I’m very glad to be elected as the representative of receiving exchange students from abroad. And as a result, I will show Amy, a peer of mine from Canada and coming to China to finish he project on Chinese Revolution around Shanghai, acting as a tourist guide. Personally, I regard it as a special task and a meaningful experience and I should get it planned in advance my ideas are as follows.

First and for most, among all the history attractions in Shanghai, I choose to have Amy visit the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. There are two main reasons leading to my choice.

On the one hand, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower is one of the most famous land scope of Shanghai, symbolizing the “height” of our city. Not only its tall figure but also its special shape and beautiful light at might has made it well received by visitors from all areas of the world. Evidence of which is that nearly every tourists are band to visit the TV Tower once they come to Shanghai. So you see, what an unforgettable the oriental peal TV Tower is so that no one is to miss it!

On the other head, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower has itself located along the Huangpu River, in the area of LuJiaZui.

So at the same time of showing Amy the magnificent tower, I can also make Shanghai fast development in economic seen by a foreign visitor, thus help finish her report and meanwhile build up a better image of Shanghai in a foreigner’s impression. I’m sure Amy will marvel at the high buildings sprung up the years in the area, and feel the fast development of Shanghai and even China.

Based in what I’ve referred to about, I choose the Oriental Pearl TV Tower as the spot where I receive the foreign gesture and I’m sure we’ll have a nice day.
