一、教材简析
本单元主要学习描述不同季节的气候特征,以及在不同季节里人们经常从事的活动。教师可以先鼓励学生根据自己平时的观察,用已有的语言知识,对当季的气候特征或者当天的天气情况做简单描述。在学习目标词汇和新句型后,让学生进行自主描述,体现循序渐进的教学方式。教师在词汇教学中,可多多利用图片或实物,启发学生联想,使他们更好地掌握关于季节和温度的词汇。

四、教学过程
引入话题,铺垫词句
1.同学们现在天气温暖,是什么季节呢?你们喜欢干什么呢?
2.Free talk
Play a game
T: Hello,boys and girls.
S: Hello.
T: How are you today? Is it hot today? Is it summer now?
S: Fine, thanks. Yes. / No.
T: Boys and girls, today firstly let’s play a game. I’m going to show you some words or picture s. Please try to guess what season it is.
Ss: (学生根据老师出示的单词或图片猜季节)
Talk about the four seasons
T: Boys and girls, do you like this game?
S: Yes.
T: Well, we all know that there’re four seasons in a year. And seasons are different from each other. Here I have some cards. Can you read them?
(黑板上先翻出春天卡片spring, warm, funny)
S: 读卡片
T: Yes. Now can you try to finish the rest of three according to “Story time”?
(学生不看书,口头填写剩下的三个季节,说对了,老师翻出卡片)
T: Good! Now let’s talk about the four seasons according to t hem.
S: 根据黑板上的卡片说四季。
In spring, it is warm. It is interesting to fly a kite.
In summer, it is hot. It is nice to eat ice creams.
In autumn…
In winter…
整体理解,模仿朗读
1.新课呈现
1)老师让学生注意手中季节卡片,然后让他们联想季节,从而导出四个季节单词。
2)讲解语言点
T: You’ve enjoyed the game, do you like it? Is it funny? What’s it about?
S: It’s about seasons.
T: How many seasons?
S: Four.
T: What are they?
S: They are spring, summer, autumn and winter.
T: Which is the first season of the year?
S: Spring.
T: I like spring best and I think it’s the most beautiful season. Do you think so?
S: Yes.
T: What can you often do in spring?
S: We can fly kites.
T: Yes, spring is the perfect time to fly kites.
T: What’s the weather like in spring?
S: It’s sunny.
T: Yes, i t’s so bright. In what weather can children fly kites? Can they fly a kite on a rainy day? S: No.
T: They fly kites on a windy day. (呈现windy and bright)
T: What about summer? Do you like summer? Who likes summer, put up your hands! Oh, many of you like summer. Look, the sun shines brightly in summer, how do you feel?
S: Hot.
T: Yes, the temperature is very high. The sun shines brightly.(引出单词shine, brightly)
依次引出所学重要单词。
2. Play a card game
T: Now let’s play a card game. Who wants to play this game with me?(取下黑板上的卡片, PPT 显示规则)
In this game, firstly, one of you shows one of your cards. For example, I show the card------summer. And the other two students should show their cards which are about summer. And anyone of you can show the card first. But when you are playing, please try to say the sentences here. (示范游戏, 强调语言)
