Step 1 Warning-up and revision
1.Greeting the Ss as usual. Check their homework.
T: What’s the date today?
S: It’s November 10th
T: Whose birthday is November 10th?
S: My birthday is –
S: Happy Birthday!
Step 2 Grammar Focus
1.询问学生生日。
T: When is your birthday?
S: My birthday is on March 12th.
T: And when is your birthday? You may answer it in Chinese.
2.复习我们已经学过的基数词one, two, three
到thirty-one。然后引出序数词的学习,教学日期的表达法。
3.复习from one to
thirty-one。(引出序数词,教学拼读,强调构成。部分词写在黑板上。)
4.教学序数词,让学生自己总结规律,教师再总结基数词变序数词的口诀,以便学生记
忆。
基数词变序数词歌诀基变序有规律,词尾加上-th。一、二、三特殊记,单词词尾t d d。八少t,九去e,ve要用f替。整十变化须注意:
ty变为tie,后跟-th莫迟疑。若想表示几十几,只变个位就可以。

4.Ss work with his or her partner. Ask and answer the questions.
