过去完成时的结构和定义

结构：助动词had（用于各种人称和数）+过去分词

定义：表示在过去某一时刻或动作之前完成的动作，表示动作发生的时间是“过去的过去”。

By the time I went outside, the bus had already left.

By nine o’clock last night, we had finished our homework.

Had you reached the station before ten o’clock?

She had rushed out of the door before I could stop her.

When I woke up, it had stopped raining.

过去完成时的用法回顾

（1）表示在过去某一时刻或动作之前完成的动作。

She had rushed out of the door before I could stop her.

When I got to school, I realized I had left my schoolbag at home.

（2）表示由过去的某一时刻开始，一直延续到过去另一时间的动作或状态。

I had been at the bus stop for 20 minutes when a bus finally came.

He said he had worked in that factory since 1949.
