• Daqing, which is famous for oil all over the country, is located in the west of Heilongjiang Province, just north of the capital city of Harbin. It has a population of about 2.9 million, most of whom are doing jobs related to oil. As we all know, the outstanding representative is Wang Jinxi, who worked day and night and devoted all his life to the construction of our country, which deserves our respect. • Daqing is booming not only in its economy but also in its culture and tourism. There are a lot of natural lakes which attract tourists from every corner of the country to come to enioy themselves.
•From my experience, I'd like to talk about the importance and steps of review. Firstly, make a review plan with certain contents of subjects at a certain time.Secondly, carry on the review plan regularly. Thirdly, examine what has been reviewed and make supplement in time. One thing to remember is to keep notes all the time. I follow my review plan strictly and have made progress in my study. It turns out to be good enough. Of course, there is more than one way to review. So long as we review regularly, we can find more ways to improve
•Hearing the news, the government took immediate action. A great many soldiers were sent to rescue the people from danger.Lots of volunteers offered to help. And large quantities of food，water, tents, and medicine were transported from other parts of China to the earthquake stricken areas.People in the disaster areas didn't lose confidence and hope.Instead they did what they could to rebuild their own homes.

• At 7:49 in the morning on April 14th. 2010. a 7.1-magnitude earthquake took place in Yushu, Qinghai. It was the second biggest earthquake within 3 years.
• Our school invited Mr. Horton, a foreign teacher working in a college in our city to give a class to the students of Senior Grade One. This class was very interesting and I have learned a lot from the foreign teacher.Mr. Horton had a free talk with us in easy English. He spoke slowly so that we could understand him well. Sometimes he repeated what we didn't understand. My classmates were all active in his class. To my joy, I understood almost everything Mr. Horton said. And I was able to ask questions in English, too.This class encouraged me very much. I'm sure if we keep on practising, it will not be so difficult for us to learn English well.
• As nobody knew there was going to be an earthquake,，they were so frightened when it happened. For a moment almost everything was in ruins. Houses and even buildings fell down and roads and bridges were destroyed. 2,698 people have been confimed dead, 270 missing and 12,135 injured.
