When Paul Edgecomb took the food to thank him helping curing the sick, he required to share with Del and Mr.Jingles. From this we can see he was a kindhearted,and sometimes innocent like a child.
In the end , Coffeey was already to be executed,he c源自文库nfessed,and he asked the police not put him in the dark,he may be the angle,but the truth can no be replace the law.
It’s my atonement,you see.it’s my punishment for letting John Coffeey ride the lighting .For killing a miracle of God. I’ll have to stay. I’ll die eventually.Of course I’ll sure. I have no illusions of immortality. But I will have wished for death long before death find me.In ture ,I wish for it already.

When Paul looked back upon the time he worked in the prison,he regreted he carry on the lighting kill to Coffeey.Although that was his last work in that prison,he can’t forgive himself for him kill the kind man,and he wait for the death God to take him away.

What part of the story told by the movie was the most powerful ,why?
In this part,Coffeey use his mysterious power to help Paul Edgecomb to cure his ill. The most powerful of this is that his mysterious power,and he can help the police which will kill him in the future. From this we can see that he is a good man.
When Coffeey saved the woman,the woman said she had met the Coffeey in somewhere.In fact ,wo don’t know whether the woman had met him in somewhere,maybe he was an angel the God sent to save the folk soul, suffer for the faults of another.
Boss Percy bad. He mean. He steped on Del’s mouse. I took it back thpugh. When Percy steped on Del’s mouse,and the mouse is always to die ,he used his mysterious power to save the mouse.So kind as he was,in other’s mind,he was a bad people,but in fact,he hsd a kindheart.
