My Mother in My Eye

Throughout the ages,the poems to praise mothers have never been in shortage.From the perspective of numerous poets ,the unselfish love of mother are inclined to be their inspiration of their works.Even for an ordinary man,the love of mother can be described beyond words.The mother in my eye ,sharing much in common with all the other mothers ,are hardly separable from the qualities of hardworking,thrift and dedicated.

Born in a most tough time and poor family in a distant village,my mother has fallen into the habit of hardworking and thrift.She has rushing outside with my father in the cities,suffering exposure to the burning sun and heavy storm, but never made any complaint.In my mind,she ,always wearing shabby clothes,never bought a new dress for herself.I know she is reluctant to spend any money for herself yet making every efforts to give me and my elder brother a better life.I remembered that once I asked her why she could endure so much without any complaint. Smiling,she gently stroked my face and told me the only reason is the deep love for my father, my brother and I .

My mother,a typical Chinese woman,is always self-giving all her life. My parents , almost illiterate,to make a living,had been greengrocer in Wuhan for 9 years since I was 5 years old.To compete with other

greengrocers,my mother hold on to washing the vegetables in the early morning in advance.When winters approached, the water in the foam boxes packing fresh vegetables was freezing,but she never quit this habit .As a consequence,her hands were intensely frostbitten throughout every winter.She said nothing in those days and just endured the pain alone.Nevertheless ,when finding the cold injuries in my hands,she hurried to take me to the hospital and sought to alleviate my pain as possible as she could.

My mother,not only devotes herself to our family,also is warm-hearted to others.She always asks me never to take others’petty gain.She is apt to share the happiness,tasty food ,anything that can be shared with the neighbors and volunteer to give her hands to those in trouble.Therefore,she has been enjoying favorable reputation among the relatives and her st year,when I was spending my winter holiday with my parents ,one of our neighbors ,requested my mother to take care of her dogs for a month.To be honest,it is quite inconvenient for our family , fitting into one small room , to raise two dogs.However,my mother should promise to take good care of her two dogs with no hesitation.About a month later ,the neighbor took back their healthier and cleaner dogs .Having been together with them for a month, I was so attached to the two little dogs.At that time,I came to realize the meaning of taking pleasure in helping others.
