①scenery 是总称, 指大范围的自然风光,是由多个 scene构成的景色, 常译为 “景色”, “风景”.

②scene指展现在眼前的情景, 也可经指scenery的一 部分, 指某处小范围的景色, 大多包括景物中的人 及活动, 可译为 “情景”, “景色”, “场面”, “(戏剧)一场”
③view是指人以一定的角度(或从远处或从高处等)所 看到的景色,还有 “观点”, “看法”的意思.
④sight 是眼睛所看到的景象, 可以指美丽的风景,也 可以指悲惨的景象, 用其复数sights表示名胜古迹, 人文景观等.
7.FAULT
He lost his job, but it was his own fault for lying. find fault with sb./ sth. 挑某人/某物的毛病，找茬 She’s always finding fault with me. be at fault 有错的，要对错误负责任的 My memory was at fault.
spot sb. /sth. doing sth. 发现某人/某物正在做某事 be spotted with sth. 被…….弄污
off the spot 不准确，离题 on the spot 当场，立即 put sb. on the spot 使某人尴尬，使某人为难
