As an experienced sailor, I embarked on a thrilling adventure to explore the depths of the ocean. The journey began on a sunny day, with a crew of skilled sailors and a magnificent submarine. Our mission was to document the wonders of the underwater world and uncover its mysteries. The first few days were smooth sailing. The sea was calm, and the submarine glided effortlessly through the water. We observed colorful schools of fish, graceful sea turtles, and even encountered a playful pod of dolphins. It was truly a sight to behold. However, as the days went by, we encountered some challenges. The weather turned stormy, and the waves grew larger and more ferocious. Our submarine was tossed around like a toy in the hands of a child. We had to hold on tight and trust in our navigation skills to keep us on course.During one particularly turbulent night, we lost all communication with the surface. It was a nerve-wracking experience, as we were completely cut off from the outside world. We relied on our instincts and teamwork to navigate through the darkness and find our way back to safety.Despite the hardships, there were moments of sheer awe and wonder. We discovered a hidden underwater cave, adorned with shimmering stalactites and inhabited by bioluminescent creatures. It was like stepping into another world, a world filled with magic and beauty. One of the most memorable encounters was with a majestic humpback whale. It swam gracefully alongside our submarine, its haunting song resonating through the water. We were in awe of its size and power, yet also felt a deep sense of connection with this magnificent creature. As we continued our journey, we encountered more unique marine life, such as giant squids, mesmerizing jellyfish, and even a rare sighting of a giant manta ray. Eachencounter left us in awe of the diversity and beauty of the ocean. Finally, after weeks of exploration, we reached our destination the fabled lost city of Atlantis. It was a surreal sight, with ancient ruins hidden beneath the ocean floor. We spent hours exploring the ruins, trying tounravel the mysteries of this legendary city.In conclusion, my journey through the depths of the ocean was a rollercoaster of emotions. From the serene beauty of colorful reefs to the heart-pounding excitementof navigating through storms, it was an adventure like no other. The ocean is truly a treasure trove of wonders, waiting to be discovered.
My first voyage into the open sea was a whirlwind of emotions and experiences that I will never forget. As the ship set sail, I couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and trepidation. The vast expanse of the ocean stretched out before me, an endless horizon that seemed both inviting and intimidating. I had always dreamed of exploring the world by sea, and now my dream was finally coming true. The first few days at sea were marked by seasickness. The constant rocking of the ship proved more challenging than I had anticipated, and I spent a fair amount of time hugging the porcelain throne. But as the days turned into nights, my stomach eventually found its sea legs, and I was able to start enjoying the voyage. One of the most memorable moments of my journey occurred during a particularly calm night. The stars wereout in full force, and the Milky Way stretched across the sky like a celestial river. As I stood on the deck, gazing up at the heavens, I couldn't help but feel a profound sense of awe and wonder. It was in that moment that I realized the true vastness of the universe and the insignificance of my own existence. In addition to the awe-inspiring moments, there were also plenty of opportunities for fun and adventure. I made new friends from all walks of life, and we spent our days swimming, fishing, and exploring the nearby islands. I even got to learn a few basic sailing skills, which gave me a newfound appreciation for the skill and knowledge required to navigate the open sea.As the end of my voyage approached, I couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness. I had grown attached to my fellow shipmates and the ship itself, and I knew that I would miss the freedom and adventure of life at sea. But I also knew that I would never forget my experiences, and that they would stay with me long after I had returned to land.

I woke up to the sound of waves crashing against the hull of the boat. It was my third day at sea and I was starting to get used to the constant rocking of the boat. The sun was just starting to rise and I could see the orange and pink hues spreading across the sky.As I made my way up to the deck, I noticed that the wind had picked up overnight and the waves were much bigger than they had been the day before. The boat was swaying back and forth, making it difficult to walk in a straight line.I spent most of the morning helping the captain and crew with various tasks around the boat. We had to adjust the sails several times to keep the boat on course and prevent it from tipping over. It was hard work, but also incredibly rewarding to be a part of the team.In the afternoon, I took some time to relax and enjoythe view. The ocean stretched out as far as the eye could see, with no land in sight. It was both beautiful and daunting at the same time. I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and respect for the vastness of the sea.As the sun began to set, the crew gathered on deck for dinner. We shared stories and jokes, and I felt a sense of camaraderie with these people who were once strangers to me. It was amazing how quickly we had bonded over our shared experience at sea.As I lay down in my bunk that night, I felt a sense of exhaustion but also contentment. Being at sea was both challenging and exhilarating, and I couldn't wait to see what the next day would bring.。

River Ship Navigation Diary.Day 1:Today, I embarked on a journey on a river ship. The weather was perfect, with clear skies and a gentle breeze. As we set sail, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. The ship glided smoothly through the calm waters, and I could see the beautiful scenery along the riverbanks. It was truly a picturesque sight. I couldn't resist taking out my camera to capture the moment.Day 2:The second day of my river ship journey was equally enchanting. We passed through several small towns andvillages, each with its own unique charm. The ship made a brief stop at one of the towns, allowing us to explore the local market. The market was bustling with activity, and I couldn't resist trying some of the local delicacies. I sampled some fresh fruits and even bought a handmade souvenir from one of the vendors. It was a truly immersive experience.Day 3:On the third day, we encountered a slight change in weather. Dark clouds started to gather in the sky, and a light drizzle began to fall. However, this did not dampen my spirits as I continued to enjoy the journey. The rain added a touch of romance to the scenery, and I found myself lost in the beauty of nature. I even spotted a rainbow stretching across the sky, which was a sight to behold. It reminded me of the saying, "After the rain comes the rainbow."Day 4:As the journey continued, I had the opportunity to interact with fellow passengers on the ship. We shared stories and laughter, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere on board. It was fascinating to hear about their experiences and learn about different cultures. We formed a bond, despite our diverse backgrounds, and it made the journey even more memorable.Day 5:One of the highlights of the river ship journey was a visit to a historical site. The ship docked near an ancient temple, and we had the chance to explore its intricate architecture and learn about its rich history. The temple was filled with ornate statues and beautiful artwork, which left me in awe of the craftsmanship of the past. It was a humbling experience to be in the presence of such cultural heritage.Day 6:On the penultimate day of the journey, we encountered aminor obstacle. The river water level had risen due to heavy rainfall, making navigation a bit challenging. However, our skilled captain and crew managed to navigate through the rough waters safely. It was a testament totheir expertise and professionalism. Despite the temporary setback, the journey continued smoothly, and we reached our destination as planned.Day 7:As the river ship journey came to an end, I couldn't help but feel a tinge of sadness. The past week had been filled with unforgettable experiences and memories. From the stunning landscapes to the cultural encounters, it was a journey that had touched my heart. I bid farewell to the ship and its crew, grateful for the opportunity to embark on such a remarkable adventure.

The feeling of being out on the open sea, with nothing but the sound of the waves and the wind in my sails, was truly exhilarating.I remember one particular moment when I encountered a pod of dolphins swimming alongside my boat. The crew and I have encountered both challenges and awe-inspiring moments as we navigate the unpredictable waters. The days blend into one another, marked by the endless horizon stretching out in every direction. The vastness of the ocean both humbles and invigorates us, reminding us of the sheer magnitude of nature's power. Our ship, the "Ocean Explorer," has weathered rough storms and calm seas alike, a testament to the skill and dedication of our crew. Each sunrise brings new hope and determination as we continue our voyage towards the distant shores of Japan. As night falls, the stars emerge like diamonds scattered across the velvet sky, guiding our way through the darkness. The rhythmic sound of the waves against the hull lulls us into a peaceful slumber, a brief respite from the demands of the open sea.As we record these moments in our voyage log, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to witness thewonders of the ocean and the unity of our crew in the face of adversity. As I embarked on my journey through the depths of the ocean, I couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and trepidation. The underwater world held a mysterious allure, and I was eager to uncover its secrets during my 20,000 leagues under the sea.The first few days were relatively calm, with the gentle rocking of the ship lulling me into a sense of tranquility. However, as we delved deeper into the abyss, the true power and beauty of the ocean revealed itself. The water became darker, and the pressure intensified, making it feel as though the weight of the world was bearing down on me.Despite the challenges, the marine life I encountered was awe-inspiring. Schools of colorful fish swam alongside the ship, their scales shimmering in the sunlight thatmanaged to penetrate the depths. I even had the privilege of witnessing a majestic pod of dolphins leaping gracefully through the waves, their playful antics bringing a smile to my face. One of the most memorable encounters was with a giant squid. Its enormous tentacles reached out towards the ship, as if testing our presence. The crew and I watched in awe as it gracefully maneuvered through the water, its size and power leaving us in awe.The journey also had its fair share of dangers. We encountered treacherous storms that threatened to capsize the ship, and the constant fear of running out of supplies loomed over us. Yet, the camaraderie among the crew kept us going. We shared stories, played games, and even had impromptu sing-alongs to lift our spirits during the long days and nights at sea.As we neared the end of our voyage, I couldn't help but reflect on the incredible experiences and memories I had made. The ocean had shown me its wonders and its dangers, but it had also taught me the importance of resilience and teamwork.

Left Shanghai for Singapore.
2. Called all hands on deck.
Celebrated National Day.
)2、省略动词be:动词be包括:现在式is、am、are,过去式was、were,现在完成式have/has been,在多数情况下,只要不会引起语义不清,动词be 可省略。
Ship was labouring heavily.
2. Date of Mar. 10th was repeated.
可省略为:Date of Mar. 10th repeated. Sea is calm.
例如:The Pacific Ocean (太平洋),省略为:Pacific Ocean ;The Double (多瑙河),省略为:Double ;The West Undies (西印度群岛),省略为:West Undies; The sun (太阳),省略为:Sun ;The Queen Many (玛丽皇后号),省略为:Queen Many 。
1. Let go the port anchor.
可省略为:Let go port anchor. Lowered the life boat.
可省略为:Lowered life boat.4.
例4.♀是anchor(锚)的符号例5.
例1.Rang stand by engine.(摇车钟命令备车)可简化为:Stand by engine.或:S/B engine.例2.We had fine weather.(天气晴好)可简化为:Fine weather.例3.Light breeze was blowing.(吹微风)可简化为:Light breeze. 5.Sounded and found that the nature of the bottom is mud.(测深,发现地质为泥)可简化为:Sounded, bottom mud.(测深,泥底)6.
3.Brought up with 3 shackles of cable.(出3节锚链抓底)句中brought 是bring的过去式。
例1.Pilot left her.(引航员离船)例2.Signalled her name.(发出船名信号)例3.Swing her round.(把船掉转)二、注意事项1.
Made rounds all over the ship but found nothing unusual.
可写成:Round made, all well.
例如:(句中省略的成分用括号【】标出)While [we were ] getting alongside the pier ,[we] struck against a barge.
As it is National Day ,no work today.(今天是国庆节,休假一天。
)可用分词being代替As it is ,将句子简化,可将句子简化为:Being National Day, no work today.2.
例如:repeated the date.
(1)Stopped cargo work for the day.
句中for the day 是一个固定的词组,意为“本日”,the 也不可省略。
(2)Secured the movables on deck.
(3)Sampled water at the depth of 100m.
航海日志中常见的此类动词有:Stop (停止)、finish(完成)、go on(继续)、keep(保持)、give up(停止、断开)、put off (延期)、avoid (避免、避开)、escape (排出、漏出)、miss (错过、逃脱)、mind(留心)、postpone (延期)等。
例1.We stopped (谓语)taking (动名词)in fuel oil.
不能写成:We stopped to take (不定式)in fuel oil.
例:Started (谓语)to load (不定式)cargo .
