and we can definitely order room service." I was thrilled that I got to use my English skills to confirm all the amenities were available."You did such a great job," my mom said, giving me a hug. "I'm proud of you for practicing your English."Dad ruffled my hair again. "Who wants to hit the pool?""Me me me!" Sarah and I shouted, racing out of the room. That hotel was going to be so much fun!The rest of our vacation was amazing. We went swimming every day, ordered tasty snacks from room service, and I got to keep working on my English with the hotel staff. Asking about the room services was just the beginning. By the end of the week, I was talking up a storm!I had such an incredible time on that trip. Not just because the hotel was beautiful and we got to do fun activities, butbecause I made so much progress with my English. Confirming the amenities gave me confidence to keep learning and practicing. I can't wait until we get to go on another vacation!篇5My Family's Trip to the Big City HotelLast summer, my mom and dad took me and my little brother on a big trip to the city! We stayed at a super tall hotel that had like a million floors. When we got to the front desk, my dad said some things to the nice lady working there in a language I didn't understand - English!"Excuse me, miss," my dad said. "We have a reservation for two nights in one of your family suites."The lady typed some things into her computer and said, "Ah yes, the Smith family reservation for two nights in atwo-bedroom family suite. Let me confirm a few details about what services you would like included with your stay."My dad nodded and the lady kept talking in that funny English language. "The family suite comes with a mini fridge, coffee maker, and complimentary bottled water replenisheddaily. Would you like to add on our premium cable TV package for an additional fee?"My dad shook his head no. "No thank you, the basic channels will be just fine for us.""Okay, not a problem," the lady replied. "What about our high-speed internet access? That's an additional 12 per night.""Yes, please include the wifi for our stay," my dad answered. He always needs internet for his work. The lady clacked some more things into her computer. "And would you like to add the hotel breakfast buffet package? It's 18 per person, per day, with kids under 12 eating for free."My dad looked at me and my little brother and thought about it. "You know what, I think we'll pass on the breakfast package this time. We can pick up some cereal and milk from a convenience store.""Not a problem at all, sir," the nice lady said with a big smile. "Let me get your credit card information to complete your check-in, and I'll have someone show you up to your family suite."After giving her a funny looking credit card, we followed a bellhop person up to our room on the 22nd floor! The room wasnice and big, with two bedroom areas, a living room, and a bathroom. There were two tv's, an area for me and my brother to play, and a tiny kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker just like the lady had said!I was so excited to be staying in a big city hotel for our vacation. As we were getting settled in, my dad said "See kids, it's always a good idea to confirm what services and amenities are included when you check into a hotel. That way there are no surprises with the bill when you go to check out!"I didn't totally understand what he meant, but I was just happy to be going swimming in the hotel pool later! This was going to be the best city vacation ever.篇6Room Service? Yes or No?One day, my family and me went on a big trip to a hotel! It was so exciting. The drive there took for-ev-er but I didn't mind because I was just happy to be going somewhere new. When we finally got to the hotel, the first thing I noticed was how ginormous it was! It had to be at least a hundred floors high. The lobby had sparkling chandeliers and red carpet that feltsuper soft underfoot. I really wanted to do a somersault on it but my mom said no.The lady behind the counter was very nice. She gave us our room keys and told us all about the amenities, which is a fancy word for extras. She said the hotel had a pool, a gym, a restaurant, and room service. I had heard of room service before from the movies but wasn't totally sure what it meant.Once we got up to our room on the 15th floor, I immediately ran over and jumped on one of the beds. The beds were so comfy and bouncy! My little brother copied me and we had a jumping contest to see who could jump higher. I won, but only because I'm bigger. My mom unpacked our suitcases while dad checked out the bathroom. He said the bathtub was humongous and perfect for a kid's swim. I couldn't wait to take a bath later!Pretty soon, my stomach started rumbling. We had skipped lunch to try to get to the hotel faster. I asked my mom, "Can we pleeeease order room service? I'm starving!"My mom looked at the room service menu but then stood there with a funny expression. She turned to my dad and said,"Honey, does this hotel actually have room service? I don't see any information about it in here."My dad took the menu and studied it closely. "You're right, it doesn't mention room service at all. We should call down to the front desk and ask."So my dad picked up the room phone and dialed 0 for the front desk. I could hear the ringing on the other end. Finally, a woman answered in a polite voice, "Front desk, how may I assist you?"My dad said, "Hi there, we're in room 1518 and we're wondering if this hotel offers room service? The menu doesn't have any information about it."There was a brief pause, and then the woman responded, "Oh, I'm so sorry sir, but we actually don't have room service at this hotel. The menu in your room is just for our onsite restaurant downtown."My heart sank. No room service?! How could they not have room service at a gigantic hotel like this? I had been dreaming of having a burger and fries delivered right to our room.My dad thanked the woman and hung up. He turned to me with an apologetic look. "Sorry kiddo, I guess we'll have to go downstairs or out to eat if we want food."I slumped my shoulders in disappointment. My mom could see how bummed out I was and gave me a hug. "Don't worry, we'll still have plenty of fun! Why don't we all go swimming after we eat?"Swimming did cheer me up a bit. But I have to admit, I was pretty sad there was no room service. I had been looking forward to that burger being brought right to me as I watched TV in my pj's. Oh well, maybe next time! The next day, I asked my parents if we could go somewhere for lunch that had room service, just in case I got hungry again later. They laughed and said they'd look into it. A kid can dream, right? From that trip, I learned that not every hotel has room service. Some of them are just too small, or maybe it costs too much money. Either way, always good to double check and not just assume! If there's no room service, no biggie, you can still have lots of fun doing other things. But I'll definitely be asking about room service for our next vacation!。
